I want to ask you for your prayers. I come to read prayers daily and I love J. Woo Miss Della B. And each of you precious people. I am really struggling here in Texas. I lost my mother father and sister all in this year. My sister was USAF Col and she actually was my caregiver. I have MS and blind in one eye. Losing my sister now and I just feel lost. I know they accepted Jesus. We love the Lord. It has been hard all alone. Thank you for lifting me each day just by reading each of your struggles. I love you all you are all such a blessing!
Nancy
Oh, dear Nancy, all of your words bring tears!
Each person who comes to this spot is precious – and we’re all in this thing called life together!
We need each other, and the love of God is what binds us.
I am deeply sorry about your parents’ and your sister’s deaths, all this year. Heartbreaking…
It saddens me to hear about your physical challenges, too, along with losing your sister as caregiver.
Nancy, your burdens are huge right now – but God is Your Deliverer.
Please keep the faith in Him, as He will never fail you. He is faithful and true.
Would like to encourage you to watch a message by Pastor Chuck Swindoll, in Frisco, Texas.
I just finished hearing his message from this morning worship service (4/30) and was greatly strengthened.
You won’t be disappointed!

a prayer:
Our gracious Father in heaven, You are our Maker and we praise You and love You for who You are.
We thank You for making a way for us to come to You by the blood of Your Son, Jesus.
Lord, we now come to Your throne where Jesus, our Great High Priest, reigns over everything – even the tiniest atom in the universe.
All power and honor belong to Him; He sustains all things by His powerful Word.
We humbly ask Your help for Nancy in every way. She needs You, God, to show Yourself strong on her behalf.
Please provide for her physical, emotional and spiritual needs, as You alone are her Provider.
Please heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds.
Strengthen her for the days ahead. Give her bright hope as she fixes her eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfector of her faith.
Please send her companions and a friend who can assist and walk along side her to be Your hands and feet.
Please remove her anxieties and any fears as You give her Your Peace.
Please help her to hear Your voice every day, leading her to green pastures and beside the still waters.
Restore her soul, O Lord, for Your name sake.
Thank your for Your tender mercies that are new every morning, O Lord.
Thank you that Your compassions never fail, and great is Your faithfulness.
God, You have a special affection for those who carry heavy burdens and are weak. We thank You for that.
Thank You that her times are in Your loving hands, Lord.
Please continue to grant Nancy with Your all-sufficient grace in every circumstance.
Help Nancy to have a faith in You that can move mountains, and to not despair but fill her heart with joy and gladness because she belongs to You.
You are her Refuge, O God, and protect Nancy from evil and dangers.
Your name is a strong tower, O Lord. The righteous run into it and are safe.
O Lord, hear our humble cry!
We thank You now for the help You will send Nancy.
May You be glorified through all of her life.
May others will see Your goodness towards her, and they, too, will praise You, Lord.
In the matchless name of Jesus – and for His sake, Amen.
Shalom, Nancy.
I will check on you again in days ahead.
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Do not lean on your own understanding. He loves you and will take care of you!
🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻
Miss.Della.B. I thank you for your comforting words. I have read them several times. You have me a peace that helped me tonight. You truly are a wonderful prayer warrior. I thank you for your time and kindness and caring heart. You can check on me anytime I am a 71 year old all alone here. My family are all of you!
Nancy
Hello Nancy! How have you been this week?
I’ve thought about you, and prayed for you.
Blessings,
🌷🌷
Breathtaking❤️
Nancy, I’m so sorry to hear this. I pray that the comfort & peace of the Lord would be upon you, that He might shepherd you through each day, & you may feel His presence lifting you up each day. Take heart that you will all reunite on that coming glad day. The Lord bless you, dear lady.
Joe
Thank you for your kind words you all have brightened my morning! God bless you and your family.
Nancy
Oh my, Nancy. Lord Have Mercy! I knew there was something drawing me here tonight and it wasn’t a thing to read – it was a person to love… you. My fine brother and sister here have spoken sweet words and prayers over you and my prayers, too, are yours, dear lady.
May I ask the uncomfortable questions?
You mentioned you are all alone. Do you have an elder social worker, or Meals on Wheels, or a trustworthy Pastor to adopt you? I want to know you are okay. It makes me crazy that I am here in Central Indiana and we can’t adopt you to check in on you. But, Texas is known for her hospitality and I am praying you are reaching out, girlfriend.
Do not have any qualms or reservations to REACH, REACH, REACH. You rob other people of blessings if you don’t allow them to LOVE YOU. Many of the large “mega” churches have elder senior groups and some even transport their precious seniors to services.
LET THEM HELP YOU AND LOVE YOU.
We are here for you. You keep posting – we want to know how you are doing and if there’s any prayer requests, we would be honored to pray for you.
Nancy,
Your story is so similar to mine, lost my brother, sister in law and dear friend within mos, then I developed neuropathy so not much help to my daughter suffering with ALS. Her brave 25 year old daughter is her caregiver, she gave up her life, immediately after college to take care of her mom/She had a job as an intern in the state legislature so gave up her career also. She is a rock for such a young girl so please pray for my daughter, my granddaughter. I will pray for your family as well. God Bless you.
Hi Nancy,
I’m thinking of you and praying for you.
💕
Please pray for the Moore family in Pauls Valley, OK. One of their sons was canoeing yesterday, tipped over and he could not swim. They have not located him as of this morning, and the search continues.
We are heartbroken for them, and pray they will find the strength to carry on. His fiance was with him, and she searched for him until dark.
Thank you.
This is heart-wrenching, Jann, and will pray:
Dear Lord God, Maker of heaven and earth, and all creation, we humbly seek You to help the Moore family in OK.
You know all things, You are all powerful, and You are in control.
Please guide those who are searching for their son to find him.
Help them all to take refuge in You, O Lord.
Hide them in the shadow of Your wings until the disaster has passed.
Give them strength and a peace that surpasses all understanding.
Gather them, Lord, to Your bosom, and hold them tight.
Comfort them as only You can do. Pour out Your grace upon them, God.
Remind them that You will never leave or forsake them, and that You love them with an everlasting love.
We ask, Gracious God, that their son will found alive and okay.
Thank you, Lord, that You are Sovereign over our lives, and May Thy will be done. You know best.
May they all find rest in Thee, a Shelter in the storm.
For Christ’s sake, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Shalom.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding…
💔✝️💔
thank you, Miss.Della.B for that beautiful prayer. As I was reading it just now, I received a text message that the divers have found him.
He was only 20 years old, a sweet Christian young man who attended church regularly so he is in heaven. It will be tough for his parents, brothers and sister though.
God bless you.
Jann, this tragedy breaks my heart for this family and all who love him. I am so sorry.
My earlier prayer requests are still with the Lord. They don’t expire with Him, thank goodness.
Thank you for checking back to let us know.
a prayer:
Dear Lord, We’re here again and thank You for always being ready to help us.
Thank you for guiding the team to the Moore’s son – even though they were hoping he would be alive.
Lord, this is breaking hearts of the family and others who loved him, and You understand.
You are merciful and compassionate towards them and have promised to comfort them as only You can.
Please get this family through the dark, distressing days ahead, and shine Your Light upon them.
Provide for all their needs and may they recognize Your Presence in a special way.
Carry them, dear Lord, in their grief-filled journey until they are strong again.
Fill their hearts and minds with Your peace.
Please bring good out of this tragic brokenness for them, and may it bring glory to You.
Thank you, thank you – that their son was a believer in Christ and is Your child.
We praise You, God, that their son is now with You in heaven for eternity.
You tell us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
We humbly ask for these things, and please strengthen each one’s faith in You, as You make a way for them.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom.
💔💔
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much for the beautiful prayer. Today will be a very rough day for the family. They were able to view his body yesterday for the first time and today is the funeral.
Thank you so much for caring and praying for them all.
JannB,
I am so sorry. May his memory be eternal and the Lord keep this precious family.
Thank you,
Praying for the Lord’s comfort to be with this poor family & his fiance. The Lord bless you, Jann.
Thank you.

I ask for prayers for my nephew, a loving, caring, giving, ultimate patriot. He gave up his plans for college and instead enlisted in the army after 9/11. As with everything else he does, he dedicated his all to this and became an army ranger, serving multiple tours in Iraq & Afghanistan. He joined the police department after his tour of duty and continued to serve six more years in the army reserve, all while attending college at night. He then became a S.W.A.T. team member. During the BLM riots/protests in PA, S.W.A.T. was called in to clear a major PA Highway of protestors. Several wouldn’t leave the highway and my nephew had authorization and used tear gas. Although he was cleared of wrongdoing by the F.O.P., the Soros funded D.A. has sued and has been appealing the case for 3 years. A jury is finally scheduled to be picked this week. He lost his job two months before the birth of his first child. He has now been diagnosed with Pompe disease, a fatal genetic disease that eats away at your muscles and will eventually confine him to a wheelchair. I’ll never understand why such a wonderful young man has been given this heavy cross to bear. Please pray for him and his family for a favorable outcome to this miscarriage of justice against him and, especially, for his health.
Mary, I’m so sorry to hear about your nephew’s difficult trials. Sometimes they do come all at once and can be overwhelming.
But take heart – God is able and willing to help him! And, you are a dear aunt to care for him as you do! God bless you.
a prayer:
Lord God, We lift up our eyes to the hills; where does our help come from? Our help comes from the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth. He neither slumbers nor sleeps, but watches over our lives – both now and forevermore!
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne, O Lord.
And we are gathered – by faith – at Your throne to ask Your help for Mary’s nephew.
Please give him abundant mercy and grace.
May Godly justice be given to him at this upcoming trial and may You vindicate him.
Please show Yourself strong on his behalf, Lord, and bring an end to this evil.
Lord, please touch his body – physical, emotional and spiritual – and restore him.
You know all that he needs and You are the One who will provide.
Help his faith in You grow strong.
Give him the attitude as Job who said: When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
Lord, please use all his trials for good and may he be a faithful follower of Christ, and a light shining in the darkness.
Teach him what he needs to know, give him what he needs to have, and make him more like Your Son, Jesus.
Give him Your peace that these afflictions are only for a little while, but he will live in glory with You forever.
Help him to trust You completely with his life so that he has NO questions here on earth about his troubles, because he knows that You are with him, that You love him, and that You really do have a good plan for him.
Your ways are higher than our ways, O God, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We thank You for that.
Help Mary’s nephew to trust You with all of his heart, because You are faithful and true, dear Lord.
Help him to not worry about anything, but pray about everything.
Help him to experience Your Presence in his life, hear Your voice., and follow You.
Hold him close to Thee, dear Lord, and lead him on, O King Eternal.
God, please help his family, too. Minister to each one and may they know that You love them.
Thank you for everything You do for this family, God. May they bring You glory and honor all of their days.
For Christ’s sake,
Shalom,
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Mary, it’s been said that God often gives the toughest assignments to those He knows can carry them out. Your nephew sounds every bit the person you describe him as, & I’m so sorry to read of this. Joining you in prayer that the Lord would have mercy upon him, that he would be vindicated in this wrong action, & that this disease might be removed from him. God bless you.
Hi Mary,
I didn’t speak before, but prayed silently in unity with Della and Joe.
There is certainly no explanation for why some have such greater cross to carry and I do solemnly believe what Joe has said about God giving the strong the duty to carry such burdens.
I am constantly looking for God to show up and show out in those moments as He is merciful and loving and seeks that none should perish without eternal promise.
This world is not normal anymore and maybe one could take it a compliment that they are very clearly incongruent with it. Your nephew is innocent and followed orders as many of our uniformed heroes do and that can lead them into uncertain circumstances with an all out war on our peacekeepers.
I pray the Soros funded DAs impotence, as we have witnessed in other futile attempts against the righteous. I pray the Soros funds dry up in their efforts, exert nothing but comedic futility, and that WE REMEMBER satan is a defeated foe and we crush his head with our heel. satan is merely taking his last gasps and last snarled gnashing of teeth to strike fear… but God is not the Author of fear.
I pray God gently and miraculously heals your nephew’s body and protects his mind and Spirit and removes his pain and uncertainty. These bodies are transitory vessels, but GOD is forever! I pray miracles for your nephew and that it creates a mighty testimony for him to tell the world of our Lord’s faithfulness.
Blessings, friend to you and the family as you seek to keep things as normal as possible in the environment you have control over… and defer the rest to God Almighty.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN

Please pray for the dead and injured in a massive car accident pile up on Highway 55 today in Illinois.
Dear Lord God, the Author and Giver of life, we ask Your merciful help for all those involved in a terrible car wreck today in Illinois. You know each person’s needs, and You love them, Lord.
Please bring relief and healing to those with broken bodies, and fearful hearts. Remove their stress and pain.
Please provide the responders and medical teams with excellent skills and compassion.
Please fill each person’s heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
And for those who do not yet know You as their Savior and Master, lead them today to call on the name of the Lord, and be saved.
Comfort the families of those who died, and minister to each one’s needs.
May You alone be glorified in this tragic event, as You, O God, bring good out from it.
For Christ’s sake,
Amen,
Shalom,

