Majewski’s loss was demonstration of this. False, misleading media report alleging that his military service was compromised by not “really being” in combat, which was therefore somehow dishonorable — regardless of the fact that he had enlisted and was serving in situations which were clearly not risk free. Doing jobs that needed doing.
McCarthy then kneecaps him by withdrawing support, which of course drew extensive media notice.
The stench of the Uniparty can no longer be borne.
McConnell funded the Democrats opposed to the MAGA candidates like Dr Oz. How on earth could Fetterman have won???
In order for McCarthy to have “withdrawn” support, wouldn’t he first had to have given it?
Majewski made it clear, after that McCarthy had “strung him along” promising support that never came, in a rant on Bannons War Room,…and he also made it clear he wasn’t the ONLY one that got this treatment.
ALL of the true MAGA Candidates got it; MTG did a similar rant on why Walker “lost” after Kemp and Rattbuger won; BECAUSE the RNC sent in operatives that took over the Walker campaign, and (to my mind, its obvious) DELIBERATELY ran it into a wall.
And, of coarse Mitch not only withheld funding from Masters in Az. but in Alaska hr actually funded the opponent of the R nominee, and the State R party censured him for it.
The whole strategy of the RNC, Mitch and Kevin was to insure no TRUE MAGA candidates won, and they were of coarse happy to have a Dem win, instead.
Hence I REALLY DO NOT trust Chip Roy, MTG, Jordan, Gaetz, or J.D. because if they got in, they are obligated to Mitch/McCarthy “leadership” and are hopelessly compromised.
Roy and Gaetz opposed McCarthy as speaker, although the former caved later on.
J.D. initially said he would oppose McConnell, but changed his tune shortly before the election.
MTG and Jordan have been McCarthy simps from the beginning.
Think JD has earned some “Cut him some slack.” Do not usually weigh in on opinions, as we all seek – in our own way – to assess what we see in a world that has nearly no trust at all.
In JD’s case, he won the primary with a bit less than a third of the vote. The swamp, to my mind, miscalculated their splitter strategy. At the end, he was under an assault by Club For Growth that approached panic. He is young, in his first office, and now calculating best next steps. There is little point in seeking now to unseat McConnell from his position – he will be in the senate long after McConnell is gone, and that project right now is without the slightest chance of success.
Rather, he is focusing on the individual action he can focus attention upon – deeply appreciate his efforts for East Palestine, and he has made some of the clearing the weeds steps that might come to fruition. Requiring colleges to take account of affirmative action court decision, accounting for weaponry/money sent to Ukraine (a war which he made no doubt about opposing when he ran), and other positive things.
He needs allies to have substantive capacity. It appears he understands that, and is setting up to undertake the task of doing that. He has materially exceeded my expectations thus far, and that is the first politician for whom I have thought that in a ludicrously long time. He is building his stature, and it could make the critical difference in the 2024 Ohio senate race, where he has already been up front endorsing Bernie Moreno.
So while I understand that some will disagree, he deserves credit and opportunity. There is a practical need to be effective, and not just complain.
Thanks for posting that, Honor. I live in NE Ohio, and totally agree. I have been pleased with Senator JD — his staff seems very sharp and responsive whenever I’ve called about a concern, and I’ve seen him take action afterwards that I was happy about.
He is one of the few who is open in his praise and support of President Trump, seems genuinely MAGA thus far, and mentions his name publicly in giving him credit for things. He seems smart and savvy, and like he is learning the ropes quickly.

I agree for the most part. However, I live in Ohio, and was happy that JD Vance got elected to the Senate. He was Trump-endorsed, and so far, he seems pretty MAGA and pro-Trump to me — and a real improvement over RINO Portman. Ohio has its problems, but we did clean up our voter rolls, and we got out of ERIC.

Never heard of it; so used search engine Startpage and this came up, it is apparently part of the US Census Bureau, must be that where you live is one of the residences on their list to survey. It does say they send out this particular survey every other year.
The question is, I thought all government agencies always say they never call, only ever make contact via the mail. Perhaps a scammer is saying they are the American Housing Survey to pry out information that is no ones business?

