We had someone in my family who was prescribed an antidepressant by his physician for his rarer form of dementia.
It helped him noticeably.
Doctors over prescribe these medications, getting on them is the problem. Your best agenda is to stay away from most medications. Depression in America is a joke anyway, it’s a luxury for the lazy. And I understand clinical depression, people have chemical imbalances but…..your going to add a pharmaceutical companies remedy? The same ones who brought you all these wonderful vaccines of late? The little dirty secret is, there is no money in curing people.
We are in a very strange time folks, doctors are nothing more than drug pushers and the latest greatest is handed to them to be prescribed by a salesmen, a hot chick in a tight dress or a dude bearing gifts of donuts and scotch. When a drug recognized as a ‘miracle drug’ by modern medicine, is banned from use by governments and doctors, people should step back. Ivermectin is for parasites and cures all kinds of diseases, what does that tell you?
Maybe ivermectin for these liberals with purple hair screaming about Trump, they seem to be wormy. A good worming would do us all good. I say that in jest but spring worming used to be a must, preventive medicine.

Sometimes, strong individuals get down at times, that’s normal. They rely on their own natural resources and not chemicals, weed or alcohol. They do bounce back and thrive. They aren’t lazy !

None of this is medical advice. I am not a medical professional, just a former patient that has done research into their use and successfully (with 100% doctor awareness and approval) tapered off of venlafaxine [Effexor] (SSRI/SNRI), which is apparently considered a very difficult medication to come off of.
But, in some countries, parts of India being the circumstance that I have personal knowledge of — anti-depressants like SSRIs/SNRIs are commonly prescribed as “acute” treatment, not a maintenance medication. In other words, you take it for a course of treatment, like an antibiotic, and then you’re done. The medicine treats an acute period of depression and then the medication is stopped and your brain resumes normal function without the drug.
Now, that somewhat goes against the way I was told that these drugs work on the brain. I was told you need to be on them for a few weeks to feel maximum effect, though in my case I felt much improved within 12 hours. Yet, they do prescribe them for a short-term, “acute” treatment, in some countries, and it apparently works well enough in enough people for this dosing practice to continue there.
In my case, I grew concerned about the long-term effects of being on the medication, as well as the potential for supply chain problems to make it difficult to obtain under certain circumstances, and decided to try getting off of it. I was on it for more than 10 years. And yet, to my surprise, I actually felt better as I came off of them, slowly tapering down, again under doctor supervision. It was not without a few days of feeling “under the weather”, but it was not unbearable in the slightest.
I was prepared to stop and/or reverse at any point if it was needed, and talked with family that I am around on a regular basis to help me assess if I had any negative effects that I might not have awareness of, from reducing and finally stopping the medicine.
If I ever had to go on a medication like that again, I would do so with a doctor that was willing to let me first try a short course of it. In our part of the world, not all doctors would feel comfortable with this. It goes against the way they’re taught and the way the drugs are FDA labeled for use.
In my opinion, the drug-makers have successfully convinced the medical profession, for financial and not medical reasons, that these drugs only work in a maintenance (i.e. take every day for a long time or even forever) manner. I think the truth may be different, at least for some patients/circumstances.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It appears to me that for most in the medical profession the Hippocratic oath has become a “thing” you say so you can call yourself a doctor. “Do no harm” has become “do prescribe drugs for any and every ailment.”
When you have “doctors” forcing pregnant women, children, or anyone else for that matter, to take drugs where the long term affects are untested and unknown, you know you have a huge problem.
Just to correct the record, i do not believe any medical professional is required to actually “take” the hypocratic oath, I sure wasn’t and as a paramedic, i had plenty of opportunity to do harm.
What WAS drilled into me, and all medical professionals was “CYA” as in Cover Your Ass, and it extended to cover the ass of your employer, and the medical profession as a whole.
I clearly remember the 1 hour lecture by a nurse, on how to CYA with regard to “medical informed consent”, violating both the spirit and letter of the law, but in such a way you could not be held legally to have violated it, and how none of my class mates even noticed, or had any problem with it.
No, the Hypocraties oath is NOT something taught in med school, it went the way of “opening a vein, to let out the bad humours”
Ah yes, it is always wise to CYA. For many in the medical industry their CYA of choice is usually versed. Too bad most people don’t realize what it does and are often very confused post procedure as they don’t remember anything..

Thats why the are cutting the use of short term use drugs like Xanax, adivan and all the old time drugs that are non addictive. Instead of allowing the real deal natural opium they have created synthetic opiate drugs that are very addictive and have created a patent on. Kratom is a natural pain /anxiety substance from leaves of certain plant that the FDA is in the process of banning access to the public. I believe The FDA and CDC have kept many cures from the public even though they have been developed. They are reserved for use by the select few. Look how that famous SCOTUS justice survived 4 bouts with cancer. One being pancreatic which is always fatal in short order. My personal experience with joint shots for arthritis pain was that the true pain numbing substance in the shots was lidocaine not the steroid. So I researched CDC studies to see if they ever studied long term use of lidocaine only injections for joints. They have and stopped the studies after 2 successful study results. They did not continue the studies to the needed phase to approve…what does that tell you? Further research showed that they were afraid that because the relief was so successful being able to use the joint more would result in further deterioration….Never mind this will happen anyway…with all the pain.

