Recall Lindseys great soundbite 2-3 minute speech, as the end of Kavanaugh hearings, when he said “I pray you never get control” (speaking to his comrades across the aisle) and then within weeks was putting forth National red-letter law legislation he “wrote” WITH those same Dems, and later did much to INSURE “THEY” would, in fact get control.
Now, fast forward to last week when Sundance posted a clip of Representative Byron Donalds, speaking at a town hall event, and said he has impressed on Speaker McCarthy that he and his MAGA Colleagues are NOT “like the Tea party R’s, that were elected promising change, but then going D.C.” That they weren’t concerned about Chairmanships and perks, or political careers, and that they would not be denied.” Paraphrasing, but you can scroll back and see his little speech, yourself.
These MAGA Representatives in the House have a conmittee for examining “weoponisation of the government”.
Two of the J6 persecuted protesters have publically asked that they be called to testify, and stated they would wave their 5th A.
Why WOULDN’T such a committee call them, if they were truly wanting to expose and address weoponisation?
We now have the DOCTORED and original footage from J6 that was used to convict them.
The REASON these committees are “toothless” in their legal fights with the administration over docs and testimony is NOT because Congress doesn’t have legal means to force compliance, its because Speaker McCarthy refuses to sign off on taking the DOJ/FBI to court to force compliance.
The reason WE aren’t seeing more J6 footage, has nothing to do with TC, its because McCarthy is blocking any release.
Hence, Byron Donalds great sounding answer at the town hall is no different that Lindseys Kavanaugh rant, all thunder, and smoke but no lightning or fire.
The most generous explanation for this “going D.C.” behavior is that the MAGA R’s simply do not have sufficient #’s to actually ACCOMPLISH anything, and will tell us “thats why you need to send me back to DC and elect MORE MAGA R’s so we can effect REAL change.”
Makes sense, except its the same thing R’S have told us,..forever and WE DON’T HAVE THAT KIND OF TIME.
The other explanation is that, despite Donalds comments, the 20/6 ARE more concerned with Committee assignments and perks (as MTG certainly seems to be) than with forcing change, even if it means they are a one term Congressman.
Either way, do NOT fit Donaldson, Gaetz, Jordan, MTG, Boerbert or any of these “MAGA R’s” in Congress for a White hat.
Certainly not based on great sounding “sound bites” where they are saying what we SO long to hear.
Focus on ACTIONS, meaningful, consequential ACTIONS.
For example, how they voted “No” on a bill that never the less passed, or “Yes” on a bill that never the less was defeated, is meaningless Kabuki theater.
Being on a committee to (for example) investigate “weoponisation” and then not go out in front of the Cameras, and publically “call out” McCarthy for hamstringing the Committee, by refusing to sign off on going to court,…more Kabuki theater, “limited hangout” investigate to exhonerate that MEANS NOTHING.
SEE the strings, otherwise you will continue to be entertained by the puppet show.

4th of July 1776 and “our” beautiful; “Declaration of Independence”
Like all the Founding documents they were, I believe, divinely inspired. These men and women risked everything for the idea of freedom and their natural rights granted to them by God.
Now, here we are 247+ years hence and what these men and women died and bled for is being threatened by installed feeble minded nitwits who are intentionally confusing something as basic as what makes a little girl, or little boy. Keep in mind the chaos is the point; these are all distractions to keep us looking in the wrong direction.
Historically in America, the seeds for the USA started in 1763 at the end of the Seven Years War (World War aka French & Indian). Then 13 years to the Declaration 1776 end of armed conflict in 1783 to the US Constitution in 1789 was 13 years, the entire turning took 26 years to break from the British Empire to a Constitutional Republic.
The same holds true where we find ourselves today on 7/4/23 and an interesting timeline to bear in mind, the (modern) Tea Party happened in 2010 is now 13 years ago. If the “past is prologue” do we have 13 more years to correct this trajectory and will it be done through will or will this get bloody?
My point, as the Founders were being challenged by a foreign power, Britain, we are again being challenged by foreign powers and foreign entanglements. For me the massive distinction being we have our Founding documents; we will either use them or lose them.
Every day, we must throw sand in the gears and resist in every way that we can. We must bring God back into the town square and pray for divine intervention as evil is running amuck again in the world and how will this be resolved? God only knows.
Heavenly Father please intercede on our behalf as a country and a people as again we are being challenged by evil. Please Lord give us guidance and provision as we face these demons and help us cast them back into darkness, in Jesus name Amen!

I saw a powerful discussion regarding CCP, in which a Chinese woman describes her parents being tortured and incarcerated by the regime, for the crime of resisting communism.
She described boys and girls with their hair cut off, dressed identically in drab sack cloths. Young women were not allowed to wear makeup. The sexes were indistinguishable.
In this way, children were forcibly removed from loving families and brainwashed to be obedient, commie slaves.

Cocaine Found at White House—D.C. Fire Crew
The U.S. Secret Service is investigating after a white powder was reportedly found at the White House on Sunday.
The substance was discovered by members of the Uniformed Division of the Secret Service conducting routine rounds through the building, Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Secret Service, told The Washington Post.
A preliminary field test indicated that the substance was cocaine, according to a dispatch from a fire crew that responded.

Apparently it was cocaine hydrochloride, supposed to be an anesthetic. This might have a much deeper implication if so. At least that is what has reported.
Perhaps a physician that reads here might explain what the difference is between straight up cocaine versus cocaine hydrochloride. Are they the same thing?

