It is said here, that God will not punish sin twice; and therefore because Jesus suffered and died for our sins, we do not have to die. What that leaves us to believe then, is that we can still go on in our sins, without fear of punishment? Isn’t that what the apostles referred to as, having a form of religion, but denying the power thereof? Doesn’t that then make void the warning of Jesus, how that hearing His words but not doing them makes us stupid and fools doomed to a great fall; and eventually being NOT known and turned away into the outer darkness and weeping and gnashing of teeth?
The proof of grace and truth having been wrought in us, is the New Creation, which is begotten of the word of God, and His seed; “That cannot sin, because it is born of God.” “Who the Son sets free is really free.”
We should understand what the Lord meant, when He talked about the thieves and robbers not entering in through the gate, but climbed up some other way, and shall be counted trespassers.
This word of mercy and forgiveness and cleansing, is not to be taken as the normal Christian experience; but as it is intended, to comfort and give hope and instruction to the unestablished. Its not something that should continue, once the thing is known, and has been repented of: for eventually we either get the victory and continue on to maturity; or the habit of failure becomes a character trait; until the light that is in you is darkness; and then, How great the darkness! Then you wake up one day, totally still deep in bondage to sinning every day. Then what happens when you should be clean and holy and fit for God to use you to be a witness to minister to others; and you instead witness for the devil, and cause others to sin! We have to think of all these things, when we are tempted to be too easy and sloppy with our interpretation of Scriptures.

Premature Babies have survived and thrived when born after 5 months and 1 to 2 weeks.
My triplets were born at 34 weeks. They came home with me after 6 days in the hospital – they went straight to the regular nursery. They had to have 3 days of bili-bed treatments for jaundice, but they were fine and healthy. They could breathe with no assistance and eat. It sickens me that some clinics would murder these tiny loves!

Lorrie, triplets are competitive with each other! I potty trained them before they were two years old – in the backyard. Had potty chairs everywhere. Put them on one every twenty minutes, if they had success they got a “tee-tee” treat – a fruit loop. They wanted to earn that dang treat;)

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

God has a unique relationship with His children, and it is the relationship with Himself through the Holy Spirit who comes to indwell each person who believes.
There are scores of other spirits at work in the world, intending to influence you, deceive you, corrupt you, and destroy your witness. They may sound convincing when they present themselves: “Since God is a loving God, he would want me to be happy!” Be aware that this was never promised.
While the Lord wants you filled with His joy (Psalm 32:11, 71:23), which comes from the inside out, happiness relies on externals. Another enticing thought is, “I don’t think it is really necessary to believe all of the Bible.” Be mindful of the reality that, “All Scripture is given by the inspiration of God” (2 Timothy 3:16).
He certainly could not inspire untruths.
Test the spirits, the apostle John says. In the verses following today’s, he writes, “By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God”(vv. 2-3).
Discerning the truthfulness of that “confession” is key to testing false spirits. Some might say, “Sure, Jesus is God incarnate,” but their actual beliefs are proved by their actions. In verse 6, John says “Whoever is not from God does not listen to us.” These are people who do not want to hear the true Gospel of the incarnation, life, miracles, death, resurrection, ascension, and return of Jesus Christ.
God has come in the form of the Holy Spirit to aid you in discerning truth from error.
Pay attention and learn to listen to Him. Pray and study the Word of the Lord. Guard your heart and avoid that which is untrue. Intercede for government authorities to have open ears and open hearts to receive the Gospel and receive the True Spirit of God by believing.

Good morning all!
I woke up a bit sore and stiff this morning. Been working those muscles. Yesterday we got the mess cleaned up from the large pine limb. Steve and I had both our fire rings burning. There were so many lose green unopened pine cones we actually had to rake them into my aluminum coal shovel. There were about 15 shovels full. When we were done it was getting into the heat of the day and we retreated into our houses.
After eating an early dinner and taking a nap I was out cutting and splitting firewood by 18:30. Worked on splitting the stuff in the lean-too that needed it and cutting the pieces that were more than 17 1/2″ long down to the size. I shifted the stack from the left side to the right. Finished that up just after sunset. Now have a stack 5 1/2′ high and 10′ long along the back right hand side of the lean-too. Sherry came out and helped me for the last hour, stacking as I cut and split.
The load from Steve’s short bed pickup is stacked in the gravel drive beside the lean-too where I keep my small dump trailer I pull with my tractor and my lawn sweeper. I doesn’t look like many of the pieces in that stack are over 17 1/2″ long, but more than half of them will have to be split. That’s the next batch to cut, split, and stack. It is a stack maybe 3′ high by 6 ‘ long.
Then there is the wood filling my long bed pickup. Once done with the stack from Steve’s truck I’ll back my truck up in the drive and cut and spit it as I take it off the truck.
I still need to pick up the last of the limbs in my yard and mow. Think I work on cutting and splitting today and mow tomorrow. I have an appointment with the Urologist tomorrow at 08:00 and will mow that afternoon.
This is all hardwood that has been cured for two years and so as much as I can will be stacked on the right hand side of the lean-too. Think I can fit three rows 6′ high x 10’ long in that space. The other side of the lean-too will be filled with cut and split wood from the three Chinese elms in Steves back field we will be cutting down later this week or perhaps next week. That will be the uncured wood. I think that wood should have at least two years to cure and since Chinese elm holds a lot of water when green, it will need it.
I will put termite bait plugs out around the garage and lean-too. They work well to take are of those pests. But Powder puff beetles will start working on the already cured wood if I don’t get it burned up in the next couple winters.
After the wood is all stacked we will make curtains made of surplus rubberized canvas that Steve has. He’ll sew a tube channel in the bottom to thread a 1/2″ pipe through to weigh the curtains down and put grommets across the top and the two piece curtain will hang from and slide along a cable to open and close. I already have the cable, cable clamps, and large Eye screws to mount the cable. During the winter the curtains will be closed except when I need to access wood but during the summer they will be left open to allow the wood to cure.
When it is all said and done I should have at least a 4 years supply of wood well protected from the elements and easy to access.
To bring the wood in the house I have a two wheel dolly specifically made for hauling wood. I have three bags with handles specifically made for hauling wood. I fill each bag with wood and what kindling I need and stack them on the dolly and wheel them across the deck in the back door mud room where Sherry cleans the tires. I then wheel the dolly to the log rack beside the fireplace. logs go in the rack and the kindling goes in a plastic weaved basket. Any dirt, wood chips, or whatever stays in the bags and is dumped outside. The dolly and bags are stored in the lean-too. Three trips fill the rack.
Based on last years experience, a full rack gives us a three days supply of steady burning.
