Another poster here at CTH dismissed my comment by saying: “we cannot vote our way out of this.” Actually… yes, we can IF we can have secure, trustworthy, authentic elections, which is also the proper constitutional way to do it.
Certainly, there are significant, almost insurmountable, other corruption and political weaponization problems inside the federal (and most state) bureaucracies BUT voting is the beginning of changing that and ultimately removing and prosecuting corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.
I have always been willing to accept my candidate losing an election. I dont like it and am sad about it. But, I am only willing to accept it IF I know, and CAN trust, that our elections are honest and authentic. They no longer are.
We The People have few powers and the most important one is … our vote. We have all now been effectively disenfranchised.
We need Trump to publically address this issue in general terms — explain what the problems are with our new, dramatically altered election system.
I truly believe that if Americans were reminded of HOW different and changed our election system is now from what has been for over 200 years AND that mail-in ballots are NOT permitted in most other nations, the blinders would fall off the eyes of many millions more Americans.
WHERE and HOW are these 10s of millions of mail-in ballots stored and secured, for weeks, before they are counted? ANYONE who thinks about this simple, reasonable question… will realize immediately that NO ONE– no media, no politicians, no govt officials, etc., ever address this glaringly serious issue.
They are stored in Pandora’s box.
Given the low support for Biden, now is exactly the time to do that. My guess is impeachment and removal will happen to Biden sooner rather than later. They will sneak someone else in.

No. Frank Marshall Davis was his father and is almost identical to him. He was a US American and as such is a US citizen. It’s pretty disgusting that at almost no point in time did Obama use his correct name but that’s not a constitutional limitation. Trump found this out and dropped the whole thing when he did. All of the fairy tales about Obama’s birth are irrelevant. For me, at least, the matter is settled.
That said, I believe the constitution requires an amendment related to anti-constitutional ideology and/or violations of the constitution by any government member or contractor and especially as it relates to any elected office Federal, State or local.
It’s one thing to debate over how a policy is good or bad. When politicians and government employees vocally speak out against the constitution which, in most cases, they are honor bound to support and defend, or create law which is directly repugnant to the constitution, they should be met with a non-negotiable invitation to leave.
It’s time for the SCOTUS not only to rule on the constitutionality of things, they should also issue orders for the removal of at least the most obvious of offenders. Take the New York legislators for example: Creating laws which are unconstitutional and then have the SCOTUS strike them down followed by even more unconstitutional laws which fail the constitutionality test in exactly the same ways. SCOTUS should be able to strike down the politicians in addition to the laws.
I think the only sensible reply to demands such as this is “Talk to the hand”

GGGG…: I am a CA employer. The state has defaulted many times on federal unemployment loans and CA employers get stuck with elevated unemployment surchages to pick up the tab. I have complained to legislators, but, for some reason, nothing happens.

You read the WSJ article that came out yesterday? At 1 to 2 mil each, the payments would be 3 times the current CA annual budget (the whole cost to run the CA!!!!!).
An “economist” on the reparations panel said the least of his concerns was the cost, lol. These people are crazy.
The article mentions that CA was admitted as a free state and these payments would be for what CA didn’t do and could’ve done to reduced the “oppression”.
This is all a joke in my opinion. CA can’t print money, I’m sure a Dem administration would “lend” it to them.
I did a quick search, about 6% of CA is black and 1 in 20 black people in the US live in CA or 0.5% – just another issue to divide people on that will never come to fruition.
I’m surprised those of Chinese descent aren’t clamoring for their cut since so many, what were they called? coolies?, built the railroads, the cities, did the dirty work that built many cities in California. Now that would be a clash – black on chinese – worth watching unfold.

It makes for some pretty amazing sounding ‘conversations’ between them and our young great pyrenese guardian dog.
It began with her barking at a predator bird, which is her job, but now that the babies have hatched, bringing a regular series of feeding choruses to herald each feeding, she has a new vocalization that’s not like anything I’ve heard before.
It’s not quite a howl, it’s not a typical sounding bark, and not as loud as a predator alert. It’s somewhat muffled and sounds more owl like with each passing night.
They call back and forth, and then it’s quiet again.

It just struck me that Ron DeSantis is using millions of Florida tax payer dollars ($2.8 million at last count) to deny the free speech rights of a private company or to punish them financially for their speech. I am horrified at the views of Disney. But they have a right to their views, to criticize government. The government has no right to change conditions of an agreement made with Disney in the past or to take over any aspect of running a private company.
That’s why you know that this is just a PR stunt. Anything that is done to Disney will be struck down by federal courts.
He’s also threatening the other businesses and residents who live in the Orlando area with toll roads etc. That doesn’t punish Disney it punishes Floridians who already have crap roads/traffic in greater Orlando with increased costs and inconvenience.

A: Often one can find information on the internet, although it does take a bit of digging around. My GI is quite young and Indian (subcontinent, not Native American). He co-authored quite a few research articles in connection with my particular malady, and I realized he’s one of the few who thinks outside of the traditional box. Moreover, he’s willing to practice outside of the traditional medical box. In short, I “shopped around” and chose my specialist, rather than allowing the medical conglomerate to just randomly assign me. I do this with every specialist, even primary care docs, before making an appointment. It’s really worth the time.
When healthcare is completely nationalized you won’t be able to shop around. You will get whoever you are assigned. Sure, there maybe some concierge docs out there, but they will be for our masters. Private hospitals, too. Doubt we’ll be allowed in.

Frankly, before 2020 I would have told you that those who opposed childhood vaccinations were kooks. I dismissed their objections and the likes of RFK Jr. It seemed impossible to me that what was being asserted was worth considering. Covid forced us all to sit down and pay attention. I read RFK Jr’s book which contains some kooky stuff but also contains stunning information that puts the onus on the CDC/NIAID to refute.
