I agree. We have let our country disintegrate especially in our cities and have done little to stop it. Look at Portland Or. for example. The Antifa take over of that downtown was ongoing for several years. They locked up the city proper with their marches down the streets and destroyed property in parts of it. Yet the residents just let it all go and made the best of avoiding the problem while going about their daily routines. We allow much too much these days without striking back to preserve our way of life.
Look past the people in the videos. Look at the landscaping, the buildings, the windows, the signs on the fronts of stores, the condition of the streets, etc. Those cannot be as easily faked as you think. Yes, a good film editor can do a lot but not all. I would like to see some videos of other parts of the cities that are not so prosperous. The average people’s part of the cities. That would be much more telling of what the life is like everyday over there.

I randomly discovered a youtube channel named dan sheekoz, whose first video that I watched was a trip to the grocery store.
It was an eye opener, and I subsequently have viewed many of his and others’ videos produced by every day Russians.
In many cases, things look a lot more like America than not. In far too many cases things in cities and towns there look more like what America used to look like.
No fentanyl folders or homeless filth and crime on their streets.
Certainly there’s an underbelly, but unlike this country, they’re not rolling belly up.
Worth thinking about.
Never been to Russia, but have travelled extensively through Eastern Europe. A mostly 2nd world lifestyle in economic terms. Just about everywhere I’ve visited [10+ visits] over two decades of travel is similar to to this video. No graffiti. No trash littered streets. No fat 20-somethings. No homeless/vagrants/bums. Drinking was common, drunkenness rare. Men/women dressed to the 9’s for a night out. Never once did I fear for my safety.

The media is going to twist this to make it that Putin is starving the world because he won’t renew the grain deal. But this is fake news.
He struck a deal w/Turkey and Ukraine to allow the Odessa port be used to ship Ukrainian grain to market. But the arrangements of the deal is that the grain would largely be sold to desperate countries who need it such as in Africa. Instead, Ukraine sold it at top dollar to mostly European countries violating the deal. Turkey was authorized over the deal to escort ships out of the Black sea via safe shipping lanes de-mined by Turkey, and they were making good bank, too for these services. But the deal was violated by Ukraine just like the Minsk deals of 2013 and 2014 weren’t carried out.
The UN was to oversee the grain deal to make sure things were going by the book. Well, they weren’t. Inbound ships to Odessa to pick up grain were bringing in war materiel. Ukraine was selling grain to everyone who wasn’t on the agreed upon list. The UN oversaw nothing. So the deal expired on Mon, June 17 and Putin said he wasn’t extending it until people are committed to abiding by the original terms if the deal. The U.S. is having a conniption.
Smartly, Putin announced that because the grain deal no longer exists, there should be no reason for ships to be in port in Odessa, and if they are, Russia is assuming they are arming Ukraine. They better get the hell out of dodge.

Psychological counseling
Service members who identify as transgender may receive a waiver for grooming and uniform standards.
Service members who identify as transgender may receive an indefinite waiver for physical fitness standards. This waiver often becomes a de facto permanent situation, and the transgender identifying service member just has to renew the exemption request every six months.
Service members who identify as transgender will be considered “non-deployable” for up to 300 days while taking hormones for their “transition” period. Again, given that these hormones are often required for life, this may render the transgender identifying service member as permanently unable to deploy.
