Good question. Maybe the biggest issue is whether China would sit by (though they seem to be focused on Taiwan right now). The other countries are smaller/less powerful except for India. I don’t think India would initiate something, but really have no idea. I also wonder how India plans to get along with China because of their long history of conflict.
Another question is how will Russia get along with China because Russia has as many differences with China as they do with our captured government.
I keep wondering what our President will do to sort this out (and of course the fact that BRICS is not to our benefit in terms of the dollar, but maybe the dollar will be destroyed by the time he is re-elected so it will be a whole new world).
Honestly, any time someone says Joe Biden was in charge of doing something like this is pretty hard to believe. The man has the mental capabilities of a clam. But that’s a helluva lot different than IRS agents being sent to take guns from people, which did *not* happen in this incident. It probably *WILL HAPPEN* some time in the future, though.

Having spent 29 years in law enforcement, and another 5 years prior to that as a corporate accountant, I think there may be a plausible explanation for taking the 4473s.
The 4473s could serve as supporting documentation to sales transactions.
Assuming there is some sort of tax fraud case, the 4473s could help forensic accountants piece together a more complete picture of the store’s financial operations.
It’s like putting together a jigsaw puzzle.
The more pieces you have, the better the picture.
For example, if I found 100 4473s, for a given period, and just 50 reported gun sales, I would want to know what happened to the other 50.
I might contact the customers and ask them about what they purchased and see if it corroborates what the store reported as having sold.
Kinda like if the IRS were to go to the book publishers the Biden’s claim to have made millions from and demand to see the sales numbers, orders from booksellers etc, to see if they could, forensically, piece together a more complete picture of the Biden pay to play scam. /s

If the surveillance video footage I viewed is real, and I did my math right, the relatively instantaneous deflagration of over a billion BTU’s of energy would provide both a heat component and a concussive component, and of substantive quantity. The video showed a deflagration consistent with a large quantity of gasoline combusting in open air.
It appears the bridge sections were constructed of steel I beam or H beam encased partially or totally in concrete. Usually, such sections of bridges have slip joints to allow expansion and contraction at their abutments.
My personal experience with such structural members has been limited to fabricating, welding and cambering beams, mostly for industrial purposes. I use heat to camber beams; for example, putting a upward bow in bridge crane beams that carry substantial loads. Heat has interesting, but predictable, effects on steel structures.
However, in this case that is complicated by heat’s effects on concrete, as well as the bridge design itself. Lastly, it was hard to tell from the video exactly how the truck/tanker impacted the abutments and the dispersed energy pattern.
It could have been nefarious; it could’ve been an accident. Given the importance of the 95 corridor, I’m not surprised at the rapid response, demolition and construction. I remember when a flash flood took out both the north and southbound bridges on I-5 in central CA, the Corps and Cal Trans moved in immediately and set up a temporary bridge made from railroad flatcars. Threw it up in less than a week if memory serves. Major artery, do what needs to be done.

I was ruminating last night on the Narrative and where we see it crop up, especially to weaponize compassion with “feel good” stories and “do it for someone else” stories, and thinking about . . . The push over the last several decades on normalizing organ donation.
Now, I’m not saying that there are not actual good stories about organ donations that save lives, but the number of young accident victims whose healthy organs go to save 7 people is a relatively rare occurrence.
Why the Narrative push? Get a driver’s license and you get to register to vote (we understand that one now, with the Dominion Systems algorithms etc), and also you get put a little organ donor decal on that license.
Not unlike getting a vax card. Same feel.
It is just that the Narrative normalizes putting systems in place to do nefarious things in plain sight? So no one asks why that guy who looks a lot like Dick Cheney is being wheeled into the surgical suite or inquires exactly where that heart originated?

Regarding the impatience with the pace of the Russian intervention:

That the Ukrainians are somehow “winning”, despite no signs of advances after largely symbolic, and incredibly costly, offensives that looked primarily like Russian strategic withdrawals from vulnerable forward positions. Withdrawals that were handled so skillfully that almost no Russian troops were lost, while the Ukrainians had entire brigades wrecked as they moved into territory heavily covered by Russian artillery fire.
But even the stenographer press is smelling a turd. Hints of a much different, grimmer reality are now regularly nestled in otherwise cheerleading, Pollyanna-ish pieces: that the Ukrainians are suffering massive losses, are heavily overmatched in equipment and ammunition supplies, and are increasingly reduced to sending old men and the barely trained to the front lines.
This train wreck was long predicted, and the obvious outcome of choosing to fight Russia with an overmatched proxy adjacent to the Russian heartland. Any unbiased assessment of the strategic and tactical wisdom of this effort would have judged it as disastrously ill-conceived. A quixotic, clearly unwinnable quest that was guaranteed to end in Ukrainian defeat, and an eventual settlement that leaves Ukraine minus even more Russian leaning regions, even more economically and militarily crushed. A crippled rump of a state that will be completely dependent on continual Western economic support.
For anyone willing to look beyond Western hopium and copium reporting, and to use non-fairy tale based logic, the ever accelerating shredding of the Ukrainian military is obvious. A simple assessment based on the clearly stated, yet completely ignored, goals of the Russian operation makes this clear.
The primary goal of the operation is to demilitarize Ukraine- not to take the entirety of the country. Other than an early gambit to threaten Kiev and panic the Zelensky government into a quick settlement, the overriding goal has been to smash the Ukrainian military. Conditioned by a shockingly militarily ignorant and biased Western MSM to expect a quick “Shock and Awe” beatdown a la Iraq, the slow destruction of the Ukrainian forces has been mischaracterized as a “stalemate.”
I actually would have had some respect for the Bidenistas if Joe addressed the American people, made a real case for stopping Putin and sent a massive US military presence there to drive him back to Moscow in fairly short order. But all this nebulous, unspecified “Putin Bad” crap from this regime as they cavalierly flush billions of tax dollars down the crapper – a good chunk of which is washed and returned – is the most reckless, feckless and cowardly thing I’ve ever seen.
In no way shape or form do I feel a direct conflict with either superpower is a good idea unless it directly impacts our survival.
Shame on them.

Looking back over the past two years, it must be very unsettling for the trolls of today.
For the past two years they were sent over to sit on a tree branch and create “fear, uncertainty and despair” amongst the MAGA/America First patriots.
It was easy at first but lately it is they who are leaving at the end of day with a sense of “fear, uncertainty and despair.”
They now see that the MAGA movement has the numerical, economic, moral, intellect and armed majorities in America and for sure the best leader, President Trump.
