Common cold virus linked to potentially fatal blood clotting disorder

In anti-PF4 disorders, the person’s immune system makes antibodies against platelet factor-4 (PF4), a protein that is released by platelets. When an antibody forms against PF4 and binds to it, this can trigger the activation and rapid removal of platelets in the bloodstream, leading to blood clotting and low platelets, respectively.
Sometimes, the formation of anti-PF4 antibodies is triggered by a patient’s exposure to heparin, called heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), and sometimes it occurs as an autoimmune condition without heparin exposure, which is referred to as “spontaneous HIT.”
In the last three years, thrombocytopenia has been shown to rarely occur after injection with COVID-19 vaccines that are made with inactivated pieces of an adeno–viral vector. These vaccines are different than the ones made in the United States, such as those by Moderna and Pfizer. The condition is referred to as vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT).

Did President Trump’s Doctors Needlessly Risk His Life With Remdesivir?
To recap, on Oct. 2, 2020, Trump as a COVID inpatient began a 5-day course of remdesivir. But the timeline of publicly available info before Trump was hospitalized, and possibly the WHO study (whose results were released to Gilead in late September, so Fauci no doubt knew) about to be published, is loaded with negative news about remdesivir (not to mention suspicious behavior by Fauci; see the two April 29, 2020 entries).
The only positive news was from the NIAID/Gilead May 22 report not subject to the usual levels of peer review and scrutiny, even then offering at best a decreased length of stay. While decreased length of stay has value in terms of reduced suffering and hospital costs, I don’t know about you, but I’d rather suffer with the disease a few more days than take on unnecessary and not insignificant risk of organ failure and death.

I believe Pence perhaps. I saw a video/short clip with Miller praising Pence for the way they were able to get something done in a short period of time. After all, Amery was a political voice in the wilderness warning that neither his own party nor the opposition Labour party was speaking or acting for the real interest of the British people.
Amery, a shocked Greenwood, and others had finally had enough of the partisan nonsense, and demanded the nation unite against Nazi Germany.
Hours later, Britain declared war on Germany, the first major power to do so.
On a second iconic occasion on May 7, 1940, Amery voiced even stronger views — again, widely held by the public, but rarely voiced by the timid political class.
The inept Chamberlain government had just lost a winnable Norway campaign to Germany.
Amery responded with a blistering attack on the incompetence of the conservative Chamberlain administration by quoting Oliver Cromwell’s hallmark 1653 order to the Long Parliament: “You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go.”
Three days later after Amery’s speech and the invasion of France, an ill Chamberlain and most of his advisors resigned. Churchill became prime minister. The rest is history.
We need a voice like Amery’s. Like Britain from 1939 to 1940, America is in existential danger.

Carbon Dioxide is heavier than air. This keeps it low to the ground where green plants can get to it. The most abundant “greenhouse gas” is actually water vapor. You will never find significant amounts of CO2 high in the atmosphere: it falls to the ground.
45 trillion cubic meters of water vaporized by Tonga recently. I dont know if I believe this, but they say we will see a 2° increase in temps over a decade from this one eruption.
With that said I would think the added vapor would mean more cloud formation leading to more light being reflected back into space. Thus on the balance we should see no increase.
Okie, what most people do not know- a lot of the heat on this planet comes up from the Earth’s spinning planet core (the same thing that helps to create volcanoes and moving continental shelves). So that will be reflected back to the Earth by the clouds. And any heat that is absorbed by the clouds will come down with the rain. The temperature will stay high until the water vapor level comes back down to normal. It is estimated that will take about 10 years.
Going to disagree with you there. Absent the sun, this planet would be a cold ice ball. Even then that’s assuming water vapor could exist on our planet without the sun. Our planet could not create enough surface heat to make up most of what we experience. The easiest example is the temperature differential just between sun and shade. This is a slim, wickedly funny satire of 126 pages organised into ten chapters of rollicking hilarity. It’s a hugely enjoyable book for all those who were critical of lockdowns, masks, and vaccines. As the Brits say, it takes the piss out of all the self-proclaimed Covid experts, the public health clerisy, the media, and people with blind faith in the experts.
Thus the fictitious professor Oisín MacAmadáin informs us of “a good friend in Dublin whose fully vaccinated father died from Covid. He also told me how much worse he knew it could have been.” And all the grannies going merrily about their way in Stockholm “must be brainwashed. A perfect example of state propaganda.” The true believers are likely to be offended.
MacAmadáin is an expert on expertise, with a “long and incredibly distinguished career.” The opening sentence of the book declares “I am an expert.” This gives him the unique ability to become an instant expert on any topic. While the FDA was certainly complicit in discouraging the use of Ivermectin to treat covid, much bigger actors actually caused almost complete lack of access to many.
CDC protocol was followed by virtually every hospital and medical center. Also supported by mefical insurance companies.