Praying for the healing touch of our Lord to come upon those hurt in this tragic accident & comfort for those who lost loved ones.
Lord, hear our prayers in unity. In Jesus’s Name. AMEN
Hello Joe Blow, fellow prayer warrior … would you please join me in prayer?
I’m not sure if I should remain here on this Prayer Thread as an intercessor.
Have been seeking guidance from the Lord, and no clear answer.
Thank you!
Dear Miss.Della.B,
I just found this thread today and am so blessed by your prayers and clear intercession for those in need. As I prayed along with you and Joe Blow for these dire needs, my spirit was uplifted and very encouraged. My desire is to pray also in these difficult times, to stop worrying over self, and to lift others to the throne of grace, that they may receive mercy and help in time of need.
Your prayers are clear and scriptural and filled with the Spirit. I do not know why you are questioning your place here on the Prayer Thread as it is very obvious where you belong…but it is our relationship with the Lord and His desires that matter most of all, so I am praying for wisdom and peace as you search out the Lord’s Holy Will for your next steps in this matter.
Thank you so much for your kind words and prayer, Longing.
I only want to do what God wants and not sure if this spot is where I should spend my time. We all have limited amount.
I do pray from my heart as the Holy Spirit brings the words; you’re right, there are many dire needs in our world that only God can help.
But these “cyber” ways of praying are so strange …
many times there is no response.
It’s a new era, for certain.
The Lord will guide me in His way – of this I’m sure.
Your mindset is same as mine – I’m done with worrying about self..
And my mantra is the same as CS Lewis:
“My prayer is when I die all of hell rejoices that I am out of the fight!”
Blessings to you,
Hope to see you again.
Della, you pray beautifully. I hope you don’t stop. You are a dear and sweet sister and I pray the Lord gives you good rest and refreshment.
There are times in my own wrestling with the world, that I pull back and feel I am unworthy to pray for anyone else. Certainly if I can’t pray my own troubles away, how effective am I for others? God and I had some words this week! It wasn’t pretty. I stumble. I fall. I am crass and socially inept and probably unacceptable and imperfect.
And then there is The Holy Spirit who leads. Who reminds me that… yep, I’m imperfect. I am going to fail. I am going to fall. I am going to curse. I am going to feel weak and ineffective. I am going to GET BACK UP. I quite literally LOST IT after reading Nancy’s post earlier and wept bitterly standing at my kitchen sink… pleading with our Lord to not be inept or ineffective. I was upset that I couldn’t do more, say more, give more!! More, more, MORE!!!
We each need our time of rest. Times to go into battle and times for fall back and regrouping.
I can only hope that through my imperfections, folks find sincerity, candor, and blessed imperfection. This is one heck of a ride that none of us signed up for. This is not how our futures were supposed to go. This corruption was not supposed to happen – but of course, in our study of Revelation – this is exactly how it is supposed to go.
Be good to yourself, sister. You are an amazing woman of God. You fill the needs that you can fill, when you can fill them. Others will come along to help and they will be blessed in the helping.
If I may add… an upvote here… is a silent prayer in solidarity. Equally powerful testimony that none here are alone.
My affection to you, Della, and love to our Treeper brothers and sisters.
Thank you for this. I think the evil one must have been extra active this week, as I too said some things to the Lord the other night I was quickly ashamed of. Not that it’s ever good for that to happen, but it does help knowing you’re not the only one sometimes. I also was extremely moved by Nancy’s post & haven’t been able to stop thinking about her situation. You’re a wonderful woman of God yourself, Joan, so don’t be too hard on yourself. 🙂
I totally agree, Joe! Things are heating up, right?!
“But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”
Revelation 12:12
Joe Blow and Della,
YES – things are really heating up. Lord have MERCY and COME QUICKLY! We are imperfect beings appointed with Divine missions and may The Lord give us great discernment to be powered by the Spirit’s fuel and not by our own bio-gas. LOL For sure, no matter the trial or adversity – I CAN’T DO THIS WITHOUT HIM. He Who strengthens me. He Who provides my nourishment, shelter, and protection. He Who Walks before me and promises that if I commit my ways to HIM, HE WILL Make my paths straight.
Amen, amen, amen, Woo!
Every morning when I open my eyes, before putting feet on the floor, I tell the Lord,
>>
I don’t want to go anywhere without Your Presence, God.
Not even two steps without You.
Lead us all on, O King Eternal…for Christ’s sake..
🌷
Powerful is the armor of God. I find you all to be quite inspiring and just what the world needs more of despite satan’s tireless efforts❤️
Joe Blow – I like to think that The Lord wants these honest relationships with us.
You said you felt ashamed – you know that shame only comes from satan, right? You think God doesn’t know what you look like in your birthday suit, or your very worst, and most natural conditions??? Psalm 139 – we don’t hid nuthin’ from God. LOL
A friend once told me that she loved me for the flowers and the dirt when I was reticent about sharing some difficulties I was having. God loves the flowers and the dirt – and we know that both are equally nourishing – though one looks more beautiful than the other.
Besides, when I am crass and warrior-like and not easily set asunder – I look upon our God and I say “Well, what do You expect? You made me like this with a mother’s heart. What did You think would happen?!”
He’s going to look at me when I am “Finally Home” and say “Well done my good and faithful child. Now go weed the garden because you have a foul mouth.” and I’ll say…. “okay.” (Plus I love weeding gardens in the rain when the weeds are easily pulled and the dirt smells like earth worms.) It’s all about perspective.
Woo, you are so sweet, and your words comfort!
I’ve been thinking about your post and also want to encourage you.
ALL of us are unworthy to pray to our Holy God.
It is the Spirit of Jesus, within us, who prays to the Father.
The Holy Spirit hears our groans and unintelligible utterings, and even translates them to God.
He remembers our frame – we are made of dust. How precious…
Then, your self-imposed descriptions couldn’t be further from the truth!
Those characteristics are Not how you come across -via ‘net.
I think the devil is attacking believers every way possible lately, to make us back down from God’s work.
Woo, remember Whose you are – and what the Lord says about you.
Readjust your crown – and walk confidently with your God. I do this multiple times per day.
And yes, Nancy’s post affected deeply. I wish she were close where I could physically help.
But God knows all of our hearts – and truthfully, He can do way more than we can.
And He uses our prayers to accomplish His plan. So, we rest in that.
You are a vibrant, God-fearing woman, too, Woo.
And that is who all of hell fears – those who love the Lord and pray to Him.
Glad I’ve met you in this Treehouse and will definitely see you in heaven!
Blessings to you and your daughter.
You are a good and darling woman, friend, and sister. I am honored to call you mine.
As for descriptions – I am a jar of clay like the rest and prone to chipping and breaking like anybody else. Good thing there’s Spiritual Super Glue.
Imperfect in your perfection❤️
“My prayer is when I die all of hell rejoices that I am out of the fight!” – love this. Excellent mantra.
Yes, Lewis was wise to pen this thought!
And I, for one, keep it in the forefront of my mind …
We are in war!
🙏🏻🥰
Dear Miss Della. B,
Our Lord hears your prayers for all here on this thread and give thanks you can put into words what not everyone can. I read prayer requests and add them to my prayer list. At times I feel overwhelmed by so much hardship for our fellow treepers….you give voice to my prayers when I lie down and let God read my soul and so very many hurts in among this limb. I thank you prayer warrior. Blessings to you.
God morning, Nana, “cyber” sister! Your reply put a lump in my throat … 🥹🥹
Thank you for your comments – they mean a lot.
Believe it or not – I am not a “wordy” person on other side of the screen!
My prayers are sometimes lengthy because I’m simply pouring out my heart for these dear people.
And truthfully, I ask God the same things for myself and family.
We need it all, otherwise, we won’t make it…
Nana, we are all different, as God created us as He desires.
Here’s something I’ve learned about prayer that is so comforting:
> > The power of prayer is not in the spoken words;
rather, the power is in the One to Whom they are spoken.
Many times all we can say is : Help us, dear Lord…
And He understands completely … like you said – “God reads my soul.”
That’s precious.
I’m like you, Nana. Hearing about all the troubles and trials is overwhelming at times.
But it’s not time to give in to evil, but fight!
Blessings to you and your family,
🥰🙏🏻
Still thinking about your words, Nana – “God reads my soul.”
That’s beautiful …
So thankful that He does!
🌷
Agreed 💯
I’d be honored to join you in prayer, Miss Della. I echo everyone else’s sentiments here that your prayers are uplifting & beautifully heartfelt. If it were up to me I would say that you should most certainly not go, but of course we must follow wherever the Lord leads. And intercessory prayer is often very hard work. I know of a precious brother who is an intercessor that does not sleep well at all, as the Lord will often wake him in the middle of the night & he will be interceding for hours at a time. But he is also one of the greatest prayer warriors I know of.
I can only tell you of my own experience here in the way of advice. I was moved by the Spirit of the Lord some 7 years ago to come into this thread. At the time my father had been recently diagnosed with cancer, & I immediately felt a kinship with all the other prayer warriors & those seeking prayer. My dad’s situation was such that many times emergencies would occur & hospital trips were not uncommon, & it meant so much to me to be able to reach out to these wonderful people for comfort & strength. I didn’t want anyone to ever come to this thread with an urgent prayer request & worry that someone wouldn’t answer or that they may answer too late. I felt the Lord tell me to be that person who would be there. He hasn’t yet ended that commission for me.
I have found in life that the Lord sometimes doesn’t answer us right away because he wants us to stop & evaluate something about ourselves or our situations. I call those “selah” moments. Perhaps this is one such moment for you. In any case, let’s seek Him so that you can be sure.
Heavenly Father, we come to you tonight in the name of Your precious Son Jesus. We thank you for the blood that was shed on the Cross of Calvary to pay the debt we could not pay, the unspeakable gift which not only eliminated the penalty for sin but also broke the power of sin. We lift up our dear sister Miss Della who is unsure of whether to continue interceding in this Prayer Thread. Father, we ask that You might give her wisdom & understanding to discern Your will regarding this, & that whatever Your will is that You might make it crystal clear to her, as we know You are not the author of confusion. We ask for strength, leading, & guidance, that you might renew her spirit & plant her feet on higher ground. We also confess that it’s difficult when we ask things of You & You do not answer right away, but we trust that You will on Your time, exactly when You know it to be best. We thank You & love You tonight, Father, & we pray this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen & amen.
God bless you, Miss Della. 🙂
Thank you, Joe, for your touching comments and prayer. Tears came when I read this. 🥹
I love to hear stories about how the Lord is using others – May God abundantly bless your friend, the intercessor.
I believe they are far and few between, because God has to get us out of our self-centered world to focus on others.
Hmmmm.
Your words about someone coming to this prayer thread, seeking strength and support FROM GOD, but finding no one available, is my thought, too! That breaks my heart …
God forbid that!
I understand those “selah” times – pause and think about that.
I thank God for you and all the others who are here to help carry the heavy burdens.
Your prayer is appreciated, Joe.
May God bless you and your household and shine His face upon you.
🌷🙏🏻
An after-thought — you’ve been here for seven years, Joe??
You have a faithful and fully-committed heart to God.
May He richly bless you.
Cyber-praying is new for me. Have been here only few months,
and still learning the technology way of prayer.
You know, Della, you mention the “cyber” nature of this. I understand. Sometimes I view it as the “message in a bottle” scenario. My “David” prayers placed into words, placed in a bottle, and thrown into the “sea”. Never to return again. I often don’t see responses, as my timing is not consistent with visiting the Tree – and if days pass – I often do not go back to previous days to see if someone has responded to something I wrote. I just have to toss that bottle into the sea and PRAY The Lord finds it. I send that comment to a toe-dangling friend and leave it to The Lord if it is able to land on their eyes, ears, and heart – and look for no affirmation. I just have to TRUST. Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the assurance of what we hope for in the presence of the unseen.
What an incredible honor it is to be trusted to pray for others. What an incredible humbling experience that our words can lance the abscess of evils, hurts, and pains and release some of the pain and pressure for others. The relief of it all through God Who strengthens us! Praise God for His Mercy!
This is absolutely wonderful, Woo!
Thank for explaining your thoughts using “message in a bottle.”
I’m going to remember that!
Yes, I have mentioned the word”cyber” here – it’s just new to me.
(I’m old. It’s teaching old dog new tricks, haha!)
But the Lord has shown me that when I send a prayer – it’s to Him. Not to the person who asked.
And if they never respond, He does. That’s all that matters. That the Lord works in their lives.
This is a guarantee. And I leave that with God.
💕💕
Yes, I didn’t even realize it had been that long until I thought about it last night. Thank you so much for your kind words. It was new to me then too but you get used to it after a while. 🙂
Encouraging, Joe, you are!
🙏🏻
Praying… and along with those reading and silently in unity… in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
I’m so sorry, Joe Blow, that your Poppa suffered from cancer. It is truly the hardest and most noble thing we experience. The birth of life and the ministering to it as it physically breaks down and transfers to Eternity. I pray your father’s comfort and that he has enjoying his perfect self in his heavenly home. Thank God for His Promises.
Amen, Joe. What your Father -and you – went through together is one of life’s hardest trials.
May the Lord continue to comfort and heal your heart till you are reunited …
Thank you so much for your words, Miss Della. As I just noted above, fellow brothers & sisters who were so kind like you & JWoo are were such a comfort during that time, it’s difficult to express it in words. We find strength in the knowledge that those who have gone home to be with Jesus are no longer suffering but rather are enjoying the presence of the Lord, & this helps my mom & me tremendously.
🥰
Hallelujah. Yes, it was a long & difficult journey, but one that ultimately brought him into direct contact with his Savior Whom he now knows by sight. The people here were so kind & caring as you are throughout it that it meant the world to me & to our family in a time of great hardship.
As I read and pondered your post,I,for some reason thought of this: Daniel 12:3 -“Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky and those who turn many to righteousness will shine like stars forever”.
Whatever you decide,go with God my friend.I,for one, appreciate your prayers. You are a wonderful person! Casco 🙂
Proverbs 12:25 – “Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up”. 🙂
Those are beautiful Scriptures, Casco … they speak life.
And you have lifted me up with your kind words – thank you much!
All of you have been gracious to respond and I greatly appreciate, as I listen for the Lord’s directions.
God can – and He does – speak to us through others at times.
And, I thank you.
Cascoe, I know what you mean when you say I am wonderful person.
But it’s Christ in me. Any good that I do is only by Him, through Him, and for Him.
Thanks be to God!
Blessings on you, Casco, and your household, all the days of your life.
(Your Scriptures remind of another about “shining stars/lights”)
Do everything without complaining or arguing, (14)
so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation,
in which you shine as lights in the world (15)
as you hold forth the word of life … (16)
Philippians 2:14-16.a
“We are the light of the world, may our light shine before all,
That they may see the good that we do,and give glory to God”.
Stay blessed amiga… Casco 🙂

Dear Della,
I think scripture provides an answer to your questions. You appear to be equipped with the full armor of God, and you appear to want to pray without ceasing. Keep praying!
The typing schedule is another, different matter. There are many times I pray along with requests without typing, and if I am unable to get to the Treehouse, I will pray for certain people as well as asking for God, who knows everything, to answer prayers I am unaware of, as He wills (I am pretty sure He does not me to tell Him what has been asked for, and His answers are better than I ever request).
Most of today was full of yard work for me, so I was able to pray while doing that. Several of those prayers were for Treepers, including you.
Pray without ceasing. Type as led by the Holy Spirit.
Dear flora, your kind reply touched me so … thank you!
Your wise thoughts are really helpful – pray without ceasing, type as led by the Holy Spirit – love that!
And, like you, I find myself thinking of others on the Tree who have great needs, and pray for them.
Some of my best prayer times with the Lord are doing dishes at kitchen sink, and in the yard with my flowers.
I seem to get lost with Him there…
You are absolutely right that God knows best how to answer our prayers!
Sometimes, though, it takes awhile for us to understand that – when He gives a different answer …
Bless you, flora, for your prayers for everyone. God loves you with an everlasting love.
Hope to see you again!
🥰🙏🏻
In 2020 I lost all my work due to the lockdown.. I’m an independent contractor and my work was not deemed “essential”. I knew I could make a year for sure and I could probably squeeze out 2 years. I had 1-2 small projects in 2021/2022 but nothing since until last week, When the call came, I missed it!!!!!! I don’t what I was doing but I missed the message for almost 24 hours. When I saw it, I immediately called but they had already offered it to someone else…they needed quick answer. I’m at the bottom of my financial barrel. Things can bad from this point. I’ve been working in the same field for almost 30 years and I’m in my 60s. I’m am so afraid right now. I never thought I’d be in this place at this point in my life. Please pray for me that I have strength and courage and vision to see myself though this. I need help. Thank You , Christine S.
Christine, the Lord loves you & He is with you even through something as traumatic as this can be. As Jesus taught us, if He cares for the birds of the air, then how much more does He care for us? I pray that the Lord will provide for you in every way, even through supernatural means if need be, restoring your strength & your resolve. I pray that He will give you a job that is just right for you & bless you all of your days. Believe that He is able & He will do it!
Amen!
Thank you so much for your prayer. I’m going to keep it in my mind today and pray for faith.
Christine,
I would like to add to this – that I am praying the Lord will open your eyes to NEW and EXCITING adventures. Opportunities to learn and apply to even things that seem new and mysterious to you. I have often found that in my times of dire hopelessness – in retrospect – God was opening doors for me that I never knew were there and that His Blessings and fruitfulness resulting – were so much better planned than my own limited thinking. Maybe God is moving a mountain for you? One that you… on your own… would never go round? I find journaling in times like these most helpful – give it fully to Him for maybe six months – then come back six months later and re-read those letters to God. He can be quite remarkable!
I sit in anticipation, EXCITED, for what HE Has next for you!
Thank you so much for this prayer. Maybe God is moving a mountain for me? I have been thinking along those lines but maybe fear keeps getting best of me? I have no sense of what something “else” might look like, what that might be. I feel stuck in that sense. Journaling sounds like a good idea…I will try it.
Bless you and all those who’ve responded and prayed for me. I won’t go into detail, but I was able to move forward a little bit today with a couple tasks that will relieve some of the financial pressure for at least 2 months so I have a little breathing room. I didn’t know how I would feel about asking for prayers/help like this…but I’m OK…I feel more hopeful today. Thank you!!!
Maybe teaching your skills? Trade schools and prisons have basic construction classes. May God bless your journey.
Oh Christine, your frustration is definitely felt – and warranted!
From my perspective, it seems the older we get, the harder it is to manage problems in a calm manner.
We want to know everything is secure and any type of change throws a wrench in the mix!
I agree wholeheartedly with our other prayer friends here – God is going to take care of you!
He does feed the birds, but He will not drop the worm in their nest.
As you prayerfully seek the Lord for your financial needs, He will lead you to the well.
Many times, our greatest battle is in our mind – we have thoughts of fear, confusion, anxiety, and the like.
Then we begin listening to those wrong voices, instead of the Good Shepherd, Who takes care of His sheep.
We have to talk to ourselves, by claiming the precious promises of God, our Provider.
I’m praying for you, Christine!
Dear Lord, Thank You for Your tender care towards us. You created us and love us with an everlasting love, especially giving us Your Son, Jesus, to die for us.
You tell us that since You gave us Your Son, You would freely give us all we need. Thank you, God, for that.
God, one of Your names is Jehovah-Jireh, which means “The Lord will Provide.” Give Christine strong faith to believe that.
You tell us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all the things we need would be added to us.
Lord, please provide Christine with all that she needs, especially her finances.
Please give her abundant grace, strength, and health to get the job that is perfect for her.
Please comfort Christine and remove any fears and anxieties. Help her faith in You to grow in magnitude.
Help Christine to pray about everything, and worry about nothing. Please fill her heart and mind with Your Peace.
Remind her of all previous times in life that You’ve provided for her because You are faithful.
Help Christine recall examples in the Bible of how You took care of those who were in scarcity.
You will never fail those who love You, O Lord. And, we thank you.
We love you, dear Lord, for loving us first; for taking care of our every need here on earth till You take us home to be with You.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for thoughtful words and prayers. A lot to think and pray about. God Bless you.
Christine
You’re not alone, Christine. Keep your faith.
Let us know how it goes.
We’re here.
🥰
Thank you again. I will…
Please pray for my friend, Lou. She’ll be going in for brain tumor surgery tomorrow. Thanks.