If you read the research papers of those who first ‘discovered/developed ‘ SSRI’S, its clear they INTENDED them to be, just as you say, a SHORT-TERM intervention of an acute condition, the analogy THEY used was like a cast for a broken bone, and they emphasised in their research papers, that they did NO research on the effects of long term use.
In addition, at the time they were first introduced, if a MEDICAL Dr., with one semester of one coarse in psychology encountered patient with depression, they would REFER them to a mental health dr, (get their “kickback” from that mental health pro) and the professional would detirmine if the patient would benefit from counseling, or if they needed these medications to stabilise them SO THAT they could respond to, and benefit from the counseling, or if (in a small # of cases) they were a danger to self or others, and required voluntary or involuntary commitment to again stablise them while the underlieng issues were addressed.
Obviously, Big pharma pushed for the changes, where now we have medical Drs totally unqualified to diagnose or treat mental health prescribing potent psychotropic medications.
Have a friend that was misdiagnosed as “psychopath/sociopath” as a result of TEMPORARY depression. They had him on 7-8 strong medications for 10 years, including ones that it is in the warnings are NOT for long term use, as they damage the liver, kidneys and endochrine (hormone ) system.
His requests for help in ‘weaning off’ were shut down, as “just part of your mental illness” and so he did it gradually, on his own.
Went from homeless to succesfully running his own business, in 2 1/2 years.

In Oklahoma last week a man who pleaded insanity for murder was convicted of first degree murder by a jury. He mixed his (ADHD)Adderall with Meth & shot his neighbor 10 times. I knew the victim – a wonderful father of three boys.
It’s a hard thing to deal with experiencing someone you knew that was murdered. My next door was shot to death at her door by her ex one night when I lived in another state.
40 years ago, I myself was shot at by someone who had a beef with me. It was a long range attempt with a .22 rifle which I heard whiz by my ear but didn’t realize at the time what had happened. He later shot and killed a random jogger, and has remained in jail since. He never showed any remorse and that’s why every time he goes to the parole board he is denied.
When I learned of that murder, I knew right away it was him who shot at me.

The concept of chemical imbalances causing behavioral issues has been immensely overplayed. While there may be extreme cases where brain chemistry is the primary cause of psychiatric issues, the vast majority of what is diagnosed as depression or behavioral issues is rooted in how people have been conditioned to react to the stresses of daily life. Get right with your spiritual side, and 90% of the time the symptoms of behavioral issues would disappear overnight. Prescribed drugs do nothing for the root cause, and the side effects are incredibly destructive.

As has been discussed elsewhere on this site, my wife and I are seeing groups of HISPANIC young adult males in Walmart buying shopping carts full of food. They speak only Spanish.

Common food items, such as salted butter, are wiped out. Toilet paper aisles are depleted.
These invaders are being given smart phones, at U.S. taxpayer expense, when they trespass, and are obviously being handed debit cards to buy whatever they want. They travel on buses and airliners at OUR expense to any location in OUR country. They stay in hotels at U.S. taxpayer expense.
Is this how we American seniors will spend our remaining years, fighting with invaders who have no business flooding the streets of America?

I agree with you that we are responsible and each of us needs to act in the areas where we can be effective; we need to educated people, and we need to get better at pushing Congress to do more. But getting President Trump elected will make everything easier as well. It is a target that is in front of us right now and that can produce a huge benefit, which was the reason for my comment. If you have better uses of your time to improve things, my advice is go for it! The important thing is to get active.

