‎4/‎19/‎2023 – Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.

Leviticus 18:24-25 “Defile not you yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: and the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomits out her inhabitants.”

Ecclesiastes 8:11 “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.”

Habakkuk 2:1-4 “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”

1. “Defile not you yourselves in any of these things:” Chapter 18 of Leviticus specifically names a multitude of sexual sins that are the reason why they are sentenced to utter destruction; and further declares, that even the earth is so disgusted because of them, that “the land itself vomits out her inhabitants.” Yet even to this day, scarcely a Christian church in the whole of America has got enough fear of God, or hatred for impurity, to dare to tell this country what are their sins, and why God has given sentence to destroy it. But to our shame, flagrant immorality is made “popular culture” and anyone who speaks out against it is mocked and despised. The antichrist conspiracy that has decimated the moral character of this once God-fearing nation, is still held onto with fond feelings of an idolatrous and adulterous generation. That is why we have the kind of people in the seat of power in this country, and in the Western European countries; because God has judged us for our sin and uncleanness, and for adultery and betrayal of His holy Covenant with us through the blood of Jesus.

2. “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” The world has a true saying, for this kind of evil indifference; Taking kindness for weakness.” Time goes by, they continues to sin against their conscience until it is completely dead to any feeling, and nothing seems to change in the world; the heavens remain silent, and the sinner lives out his days in indulgence and wealth, with no accountability. Do any of these things make the word of God of none affect? If God, in His goodness, sees it as right; if a man chooses to take his portion in life, and to care nothing for his soul and eternity; to let him have what he wants; how does that make the day of reckoning no longer a fact? Proverbs 14:16 “A wise man fears, and departs from evil: but the fool rages, and is confident.”

3. “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” As the Lord’s servants and watchmen, we must ensure that we are always ready in the Spirit; keeping awake, and on the look out, as those who are charged with keeping the city. As the Lord’s subordinates and under sacred oath to sanctification and honor; we must have a perfect heart with Him, and continually maintain a clean account, as those who dwell in His Presence. It must be, as long as we are in this tabernacle, that we must be continually corrected and reminded and exhorted, to live in the Spirit, and walk in the Spirit. Any kind of resentful attitude or Petulance; (having an unreasonable, childish bad temper over things unimportant;) when the Lord who loves us, and is seeking to grow us up into His image and likeness, and from time to time must chastise us, in order for us to be healed, and grow right; constitutes us eventually rather, to be the bad that has to be discarded, and not the good that is kept as God’s precious treasure.

4. “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time.” We are the Lord’s witnesses, that the Father has sent Him into the world; and that He has finished the work that He gave Him to do. The grace and truth wrought in us, is what the Holy Spirit uses to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. We are the Epistles of Christ, known and read of all men; and whether they hear or forbear, they shall know, that a prophet has been among them, and that God has been faithful to still hold out His hand in friendship and reconciliation; even if the whole world despises and rejects that hand. We are His Ambassadors of reconciliation; and Jesus has given us the words of His authority, to either remit men’s sins, or to retain them; based on whether they receive our words.

5. “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” God has made everything perfect in its time; and He has placed His matters veiled from our sight and concealed in eternity. So has He done in righteousness, with regard for His mercy upon all of us; that we should not have more demanded upon us, than we are able to bear in this present condition. What God has spoken, is; and He only waits for the times to come to pass, in order for everything to come to the full. Those things that are revealed, are so that we knowing, should keep and do His commandments. The things that He has kept hidden from our view, are the things of eternity and in His Presence; for which we can only once be made fit, and be granted life; or being found unfit, can only be cast away as bad to be burned.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made every thing beautiful in His time: also He has set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God make from the beginning to the end.” 

6. And in conclusion, “Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.” How are we to survive the time of our life in this world? Most believe that they make their own lives, by their pride and hard work, etc. But what is our life? Our first duty is to give account of ourselves to God, and to bring Him the offering for our life. When we are of the truth, we will come to the light of God’s in order for our entire selves to be manifested before God; so that the parts that are wrong and bad, can be judged and take away, as unworthy of God, and unfit for His Presence. Pride does not make right, no matter how loud it gets, or how violently it bursts out. What will prove to be our substance, worth saving and precious to God, is that we are of the truth, and believe His word. Pride hides from the truth because it is idolatry and unclean, and knows that it will be ashamed and have nothing to defend itself in the Presence of God. We do not rely on how we want others to esteem us, or even of how we imagine ourselves to be; but we rely on Jesus’ Name and blood for all our claim to mercy and life and acceptance with God.

John 3:17-18 “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he ha not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God.”

The apostle Paul wrote his letter to Christians in Colossae while never having met them face to face. 

While imprisoned in Rome, he received reports that the little gathering of believers was struggling. They were being bombarded by local ministers, teaching error, diluting the deity of Jesus Christ, and attempting to lead them to believe Jesus was not God in the flesh.

Paul used his pen to sharply respond: “see to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit according to human tradition… for in Him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily and you have been filled in Him who is the head of all rule and authority” (Colossians 2:8-10). 

The spirit of error is still at work today, and the world has developed a multitude of explanations for the identity of Jesus Christ. Yet, there is only one truth presented in God’s word, “This Jesus… has become the cornerstone. … There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:11-12). 

Paul knew that standing firm upon the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ would rescue that little church. The bond of fellowship and love between God and man, and believer to believer, is built through faith in the truth. Pray for churches in America to be strong against those who try to dilute or deny the identity of Jesus Christ.

Ask that God’s people across the globe will stand strong in their faith in Christ, resisting error and proclaiming His truth to the world.

CAN A SAINT SLANDER GOD?
 
“For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen.” 2 Cor. i. 20
 
Jesus told the parable of the talents recorded in Matthew xxv. as a warning that it is possible for us to misjudge our capacity. This parable has not to do with natural gifts, but with the Pentecostal gift of the Holy Ghost. We must not measure our spiritual capacity by education or by intellect; our capacity in spiritual things is measured by the promises of God. If we get less than God wants us to have, before long we will slander Him as the servant slandered his master: “You expect more than You give me power to do; You demand too much of me, I cannot stand true to You where I am placed.” When it is a question of God’s Almighty Spirit, never say “I can’t.” Never let the limitation of natural ability come in. If we have received the Holy Spirit, God expects the work of the Holy Spirit to be manifested in us.
 
The servant justified himself in everything he did and condemned his lord on every point – “Your demand is out of all proportion to what you give.” Have we been slandering God by daring to worry when He has said: “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”? Worrying means exactly what this servant implied – “I know You mean to leave me in the lurch.” The person who is lazy naturally is always captious – “I haven’t had a decent chance,” and the one who is lazy spiritually is captious with God. Lazy people always strike out on an independent line.
 
Never forget that our capacity in spiritual matters is measured by the promises of God. Is God able to fulfil His promises? Our answer depends on whether we have received the Holy Spirit.

Good morning all.

It is amazing how quickly Buckley has bonded. He sleeps at night next to me with he head on my leg, or if he is too warm, splayed out on his back.

This morning I just had Geisha and Buckley out to do their business. When we got ready to come back in there was Gabby the cat at the security door looking out as she always does. And as I opened the door Buckley squeezed by her first just as Geisha does. And there was no hissing or spitting!

Buckley now has a little cough. He has sneezed some from the beginning but this morning is the first time I have heard a cough.

PLEASE PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