In unity, Marty and Casco. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name – perfect eradication, perfect recovery, and made whole and refreshed. AMEN
Yes, in unity with Marty, Casco, and JWoo, Lord Jesus – for Your name sake. Amen.
Marty, I’m sorry about Lou having to go through this severe trial. And everyone needs a kind, loving friend like you to seek prayer for her. God bless you!
O Lord our God, we humbly come to Your throne by the blood of the Lamb, Your Son, Jesus.
Thank You for making a way for us. We do not deserve this, but gratefully accept Your lovingkindness.
Dear Lord, we lift up Lou to You. By faith, we commit her to You and the Word of Your grace.
You know all about her brain tumor and surgery tomorrow. Please go before her and make all the paths straight.
Please give her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remove any fears and anxieties.
Help her to sense Your Presence every step of the way, with assurance that You will never leave or forsake her.
Remind her, dear Lord, that all of her days were ordained for her and written in Your book before one of them came to be.
Reassure her that her times are in Your nail-scarred hands, and You love her more than she’ll ever know on earth.
Help her to fix her mind upon You, and not on the circumstances surrounding this ordeal – but only on You.
And, in return, grant her Your peace.
Thank You, O God, for this precious gift of Peace in this scary world. You knew we would need it.
Please equip her medical team with excellent skills and compassionate hearts.
Give them superb judgment and discernment.
Thank You for using others like them to help us.
Lord, we ask that Lou’s procedure will bring relief and healing to her body.
Help her in recovery days, too, strengthening her day by day – physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Lord, you are Lou’s Refuge and her Shelter in the storm. Please keep her safe.
Please bring good out of this extreme trial, and may You be honored and glorified in it.
May others also see Your Power, Your goodness, and Your beauty in these circumstances, O God,
because You do not let any of our suffering go to waste. We thank you for that.
Please help Marty, her friend, to minister to Lou as You lead her. And bless her, Lord, for Your name’s sake.
Thank You for giving us all faith to believe, because apart from You, we can do nothing…
In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Shalom, Shalom.
🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻
Praying for the presence of the Lord to accompany Lou today for her surgery, that He might guide the hands of the surgeons for a successful procedure, & that she would have a speedy recovery. We ask for complete removal of the tumor & any cancer along with it, & also ask for strength & comfort for her & her loved ones. God bless, Marty.
Amen, amen.
Good early morning, praying Treepers, friends, cohorts, warriors, intercessors, and seekers.
Another abbreviated sleepless night. Got about 3 1/2 hours in and was awakened again. There is much to be prayerful over.
I mentioned earlier having “words” with God this past week. Big, mean, ugly words – because He’s my Dad and He knows I am human and imperfect and certainly not a diety with immunity from the omnipresence over my concerns, circumstances, challenges, or appointments.
He returned my days of railing in petulance with gentleness (as He always does). He sent me a random flower growing from the base of our apartment building’s foundation – one that I never knew was a perennial. It must have seeded and taken root from my last year’s flower pot that has long since died off over the winter. A small magenta Snapdragon that had survived Indiana winter – rooted – tucked tightly at the corner of a building that sees harsh winds and weather elements. It took shelter and gathered warmth from the structure – and its roots were made strong enough to survive – emerge – and bloom – for me. Such a random reminder (or not so random, but rather a Divine Appointment). Thank You, Father, for giving me eyes to see it. I pray others reading here will also have eyes to see You, God – everywhere!
As I parked myself at my faithful writing desk during this early morning hour, praying, petitioning in supplication, apologizing to Him (again)… I found this and thought it might prove useful to others who are here seeking prayer.
https://www.crosswalk.com/faith/prayer/why-is-prayer-of-supplication-meaningful-to-christians.html
God is never too big, too busy, too serious, too distant, or uninterested in the matters that lead us to our prayers. He is our God, our Abba Father, our Protector, our Provider, our Friend, our Love, our ever-present Help in time of need.
I hope this blesses you in your time of seeking and refreshing. My prayers are yours.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Thank you for this, Woo.
I, too, see God everywhere … or put another way – practicing the Presence of God.
Brother Lawrence of the Resurrection wrote helpful little book with that title. It’s a classic.
Thinking of you..
🙏🏻🥰
Amen. I love to hear how God communicates with people; for me it’s often in the form of His creatures, & the other day after my own bout of insolence He sent two beautiful little birds to my doorpost.
Same here, Joe! After the Word, God speak lt loudly to me through His creation! And LOVE the birds!
That’s a wonderful story and has happened to me, too. Very humbling, right! But done with love.
Last night, and tonite, 5/5, hope many get a chance to peek at the full moon.
God will definitely speak through it!
Please pray for my friend, Linda, who is having brain tumor surgery today. Thanks and God bless.
Hi Marty, confused here! Is Linda the same person as Lou that we prayed for yesterday?
Yes. Her husband and mom call her Linda. All her friends call her Lou. Many, many, thanks for your prayers. They are very much appreciated. Today is the operation.
Marty, she is in our thoughts and prayers – of this you can be sure!
Blessings on you, too
Gracious God, We’re here again, humbly asking Your help for Lou, Linda.
You are All-wise, All-knowing, and All-powerful. You are the Sovereign Lord over everything, and we thank You.
Please give Lou everything she needs for the surgery, and afterwards.
Watch over her, and every cell in her body, as the medical team works.
Please fill the doctors and all involved in her care, with precise abilities and judgment.
Please give Lou, her family and friends Your perfect peace because they trust in You, O God.
You understand our weakness and fear, and You show Yourself strong on our behalf.
We praise You for that, dear Lord, for Your tender mercies.
For Christ’s sake, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
Shalom, Shalom – perfect peace.
Marty, please let us know how it goes, if you can. You are a blessed friend..
”You will keep in perfect peace, him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You.”
Isaiah 26:3
Thanks you, Miss Della. What a beautiful prayer. I certainly will let you know how the surgery went. The power of prayer is truly awesome. I am delighted to be part of this prayerful group. God bless you!
🙏🏻💕
Was popping in too to check on you, Marty, and Linda Lou. Praying for her successful surgery.
Her doctor did a laser ablation on the tumor. She’s going home today. Thanks for your prayers.
Good morning, Marty. Praying Linda is resting comfortably and much relieved. May her healing be complete and her life full. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Please pray for the Moore Family of Elmore City, OK today. Their oldest son drowned on Sunday, they found his body on Monday and today is the funeral. It has been a horrific ordeal for them as you can imagine.
Because special police divers had to be called in to locate and retrieve his body, the body had to go to OKC for an autopsy. The duress this family is enduring is heart breaking.
I pray that after today, they may begin to heal, but their lives have changed forever.
JannB,
I’m so sorry for this family. Thankfully they found him and could give this precious family some closure. But yes, their lives here in earth are forever altered and opportunities with him lost. Much, much grief.
I pray in time that they grasp hold onto the Promise of Eternity and live their best lives until their race is won and all can be reunited in our Heavenly Home. I am sure their son and brother would want them to live peacefully, triumphantly, and fully!
It doesn’t stop the pain, but there is HOPE and it preserves through all.
Love to you and for your intercession on their behalf.
Sincerely and in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Prayer warriors, please pray that my old High School friend from the Zone, had a successful surgery and that circulation is restored. He may need a second surgery…if those fail, the ultimate is a leg amputation. Thank you…
Aggie, when is surgery? Or is it over?
First surgery is done…am waiting to hear from him about if he needs the second one, Miss Della.B! Thank you for asking…an old friend from Jr. Hi….
The first surgery was a given……apparently, all is good…scheduled for PT and home next week!
Hi Aggie,
I was likely writing mine when you posted yours, so didn’t see this until this evening.
Glad your friend’s surgery went smoothly and I’m praying it was effective and there will be no need for further intervention or loss of his limb.
Doctors and surgeons can work miracles in this day and age, and I look at it as Divine Appointment when they intercede and treat the way they do.
May your friend be made whole and better than ever again, and restored to full mobility.
Bless you and he and his family, friend, in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Praying that all has gone well & circulation has been restored for your friend with no need for anything further. Blessings, Aggie.
Thank you all…!
Joe, JWoo..all is looking good…looking very well indeed! He had a smaller surgery to repair the damage done by lack of circulation and that went well, too.
Praise God for that! Thank for the update, Aggie.
Aggiegirl,
So delighted to hear your friend is doing so well. God be praised!
Dear Lord, Thank You caring for us like You do. We are not worthy of Your abounding love, but we thank You for it.
You are all-powerful, all-wise, and full of mercy for us.
You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals.
We humbly ask You to send forth healing to Abbie’s friend who recently had surgery.
Continue to mend his leg and circulation from malfunction.
Lord, please bind up all his wounds – physical, emotional and spiritual, and let him walk in wholeness, to the glory of Your name.
We thank You, God, for giving medical professionals the abilities to help us when our bodies are broken.
Help us to never take such for granted, but remember that all healing is ultimately from You alone.
And we are grateful.
We thank You for all that You do for Abbie’s friend and his family. May they honor You with their lives.
Lord, please bless Abbie for her compassionate heart and love for her long-time friend. That’s a treasure.
For Christ’s sake,
🙏🏻🙏🏻
These last few days have been absolutely BIZARRE.
I’m regularly monitored with blood work. Yesterday, received results that were terribly out of whack. Not just one criteria, but half dozen or so… so I’ve insisted on a full redo. Heading to hospital to have blood drawn at their lab this morning.
Appreciate your prayers.
Highlights:
* New absolutely crazy PCP who is against functional medicine, against vitamins and supplements, and FOR big pharma and bent on getting us jabbed. The staff is great… he’s young and an osteopath who is NOT concerned about inflammation? I question what medical school is putting out nowadays. He’s wrestling with me over medication, trying to get me to change my mind about Armour Thyroid. Now trying to pile on statins out of the gate. If you heard the recent cardiologist podcast on Joe Rogan.. noooooo way!! Plus these results are so completely out of character… why isn’t HE calling for second opinion? I’m demanding one even if I end up in the hook for paying for it all. Lord have mercy! These tests can not be right!
* My Parosmia (distorted sense of smell) which had finally abated after 16 months of relentlessness… abated about 4 months ago… returned last week. Forced instantaneous menopause at 48 yo… and this Parosmia, MOPD (lung damage), and now sleep apnea. No one knows how to treat Parosmia and it is repulsive, disconcerting, and depressing. (I firmly believe it’s a form of brain damage and permanent damage to the olfactory nerve. ) I am concerned I’m getting sick from church… heavy dense crowds, fabric seating, and my bad battle with Covid Sept 1, 2021 almost killed me. Did I get it again? Is my weird blood work a spike?
* carpet beetles found in my clean home… going to try Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth… we are bombarded by construction and weird bushes outside only our apartment… we’ve had issues with ear mites for our poor kitties, spiders, and millipedes. No help from maintenance despite being a rather expensive rent! We pay over $2k month to live here in Central Indiana. It’s safe neighborhood (for now)… but maintenance and upkeep of buildings and property is horrible. Waiting for locusts or killer grasshoppers to descend out of Egypt!
* random appliance outages throughout my apartment from strange power surges the utility stated were from fallen tree. Brand new washer and dryer intermittently working. Then range went out. No one claims responsibility and I have full warranties, but much added nuisance with limited apartment maintenance support. The usual “not our problem”.
* Change may be in order with my job, but huge risk including big pharma. My health and support of my daughter factors deeply. I am in an unrewarding, dead end, entirely sedentary position currently and I’m taken advantage of there. I am highly profitable, treated like an owner (definitely NOT paid like one and we’ve suffered immensely for that), buried by responsibilities, and integral in the business operation. And I am trapped in Obamacare, as is the only health insurance I can purchase. I have stayed for familiarity, fear of the unknown devil verses the one you know, and to have flexibility for my daughters needs. But she’s growing and things will change for us financially and I must be able to support our future. (Yet, I know it is THE LORD Who holds our future)
* I need to teach daughter to drive. She’s reticent, afraid, and I don’t blame her. The thought of her on our freeways terrifies me. She simply doesn’t have fast reflexes… she’s much more methodical and contemplative. She can fly a Cessna airplane with perfect peace or ease, but feels zero kinship to an automobile or the maniacs on the road. I need to complete her independence and get her driving. She also has terrible time passing important tests.
* I need to make a decision on her final 2 years of high school. The job mentioned above is directly proportional. The schools are crazy and with her turning 18 in her junior year… they will cease communicating with me without a court order of guardianship… I’m completely against labeling my daughter inept.
It is days like these, I wish for a Godly strong husband. I can do so much and really do “it all”… but it’s overwhelming and I question God’s Sanity with His apparent confidence in me. It is simply too much for me right now.
Oh… and I need a full hip replacement from car accident in 2018. I was too young power surgeons to do it before. As if the above wasn’t enough?
Woo, just saw this and will get back – in metro traffic going to a wedding.
Keep the faith. God will show Himself strong in your behalf.
🙏🏻💕
Hi Della,
Enjoy the wedding and the celebration. Just your thoughts and prayers coming our way are appreciated. Atlas is shrugging today and my friend stated last night over dinner that I’m “not all there” because of stress. She was not unkind just concerned.
Had the blood work redone. For some Divine Intervention, the woman at the ER desk asked us if we liked the PCP, as he was new with the system. Told her honestly, no we didn’t and explained our experiences… how he had me leave the room and asked teen daughter about her sexual history… which made her uncomfortable.
Then, with the vax push, poo pooing vitamins and functional medicine, and zero concern over inflammation and he’s an Osteopath? Didn’t add up.
Turns out she was a manager of the hospital system… had heard about issues with him before… took both our names to talk to her higher up.
Something is afoot with that guy.
Unbelievable how God works and now we will see what He does with the blood work redo. Maybe God put us there for a reason? All the others we’ve met in that hospital system are amazing… including a surgeon and overnight ER stay during pandemic… are seemingly normal with great respect for civic liberties and personal choices in care.
So I know this… we just commit each of these things to the Lord and He’ll sort them out for us. One Goliath at a time.
Morning Woo, you were in my thoughts and prayer late last night, and early this morn.
And I will return here with a prayer today, but wanted to encourage now that you’re not alone.
(I’m bone-tired this a.m. and barely coherent.)
Your last sentence sums your dilemma – and I’m thankful that you know what to do. That’s huge step in the battle.
Consider for today – shelve all of your worries and burdens – just for the day. (They’ll be waiting on you.)
Then, just spend all day, thanking the Lord and praising Him for every good thing you can. Make today all about Him. And tell the Lord that’s your desire.
No worries allowed today. I find this method very helpful.

🙏🏻🙏🏻
Good morning Della,
You have had a big evening and I hope you had a marvelous time at the wedding. You rest easy friend.
Will do as I’m told. It’s a good plan. Had a co- worker from Nepal with a wise father. He once said “If you don’t know what to do, just wait and do nothing, and things often work themselves out.” Of course,,I know it’s God seeing the paths straight.
I’m relying on this right now for all of these matters. It is advice given and advice taken over many of my years.
For now, heading to church at 1030 am. Praying for a good service and for safety.
No heavy lifting today. I will cancel all my chore plans. I’ll spend time with my daughter and we will spend time in the Word together. She is not immune to this either.
Her Christian teacher… who attends our new church… will not be returning next year to the public high school. She is a young Agriculture teacher. It’s a loss and a person my daughter recognized as a “safe one”.
Good, Woo! baby steps today… can you pick up sandwich after church – head to a park, or somewhere besides the house. Just another atmosphere .. talking sometimes easier.
Maybe not focus on serious things or burdens with Savannah, (unless she brings it up)
but encouraging, joyful issues. We all need to do more of that…
just a thought.
🥰
Get some holy water, put it in a spray bottle and spray throughout your house. The evil one is always trying to make us crazy. God bless you and your daughter.
Hi Marty,
Thank you for praying for us. I often take olive oil (don’t have holy water source, but feel the elements are holy by prayer and purity).
I pray, anoint my home, our entrances and our windows… and even my daughter when she’s sleeping. (She knows this and appreciates it.)
So ours is definitely an “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” home.
The doors and entrances are for whoever goes out and whoever comes in… whoever looks out and whoever looks in.. as I pass through, anoint, and pray.
Della mentioned the other day things were heating up and it certainly seems a certain escalation.
Marty, I took your advice and anointed our home again last night and my beautiful daughter. We can’t do this “too many” times.
Hope your Linda Lou is recuperating nicely. Despite the distractions, I still pray for our brothers and sisters in the Tree.
Maybe you can give us an update with her?
Oh Joan, I wish I’d come into the Prayer Thread a little bit earlier tonight….wow, that’s quite a lot to have happening all at one time! I love that you poured out your heart like that, as we’re to bear each other’s burdens.
Will be praying for the Lord to make straight your paths in everything & for complete healing for you & prosperity from the Lord. God bless you.
I am a day late…so yes, we must bombard Heaven with prayers!
Praying for all of this….I thought osteopths were more patient centered…praying for your health!
I did farm roads first with my young drivers…gradually worked our way up the stress level…to small town streets, parking lots at the mall after hours, delaying highways for a while… etc.
I use diatomaceous earth as a parasite repellent/worm killer…put it, one teaspoon, in my pet’s food for 7 days once a week…every month. It does have its uses…don’t know the kitty kat dose, though…
Stand tough with the schools…my daughter waas seriously LD, ADHD etc…special schools etc…I stuck with it, she graduaated cum laude, with a better GPA than me…got a job as a sheriff deputy in Palm Beach County…family joke is “they gave her a car and a gun”! Maybe a women’s rights group can help if you need the court order…I would think if the kid signs something, that should be good enough?
God works in mysterious ways.
Good evening, my prayerful friends,
To Aggiegirl’s post and some developments:
1) Yes, Osteopaths are supposed to be more holistic in nature. This one is not. I went for the bloodwork re-do at the small satellite hospital close to me on Saturday. The gal at the ER registration asked me how we liked “Dr. So-And-So” and that he was new to the system. We responded honestly that we didn’t like him. She advised me she was a manager there and they had heard complaints from others about this doctor. Asked to share our info with her higher up. Lord have mercy!
2) No 2nd blood work results yet. Likely tomorrow. Maybe the first ones were meant by God to be awful, to place us where we could give testimony about the doctor? Lord have mercy!
3) Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth – EVERYWHERE. Lord have mercy!
4) New development with High School as of yesterday. Two Christians we know – leaving – including the Principal. The teacher leaving was one of only two “safe” administrators daughter knew there. Very troubling. The Superintendent of this school system is a leftist loon – I imagine the Principal replacement will be of the same ilk pushing the liberal agenda. Ran into an old co-worker I hadn’t seen in 5 years at church on Sunday. He leans pretty left and, unbeknownst to me, he formerly worked at the district as a student advocate in the courts system here and he gave me insider knowledge on further disturbing details about this district’s practices with disadvantaged children. Very alarming.
The online school has many courses that are meaty and Biblically-honoring. She’s excited by the course descriptions. It will be a major stretch for me financially, but we’ve done it before, we can do it again. Looking further at online private. Not sure daughter can pass the assessment process.
Daughter thinks she can make it for another two years to finish high school – but she’s got this gnawing concern about safety – and I feel the same. I want to feed and nourish her brain, not destroy it. Lord have mercy!
Aggiegirl – I do really appreciate hearing of folks who overcome learning disabilities. I wish it was as simple as just course understanding – this era is diabolical and it is a full-blown attack on Christianity and our children. The schools given over to absolute insanity – have ZERO INTEREST in teaching kids. They are eroding our kids’ minds, so that the kids are rendered fully submissive, fully dependent, and incompetent. I am not going to pursue a court order for my God-given right and sensibilities. Plus there are other long-term ramifications that come into play when you place guardianship over children and label them inept via a court order. (Think about how that affect estate inheritance and challenges to such.) No, we are going to find another way to beat them at their game. Lord have mercy!
5) Impromptu meeting with boss tomorrow to discuss compensation. Looking at metrics for how my position was 5 years ago to now, it is remarkable the growth and output. It simply needs another person on staff – which I have asked for for two years. His offer of help, was no help at all, and watching him revolve staff out the door gives me little ease to get over this growth hump. More money won’t matter if I can’t get some real help to take this business to the next level. Negotiating with him is like negotiating with Rumplestiltskin – everything “has a price” and his credit with me is overextended. Lord have mercy!
God does, indeed, work in mysterious ways. Sometimes He places us amongst the briar patch for His Will to be done. So be it. Lord have mercy!
Woo, wondering how your issues seem to be intertwined – could a move to different residence, different school district be in order? All the problems in the complex you’ve mentioned causes me to take note …
“But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.” Job 23:10
🙏🏻
Heavenly Father, we come to Your throne of mercy and grace where Jesus Christ rules and reigns – over everything.
He is our Great High Priest, who made a way for us to come to You, by His blood. We thank You, Lord.
We are here on behalf of JWoo, Your child, whom You saved by Your grace, and she belongs to You.
Lord, JWoo is struggling with several important issues and they seem to appear all at once.
Her body and mind are overwhelmed with these stresses, and we humbly ask Your Divine intervention.
God, You are all-knowing, all-wise, and eternal – and You love JWoo with an everlasting love. Thank You for that.
Thank You that You have a good plan for her, to give her a hope and future – to prosper her – and not to hurt her.
Lord, You are not worried about the responsibilities JWoo is juggling, because they are Your responsibilities.
And they are all small in Your eyes, since nothing is too hard for You.
Gracious God, You have promised to provide all of JWoo’s needs according to Your riches in Christ.
And You have promised to not put more on her than she can bear, but will provide a way out.
Please grant her with Your generous wisdom in the days ahead.
Help her to trust You day-by-day with Your provisions – just for that day – and not worry about tomorrow.
Give her Your strength, Peace, intelligence, and a knowledge of Your will.
Please help her to prioritize each issue according to Your desire. Show her which one to focus on – one at a time.
Lord, wrap Your tender arms around JWoo and her daughter, Savannah, drawing them close to Thee.
May they hear Your heart beating with love for them.
You know, dear Lord, how hard it is to single-parent without support.
Please hold up JWoo with Your strong Hand, and carry her every step of the way – reminding her how You have led her thus far and You won’t stop now.
Give JWoo assurance each day that her times – and her child’s – are in Your nail-scarred hands.
Remind her that all of her days were ordained by You and written in Your book before one of them came to be.
You are Sovereign and in control of their lives, O Lord. May that truth bring them both joy, gladness and comfort.
Remind her daily of Your Words which are hidden in her heart that she needs to obey.
Comfort her that You will never leave her or forsake her; instead, You will lead them both to still waters, green pastures, and safely home with You, O King Eternal.
O Lord, please remove all her fears, anxieties, and burdens as You continue teaching her to trust in You with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding.
Comfort JWoo with the knowledge that You are faithful and true, and will make a way for her when there seems to be no way.
We thank You, O God, for Your help for JWoo and Savannah.
You alone are their Refuge, Deliverer, Shelter from the Storm, Rock, and Mighty God.
We praise You, O Lord, for Your holiness and splendor. May You be glorified in their lives all of their days.
For Christ’s sake,
Shalom, Shalom…
🌷🙏🏻🌷
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN, Della… thank you. I appreciate your prayers and this place where we can share our burdens for collective prayers.
It’s a joy and a blessing to pray for you, and all who come here, Woo.
There is much work to be done in these last days!
Please reach out anytime…

