The real problem then becomes Electoral College. In most states the electoral votes are awarded based on the overall winner of the popular vote within the state. Now, since the electors are apportioned by the number of congressional representatives each state has, it would make sense to award electoral votes to the popular vote winner in each congressional district and to split the remaining two “at large” votes (two Senators/state) between the two candidates having the most and second-most popular votes.
Under this scenario, in 2016 in New Hampshire with four electoral votes (two districts/two Senators), Trump and Hillary would have split the electoral count with two votes each because Trump actually won in one district. Thus the electoral vote would then have precisely reflected popular vote. But since Hillary came out ahead in the overall state popular vote tally she got all four electoral votes, “stealing” two from Trump.
Can you see how much harder it would be to cheat? There are 435 congressional district elections and they’d have to mess with a lot more of them.
This would salvage the huge Marxist cheat factory in the Philadelphia area too. I have been saying for years we need a sort of Republicanism in the states themselves.

sync: I passed a Ford 150 Lightening the other day on the 405 Freeway, in LA. The vehicle was shiny-new and the bed was empty. All the other pickups on the 405 were loaded up with tool, supplies, junk, etc. I cannot imagine a practical reason for owning an electric pick-up. Same goes for the Rivian. Any Rivian pick-up I had an empty bed, as if never used to haul anything. Plus, you never see a dirty EV pick-up. They are always shiny-new and spotless.

Takeaway lesson: do the routine maintenance.

Over the past several months have had several people approach me to ask if I would consider selling it. No way. There will come a point fairly soon where the number and capability of Ukrainian forces, their density, if you like, declines to the point that they can no longer hold a continuous line. Note that it’s not just about numbers. Modern warfare is frighteningly complex, and one element relies on many others to operate properly. We can see the results for the Ukrainians of having lost their airpower and helicopter capabilities some time ago, and now steadily losing what remains of their artillery capability. So let’s assume for the sake of argument that in two weeks time the Ukrainians still have, oh, fifty modern tanks of various types and three times that number of armoured personnel carriers. But they will be scattered over a wide area, quite possibly out of communication with each other and with their superior commanders, and made up of disparate groups of equipments and personnel trained in different places by different nations according to slightly different principles. There may be ammunition and spares but no tanks, or tanks without ammunition, and the units themselves will only be viable until they run out of fuel or something breaks. It’s highly improbable that they would all be able to operate together as an organised group, even if they were collected together and adequately supplied. At that point, the Ukrainian forces will have such a low density compared to the size of the terrain that they will cease to be a threat and will become a nuisance. Of course, they can continue to carry out ambushes and hit and run attacks, but if the Russians decide to move forward, all the Ukrainians can do is slow them down.
NATO troops have been in Ukraine operating NATO equipment. The western media calls these “mercenaries”.