I just read an article the Phoenix AZ City Council just voted unanimously to donate 500-600 unclaimed firearms (worth roughly $200,000) to the police in Ukraine.
This is so boneheaded on so many levels, it is hard to believe.
Since when does an American city council have permission to export weapons to another country?
Will these weapons shipments be handled by the CIA? We know what kind of global murder they can facilitate.
For openers, hundreds of firearms sent to Ukraine will almost certainly be sold on the black market and result in people all over the world being killed by those donated firearms.
Many of these firearms may use ammunition calibers not widely available in Ukraine.
What will the police in Ukraine do with some American grandpa’s lever action rifle in .32-20 caliber?
Ukraine is nothing but an organized crime operation. The country is the most corrupt on Earth.
Political leaders in Africa have already reported military weapons sent to Ukraine have ended up in the hands of outlaws in Africa.

I see there is some fake
news being spread about changes to@CAGOP bylaws. The date of CA’s primary has changed to Super Tuesday, so our delegate apportionment method must also change to a proportional method, or we lose convention delegates. Our primary used to be later, allowing for a different, winner-take-all system. The Democrat governor changed the primary date, not the CAGOP. Personally, I preferred the winner take all system used for our last real convention in 2016, but RNC rules compel a different rule for earlier primaries.
This would be easy to verify by anybody who understands the system, has gone to a convention, and comprehends how to read rules. As there is a looming, RNC deadline to pass qualifying rules, we are making a change whose final wording remains to be determined by our Rules Committee and by vote of our Executive Committee, later this month.
Also, there is no plan for California Republicans to endorse in the presidential primary, and I would vigorously oppose such a plan. Republican voters must decide.
In this matter, I answer to California Republican voters, and nobody else. The fact that someone is trying to clout-chase and create drama by spreading misinformation about legally necessary rules changes, is unfortunate but predictable.

Most large/diverse “Winner-Take-Most” states from New York to Texas have “Winner-Take-All” rules for majority winners re: district and at-large delegates.
Under the CAGOP’s proposed rule changes, Trump could beat the runner-up (say, DeSantis) 60% to 21%, yet “second place” would receive roughly half as many delegates as the majority winner.
Theoretically, under certain scenarios, district delegates can absolutely be awarded to second place candidates in a manner that it significantly disproportional.
Why? Because high-population liberal centers = more district, and they will have an outsized impact on delegate allocation, i.e. Bay Area could have a bigger impact than McCarthy’s own district even though there are far more REPs in McCarthy’s district.
Come to think of it, McCarthy’s allies are actually screwing over his own voters in Bakersfield pretty badly. That said, in the PPIC and Emerson Polls, Trump was carrying all those areas anyway.
But the rule change would still minimize the delegate deficit of the runner-up candidate, and get the minority one step closer to a convention fight if they figure out a way to unbind certain delegates.

They do have to be proportional – BUT, the issue is that this proposed “proportional” system is garbage. A real proportional system means a candidate who wins 60% of the vote should take about 60% of the delegates. The proposal would have a 20% candidate take 50% of the delegates

I was reading the threads below about vote counts in 2020. I rearched this shortly after 2020 and upon reviewing state-by-state data published at the time it showed 213.7M registered voters. Anyways, regardless of eligible votes…
To me the real smoking gun is the actual voting changes between 2016 & 2020. Total votes cast went from 136.3M (2016) to 157.8M (2020). In my analysis I broke out the numbers by State, for example, CA went from 14.2M cast in 2016 to 17.5M. In total, the voter growth for all 50 States was 15.7%. Stick with me here, this is where it gets interesting:
Because CA was 66% Clinton and 33% Trump in 2016, you would ‘assume’ similar or worse ratios for Trump in 2020. In fact, if Orange Man was so bad, you would expect blue States with a 20% increase in voter engagement would make it more likely to be a 70/30 split in 2020. In fact, the exact opposite occured.
In the top three blue States (NY, CA, IL) even with a 19% higher voter turnout, Trump GAINED share vs. 2016. In the bluest of blue States, Trump gained percent of voters- why is that? He was never going to win these States anyways, hence there was no need for Dems to cheat in NY, CA or IL. These three States are 22% of the US population.
Applying the same logic (voter growth by State 2016 vs. 2020) Trump would have held the key swing States, but in fact the opposite occurred. For all red States that Trump won in 2016 by 56%/44% Joe Biden needed to flip all new votes cast in 2020 to 48% Trump / 52% Biden.
So let me get this right:
1) In blue States NY, CA, IL which lean heavily left and HATE Trump, he GAINED share of votes versus 2016.
2) In red-meat States throughout the country where people love MAGA, Trump somehow lost share, and not just in the swing States.
So, to recap – in blue States where people hate Trump and cheating wasn’t needed he gained share. In red States where people love Trump and massive cheating was required, massive cheating was delivered.
Thank you — So important for all to know, in addition when the heck did all six swing states EVER call for A SHUT DOWN AT 11 PM AND TO START up again in the AM? NEVER!!! So why are none of our so called Republicans/Conservatives SCREAMING from the mountaintop that the election WAS RIGGED/MISHANDLED — FRAUD!!!! But no, crickets. TRUMP WON — no doubt!!

This was mainly due to the mailing out of ballots thanks to Covid. People who would never vote in person before, although registered, found it easy to just put the ballot in the mailbox.
That is one reason always overlooked as to why Biden won. This was prevalent in blue states, or red states with corrupt Secretaries of State.
There are a couple of states which have been mail-in ballot only for years, in my case, decades. Examining those numbers and comparing to census numbers would IMO be quite interesting. I know it was for Oregon. Everyone there votes by mail, though there are drop kiosks in larger cities. There are no polls.
@Dunes – the Oregon data shows top of ticket (Presidential) voters went from 1.8M (2016) to 2.3M (2020) so a 500k vote gain is a pretty big increase of 28%. Unfortunately, the new votes added trended 34% for Trump and 66% for Biden and Oregon became a little bit more liberal than it already was.