Dear Fellow Treepers and Prayer Warriors,
I usually spend most of my time in the OT but today am here to ask for prayers for a young man I met only once on Christmas. He was a stranger to me within my niece’s household and family gathering. His name is Drew and I learned that he had come to be there at the behest of my nephew-in-law who is his friend. Drew had tried to commit suicide the day prior by planning to jump off a very dangerous bridge; he was stopped and saved. He is an alcoholic that was losing his wife and two little girls, distraught. I’ve been inquiring after him since and praying but yesterday after my latest check-in with my neice, I told her I would ask for help from the Treehouse, he is doing a little bit better over time. May God help Drew and his family heal and become healthy and return to an alcohol-free family unit for many years to come. Amen and thank you.
parichute, your kind gesture and merciful heart toward this young man is touching.
My family has been affected by alcoholism long ago in the extended families.
We’ve heard some heart-breaking stories and have seen the lingering effects on loved ones.
Thank God He redeemed all of them!
I’m also thankful God moved you to pray for Drew, and I offer a prayer, too.
Below are a few verses from a Psalm that is special to me.
Years ago I prayed these words every day for deliverance from depression. God heard and He answered!
“I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. (1)
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. (2)
He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him. (3)
Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me. (11)
Be pleased to save me, Lord; come quickly, Lord, to help me. (13)
But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me.
You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay. “(17)
Psalm 40
Lord God, You are our Rescuer and Deliverer, our Shield and Defender, and our Mighty King.
We humbly ask Your Divine help for Drew, his wife and two little girls.
You know all about this situation, Lord, and You are the only One Who can heal.
Drew desperately needs Your intervention and You know the best way.
Please release him from the bondage of alcohol addiction and bring total cleansing to his body.
Heal his mind, his heart, his marriage and his relationship with his daughters.
Restore all of what has been damaged, and strengthen them by Your power.
Remove all of the hurt from each family member, and replace it with Your Holy Spirit’s love, peace and joy.
Lord, You came to heal the broken-hearted and bind up their wounds. Please do that for this family.
Gracious God, please provide and direct Drew with everything and everyone he needs to get on the road to complete recovery. Bind up the devil, his demons and all the spiritual forces of evil that would tempt him to drink alcohol.
Lord, you tell us the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy – and he is doing this in Drew’s life and his family.
But a Godly family is Your plan, and they need Your Power and Your Presence to work on their behalf.
Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Your Word, and a desire to do Your Will.
May He hear Your voice day-by-day and not harden his heart, but listen to You.
Help him to follow You, as You will lead him in paths of righteousness.
Lift him out of his pit, O Lord, and put a new song in his mouth – a hymn of praise to You.
Help him to understand that You love him, and You will help him all the days of his life.
May You and Drew become intimate friends, like You and Abraham were.
Help him to love You and trust You all the days of his life.
Give him a beautiful reason to live, O Lord, because You live and are with him!
Help Drew grow in Your grace and knowledge.
Make him into a man after Your own heart, and a spiritual leader in his home – leading his family to walk in Your ways, too.
Your Word says: Call upon Me in your day of trouble. I will deliver you, and You will glorify Me.”
We are humbly calling, dear Lord. Please hear our cry…
Lord, please comfort Drew so that when he is healed, he may then be able to comfort others with the comfort You gave him.
May Drew and his family live to bring You glory and honor all the days of their lives.
We thank You, our Blessed Redeemer, for what You will do for these dear ones. They are precious in Your sight.
Lord, please bless parichute for her compassion towards this young man and his family.
Shalom,
🙏🏻🌷🙏🏻
Amen.
Thank you Joe! Amen is right.
Hello,
Please contin4ue to pray the Lord open doors with our kids. We have had a small breakthrough and would like continued prayer!
I will post more tomorrow.
Thanks!
David and Angela
In unity, and in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Oh Miss Della, how can I possible thank you for the time, heart and thoughtfulness in your words and prayers today? You are truly a gift from God. My heart is bursting and weeping all at once from the Love and the humility of my own inadequacies when it comes to supplication. Love.
Pari, it’s my joy to pray for those in need!
Please, give yourself grace!
All of us are inadequate apart from the Holy Spirit…
And here is the truth: the Power of prayer is NOT in the spoken words; but the Power is in the ONE to whom the words are spoken! That is the Lord God…
Many times all I can pray is “help me, Lord.”
That’s wonderful news he’s going to rehab – God is already at work! Praise be to God…
blessings…
Dear Parichute,
Lord, in all His Goodness and Mercy, sheltered Drew from taking that fateful and final step. Thus, The Lord Is not finished with him, yet, and He has Plans for Drew’s future – to bless him and not harm him.
It is a bleak situation to be enslaved to addiction – and one that the addict must choose and insist to break free from.
I pray Drew gets a taste of his freedom and that it inspires a mighty hunger in him to break free… permanently. People can be… and are… released every day from addiction… and theirs is the daily choice to not relapse. I pray Drew’s taste of his freedom is so sweet that he flees from the clutches of addiction and that it be such a profound experience that there will be no allure to the temptations that keep him in satan’s clutches.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, I demand satan LET GO and RELEASE Drew!
I pray God work on Drew’s heart and Spirit to gently restore him to his marital vows and that his precious wife will finally see the man in whom she loved and devoted herself to – and that Drew will find a place of honor, respect, and devotion in his children’s eyes.
Father, Abba, please give Drew and his family and friends this precious gift. A life renewed and from this moment forward… clean and holy. May Your Mercy be his miracle and his testimony of Your Lovingkindness.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
JWoo,
This heartfelt missive brought tears to my eyes, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you and so many others in the Tree OT and Prayer Thread. You’ve written a powerful prayer for Drew and his loved ones. I learned today that he agreed to go into rehab. Praise the Lord and Abba Father!
Our family has been shattered. We are Christian parents and our children have rejected us. We have a long and miserable tale which is too heartbreaking to share. I am asking for prayer that our family be reunited, restored and healed by the holy hand of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Please pray for open doors to relationship with our kids.
David & Angela, I’m sorry to hear of this. I may not know the details of your story, but rest assured God does. He can do & does do exceedingly. I pray for healing & restoration for your family, that the Spirit of the Lord would deal with your children’s hearts & bind up whatever wounds there may be, & for comfort for you both. God bless you.
Amen.
David and Angela,
There is little worse than the shattering of a family, though we know in times like these… it will happen. A dedication to worldliness sets a direct conflict with holiness and the two do not comfortably co-exist.
The Word of God says that if you bring up a child in the way of the Lord that when he grows up he will not depart from it. My dear friends, I pray that you will lean into that Scripture and make it yours.
There is a recurring theme in many of our prayers… mine included… and it is to get others to live out Christian faith in the manner we believe… and the Word of God says… that they should. Though each of us has our own journey, our own rebellion, our own tripping and mistakes that make our walk with The Lord unique. It gives us each our special story.
Conversions to Christ often come from really crooked paths and sordid histories.
I pray each of you, David and Angela, peace be still. I pray you rest and I pray that whatever you are gripping – you release it all (all of it) fully to The Lord’s Care. For none of these here on this earth actually belong to us. Everyone and everything belongs to HIM and He Will see fit to do with it all as He pleases.
Letting go does not stop you from loving – quite the opposite. Letting go is trusting God with the results (yes, I am totally speaking to myself here too… as per all my cares and concerns herewithin.) Can we TRUST GOD with the results and can we wait on HIS PERFECT TIMING not trying to ourselves control the outcome? Because we know… if we push someone else to do it the way we want it done… then it is not a true conversion. That’s why God gave us free-will – so we can freely and fully love Him of our own accord and Spiritual purity.
I pray that your wait in seeing results is not long and that you can love, and be loved, by your family. In the meantime, I hope you will continue to come here to seek prayer and pray for us and others in the family of God in which we are one.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Have you ever seen the move “War Room” with Priscilla Shirer? It’s so good ministering to broken families and how we should set ourselves in prayer to fight for our families. It might be nice for you both to snuggle up together with a bowl of popcorn and maybe a box of kleenex for tears – and watch how that story plays out on your screen. Maybe it would provide you some comfort and hope. I pray so! Love you guys!
Amen.
David and Angela, my heart weeps with yours over this brokenness. And we know the source of this great evil – the devil.
Please take comfort that he is a defeated foe, and God has the last Word.
The Lord came to heal the broken-hearted and bind up their wounds.
My family, along with many others, has also experienced painful heartache over relationship issues.
As we read the accounts in the Scriptures and observe our culture, Satan’s primary object is to destroy the family – a healthy and holy one as God intended.
All of us on this planet are flawed people and we need our Savior’s help.
Take heart – the Lord is willing and able to restore your family!
a prayer:
Heavenly Father, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord Who heals.
You are the God of all Grace – sufficient Grace.
You are All-wise and All-powerful.
Your compassions never fail and Your mercies are new every morning.
Great is Your faithfulness, O Lord.
You are our Sustainer, Rescuer and Mighty King.
You are our Everything we need in life, and we thank You for that.
Lord, You know all about David and Angela’s broken family, and it grieves Your heart.
You understand their family’s pain because You were separated – for a little while – from Your precious Son, Jesus Christ, as He hung on the cross for our sins.
You know each person’s heart and mind, including the reasons for their behaviors.
Bring the children to their senses, and cause them to see the error of their ways.
Open their ears to hear Your voice and not harden their hearts.
May they willingly come to You, to the Cross, and repent of their sins.
Create a new heart in them – a heart like Yours – and move them to follow Your decrees.
Give them a hunger and thirst for You – to want to know You and please You as long as they live.
Bring them back to their family, strengthening their bond and love for one another for all of their days.
Gracious God, please comfort David and Angela as only You can do as they wait – patiently- on You.
Give them Your Peace that You are with them and You are at work in their family’s lives.
Help them to trust You with all of their hearts and not lean on their own understanding.
Give them Your strength when they are weak.
Continue to teach them that Your Grace is sufficient for all of their needs.
Please minister to them – day by day – through this great trial.
Give them Your wisdom to see this tragedy through Your eyes – that Your ways are higher than our ways.
And Your way is perfect, righteous and good.
Many times that involves pain, but You, O Lord, bring beauty out of ashes.
Help David and Angela to wait in hope for You to bring about a righteous result.
May they fix their eyes on You and not on the surrounding circumstances.
Be Thou Their Vision, O Lord, of their hearts.
Lord, lead David, Angela, and their children in the way everlasting – for Your namesake.
May their lives be a testimony of Your goodness and greatness, dear God, that others will come to know You as Savior and Lord because of their witness for You.
We humbly thank You for hearing us, caring about us, and working on our behalf.
We do not deserve Your lovingkindness, but we gratefully accept it from Your gracious Hand, O Lord.
We exalt You and worship You, our Blessed Redeemer.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom.
🌷🙏🏻🌷
Amen.
Thank you all for your prayers. We are indeed hopeful that the Lord will open doors with our kids.
David and Angela, yes, the Lord will open those doors – and nothing will be able to close them!
We are believing with you both – in His Mighty power – including His ways and His timing.
Keep the faith – in HIM, not the surroundings.
(a lesson I’m still learning…)
Blessings,
🙏🏻🙏🏻

I ask you all to pray for my daughter, who has ALS and into her 4th year with no new hope in store for people suffering with this disease. It is not a money maker for big pharm. However, two young college students saw somethin in their research, parents mortgaged their home, took out loans and when ran out of money sold their find to big pharm, which has marketed the drug under AMX0035, which my daugher was able to get, it is not a cure, it may prolong life for 12 to 18 mos. In the meantime we have hope something will burst onto the scene and cure ALS, but not hopeful so we need prayers. Thank you for reading my post.
Prayers for all here even though I don’t respond everyday I do pray for all here everyday. I will add your daughter to my prayer list as well as for you. I will say prayers of thanks for the college students in their research…truly Gods angels! May God keep watch over your daughter as she battles this disease. Please keep us informed. God bless you babumjane. I pray you feel the hand of Jesus holding yours during this battle.
Amen, amen.
This touches my heart, Nana …
Praying blessings for you, too.
🌷
Jane, I pray for your dear daughter that the mercies of the Lord would be upon her, strengthening & comforting her through this. I pray that despite her condition she might rejoice in that coming glad day when we will have glorified bodies free from the effects of this sin-soaked world & our fallen state. I pray that this drug might help her & that you & she would have your time together enriched by the Lord. And we proclaim the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ Who is able to heal anything whether an earthly cure exists or not. May the Lord bless you both.
Amen, amen.
Joe, your ministry here grips my heart … thank you.
Did you get a new avatar?
OR, did I just notice it? (entirely possible, haha)
🌷
God bless you, Miss Della. I had a different one for a number of years, but I think I changed to this one some time ago.
Praying for your daughter and her battle against Lou Gehrig’s disease.May our Lord help her in her struggle and provide her with any medicines that can relieve the symptoms.
Praying for you as well babumjane, for the strength to care for your daughter and for faith to hope for a cure.
In Jesus’ Holy Name we ask.Amen.
Amen, amen.
Blessings on you, Casco…
🌷
babumjane, I’m so sorry about your’s daughter’s disease and have heard that ALS is very difficult. Again, I am sorry.
Years ago, I learned of a woman named Jennifer Rothschild who began to go blind at age fifteen.
Her devastated mother said both she and her daughter needed God’s grace to make it through.
She asked God to give her daughter “participant” grace, and to give her “spectator” grace.
These terms are not in the Bible, but I understand what she meant.
It is extremely painful to watch a loved one suffer while being unable to do anything.
That requires God’s “spectator” grace.
I know this is painful for your daughter, but also for you, Babum, and will pray for you all.
(Jennifer went on to grow up, get married, have a family, and a ministry to help others. She still has a presence on the www.)
O gracious Father in heaven, You are our Maker, and the Author and Giver of life.
You are our merciful God and full of compassion.
You love us with an everlasting love, even sending Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die for us.
We love You and we thank You for Your lovingkindness towards us.
Lord, we lift up babumjane and her daughter to You for help.
You know all about B’s daughter – where she is, what she’s doing, and what she needs – especially fighting this horrible disease.
Be her Strength, be her Guide, be her Refuge, be her Shelter from the storm.
Lord, we know You can do all things and nothing is impossible with You.
Thank you, God, for Your infinite wisdom and plan for B’s daughter.
Your ways are higher than our ways, and we thank You, especially when we don’t understand them.
Please provide B’s daughter with everything she needs until she sees You, face-to-face.
Give her abundant Grace and Your perfect Peace that transcends all understanding.
Send relief and comfort to her physical body, and to her soul, because she knows Thou art with her.
Take away any fear, anxiety, or hopelessness and fill her with the knowledge that You, O Righteous God, will not withhold any good thing from her.
Give her Your Resurrection power in this battle and lead her on to victory, O King Eternal.
Lord, You are the Light of the world – the Light that never fades.
Make her paths clear and bright as You shine the Light of Your face upon her, day-by-day.
You are Immanuel, God with us.
Help B’s daughter to sense Your Presence and Your Power and Your Peace with her in a special way.
Satisfy her soul – every moment and each circumstance – that You are enough for her, O Gracious God.
O Lord God, please touch babumjane and grant her Your Grace as she watches her child suffer.
You understand her heart and mind, as You, too, watched Your Perfect Son suffer on a cross.
Please help this family in ways that You know best.
May they trust You with all of their hearts in this situation and those to come.
Help them to commit everything into Your hands – nail-scarred hands.
May they never lose sight that You love them and are with them – even to the end of the age.
Remind them, dear Lord, that surely mercy and goodness will follow them all the days of their lives.
We thank You, Lord, for all that You do for this family. May each one live to bring You glory and honor.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom, Shalom = perfect peace.

