PTrump’s lawyers suggested they might want to have the J6 trial televised. The oppo says federal trials cannot be televised live. A post over at GO cites the sixth amendment as law. From the post by American:

Question for the legal experts here. Can PTrump demand under the 6th that his trial be televised live?

The other night, at the PDJT event in Alabama, Greg Phillips and Katherine Engelbrecht presented a video to President Trump about a former Alabama football player, Robert Van de Graaf. He was a protegee of PDJT’s uncle John who created the static electric generator named after him. This jogged my memory about John Trump’s mentor and Raytheon founder Vannevar Bush.

The indictments, in each case are so absurd, and the underlieing legal theories not only novel, but convoluted, and UnConstitutional that any competent 3rd year Law Student should be able to construct a defence to destroy them.
FEC reports come out quarterly, so precise figures are difficult to pin down, but it appears every time PDJT is indicted, his campaign fund (which he CAN use for his defence) goes up by $10-12 million.
In most of these cases, despite the # of individual indictments, the defence is the SAME, because the CHARGE is the same.
With Bragg, for instance despite 34 charges, PDJT’s team doesn’t have to research and develop 34 seperate defences, just ONE.
In short, PDJT may well be, literally and financially “profiting” from these indictments, before we even calculate the massive free media he is getting.

I just read an article listed this morning on Real Clear Politics that is a great analysis of The NY Times and PBS designated conservative voice, David Brooks. It’s titled Yes, David Brooks, you are the “Bad Guys” written by Sasha Stone, Substack.
She, apparently is a long term leftist Democrat and has seen the light and value of Donald Trump. She really nails it in her article how so many so called Republicans are just self-serving elitist.

Agree – but she is moving in the right direction and we need to encourage people who are doing that. I have had several conversations with her regarding the abortion issue and how the Pro-Life movement is very similar to her position on the c0v1d shots. We are asking for the truth to be told to the woman PRIOR to the procedure, for the actual facts regarding long-term serious consequences (both physical AND mental/emotional) to be acknowledged and explained, and for the insane profit margins to be fully explored. She admitted that she had never thought of it that way and that I had raised some issues she had never considered…so, I remain hopeful that she will be honest with herself and continue moving toward truth!

Second Item: Ohio has a special election on Tuesday to make it more difficult to amend the state constitution. In recent years, special interest groups of the Leftists/Communists have come here – with large amounts of money for agitprop – from the coasts to push their agendas via amendments.
The election has an issue to require any petition for an amendment to appear on a ballot to get 5% of the population in every county before it can be voted upon. After that, a 60% majority will be needed for the amendment to pass, not unlike the 2/3rds needed in the federal Constitution. Right now, a bare 50% + 1 is the law.
What has happened recently is that the Communists have gone to the three or four largest cities – run by DEMS – to place their agenda items on the ballot.
Given that some of the rural counties – especially near the Ohio River (shotguns-to-greet-you-on-the-front-porch territory) are fairly Conservative, it would be difficult for Leftist activists even to find 5% of the population!
Early voting is reported to be “massive.” We have driven through two of Ohio’s large cities: rich areas (guilty liberal DEMS) often have signs saying NO to the issue. As houses become more modest, YES signs begin to be seen.
The rural areas, of course, will probably vote YES.
The agitprop claims that voting YES is “AN ATTACK ON DEMOCRACY!!! IT TAKES AWAY YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE!!!”

Ohio voted for President Trump by about 55% : we shall see if the lies from the Left succeed on Tuesday.

I live in an area that is typically around 105-115 in July/August and it’s barely averaging 100 this year. Most days are in the 90’s. I can’t remember a summer this low.

Here in the state of lying jerks everywhere, Oregon, the homeless who are living in their cars have not registered their cars for awhile. It is apparently becoming a problem because they also are beginning not to carry insurance. This has probably been going on for a long time but for whatever reason the police are just figuring it out and ticketing. One homeless woman I know has not had insurance since 2020. Of course the tickets won’t be paid either. The cars could be impounded but then…………more people without shelter and that’s already a mess.

Any Constitution should only be changed with overwhelming support, something like 2/3. Here’s a word of warning, especially to the ladies. My Mom just died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack that nobody knew she had had (or: “was having”), including her. It turns out that females might not have “chest pains.” She’d only been “dizzy” and “nauseated” over the past week or so, and more-or-less didn’t think anything of it. She was entirely ambulatory, lucid, and not in pain up to 12 hours before she died. Never suspected how serious the situation actually was – initially, no one did. But the cardiologists now suspect that the damage had been accumulating for some time, undetected. Likely starting when the “dizziness” did. By the time they realized what was actually happening, irreversible damage had already been done and there was nothing anyone could do. So, “ladies, be aware.” Heart disease is “the silent killer,” which can literally take you “entirely by surprise, and slowly.”

My MIL was having terrible jaw pain. We took her to the hospital and discovered that this is typical for women who are having a heart attack.

I purposely didn’t comment on Nancy Pelosi’s very weird story concerning her husband, but now I can because she said something about me, with glee, that was really quite vicious. “I saw a scared puppy,” she said, as she watched me on television, like millions of others, that didn’t see that. I wasn’t “scared.” Nevertheless, how mean a thing to say! She is a Wicked Witch whose husbands journey from hell starts and finishes with her. She is a sick & demented psycho who will someday live in HELL!
