Although I am not a politician or work in any government capacity, I was a born and raised Democrat all my life as were the majority of my family for generations. I walked away in 2008 because of Obama, and have never looked back. I held my nose and voted for John McCain just to get Sarah Palin. When Donald Trump rode down that escalator in 2016 and said everything that I was thinking, I was hooked on MAGA!
I have several family members that are now Republicans as well as several friends that voted for Trump twice. We shake our heads at how stupid we all were to buy into the Democrat lies. Our eyes were opened to what horrible people they truly are. I believe a lot of Democrats did this in 2016 and many more are doing it now in 2023 as the Dems keep up their radical behavior. I pray these new converts will be exactly like I am! MAGA all the way!!!

He also offers an interesting balance to the Dems in that he may have the ability to pull some of the ‘Woke’ back into the fold. I would not be too quick to dismiss him. Being a Catholic will still carry some weight, as well, in the Catholic Church… especially after the recent news on how the current administration has been planting their ‘spies’ in congregations. Plus, he hates the CIA and considers them a ‘Mafia’ gang because they killed his dad and uncle. The Kennedy family carries a lot of weight. The Dems loved their ‘Ted’ whom they covered up for for decades. No one thought JFK would get elected because he was a Catholic…when being a Catholic is precisely what got him elected.
Folks may not like hearing this because of their love for Pres. Trump. Nevertheless, I do believe that RFK, Jr. will be a formidable ‘foe’. He has ‘friends in high places’, too. His family is ‘old money’.

Speaking of garbage…At one point – long time ago when I learned about ccp infiltration; my dad helped me recognize a variety of corruptions as a kid – I made a commitment to boycott everything ‘made in china’… it really cut down on the garbage I’ve had to pay for & throw away; I’ve saved a lot of $$$ in general too. The first documentary linked below inspired me to curb my personal contribution to the *fouling-the-Earth-with-garbage* problem as much as possible. For me it was/is a way to reject allowing corporate rape into my life; *Starve. The. Beast.*.
Do you ever look at your physical garbage & wonder how much money you’re actually forced to invest in what you then have to just throw away… because it’s wrapped around nearly every item you need to acquire to conduct life?
I just want the price I’m paying for *packaging* to be revealed… and for whoever’s name is on the packaging to retain the responsibility of ownership & to either be required to take it back outright, or to pay for it’s recycling/disposal/re-use – and to be reimbursed… a “handling fee”… compensated for doing a job I do not want to do for them. I buy as little as possible yet I still have to purchase more than I want to. I re-use a lot of it in various ways… but with the housemates I enjoy having other priorities, it makes that impossible to keep up with.
There is a children’s museum here that accepts many kinds of packaging for their art department… there is a huge room where kids can build robots, magical creatures, vehicles, whatever they think of, with donated packaging. The staff has built & installed upcycled-packaging-art throughout the museum… for example incredible schools of fish & flocks of birds made from big & small soap containers are wall decorations in various rooms. They also have a big “store” kids can play “shopper/cashier/stockist” in – with those tiny child-size carts & play $$$ – that is full of all sorts of adapted packaging; it’s all quite good there. It’s an exceptional place – a literal paradise of goodness for children & parents – which is both uplifting & sad at the same time; every town & city should have this kind of place, and it’s sad they don’t… it feels like an embarrassment of riches in that way.

It is an excellent article, but with the major premise being Blame = Votes, it is politically immaterial as pre-printed mail-in ballots are harvested without so much as a nod to the wishes of the voters.
My view: the crash is the final nail in the Constitution as police state powers will be deployed to stem the panic.

Phillip Morris leaves compliance to third party agencies, so probably a lot of looking the other way happens. Maybe they ought to start letting low level offenders work off their sentences? They used an example of a young man who is now in college – not the best example of someone who didn’t have opportunities.

At some point, people in the United States will have to realize that their country is descending (more like HAS descended – W) into Banana Republic-style despotism.

This makes it glaringly apparent that the GOP is all about money and big donors, not The American People. “And your enemies will be those of your own household..” This will undoubtedly turn away some Trump voters. At this point Trump is the only light at the end of the tunnel but his own party seems intent on destroying him.
Interesting that that article says, and I quote: “In Trump Jr.’s own words” and then follows-up with a “quote box”, presumably of his own words:
“Trump Jr. defended Anheuser-Busch on his podcast last week, calling for an end to boycott while citing the company is “iconic” and that it has a history of donations to Republican candidates.”
I only see a single-word “quoted” from Don Jr: “iconic“. Not “words“. It appears that the quote of “his own words” is actually just a single word embedded in a 3rd-party description of what he said.
But alright, I have read that Don Jr has said something along those lines; and perhaps is rightfully being called-out on it.
STILL – come on, man! “His own words” is just a single word. Leaving it wide-open that there could be some nuance or something not being reported. Hiding a narrative or agenda being pushed.
That type of writing is cringe.

Concerning Truth vs. “emotional truth”
We Conservatives believe – correctly – that we look at the evidence, no matter what our feelings might tell us.
If e.g. the evidence showed us that President Trump were mentally ill, I believe that most Conservatives would believe the evidence, and despite our deep feeling that it could not be true, we would admit that the waddling, quacking, mallard-looking duck in front of us was in fact a duck * …and not an elephant.

Right now, a Leftist lunatic named Bill Palmer on The Palmer Report is reporting that President Trump is mentally ill, that he is “so far gone” that nothing will stop his self-destruction!
Palmer places a deliberately distorted photo of President Trump on his website as proof of this mental instability.
We look at such a “report” and shake our heads at how far away from the Truth it is…because the evidence (e.g. President Trump being interviewed on Tucker Carlson, or speaking at a rally) does not show any signs of insanity.
However, Leftists will read the same report, and believe every word of it, because – to them – it feels right and supports their beliefs.
The evidence to the contrary is not examined directly: they accept the “filtering” of The Palmer Report as fact.

reminds me of that case where lawyers for boys on trial for the murder of their parents argued that they can’t send these orphans to prison. I think it worked to get a hung jury, but the not in the second trial where they got life without parole.

Imagine Twitter had then banned me, and I’d sued the company. Imagine that as part of the suit, Twitter had turned over records showing a senior White House advisor – Jared Kushner, say – had singled me out for censorship.
Finally, imagine I had further discovered a 3M board member who was a friend of Kushner’s had also demanded Twitter censor me after I wrote how useless the company’s masks were.

Same-sex attraction has always been part of human biology; the gay rights movement simply demanded its acceptance.
But the trans activists are demanding a change in the way humans see themselves. And to me, that new vision seems to be the inevitable culmination of the fact that medicine and science have now completely divorced heterosexual sex from reproduction.