Please pray for WC. God knows who I mean. Man needs it.
Thank you.
WiscoDave,
For the unknown and unseen, in unity, I pray with you that God’s Perfect Way will take priority in WC’s life. May WC break strongholds and find rest in God’s Faithful and Sure Arms. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
May the Lord touch this man with His mighty provision. God bless, Wisco.
WiscoDave, a true friend is a rare treasure — especially one who knows to take his troubled friend to the Lord.
There is no better place for help than to the throne of Jesus Christ, where our Great High Priest reigns.
And, He is ready to pour out His mercy and grace to help us in our time of need.
God bless you, Wisco, for standing in the gap for WC.
a prayer:
O God, thank You that we can call You our Father in heaven – all because of Jesus.
Thank You for sending all people the greatest gift in the world – the Lord Jesus Christ.
We humbly come to Your throne on behalf of WC.
Lord, Your name is El Roi, meaning “the God Who sees me.”
You see WC, You know everything about him, and You love him.
Before he was formed in the womb – by You – You knew him.
You know, O God, when he sits and when he gets up.
You know his every thought; before a word is in his mouth, You know that, too.
You search his heart, and examine his mind.
And You, dear God, do not want him to perish but to come to repentance.
Lord God, You are a Defender of the weak and a strong Deliverer.
Please continue to draw WC to Yourself with lovingkindness.
Remove his heart of stone and put Your heart within Him.
Bring him to his senses that he may begin the journey of faith in Christ.
Please lead him to the cross – and to his knees – in repentance and worship of You, Holy God.
Restore his soul – and his life – to righteousness for Your namesake.
Purify his heart, O Lord, and make him a new creation in Christ.
Help WC to call on Your name for Salvation and look to You as his Master, King, and Lord.
Strengthen him, guide him, and satisfy him with Your great love.
Give him a hunger and thirst for You – and feed him from Your bounty, O Lord.
Cause him to seek You with all of his heart and find You.
Pour Your grace upon him day-by-day, as he lives for You and dies to self.
Help WC to look to You for everything he desires in life; may Your desires become his.
Teach him Your will and help him to gladly do it.
Lord, bring him into Your kingdom, and write his name in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Engrave his name on the palm of Your hand, O God,
Protect him from evil and dangers; deliver him from all his temptations.
Fill WC with Your Peace, Your Power, and Your Presence all his days.
Lord, please bless WiscoDave as he compassionately cares for his friend, and minister to all his needs, too.
We thank You for helping WC with whatever he needs.
Lord, You know best, and we trust You to work on his behalf.
Jesus told us that His Father (You) is “always” at work.
You are faithful to Your promises, and You never fail.
Your mercies are new every morning.
We love You, O Most Righteous Lord.
For Christ’s sake and His kingdom, Amen.

Hello, I need prayer for myself although feel selfish to ask. I have nerve pain in my head that pulses every few seconds and hard to tolerate. Called my dr and she is on vacation. It hasn’t improved in 24 hours. Medicine, heat or anything I’ve tried hasn’t helped at all. I have always appreciated this community for the faith shown here and the daily prayers. I will be most appreciative of any prayers.
Sgnr, I will pray but first:
I’m not a medical person but this could be symptom of serious issue.
Don’t wait for doc to return.
Does doc have on call help?
Do you have urgent care facility or ER close by?
Better safe than sorry!
Do NOT ever feel guilty asking for prayer for yourself, please.
Prayer to follow.
Please check back and let us know about you!
Lord God, Sgnr needs Your Divine help and intervention with head pain.
Please direct his steps in what to do.
Please provide the medical care necessary for any tests and treatment.
Please send forth Your healing power, Gracious God.
Make a way for him to get medical attention and heal him.
Please give him confidence in You alone and fill him with Your peace.
Remind him that You are in control of all things, including his body and life and that You love him.
Thank You, Precious Saviour that we can call on You for help and cast our cares on You.
In the Name of Christ, for His sake.
Shalom!
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for the prayers Miss Della. I appreciate it more than I can express. Your words are words of wisdom. I went that route before (ER) although that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t apply this time. Before they did tests and said see primary dr. From there months of run around started. Eventually I found a dr at a big university and took a year to get in. He’s no longer there and not in patient care. Previously not as much pain as other symptoms but pain is a common symptom. The dr’s office today didn’t call back and I called them before closing. They just said take migraine medicine. I had taken it twice but they seemingly didn’t hear those words. I just don’t know what to do. It hasn’t improved since this morning. Fear doesn’t help although the Bible tells us do not fear. I get scared when I can’t find help or relief. I don’t know if it’s where I live or the field in general. Thank you for listening.
Sgnr, thank you much for checking back! I’ve been concerned about you all afternoon and praying more that the Lord help you. He will. Please keep faith in Him and His Power.
But, you really should seek care somewhere and get a thorough diagnosis.
Not to be nosy – but is this something you’ve had before? And it never went away?
Have they told you it is definitely migraine?
For me – it’s easier to cope with pain if you know what is causing it, and other things have been ruled out.
Are you near an ER hospital in bigger city?
Many times the smaller hospitals are not.equipped.
Is there someone close to you that can drive you to ER?
If not, why not call the 911. If they come to your residence, they should be able to take you there for evaluation.
I really do care about you and your pain.
I will pray again and would love for you to keep us posted here.
Other prayer warriors check this thread late in the evening. They will pray for you, too.
Please don’t fear – your times are in God’s mighty hands, and He loves you.
Dear Lord, You are our Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, and we humbly ask Your help for Sgnr.
God, You know all about his situation with head pain, and You love him.
You know it’s a fearful thing when our bodies hurt and we can’t get relief.
It’s even hard to think straight, Lord.
But we thank You, dear God, that You are a God of mercy and compassion. You hurt when we hurt.
You are a God Who heals us. You are a God Who guides us. You are the One Who makes a way out of the desert. You are Sgnr’s Maker and he belongs to You.
Please bring relief to Sgnr’s pain. Please fill him with Your Peace.
Remind him that he is not alone but You are with him. Immanuel – God with us.
Please put Sgnr on the right path to get quick medical care from the proper physicians who can diagnose and treat him with compassion and excellent skills.
Help Sgnr to trust You with all his heart, Lord, in this circumstance.
You will not let him suffer more than he can bear, but You will provide a way out.
You tell us Lord to call upon You in our day of trouble and You will deliver us and we will glorify You.
We are obeying You and calling on Your name – for nothing is too hard for You.
Please rescue and deliver him, our Great Physician.
We believe You, Lord. Strengthen Sgnr’s faith as he waits on You.
You are always on time and will not fail him.
We love You and thank You for Your tender care for Sgnr.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom.