I found this on the US Census Bureau’s website; item #9, last paragraph clearly states “Furnishing the information is voluntary.”
The website makes reference that there is contact information for the particular survey you are being inundated with;
If it were me, and like you say they are constantly harassing you, why not compose a letter instructing them to remove your address and telephone number from their survey. That all future survey requests will be fully ignored and therefore am instructing them to no longer harass the members of your household, or something like that.
Writing them a cease and desist letter comes to mind simply because I learned a long time ago, when dealing with government, whether local, state or federal, if something is not put in writing, it never happened. Don’t know if it will work, but should be worth a try.

[The first two requests came via postcard inviting you to do an online version of the questionnaire; I didn’t because I knew it wouldn’t allow me to skip questions and still go forward.]

It happened to me exactly like you said . I got the Community Survey and it had all those warnings you stated about how it is required. So I filled it out. Then a year or 2 later got hit with the real Census one. I didn’t return it. That is when a person came to my home. I was out at the time. They left a printed note that I must complete the census online if I want and return or else, there was warnings of legal fines and possible jail etc. Yes I filled it out & retuned it.
I think I got one of those but figured it was junk mail -in the trash unopened. I should expect black helicopters soon.

I see Ray Epps is suing for defamation. The only defendant is Fox, although most of the allegations relate to Tucker Carlson. Interesting that Tucker isn’t named. I wonder if the law firm representing him (the same one that represented Dominion I think) is counting on a settlement prior to discovery. If there is discovery, things could get very interesting.
Fox is in on it to legitimize the J6 Hoax!

You cite as authority for forcing this household to answer questions Title 13, Sections 141, 193, and 221 of the U.S. Code. USC Title 13 Chapter 5 Subchapter II Section 141 (2) specifically states that [i]nformation obtained in any mid-decade census shall not be used for apportionment of Representatives in Congress among the several States, nor shall such information be used in prescribing congressional districts. Given that these are the only Constitutionally acceptable purposes of the Census, the entire survey is not only unconstitutional, but a wasteful squandering of funds unfortunately typical of our government.
Further, the questions are of a very violative, intrusive, and personal nature. They are rude. It is completely unacceptable that we have government employees who would even consider asking such things of [once free] citizens. Indeed, it is shocking. Research shows that many Americans, horrified at this warrantless effort to scrutinize innocent households, have consequently taken it upon themselves to respond with intentional inaccuracies, rendering your expensive results useless anyway.
Additionally, the purported rationale for this indefensible snooping into American lives is to help with allocation of resources, i.e., “… develop housing programs to meet the needs of people at different economic levels” and “[f]unding for many government programs is based on the answers to these questions.” These are programs which are inherently and peculiarly inappropriate for the federal government to be implementing, as well as outside the scope of the power granted to the federal government by the Constitution. That the whole point of this survey is to assist the federal government in its illegal redistribution of resources is equally objectionable.
Lastly, your letters state that this information will be “kept confidential.” No, it won’t. After the recent disclosures of our government spying on our every act as well as the numerous incidents in the last few years of government employees either mis-using or losing data and the ease with which governmental programs are hacked, it is obvious that there is no truth whatsoever to this ridiculous statement.
Government is to serve the people. Harassing the citizenry is not a service; STOP.

In conducting GOTV operations, I have talked with many who aren’t registered, don’t vote, etc.
MAYBE 5% are the “clueless boobs”; “I don’t understand/am not interested in POLITICS.”
The rest are HARDLY “clueless”; ” Republicans, Democrats, theres no DIFFERENCE. Its all RIGGED, and they are all corrupt!”
Does that sound “clueless”, or like someone who thoroughly understands the Uniparty system?
Point being, unlike lifetime voters, Dem, Rep or Indie who struggle with truly abandoning their entrenched thinking of two opposing parties, roughly 1/2 of the electorate, IS ALREADY THERE.
And attendance data from PDJT’s rallys, indicates PDJT IS appealing to some percentage of these former no vote no register Americans.
AS the united attack from both R’s and D’s (to PDJT) becomes more obvious, just the fact that both are attacking him, is going to draw their interest.