Reagan had his first taste of this a few months before the strike, when he was serving on the executive committee of the Hollywood Independent Citizens Committee of Arts, Sciences and Professions (HICCASP), which he had joined in 1944. The group boasted a membership roll including Frank Sinatra, Orson Welles and Katharine Hepburn. It was what they called a “brainy group,” too, with Albert Einstein and Max Weber lending their name to the organization. It was the usual liberal/left Hollywood cultural group, concerned about atomic weapons, the resurgence of fascism and the burgeoning Cold War. But some were concerned by what they saw as its regular and consistent support for the Soviet position on international issues.
Historian Arthur Schlesinger Jr. declared in Life magazine that he believed it was a Communist front, an organization in which “its celebrities maintained their membership but not their vigilance.”
Stung by this criticism, a small group within HICCASP, including RKO executive Dore Schary, actress Olivia de Havilland, and FDR’s son James Roosevelt, decided to put their fellow members to the test. At the July 2, 1946, meeting, Roosevelt noted that HICCASP had many times issued statements denouncing fascism. Why not issue a statement repudiating communism? Surely that would demonstrate that the organization was not wholly communist.
Reagan rose quickly and offered his support for the resolution, and a furious verbal battle quickly erupted. Musician Artie Shaw stood up and declared that the Soviet Union was more democratic than the United States and offered to recite the Soviet constitution to prove it. Writer Dalton Trumbo stood up and denounced the resolution as wicked. When Reagan tried to respond, John Howard Lawson waved a menacing finger in his face and told him to watch it. Reagan and the others in his group resigned from the organization.
Sorrell gathered his resources for the fight. Along with financial support from the Communist Party, he also could count on help from Vincente Lombardo Toledano, head of Mexico’s largest union and described in Soviet intelligence files as an agent. The slender, well-dressed and poised young lawyer was one of Moscow’s most trusted agents in Mexico, regularly putting his resources behind Sorrell, providing money while pressuring Mexican film industry executives not to process any film from Hollywood as a show of solidarity. He also appeared at a rally in Hollywood to encourage the strikers.
Herb Sorrell had promised violence if he didn’t get his way in the studio strike, and it didn’t take him long to deliver. Led by his “sluggers,” strikers smashed windshields on passing trains and threw rocks at the police. One studio employee went to the hospital after acid was thrown in his face. When the police tried to break up the melee, things got even worse. As actor Kirk Douglas remembered it, “Thousands of people fought in the middle of the street with knives, clubs, battery cables, brass knuckles and chains.”
Sorrell and his allies wanted to shut down the studios entirely, so anyone who crossed the picket line became a target of violence. Jack Warner insisted on keeping up production, and the studio remained open. To avoid injury, workers, including stars who were shooting movies, were forced to sneak into the studio lot through a storm drain that led from the Los Angeles River.
Reagan, getting ready to start production on “Night Unto Night,” was furious about the violence. And unlike his approach to the little battle with the Communists in HICCASP, he was not in a mood to retreat.
Blaney Matthews, the giant-sized head of security at Warner Brothers, had seen this sort of violent strike before. He advised Reagan and other stars to use the storm drain to get onto the lot safely. Reagan flat-out refused. If he was going to cross the picket line, he was going to cross the picket line, he told Matthews.
Matthews then arranged for buses to shuttle Reagan and a few others through the human gauntlet outside the studio gate. But he offered a bit of advice: Lie down on the floor, or you might get hit by a flying Coke bottle or rock. Again, Reagan refused. Over the next several days, as he went to the studio lot to attend preproduction meetings, a bus would pass through the human throng of violent picketers, with a solitary figure seated upright inside.” …….

The US has said that it would not provide long distance missiles to Ukraine because Britain was going to do so. The British sent their air-to-air Storm Shadow missiles with the understanding that they would not be used to attack Russia or to hit civilian targets.
Last night, Ukraine fired Storm Shadow missiles at the Milam meat processing plant and a Polypak polymer products plant, hitting many nearby residential buildings. Several civilians were injured including 6 children. Both industrial sites were civilian enterprises not involved in war supply.

Ya, the jury is still out on what happens when you cook the meat.. Does the spike protein break down or is it resilient enough to stick around afterwards.
We have all sorts of scientists on our side that could test this now.. however I think the scare tactic is kind of being used by both sides.. It’s obviously worth more in profit to promote treatments on both sides than it is to actually test this out and provide any findings.

I saw somewhere, can’t remember where, that 15 minutes at 158F will denature the mRNA. This is line with proteins being denatured (rendered inoperable) at 160F, the temperature to cook meat, so I think it’s reasonable.
The milk that the Chinese used to vaccinate the mice was at room temperature or colder, the mRNA was not denatured.
My bacon is cooked until it is absolutely crispy. That’s more than 158F, and chemical reaction time doubles every 10C, or 18F, so the five minutes it’s cooked at near the boiling point of water should do the trick.

But the problem is also money. For example Dave Walsh was on War Room this morning describing what seems to be the stupidity of the power companies as they plan the future. They are planning changes that will cost us much more money for much less power in the future. Why? Because they will make more money. Why? Because the “government” is offering huge government subsidies.
And of course government subsidies are our money. So we will end up paying for the elites to make a lot of money for new power systems that we will pay a lot more to use and that will give less service.
So the answer is to elect President Trump so he can cut off the subsidies and also incentivize “the system” so the power companies make money in a way that is advantageous to us.
This principle is true for anything the “government” is doing. We must elect President Trump.
The best thing any of us can do now is find ways we can help out President Trump back in office. Even a small thing like sharing information is a way to help.
In terms of individuals who don’t see what is happening, I think it is they grew up trusting experts and authority and also fear because it is terrifying to realize you are nothing but money to the powers that be and otherwise you are a “useless eater.”
We need to show these individuals that President Trump is our future where we can once again have a life. He has proven he can do it and we need to broadcast that.

Plenty of people did in fact rip off the government with the CARES Act. Every single one of them should go to prison. IMHO that was a foolish act to start with, but that’s not what’s at issue here — the issue is a Congressional Candidate who, it appears, stole taxpayer money.
Contrast this with the indictment against Trump, which is predicated on twisting facts to evade the Statute of Limitations and turn what would otherwise be a misdemeanor into a felony. They couldn’t be more different, in my view.