Sgnr, I apoplogize if you are female as I refer to you as a HIM in the prayer.
But the Lord knows who you are. 🌷🌷
Thank you again Miss Della. When I was a little girl, my mother would take me to a lady down the street who would pray for me and I would fall asleep being comforted by her prayers. You remind me of her in your prayers and trying to help and show God’s love. Previously the medical community didn’t really commit to a diagnosis. They said atypical face pain, nerve spasm, etc. The dental community thought TMJ related. I do live in a city. I would rather avoid ER if I can. I hear the wait time is so long and have concerns about the (c) you-know-what. I will call some medical leads tomorrow. It’s hard to get in with one without a long wait time. My primary care dr quit during the pandemic. The university dr was in another city. I will try them but don’t expect to get a timely appt. If I can’t sleep, I will read your prayers for comfort. You are a dear sweet person to take time for me.
Sgnr, thanks for checking back!
Glad to know you’re female! Not that it makes any difference tin prayers. God knows.
I truly am sorry you’re dealing with this pain and wish I could help you. But the Lord can do much more than I can!
The Lord Jesus asks His followers to carry one another’s burdens, and to love one another.
I love Him with my whole heart, and want to be His hands and feet here on earth.
Sgnr, it is the Spirit of Jesus within me that is ministering to you. He is only using me to reach out.
Please let me know tomorrow how you are?
Again, I know very little about medical care.
It couldn’t hurt to take come kind of pain relief from the drug store, like Advil or Ibuprphen.
Unless it interferes with other medications you may be on.
Maybe try a cool wet rag instead of heat.
Relax if you can tonite and sleep.
May God help you rest with peaceful sleep. He neither slumbers nor sleeps but watches over us.
Shalom.
p.s. I’m in my seventies now, and have had Covid twice. I am not afraid anymore of it.
It’s all in God’s hands – nail-scarred hands.
Sgnr,
You are in prayers!
I would suggest you try a reputable chiropractor, and a chiropractic neurologist if you can locate one (good ones can be hard to find).
Praying for your return to health!
Oh Sgnr, reading this thread has made my heart ache for you. I hate for anyone to feel scared but I certainly understand it. Just know that you have people here who love & care about you, but far more importantly you have Jesus with you Who is able to do for you exceedingly. I pray that the Lord would remove your pain & then lead you to the right place so a proper diagnosis of this can be made. I pray that you might be wrapped in the comfort of His loving arms & that He would strengthen you beyond all measure. God bless you, dear lady.
Amen.Praying for you Sgnr.
Miss Della, Flora, Joe, and Casco thank you for your kindness and prayers. Unfortunately we seem to live in a world or maybe it’s my city where kindness doesn’t seem to be the norm. You touch my heart and I wish I knew you in person. I managed to sleep with medicine until it wore off and awoke early. The pain is the same and intense when it pulses. I called the doctor at the university that is several hours away. They said it can take 3 days to answer. It didn’t sound like they would do anything except tell me to come in for an appointment and those are far out with a PA and even farther out with a doctor. I am looking for other leads frustrating as it is. I thought about a chiropractor but I’m a little afraid and like you say it’s hard to find a good one or any good doctor of any kind. I went through trying to find help a few years ago with similar symptoms but more tenderness than pain. They told me to see a neurologist but I couldn’t get in with any.
Hello, Sgnr, glad to hear from you, but sorry you still have pain!
You are right – kindness is indeed a rarity today – everywhere!
It’s hard to talk anonymously on this public place, but I wondered if you are in the United States.
It sounds as if you have to wait unreasonable length of time for appointment – and then, there are no specialists available.
Since you are in much pain, can you call your primary doc office again – and explain your urgent situation to the nurse? Not the appointment clerk.
Sometimes primary docs can intervene and get their patient in to see a specialist, too.
Sounds like you just need some answers as to what is causing the pain – then, proper treatment can begin. Often that requires an elimination process, especially with headache pains.
Hopefully, you will keep at it – scheduling a doctor, a dentist, and so on, until someone figures it out!
I believe they will if you persist!
I will keep praying for you, Sgnr. Please keep faith in the Lord. He is willing and able to help you.
Here is a comforting Scripture promise for you:
“I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go;
I will give you counsel and watch over you.”
Psalm 32:8
Please let us know if you need prayer again.
Also, please keep us posted about yourself.
We care about you, dear one!
Miss Della, you ask helpful questions. I am in the US and have insurance that is widely accepted. I think the issue is almost all doctors here work for the big systems. Some who do not are concierge. Many many years ago I remember reading a letter from a doctor in the local paper saying it was next to impossible to run a private practice here and he was moving. Wish I had kept the article. Would be interesting now to see what he said.
I did speak to nurses at both offices. The university doctor answered today and said I would need to come in for an appointment since I had not been there recently.. I did not know about that policy. He had told me to return as needed. They didn’t offer an appointment so I’m guessing a longer wait time. I’m guessing he would have said come in for appointment anyway but I might have gotten in sooner.
I had some periods of relief from pain but it comes back maybe when medicine wears off. Anti inflammatory, not pain meds except OTC. I had hoped yesterday it was going away. I spoke to someone who gave me some leads on finding a local doctor. I am hoping it is prayers being answered.
I hope the Lord will bless all of you for your kind hearts and helping hands.
Hello, Sgnr, so good to hear back — you’ve been in my prayer today!
I believe you’re right about changes in medical care. Have heard other reports about the smaller practices being forced out. We live in semi-rural area, but travel to the metro city for health care specialists. They’re just not here in our small community.
Sgrn, I would encourage you to get scheduled with the university doctors – even if it’s a long wait.
In meantime, follow your lead with the new local doctor – and – schedule appt with your regular primary doc. Then, you’ll have access to several medically-trained minds.
Also, schedule appointment with a good dentist to check for TMJ. I’ve heard that it can cause pain, too. At least, you’ll be on the path to getting a diagnosis. Just don’t give up!
The Lord will help you every step of the way!
If regular docs cannot diagnose the pain source, consider checking with specialty clinics, like Mayo. Someone will be able to help you.
Hopefully, you can keep the pain manageable with OTC meds till you see the doc.
Try an ice pack for ten minutes, every hour, for a bit. We have done this (per doctor’s instructions) for inflamed tendons, muscles, bones. It seems to help.
These are my thoughts, and want to see you feel better.
God does hear our cries for help and He answers!
Remember that He knows best and oftentimes we have to wait for Him to work – arranging the pieces in our lives – and in other’s lives – to bring about the answer.
So, we patiently wait on Him, trust in Him, and keep watch.
Because God is faithful and righteous, He will make a way. He is the Way.
Sgnr, please check back and keep us posted on your progress.
I will continue to pray for you and your hardship.
And, please ask for prayer anytime you need someone to help lighten your burden.
God is honored when we seek Him. And we all need His help!
a prayer:
Gracious God, thank You for being our Rock, our Fortress, and our Strength.
You are our Deliverer, our Refuge, and our Great Physician.
Lord, You are our Guide, and our Light in the darkness.
Please answer Sgnr from Your holy heaven with the saving power of Your right hand.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
Lord, we are here with humble hearts, asking You to provide Sgnr with everything she needs to be made whole.
Please relieve her pain. Remove her fears, anxieties, and frustrations.
Please provide the perfect physician and health care to help her heal.
Lord, help Sgnr to grow closer to You through this trial.
Make Yourself known to her in unforgettable ways.
Help her to experience Your Peace and Your Presence every day, every hour.
Help her faith – in You – to be so strong it can move mountains.
Please help her to trust in You, O Lord, with all of her heart.
Teach her what she needs to know, give her what she needs to have, and make her more like Thee.
We thank You, O God, for Your mercy and compassion.
Thank You for Your tender care for Sgnr and what You will do for her.
We worship You, as You alone are worthy of our affections, O Lord.
In the name of Jesus, our Savior, Amen.
Shalom.
🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻
Dear Sgnr,
I have been off platform for a bit, so sorry to interject so late. I am not doctor, however have had some rather unique situations in our experiences. May I ask? Does this pain happen at certain times of the year, or is it year-round?
You mentioned nerve pain in your head, but is it in the front of your head, or on the side above your ears?
My daughter when she was little – she would feel really bad. I would year after year take her to the doctor certain it was an ear infection or something needing medical intervention. It turns out, that our eustachian tubes would become so inflamed and collapse… rendering us miserable.
Over the counter Flonase. Have you tried this? If you go to Costco, they have a really reasonably priced generic version, called Aller-Flo.
Maybe, just maybe… you have something similar to what we experience? It certainly wouldn’t hurt to try, especially when so exasperated by ER’s, medical doctors who no longer practice medicine and simply write prescriptions benefiting Big Pharma. Also, we eat bananas – they are high in potassium. Potassium does excellent things, as well as Magnesium vitamin supplements for pain.
Though, I would try the Flonase first. Follow the directions. Give it about three days and let’s just see if anything changes.
Additionally, I feel compelled to ask you about mold. Where you live, are the air ducts clean? Do you change your HVAC filters frequently and use high quality HEPA filters? Mold and unclean air systems will wreak havoc on headaches.
Father, God, Abba!
We come to you in unity for Sgnr, Your precious daughter who You redeemed on The Cross for her soul. She is precious in Your Sight. Father, I ask that this pain in her head be arrested, collected, and removed. Father, make the treatment simple and not expensive, nor intrusive. Give her peace. Give her clarity of mind; physically, emotionally, and Spiritually and help her to sleep soundly lying in Your Most Capable and Loving Arms.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, I pray, AMEN
Hey Woo, thanks for your insights – of which never occurred to me. (duh)
Sgnr, JWoo is spot on with her comments.
Perhaps there are few things you can do at home – just play detective to see if something helps.
Mold is a serious health problem. Please rule that out.
Sinus issues can cause pain. I recently had sinus surgery in March.
I use Flonase, it’s OTC, and won’t hurt you.
My doc says it takes daily use for about six weeks before improvement in sinus issues.
The directions say two squirts in each nostril. He says to do one squirt in the a.m., and one squirt in the p.m., daily.
And a multi vitamin every day won’t hurt either in case you’re missing some elements.
Lastly, while at the dentist checkup, see if you’re clinching or grinding teeth during night.
This can cause pain. There’s a mouth guard they make for it.
Lord Jesus, please show Sgnr the way.
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Yes, AMEN, and hello, sister Della. Teeth…. another culprit that can sure feel neurological in nature.
Sensodyne toothpaste can help a sore tooth if dental is nothing serious!
These are very inexpensive options and hopefully any of them will bring you relief.
Hugs from the Tree
Sgnr,
I sounds like you have pain from an irritated nerve (neuralgia, neuropathic pain). Long-term use of nsaids can cause other problems, so be sure to let your doctor know what you are taking and how long. Also, look at a dermatome map for the head and neck (it shows the nerves), and print out one that matches where you feel pain, and mark it to be able to show the doctor exactly where you feel pain. One of my best friends is a chiropractic neurologist, and I don’t do doctors!
Praying for you!
Miss Della, I went and put ice on it when I read your post. It seemed to help that night and the next day. Today nothing is helping – not ice, heat, meds. They only gave me enough meds through tomorrow. I do have TMJ issues. While I don’t have pain in the joint, it could be related.
JWoo you think like I do. I try to look at any contributing factor. Did I do something stupid? I sometimes pray for God to make me aware if I start to do something I shouldn’t and then I have to pray to pay attention. I apprectiate all and do try suggestions. I use saline spray and Xlear. Flonase never seemed to help. We have a new hvac and they said the ducts were good. We change furnace filters every month. We have air purifiers and dehumidifier.
Flora, I think it is a nerve based on what they told me before. It hurts behind my ear and sometimes goes up higher. It feels like a clamp squeezes the nerve and let’s go and repeats. If I hiccup, move slightly, don’t move – all seem to cause pain. Scalp is tender, sensitive to touch. Can a chiropractor help? Does it need to be a neuro chiropractor?
I have an appointment tomorrow with a dr I don’t know. Just a random find. I don’t like that but don’t know what else to do. I don’t know when my migriane (neurologist) will be back in the office. I will call the university dr and see how far out the appointment is and then ask if he knows anyone in my city that can help. I am worried about getting exposed to something in an office but I guess I have to go. I don’t think they will do virtual.
Love to all of you for talking to me and praying for me. It helps to have understanding and support.
Hello Sgnr, so glad to hear back — it is a delight to pray for you and also dialogue.
Sometimes we are stronger when putting our minds together!
Hope your doc visit tomorrow will be helpful.; also, hope you’ll check back and let us know if you find out anything.
Please consider seeing a dentist soon, too. TMJ can cause pain, so can teeth clenching.
After reading your post, I was reminded of a time I had pain for weeks around my left ear.
Went to ear, nose, throat doc (ENT) and he discovered that I was clenching teeth, and referred me to a dentist. All along, I thought it was my ear.
Sgnr, do you feel comfortable saying what part of the US you live? If not, that’s fine!
I live in Georgia.
I’m still praying for your pain relief.
And, please don’t worry about being exposed to sickness in the doc office.
God will take care of you. Every step of the way…
”Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
🙏🏻🌷🙏🏻
I hope the doctor tomorrow brings you relief Signr. Your description of location of pain suddenly brought to mind Shingles.
I am no doctor, but I hope this is something simple and treatable.
I also wish I had a best friend like flora’s… a neuro chiropractor. They are the best kind. I worked for one doing his transcription… he was terrific.
Hopefully this doctor you’re seeing will be wonderful and/or you can find one of these excellent holistic chiropractors.
Love right back to you, friend. May God grant you merciful sleep.
Sgnr,
While at the doctor’s, ask about a possible prescription plus refill of Diflucan (oral antifungal, 5 days). It is possible to have a fungal infection in your sinuses and even eustachian tubes (I have had them, typically after taking an antibiotic or working with moldy leaves in the yard). A radiologist may or may not identify it, and if they did a swab for bacteria, it is not bacterial nor viral. The symptoms can mimic non-fungal sinusitis. Flonase would not help with a fungal infection.
I know you dislike meds, but I would ask the doctor’s thoughts.
Keeping you in prayers!
Prayers for you all week. Hoping and praying your doctor appointment has helped you resolve your pain and a diagnosis has been made or at least a path for discovery and healing. Blessings to you. Be not afraid. Many friends here on this limb…some “vocal” and many quiet prayer warriors. You are never alone..remember this.
I’m not sure what to think about the appt. The doctor was nice enough but didn’t let me tell him all my symptoms or what I consider related med history. He thinks a problem with neck. It was unclear that what he thought about the pain behind my ear. He talked about headache in a certain area and I said I don’t have headache there and my pain is not like a headache. He said have MRI and then injection or he could do injection without MRI. He was not a neurologist. He offered a medication that some circles don’t care for. I said no. He may be a good dr but I didn’t leave feeling confident being heard or understanding of the problem. He didn’t give me any instructions like heat or ice or anything like that. The office didn’t seem busy so I don’t think he was rushed.
I checked with my neurologist and she won’t be back for a few weeks and no appts till Aug. I think I mentioned my primary care quit. I called 2 PCP offices today and neither seemed like a good fit. I am concerned now that it could be 2 problems. I think I need a neurologist to evaluate but once again can’t get appointment. I certainly don’t want to be dr hopping. I ran into these problems before and it’s frustrating.
My pain was some better Monday until early evening. Then it moved to sharp repetitive pains in front of the ear. The next morning it was back to behind the ear. I am careful about what I eat and had soup for dinner. I have a dental appointment soon.
Miss Della, I wouldn’t mind saying where except it’s public. I’ll just say south east. I lived in Georgia once. Lovely state and people. Did you grow up there if you can say here?
jWoo and Flora, those are both good suggestions to ask. I will it add it to my list of questions.
NanaB thank you for the prayers and encouragement. I am one of the quiet people who usually just read or listen and say prayers. I like what you say about be not afraid. We need to hear those words. I am a Nana too.
I am so appreciative to all of you and grateful to God for letting me find you.
Hello Sgnr, glad to hear from you – I was thinking of you today!
Sorry the doc visit wasn’t that great – but, I’m not surprised.
It’s almost impossible to find quality medical care these days.
Times have changed for the worse.
There are still good ones, but it’s like finding needle in haystack..
I know the Lord will give you His guidance – by His Spirit – in the days to come.
And love what Nana says – don’t be afraid!
Faith in God and fear can’t live in our hearts at the same time. Choose faith!
Every time a fearful thought arises, show it the back door!
Have to chuckle when reading your comment and Nana’s about quiet prayer warriors here.
I might be “wordy” in my prayer, but not on other side of the screen…I’m not like that at all. 😂😂
Glad I got to meet you, tho, not under these difficult circumstances.
Hope you will come back and let us know about you, as I will continue to pray!
I understand about the public information. However, I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and lived in Georgia all of my life, except for few years as a child in Florida. We moved out of the metro area, into semi-rural community and love it.
So, I’m a true Southerner…
I’m a Nana, too, and that’s the name I love to hear: hey, Nana!
Hope you feel better soon, Sgnr…
Shalom.

Prayers needed!
Part 1 Michele Bachmann MN, strong Christian politician – speaks re giving up USA’s sovereignty to the UN/WHO. Meeting coming up soon – believe May 22nd~23rd. Once passed won’t have to be ratified by anyone – pResident signed bill that’ll immediately make it law.
If you only have time to watch one of these two 20min vids, watch #2. She shares what to do to give best impact if you call ph# to Congress (1ph# to reach both Houses).
Prayers definitely needed. Treaty was expected to pass last year, May 2022 and ONE country prevented that – seems prayers prevailed and God took action. Need now to reach out to Him again!
Freedom of ANYTHING is done if this happens. QR code assignment planned for every person – the unique ID# that we’re all familiar with – no buying, selling, or pretty much anything to do living will be allowed w/o it. Part 2 below…
Today my spirit is compelled to leave this prayer. I apologize for its length and any repetition.
Just pouring out my heart to God. These are serious days in which we’re living…
I ask the Lord to save everyone who reads it and bring them into the kingdom of His Son.
Also, I ask Him to give each person all that they need for life. He is El Shaddai … our All-Sufficient God.

When a nation lives righteously as God commands, He prospers and protects it.
Scripture says, “Happy (blessed) is the nation whose God is the Lord …” Psalm 33:12.a
Our nation – as a whole – is not happy, because its God is not the Lord.
God wants all people to live happily, peacefully, and at rest.
But there are many stubborn, rebellious ones who could care less.
So, then, others suffer the consequences for their disobedience and sins – and everyone pays.
History shows that a nation who does not honor the Lord destroys itself from within.
When a nation turns away from God, He removes His protective hand and lets them receive what they demand.
“God builds up nations, and He destroys them; He expands nations, and He abandons them.” (Job 12:23)
“He strips kings of understanding and leaves them wandering in a pathless wasteland. (24)
They grope in the darkness without a light; He makes them stagger like drunkards.” (25)
>> sound familiar?!
“The nations are in uproar; kingdoms fall. He lifts His voice; the earth melts. (Psalm 46:6)
Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations He has brought upon the earth.” (8)
“Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? (1)
The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against His Anointed One. (2)
The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. (4)
Then He rebukes them in His anger and terrifies them in His wrath; (5). Psalm 2
a prayer:
We come before You, Almighty God, to acknowledge that You are God. There is no other.
You are the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of love with those who love Him and fear Him.
From everlasting to everlasting, You are God, Who sustains us. And we are grateful.
Lord, we come to You in repentance and with broken, contrite hearts.
This once-great nation, the United States, is in a pit of corruption and darkness, and its people need You.
Thank you, O God, that You do not treat us as our sins deserve – You are patient with us.
But Your patience will not last forever. Bring us to our senses today – since we have no guarantee of tomorrow.
Bring us to the cross of Jesus Christ, and to our knees in Godly sorrow – which lead to repentance and faith in Him.
O Lord, we have not obeyed Your Word. We have been unfaithful to Your commands.
We have ignored You; we have rejected You. We all are like sheep, gone astray, each to our own way.
Apart from You, Lord, we have no hope.
God, You told the Israelites: “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Lord, You are the same yesterday, today and forever. You said, “I the Lord do not change.”
Your Words are eternal and they never waver.
Please stir the hearts of Christ followers to obey these words so that our land might be healed.
You are holy, O God, and we are sinful people; yet, You still love us and sustain us day by day.
I confess the sins we Americans have committed.
I confess my sins, including my family’s, that we have committed against You.
We all have acted very wickedly toward You, and ask for forgiveness.
Lord, the heart is deceitful above all things – who can understand it?
We do not keep the first Commandment: to love You with all our heart, all of our mind, all of our soul, and all of our strength.
None of us has ever done that – even for five minutes!
We have not done those things You have told us. It is a sin to know the good to do and then not do it.
We have done those things you told us not to do. We worship other gods instead of You.
We desire to satisfy the flesh rather than walk in the Spirit. We have exalted ourselves upon the throne of our hearts;
We choose to do what we want instead of obeying You.
If only we understood, dear Lord, that You are our Maker, Provider, Protector, Healer, and Everything we need for life!
Please open our eyes and give us spiritual wisdom that we may know You better, and live a life worthy of the Lord.
This nation and its people have rejected You and defied You, Lord.
They have redefined morality and despised Your commands. This grieves Your heart – terribly.
Because Your Son lived a self-less life of love, suffered and died on the cross for all.
God, Your Word is Truth — it says that You will not be mocked — and a man (or nation) will reap what he sows.
We’re now reaping the rot of wickedness across this country — and it’s painful.
We are sorrowful and ask Your forgiveness — which we do not deserve.
Lord, Your Word says in the end times, men will become lovers of self and lovers of money.
We have become this, God, and need Your Divine help to be set free from this bondage.
We need to consider how far we have fallen as a nation – and repent.
We confess our souls are polluted, our hearts are divided, and our minds are corrupted.
We misuse our God-given strength: our time, finances, and abilities on other things, rather than seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness.
We all fall short and need a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Gracious God, please help us to quit looking to ourselves, to others, and to the world for the hope we need.
Turn our eyes towards heaven and unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.
Almighty God, please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open to this prayer for our land.
Lord, there are remnants of those who long for You to restore this nation to a God-fearing and God-honoring land.
Your servants in this country delight in revering Your name – because You have redeemed them by Your mighty Hand and Your amazing Grace. They worship You as the One True Living God, the blessed Redeemer.
It is heart wrenching to watch the depravity envelop the nation, especially our children and grandchildren.
It breaks Your heart, God, that people will not submit to You and Your way. They had rather indulge in wickedness.
This affects our little ones, Lord, as they reap the consequences for the sins of their fathers.
O God, they don’t deserve to live in this sin-infested, filthy world.
Lord, they are the weak and oppressed ones and need Your righteous right hand to save them.
Childhood should be be filled with smiles, laughter, innocence, and wonder of Your beautiful world.
It’s devastating, dear Lord, to see the evil these young ones are exposed to.
Please, O Gracious God, deliver them for Your namesake.
Bring every person in this country to their senses, wherever they are in their journey.
Move them to return to You that they may be forgiven, restored, and at peace with You.
God, how can this nation keep living like it does and expect to get better? It will only descend further.
Please touch this country today with Your healing power.
Lord, often, people will not turn to You except in times of misery and suffering.
If that’s what it takes to wake us up and call upon You, please administer Your merciful correction.
God, when we are going through trials, give us understanding to listen to You.
Help us, then, to hear Your voice and not harden our hearts.
May we not continue in our wicked ways, Lord, and lose our souls forever.
God, thank You that You know those who belong to You. You are watching it all and know everything.
Even if others will not submit to You and continue in their rebellion, You will protect and strengthen Your people.
You will give them all they need to live as Light in the darkness. You will be their Refuge and Rock.
And You will show them Your favor and give them reward. You keep their names in Your Book of Remembrance.
We thank You for that.
Please return this nation to a position of respect, strength, and a beacon of Your Light to all the world, because the people revere You as their God.
Lord, We humbly ask You to help the young generations in this nation as this great evil desires to swallow them.
Please help them to live honorably, honestly, and morally and enjoy a blessed land of milk and honey.
Help their lives to shine like the stars in the universe and bring You glory and honor all their days.
Help them to proclaim to the next generation the truth of Your goodness and love.
Please protect this nation’s young ones, O Lord, by Your Mighty Power.
Thank You, dear Lord, for hearing our prayer; You said for us to call upon You in our day of trouble and You would deliver us and we will glorify You. We are obediently calling, Lord.
Your Word says “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before Me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.’” Ezekiel 22:30
Lord, help us to stand before Your throne – and in the gap – for this beautiful land and its people.
Please continue to work in our midst, O God; unless You help, this country and its people will be no more.
God, Your heart is kind and You are a Righteous King. Thank You for loving us first.
Please help us to love You back – and to quit loving ourselves more than we love You.
Lord, also help us to love our neighbor as ourself.
Help us understand that when we live Your way, life has purpose, abundance, and freedom.
We humbly ask You to continue pouring out Your love, grace, mercy, and guidance, and protection over us and this country during these dark days.
Help us, Lord, to rest in You with absolute trust that Your Sovereignty rules over all.
You are our Shield and Defender, and we thank You.
O Spirit of the Living God, please fall fresh on us.
Because of You, O Lord, we’re not defeated, but more than conquerors.
We can live with joy, gladness, peace and resurrection hope.
Only You are worthy of our love and worship, dear Lord – and You are really all we have.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
🙏🏻🌷🙏🏻
Amen & amen. I really needed this today, especially where it concerns my own sinfulness. Thank you, Miss Della. The Lord bless you so very much.
You, too, Joe?!
Been meditating …. sometimes Christians want to play footsie with God.
Thinking everything is okay since we’re saved. But it doesn’t work that way!
God is Holy and does not overlook any sin.
Besides, this nation is in sad shape, and the Lord has my attention. For sure.
Be blessed, Joe.
🙏🏻
Amen.
Amen, flora…
Blessings.

