Today I was over-hearing three people whom I have experienced before: they are retired U.A.W. workers, vehemently anti-Trump and just as vehement in their support of the DEM agenda. In this morning’s ranting, they were trashing Jim Jordan and Marjorie Greene and the “Speaker of the House” (his name failed them) for “sticking their noses” into the Bragg Grand Jury nonsense.
Truth for them included the illogical statement: “They got no right sticking their noses into a city prosecution!”
We know that the “city prosecutor” is unconstitutionally charging President Trump with violating a Federal law! No matter: “Trump never paid taxes!” “Trump stole those secret files!”
My favorite: “The Republicans planted those files in Biden’s house and garage! Biden was fine as a senator and vice-president and he would never have stolen secret documents.”
I had to leave for the house, but they rattled on the usual litany of talking points: “They’re gonna make abortions illegal nationwide!!!” screeched the 60-something woman, a thin, sharp-nosed, constantly frowning, hair-pulled-back type. Her eternally unhappy face speaks volumes about her adherence to the DEM agenda. And her desire for killing babies is, of course, both incomprehensible and detestable.
The question is: how can we reach such people to change their minds? This is about the fourth time I have overheard them in the last year, and it is always similar: anti-Trump talking points at 7:00 A.M. Truly infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome!
I hate being pessimistic, but I think they can never be convinced about the Truth of things. Even if (when) we see a complete collapse because of The Communist Agenda, I suspect they will blame Republicans, Conservatives, and especially President Trump for such an event.
The Left, the Communists, do not believe in an objective Truth, and so the “truth” becomes an opinion, as Pilate knew that the “truth” from the High Priests would not match the definition of Truth from Jesus.

Pilate is interesting: since Judea was a troublesome area – and the smallest province – historians have debated whether Pilate was appointed because he was very competent and would deal with the trouble there properly, or was appointed precisely because Judea was a small province yet a big pain….and nobody else wanted the job!
Governors expected to become enriched to some degree from their tenure: how much would Pilate have expected to gain from his time there? We do not know.

We had meth head squatters take over a house 2 doors down for 5 months during the first part of the COVID saga. My Florida County Sheriff couldn’t/wouldn’t do anything. The neighborhood made life for them extremely uncomfortable. They left.
