Many years ago my son was going home from our house. He lived 3 hours away so he always called to let us know when he was home. He didn’t call, and didn’t call. We were pretty concerned when he finally called. He said, ” Mom, I got my first deer, a nice big buck. Unfortunately he ran in front of my car on the turnpike. Totaled the car and the game commission took the deer.”
My son was lucky, he was not hurt. God had much bigger plans for him and his wife. They are now very active in their church and help bring Gods word to many people.
This picture reminded me of that accident. I will send it to him. He will get a good laugh from it too.

Preacher and evangelist of the last century, Samuel Chadwick, said, “The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but he trembles when we pray.”
Stand firm in your belief in the Lord and let the enemy do the trembling as you pray today. Intercede for other believers and for those who hold positions of authority, for this pleases God, and you will be squarely within His will.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Just go thru cutting up a very large limb that broke off a tree on county property that is next to our fence. The fence survived thank goodness, and it is one of the limbs I asked the county to trim a year ago and they said it was fine. Power was out in our neighborhood for 7 hours , well except for ours cause we had a whole house generator installed when we built this house in 2019. Worked like a charm

Lori Vallow Daybell is scheduled to be sentenced on murder charges today. Judge Steven Boyce will sentence Daybell, 50, in a Fremont County Courtroom at 9 a.m MST.
A 12-person jury found Daybell guilty on May 12 of conspiracy to commit murder and the first-degree murder of her children, Joshua “JJ” Vallow and Tylee Ryan. She was also found guilty of grand theft and conspiracy to commit the murder of Tammy Daybell, her husband’s former wife.

On the incandescent lightbulb hunt today learned that 40w and 60w frosted are considered “food grade” and are still legal to be sold going into the future, as they are used in the food service industry; also
picked up a few today anyway so that when winter comes will have a few on hand for when the heat tape on the water line needs that extra oomph of heat on those below freezing days just in case those are also snow days so won’t have to do unnecessary driving.