I’ve been traveling lately…long long road trip but have been reading and praying for our treepers here as always but not commenting. Trip was for my nephew Alex’s memorial and celebration of his life. It was good to be with family as we are flung across the nation.
I humbly ask for prayers for Alex’s stepdad who will have major back surgery this Thursday. He is not in good health. I am praying he survives this surgery and will have relief from his pain. My sister cannot handle anymore loss so I am worried for her. We live so far apart! I cannot drive this trip again so will need to fly part way and drive the last leg if needed…I will crawl the last way to her if needed.
May God bless us all and answer our prayers.
Praying for a successful surgery for your BIL & a touch from the Lord for healing. Also comfort for your dear sister & for you, Nana. The Lord bless you.
Thank you Joe Blow. Praying each day for you and your mother and hope you both are doing well as possible. God bless you both.
You and your family remain in my prayers, Nana. May our Heavenly Father continue to hold you close and watch over all of you.
Thank you so much for your gift of your prayers. They mean so much to me.
Praying for your family and you NanaB.May your travels always be safe and without incident.God bless us all.Amen.
Thank you Casco Bay Boy. Home now safely. May God bless us all here on this limb of faith.
May Alex’s memory be eternal, NanaB. I pray The Lord walk alongside your sister as she patiently awaits her husband’s surgery, that the medical professionals will be Divinely guided and that the surgery will be successful without any complications. I pray for a restorative recovery and that her husband will be blessed with comfort and freer mobility. I pray they will be brought closer through this tragedy of their son’s loss and they can find peacefulness and solace. May they all be healed and made whole and your stamina increase and your ministering to them be fruitful. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Thank you JWoo. Your life has had its own challenges. I thank you for your prayers and offer prayers up for you and all here as well. Blessings to all.
Hello Nana and miss you! So sorry to hear about your nephew’s passing; and for your dear sister’s deep loss.
She certainly has much burden to carry, especially with her husband’s surgery tomorrow. I would like to offer prayer below.
Nana, you commented awhile back to me about the strong bond you and your sister have had since childhood.
That went straight to my heart — now, your last comment here says you will crawl to her if necessary. That’s so touching!
When seeing this picture, I thought of you (and everyone needs a sister like you):
Lord God, thank You for Your lovingkindness towards us. Your mercies are new every morning and Your compassions never fail. You are our faithful God, tried and true, always ready to help us in our time of need.
Thank you, Lord.
Gracious God, please comfort Nana’s sister as she grieves the loss of her son. And, comfort all those family and friends who loved Alex. Strengthen all of them in the days ahead and preserve their loving memories of him.
Minister to each one according to their need, as only You can.
Lord, You know about Nana’s brother in law’s surgery tomorrow. Please sustain him and bring healing to his body. You are the Great Physician, God, and know exactly what he needs. Please make a way for him and give relief to his pain. Also, fill him with Your Peace and Your Presence as he goes through this trial. He needs You, Lord.
Please help the doctors, nurses and all those involved in his medical care to treat him with expertise and compassion. May they be Your hands and feet to him…
Lord, please help Nana’s sister, too. She needs Your strength, comfort, guidance and Peace that surpasses all understanding. Fill her with Your grace and carry her on eagles’ wings through these storms. Help her to run and not grow weary – because You are her Rock and Fortress, her Mighty God.
Lord, please touch this family in special ways in the days ahead so they know how much You love them and will never leave them. Help each one’s faith to grow stronger, day by day, as they trust in You with all their hearts.
Give them a strong place to stand and not fall. May these hardships cause each one to draw closer to You and love You with all of their hearts. Please show Yourself strong on their behalf, Lord, and bring beauty out of ashes.
Please protect Nana and her loved ones as she travels. Bring them safely home and give them rest.
Shine the Light of Your face upon them and their household.
We thank You, dear Lord, for Your Divine help in all of this.
You are gracious and good to us all and we do not take You for granted.
We love You, Lord, our Good Father in heaven.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom…

Prayers answered! Thank you God and Treepers! BIL came through his back surgery well. He’s in quite a bit of pain and will be for quite sometime his surgeon said. May have to go to a rehab center before going home. He made it through and I am so thankful! Thank you all again for your prayers. My sister is thankful for all of your prayers as well.
Blessings to all.
The Lord Is Merciful, NanaB! So glad to hear it.
Praise God!
Great news NanaB! May the Lord continue to bless him throughout his recuperation.
Nana, thank you for checking back. Though he still has a ways to go, thankful that all of you can breathe a sigh of relief.
God got him over a hurdle!
Thank You, dear Lord, for helping Nana’s BIL come through the surgery.
We humbly ask that You continue to bring healing to his body, and relief from his pain.
Help him to know your Presence is with him and be comforted.
Please guide all the medical care team for his recovery.
Also, give him contentment and patience while waiting for his strength to return.
Please fill him with Your joy.

For Christ’s sake, Amen.

One of our Treepers, Molon, needs prayer.
He is a special, kind person and loved by many on the Open Thread.
He has asked for prayer and needs Divine strength.
Molon’s youngest daughter is getting married tomorrow (Sat.) He said he wants to stay sober.
Also, his beloved wife has passed and his heart is still grieving, terribly.
Many bittersweet emotions – while trying to fight demons – that threaten to harass all of us in various forms.
Because we’re human ….
a prayer ~
O Lord, You are our Creator and Redeemer. You are most wise, all powerful, and full of mercy towards us.
We thank You that You are our Mighty God. Thank You that You love us with boundless love and underneath are Your everlasting arms.
Dear God, we humbly lift our friend, Molon, to Your throne where Jesus, our Great High Priest, rules and reigns.
And from this highest throne, we can receive mercy and grace to help us in our time of need.
Thank you, Lord, for this kindness.
God, You know everything about Molon, including his struggles, fears, disappointments, and heartaches.
You made him, Lord; he belongs to You and You love him.
Your Word says that all of his days were ordained by You, and written in Your book before one of them came to be.
Lord, You are not surprised, worried or confused about Molon’s circumstances; rather his times are in Your hands.
His daughter’s wedding is tomorrow and he needs Your help to see it through.
Lord, You established marriage and weddings are joyful events, but sometimes they trigger painful emotions.
You knew, O God, that Molon’s wife would not be at the wedding and this hurts badly.
Father, You also know that it’s difficult to let our grown children go and make their way.
But this is Your plan, and You promise to comfort and strengthen us as we submit to Your will.
Lord, please continue to draw Molon close to Thee and comfort him as only You can do.
O Lord, please give him Your Peace that passes all understanding.
Carry him in your arms, Lord, as he leans on You.
Thank You, God, that You put every one of his tears in Your holy bottle. You see every one…
And one day, in eternity, You will wipe those tears away.
We thank You for that.
Gracious God, please remove every temptation from Molon’s mind when he feels drawn to find comfort in evil substances.
It is a strong lure to his human body – but You, O God, are Mighty to save.
You are the Defender of the weak, his Deliverer and Rescuer.
Loose him from the grip of evil habits, Lord, and lead him in Your good way.
Shine Your Light upon his darkness and make it flee.
Please hide him under the shadow of Your wings until the dark desires fade.
Open his ears and help him to hear Your voice and not harden his heart.
You are his Good Shepherd and will lead him in the righteous way, to green pastures and still waters.
You will restore his soul. We thank You for that, O blessed Redeemer.
Help Molon to experience Your Power and Your Presence in a special way – today and in the days ahead.
Help him to look only to You for all of his needs. Satisfy Molon with Your love and goodness.
Teach him, Lord, that although weeping endures for the night, joy comes in the morning.
Give him Your Living hope that joy is on the way – because You promised it.
Lord, help Molon to lay down his burdens at the cross where Jesus laid down His life for us all.
Every time he thinks of someone or something to fulfill his needs – physical, emotional, and spiritual – remind him that only You, dear God, can make him whole. You are more than enough.
Help him to fix his eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of his faith.
Help his faith to not fail or waver, because You are his Rock and the Anchor of his soul.
We lift our eyes to the hills. Where does our help come from?
Our help comes from the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth.
We call upon You, Gracious God, to help our friend, Molon.
We thank You for all You will bestow upon him and his household.
May You receive honor and glory through it all … because others will see and hear of Your mighty works
and believe.
Lord, thank You for giving us all faith to believe in You…a precious gift.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom…
Agreeing with you in prayer for Molon, Miss Della, that the Lord would comfort & strengthen him to fill the void of his heart & forever break the bondage of alcohol in his life. While I was reading your prayer this old hymn came to mind:
Hallelujah, what a thought!
Jesus full salvation brought,
Victory, victory;
Let the powers of sin assail,
Heaven’s grace can never fail,
Victory, victory.
Victory, yes, victory.
Hallelujah! I am free,
Jesus gives me victory;
Glory, glory! hallelujah!
He is all in all to me.
I am trusting in the Lord,
I am standing on His Word,
Victory, victory;
I have peace and joy within,
Since my life is free from sin,
Victory, victory.
Shout your freedom everywhere,
His eternal peace declare,
Victory, victory,
Let us sing it here below,
In the face of every foe,
Victory, victory.
We will sing it on that shore,
When this fleeting life is o’er,
Victory, victory;
Sing it here, ye ransomed throng,
Start the everlasting song:
Victory, victory.
Victory, yes, victory.
Hallelujah! I am free,
Jesus gives me victory;
Glory, glory! hallelujah!
He is all in all to me.
Amen, Amen.
Joe, these words touch my heart deeply.
I was steeped in these old hymns since childhood and they’re embedded in my heart, too.
What a gift to the church!
The lyrics are rich in theology.
And especially as a prayer!
The adversary ensnares so many and only the power of God can set them free.
And when He does, it is victory!! Hallelujah!!
A prayer of blessing for you Joe and your household.
🙏🏻🌷
Victory for Molon…victory for us all.Amen.
Amen, amen, Casco..
A prayer for our Molonlabe during this very important day for his family’s history:
Heavenly Father, Abba,
We come before You in Your Throne Room on bended knees on behalf of our brother, Molonlabe. Addiction is such a wicked satanic beast that is used to isolate, control, and destroy… sometimes irretrievably. There is the insecurity and shame of the addicted, and the high alert and fear of the people surrounded who too often become their collateral damage. Addicts look for escape from something that they can’t bear…. responsibilities they can’t face… or pain that is too burdensome to carry. They hear the devil’s whispers telling them they “can’t do this” and all the evil things they say to destroy a person’s faith walk. NOT TODAY, SATAN, NOT TODAY!!!!
Only the addicted can turn. Only they as individuals can develop relationship with You, Lord, for You to give them what they so desperately need. Hope. Salvation. Forgiveness. Wholeness in Spirit. Healing for their body. Steeliness in fortitude and backbone to stand tall and unwavering in the face of adversity. Strength to cast demons back into the pits of hell where they belong for they “have no authority here!” Presence for their mind. The knowledge that they can be productive, they can carry burdens, they can aide others and be viable and giving and trustworthy, and they can be holy and pure. But, they have to be CLEAN to do so. They have to want CLEAN more than they want the escape.
Father, Abba, Daddy… we sense Molonlabe’s deep pain. We sense how hard this is for him. Will You please walk with him right now and give him the confidence that HE CAN DO THIS! HE CAN be the father his daughter needs right now… for this very moment. Give him no worry about the “next” moment – just keep Molonlabe’s eyes focused on THIS MOMENT. Just this step, this second, this moment… one after the next… then the next… fixing his eyes only on the very moment in front of him.
Then give him success in this moment.
Then, another.
Then, another.
Until those moments add up to an afternoon, then an evening, then a day. Victory, upon victory, upon victory. Then, let it bring him satisfaction… deep… deep rooted… JOY… and solid, unclouded memories, of his precious girl’s very special day.
Let his thirst be quenched with mineral water, and lime, and mint – with drinks that are nourishing and clean – and cleanse his body and fulfil his palate.
Let no devil get in the way. Let Molonlabe feel very comfortable… and get more comfortable still… IN PROTECTING HIS PEACE.
Let him and his family ENJOY this precious day and may he go to bed tonight in Your Holy and Merciful Arms with the greatest joy for the day they have had. A peaceful and loving memory. May his wife look down from Heaven and give great homage to her precious baby girl as she witnesses her union with her mate. May his wife, his babe, reach tenderly to Molonlabe to reassure him of how good he has done to bless their daughter, and to honor her memory. May the only tears shed today be of JOY, CONTENTMENT, AND DEEP DEEP LOVE.
We ask you, Father, in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name. You are Kind, and Merciful, and Good, and we thank You for allowing us to come before you in prayer and supplication. AMEN
In unity, Woo — and praying…
Please pray for Pat T. a good friend and conservative . She developed pneumonia last Sunday and is not doing well despite all efforts.
Asking the Lord Jesus for a touch of healing for Pat, that He might take this pneumonia & restore her to health. God bless you, Azrajo.
Amen.
Hello, Azrajo … You are a kind, compassionate friend to care for Pat! God bless you…
I’m sorry that Pat is hospitalized with this terrible sickness.
I’ve been in the hospital with pneumonia twice in twenty years.
The last time I was there for a week and four different antibiotics did not work.
It was frightening time, especially when they didn’t know what else to do.
I remember – in my delirium- my talk with God.
I said that I was ready to meet Him – if that was His will.
But if it wasn’t my time, would He please help.
The next day, and each day thereafter, my high fever began to drop… till I was released.
I tell you this, Azrajo, to encourage and give you hope for Pat.
God has a good plan for her – and He always has the last word!
Not doctors, medicine, anything.
Only God is in control.
a prayer
Gracious God, Thank You for your merciful and tender heart towards us.
You are All-powerful, All-knowing, and nothing is too hard for You.
You are Sovereign over all – everything. We thank You for that.
We thank You, dear Lord, that You know best what Pat needs. And her times are in Your hands.
We humbly ask that You give her relief and recovery. Heal her body and strengthen her.
Please give her medical team skills, good judgment, and compassion as they care for her.
Lord, please give salvation to Pat – in her sickness and time of trouble – and on her last day.
May she be at peace with You, O God, and ready to meet You for eternity.
Please flood her soul, heart, and mind with Your Peace so that she knows You are with her and will never leave her.
Comfort her with Your Presence so tangible that it can’t be explained.
You are the Great Physician and we look to You, O Lord, for her help and deliverance.
May Your will be done in Pat’s life as it is in heaven – Your good, perfect, and righteous will.
Lord, may You be glorified and honored in Your mighty works.
We thank You for Your great love towards us all, which we do not deserve, but we gratefully accept.
Dear Lord, please minister to Azrajo as only You can do.
Thank You for guiding him/her to bring Pat to You – our Good Shepherd – Who provides all of our needs.
For Christ’s sake, in the name of Jesus our Savior,
Amen.
I am humbled to ask and would be welcome for anyone that would pray for me, and that the ongoing personal struggle that I’ve been battling for over 3 yrs now reach it’s conclusion in fulfillment of God’s will, even if it differs from my own.
Amen.
Praying in agreement with you, Mike, that this struggle would cease in the name of Jesus. May His perfect & holy will be done. God bless.
Amen
Prayers going up for you Mike van.
Thank you.
Praying that your conflict can finally be resolved Mike van.May our Lord bless you.
Amen.
Hello Mike. It takes humility to ask others to pray for our personal struggles, and I’m glad you did.
All of us battle some form of fleshly desire that needs the Lord’s help to overcome.
Concluding from your request, it sounds like you know what God’s will is in this regard – and you have a desire to do it.
Mike, I believe this is half the battle; press on with God’s power and presence! Victory in Jesus is on the horizon!
a prayer
Heavenly Father, Thank you that You are merciful and kind toward those who seek You; and who return to You in genuine humility and repentance.
We do not deserve Your patience with us. We thank You, O God, that You do not treat us as our sins deserve.
Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities.
He paid our sin debt that we can never repay. But we can repent and humbly return to You that we can be forgiven and restored. Thank You, Lord God.
Lord, we lift our friend, Mike, to You for help. You know all about his personal struggle that he desperately wants to be rid of.
Please give Mike purity of heart, mind, and body.
Lord, help him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ.
Mold him into a man after Your own heart, God, that he will do whatever You tell him.
Help Mike to hear Your voice – sunrise to sundown- and not harden his heart.
Give him a passion to want to please You for rest of his days.
Strengthen him to live and walk by Your Spirit, rather than the flesh.
Teach him how to deny his flesh, take up his cross and follow You.
Help him to crucify his flesh and put it to death – that Your Holy Spirit can rule in his life.
Show him how to be strong in the Lord and in Your mighty power.
Because apart from You, we can do nothing.
God, Your Word says that You will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, but that You will provide a way out. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Please release Mike from his stronghold that keeps him in bondage and out of Your Will.
God, Your Will is good, perfect, and righteous and we praise You for that.
Your will is best for us and keeps us from harm.
Help him, O Lord, to hide Your Word in his heart that he can keep his way pure.
Help him to not just listen to Your Word, but do what it says.
Lead him, day by day, in paths of righteousness.
Shine Your Light upon his temptations, and guide him in Your Holy way.
Lord, help Mike to commit all his ways to You, to trust in You with all of his heart, and give his life to Your service.
Please help Mike to hate those things that You hate and to love what You love.
Give him a thankful heart for Your tender care and love for Him.
Help him to love You back with all his heart, mind, soul, and strength – out of gratitude, dear Lord, for Who You are to him.
Lord, as each day passes, help Mike to grow in Your grace and knowledge.
Help him to keep in step with Your Spirit, as You lead him in the way everlasting.
Help him to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of his faith.
Lord, please restore Mike to complete obedience to You and comfort him, so that he will be able to comfort others
with the comfort You gave him.
Make his life a beautiful and powerful testimony of Your Resurrection Power, that others will see and believe in You.
God, please use his struggles and pain for his good, and may You be glorified.
Please help Mike to stay close to Thee every hour, and take refuge in You, his Deliverer.
We thank You, Gracious God, for hearing our cry for help.
You have promised to help when we call upon Your name – and we are calling on the name above all names, the name of Jesus, by which we are saved.
Jesus, Who sustains all things by His powerful word, please rescue Mike from his strong foes and give him victory in You.
We love You, Lord, and we praise You for Your goodness to us all.
For Christ’s sake, Amen…
Shalom.
Amen!
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to pray for me.
My issue isn’t the fleshy desire category.
I suffered a an injury 3yrs ago that left me permanently disabled, in constant pain and physically unable to work.
After all my savings was gone, I was evicted and have been homeless, living outside for the past year.
The only thing that’s kept me from suicide was a lawsuit against the person responsible.
Friday my lawyer for personal health reasons had to quit!
No one will take a case that someone else started.
I prayed that this would end according to God’s will and not mine because I know what I want to do.
Thanks again for your prayer.
Mike, I’m so sorry to read this. Please know that no matter how terrible our situations get, killing yourself is never the answer & will not make things better. I realize it’s easy for me to say that from a computer keyboard but it really is the truth. Jesus loves you so much that He died a horrible death on a cruel cross, not only to pay our sin debt but also that we might live victoriously in this present life. It sounds like you’ve given this over to the Lord now though, which is the best thing you could do.
Lord, we pray for Mike that you would touch his body with Your miraculous healing power, that whatever the disability, condition, hindrance, You would remove it from him that he would not suffer constant pain. We ask that You would lift him up out of the depths of despond & plant his feet on higher ground, giving him the strength to press on daily. We pray that You would deliver him into a situation where he would no longer be without home but that He might be aware of Your loving care for him. We also ask, Lord, that You might help him to forgive the guilty party in this, knowing that You command us to forgive lest we not ourselves be forgiven. Please strengthen him, Father, & show him Your perfect will & purpose for him. We ask it all in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen & amen.
Mike, please also know there are many right here who care very much about you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out any time. God bless.
Amen, amen …. (choked up, Joe)
Maybe the judge will assign someone? Have you checked with the law schools close by–or the closest? Perhaps they can help you or point in the right direction of help?
Often, when God closes, doors, He opens windows. Be patient. We are all praying for you.
Saint Expeditus, patron saint of emergencies, urgent causes and expeditious solutions, please take our prayers and those of Mike van, to the Son while asking Our Lord to relieve his anxieties.
I humbly ask for prayers for a very sick dear friend of mine…..heartbreaking. Too young, too much of a blessing to the human race.

Prayers being said for you friend and blessings to you as well for being such a good friend to this person. Let Gods will be done and we pray for healing.
Praying that the God of all healing will touch & bless this young one, in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord bless you, AO.
AO, I am saddened to hear about your sick friend and your few words say volumes of how precious he/she is to you.
It’s so hard to watch our loved ones suffer while unable to change their circumstance. Again, I’m sorry, and offer a prayer:
Lord God, You are our Maker and are merciful towards us. You are All-powerful and nothing is impossible with You.
You are All-wise and know what is best for each of us. From the moment we take our first breath till we draw our last one, You, O Lord, are in control of our lives. Our times are in Your loving hands, and we thank You for this.
Gracious God, we humbly ask You to heal and restore AO’s friend to health. Please bring relief from pain and all discomfort.
Please grant him/her with Your Peace that surpasses all understanding.
Please give him/her an awareness of Your Presence and hold him/her close to Thee.
Lord, help the medical team to provide excellent care with compassion.
You have a holy purpose for AO’s friend – a plan not to harm him/her, but to prosper.
We know that Your ways are higher than our ways, God, and that Your Will is always perfect, good and righteous.
We understand completely that You are able to heal and that You love him/her with an everlasting love.
Dear Lord, we do ask for his/her healing, but most of all – that Your will be done.
Please bring salvation to him/her, and make him/her ready for heaven and at peace with You.
Lord, that is the most important decision for each one of us, too.
Please lead us all to salvation and safely to our eternal home with You – in Your time and Your way.
Lord, please minister to AO and all who love her sick friend.
Comfort and strengthen them, by Your sufficient grace.
Lord, please bring good out of this suffering for all – and draw each one involved to You.
May You receive the glory, honor and praise for Your wisdom and goodness in this situation.
We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we love You, O God.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.”
Psalm 103:2-4
For Christ’s sake, amen.

My BIL is home after back surgery. Three rods were put in as well as removing some bone and fusing four discs. He’s in a lot of pain but doing ok. Walking with a Walker. Giving thanks and praise he made it through.
we learned two men on our street passed away today. One man we knew and had visited with him a couple weeks ago. He was in his 80’s..had gone thru knee replacement and was doing much better. The other man was in his 40’s. Left a wife. I don’t know if they had children. Praying for solace for those left behind. May God bless their souls and their families in their time of sorrow.
Praying that your BIL continues to recover NanaB,and glad to hear he made it through the surgery and is now home.
Amen to solace for your neighbors and those they left behind.
So glad he’s home, nana! Hopefully, that will help towards recovery, I believe. Also, will help your dear sister.
So sorry to hear about your neighbors’ deaths. Even two on one street!
Dear Lord, We thank You for Your tender mercy towards all You have made. You remember our frailties and that we are made of dust. We need You, God, for everything in life – and death. Thank You for helping us.
Please continue to minister to Nana’s brother-in-law and sister.
They both need Your Divine strength, healing, and grace — physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Please heal their bodies and grieving hearts.
Restore them to a place of comfort and peace.
Please meet all of their needs according to the riches in Christ.
Please comfort the grieving families who have lost loved ones on Nana’s street.
You know who they are and what they need.
Draw them close to You and minister to each one.
May You be glorified in this sadness, and bring others to salvation as they contemplate their own mortality.
Thank You, Gracious God, for giving up Your Son, Jesus, that we all might be saved if we call upon Him as our Savior.
May we do so…Help us to believe and be saved — and our household.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.

I am asking in a special manner, that the Lord Bless and Comfort all and to please answer the prayers of Treepers.
I have been without a computer for a while and had trouble posting but know, all y’all have been in my prayers…even if not here visibly.
God Bless Each and Every One of You!
May the Lord bless you Aggiegirl for your prayers, thoughtfulness, and consideration for others in need.Amen.
Awww…thank you. I don’t know if it is me and my own situation but it does seem that now, in these troubling political times, the need for our Lord’s help and blessings, is present…that so many are experiencing stressful challenges…?
I have had many miracles in my quiet existence…events etc, that could only have come from Divine Intervention…I try to remember that and keep others in mind…as every day, every breath, is a gift!
🙂
My parents and I need to move (our landlord is selling the house we rent from him) and we have found one – and only one – house that meets all of our needs (and it is rare for a house to meet all of the specific needs we have, especially since my father is partially paralyzed due to strokes, my mother has anxiety issues and sensitivity to mold, and I have OCD), but a situation has arisen which puts our ability to rent it in jeopardy. Could you please pray that somehow an agreement is reached that allows us to rent the house and that we get to live there, or, if that is not within God’s will, that we are able to soon rent another house that meets all of the same needs as well or better?
Also, could you please pray that my next-door neighbor Donald and his family, whose house burned down with all their possessions (and they have no insurance) have as much of what they have lost replaced or even improved upon as is within God’s will, and that my current landlord’s worker Danny heals of his intestinal cancer with as little permanent damage to his body and as little pain as is within God’s will, and also that our friend Joyce’s married couple friends who recently fell down in their house heal and that if it’s within God’s will, the husband doesn’t lose his arm?
Good morning, Joshua,
Father, God, I pray in unity with Joshua that their housing needs will be met. As sure as You provide for the birds of the air – who do not reap or sew – so You, too, shall provide for Your sons and daughter. Lord, I know Your Ways well – and if this home that they have found is not the right place for them – I know You have a grander Plan.
Relieve this family of anxiety and give them surefootedness. Help them to pack their belongings swiftly and in full confidence that their next steps are firmly in place.
For Donald and his family who have suffered tragedy through structural fire – we give You thanks that You spared their lives. Material things are replaceable and, Father God, You know their needs. A Habitat for Humanity Restore may be a good place to start for charitable references and contributions to make this family whole again.. But, Father, not back to the way they were before the fire… restored to a brighter, happier, and more complete future together. Bless them, indeed, Father.
For Danny and Joyce’s married friends – Father, the Touch that only You can give to heal them completely and give them the refreshment and revitalization of their youth. Eradicate the evil of cancer, cleanse Danny’s blood, filter out all the evil cells that attack him, and restore his gut to normal activity… the way You Engineered it.
Restore in the husband’s arm all circulation, woven tendons, elasticity, extension. Give him reach and grasp. Help him hold his bride’s hand again in confidence.
Lord, we are but poor material beings… fully dependent upon You… but what a GOD we have that He is so generous, merciful, loving, and omniscient. I thank You for the works You will do in these families and may they forever give You praise!
In Jesus’s Loving and Saving Name,
AMEN.
Amen JWoo!Praying for Joshua, his family and friends.May they find healing in the Almighty’s love and be blessed.
Amen!
Thank you.
Joshua, your post really touched my heart. I see a number of similarities between your living situation & the way my own was not very long ago. Also, OCD is prevalent in our family so I greatly sympathize with you. God has made such a tremendous difference in our lives since we learned to turn away from the world’s methods of dealing with that & to Him that it’s often hard to believe how far we have come. I pray for the Lord’s mighty power to come upon you & uphold you all of your days. And I agree in prayer withy my brother & sisters that all your other requests be met according to His will. God bless you.
Thank you, and God bless you as well.
Praying in unity with you, Joe.
Amen.
I very recently posted about the rent situation my parents and I are in and some of our neighbor’s problems. Several people commented with prayers, and I thank all of you.
Unfortunately, now my father has a new problem. Last week, he fell down, but seemed fine at the time other than a scraped elbow. But yesterday, he said that his back was hurting, and it turned out that he had a big bruise on it. Today, it was suddenly hurting so bad that he was immobilized by pain in his bed and couldn’t get up. We called an ambulance and they took him to the hospital for tests. They said that nothing was broken and that all he has is a bruise, but for whatever reason, the bruise is causing him severe pain whenever he tries to make certain movements. He’s sleeping now, but said that he doesn’t know if he’ll be able to get up and move around when he wakes up.
Could you please pray for his pain to go away and him to get his mobility back, and for the injury to truly be nothing more than a bruise like the doctors say?
Also, could you please pray for the blessing and wellbeing of a nice elderly lady named Laurie who I met today, and her husband, both of whom have disabilities?
Lord, we bring Joshua’s father before you tonight & ask that You might touch him with Your wonderous healing power. Father, please take away any pain associated with this bruise & restore his ability to move about. We also ask that it would be just that, a bruise, as has been indicated. We believe in Your great mercy & power, Lord, & ask You to bless this dear family; bless them in their coming & their going, for we know nothing is too hard for You.
We also pray for a dear lady named Laurie & her husband who have disabilities. Lord, You know the details of their situation, & we’re asking that You might minister to them & lift them up. We thank You, Lord, for Your goodness, grace, & mercy, & we ask it in the mighty name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Amen.
God bless you, Joshua.
I am recovering from surgery. There’s a risk of infection, and I ask prayers for my recovery and most especially protection from infection.
Thank you!
Praying for you dear Menagerie.May the Almighty keep you from infection and harm.May He provide you with a speedy rehabilitation and see to your wellbeing.
We ask this in the name of His loving Son,our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, from whom all good things come.Amen.
Amen.
Menagerie, I’m sorry to hear about your recent surgery. Surgeries – and even simple procedures – can sometimes involve much pain and risk. I pray that you feel better each passing day, as the Lord tenderly cares for you.
a prayer:
Lord, You are our Maker, our Good Shepherd, and Great Physician.
You are Jehovah-Rapha – the God Who heals.
Power and might are in Your hands, and no one or nothing can come against You.
You are our Mighty God, our Rescuer.
God, You demonstrated Your love for us by giving Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
He laid down His life for us that we might be saved.
And You raised Him from the dead, O God, and seated Him at Your right hand in everlasting glory.
We thank You for Your mercies which are new every morning; for your compassions which never fail;
and for Your faithfulness towards us.
We do not deserve such lovingkindness, but we thank You and gratefully accept it.
Lord, You are All-knowing, All-seeing, and All-powerful.
You know all about Menagerie’s surgery, and we bring her to You for help.
You know each detail of her life and You are in control of all things – including every cell in her body.
Gracious God, please provide for all Menagerie’s needs.
You know what they are, how to help and when. And You know best…
Please bring healing and restoration to her body.
Please send comfort and strength each day as she recovers.
Please remove all fear and anxiety as Your Holy Spirit comforts her.
Surround her with Your peace as she remembers that You are with her and will never leave her.
Remind Menagerie that her times are in Your hand – and You love her.
Remind her that because You care for her, there is no room for worry in her heart — the place where You dwell.
Lord, You have a good plan for Menagerie — to prosper her — not to harm her.
Please help Menagerie to trust in You with all her heart through these days of recovery.
Help her to be patient while waiting on You for each day’s needs.
You’re always right on time, dear Lord.
Strengthen her faith through this circumstance, Lord;
May it produce perseverance for her future days.
Help others, too, in her sphere witness the faith and strength You give her.
Help them witness the peace and contentment in her heart and mind – and want it for themselves.
Lord, please exchange her weakness for Your strength.
Please be her Rock and Refuge, her Shelter in the storm.
Help her heart to find rest in Thee, because she is Your child.
God, we understand our earthly bodies are outwardly wasting away.
But help Menagerie to be renewed inwardly in her spirit – day by day – being transformed into the likeness of Your Son, Jesus.
Lord, You said that Your eyes roam to and fro across the earth to show Yourself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully committed to You.
You see Menagerie’s devoted heart to You, O, Lord.
We thank You for Your faithfulness to her, God.
Surely mercy and goodness will follow her all the days of her life.
All hail the power of Jesus’ name, we at His feet may fall; bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him, Lord of all.
You are the Lord – our Lord.
And we love You with our whole heart because You first loved us.
We need You for everything, Lord, and ask that You hear our humble cry.
We praise You and thank You, O God, for helping Menagerie and her family.
Continue to bless and pour out Your grace upon them all.
For Christ’s sake. Amen.

he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. (39)
The LORD helps them and delivers them;” (40.a)

Menagerie,
Praying our Lord and Savior will grant you a peaceful and thorough recovery. That no infection take hold and that only healing and full restoration take place. Rest well and be a good patient! May our Lord bless you from the top of your head all the way down to your toes.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name,
AMEN
Joining with my brother & sisters in prayer for your complete & speedy recovery without any infection, as well as renewed strength & peace, in Jesus’ name. God bless, Menagerie.
Prayers up! We need your great help for the Treehouse!
Dear Menagerie – hoping you are recovering well and staying strong. The CTH community needs you!!!!!
Asking for prayers for myself is very difficult for me as there are so many other lovely people here that are suffering. But here I go.
I’m 6 years out from three surgeries due to breast cancer, the last being a double mastectomy. Was doing great until a few weeks ago where I learned that I now have metastatic breast cancer. A tumor and some lymph nodes. Thankfully it hasn’t gone to organs or bones. Praise the Lord.
I will have 6 weeks of radiation 5 days a week and hormone suppressing shots.
I need prayers for stamina as I am extremely fatigued and I have to drive a half hour one way for the radiation and an hour one way for the shots. I don’t drive anymore due to brain fog and a bit of vertigo. I need my mojo back.
Im just praying God will be my copilot.
thank you
Bc, I’m so thankful that you’re here! About a month ago, I read your post on Open Thread. You were awaiting test results and seeking God’s peace. Since then, I have thought about you. Would you believe – you came to my mind yesterday! I wondered how you fared with the test, and I prayed…
The Holy Spirit moves at times like the wind – we never know from where He comes, or where He’s taking us…
And Bc, if you lived near me, I would be delighted to help you in any way…
I am sorry that you’re dealing with this huge trial – and offer a prayer:
O Lord, There is none like You … For You are good and abounding in love to all who call upon You.
You are great and do wondrous things; You alone are God.
You are our Helper, our Deliverer, and the Defender of the weak.
No good thing do You withhold from those who walk uprightly;
Blessed is the one who trusts in You, O Lord.
Gracious God, You have said that we are to call upon You in our day of trouble – You will deliver us – and we will glorify You.
We’re humbly calling on You to help Bc – to make a way for her breast cancer treatment, and be restored.
Please provide everything she needs – excellent medical care, folks who can assist with driving and other support, and strength for her weariness.
Thank You, Lord, that You understand our weakness and frailty. It is so hard to fight sickness, and cancer is tough, God.
Please comfort Bc that You are with her and will never leave.
Grant her Your grace for every moment, and hold her close.
Remove all fear and worries because You are in control, Lord; You are Sovereign over Bc’s life and You love her.
Remind her that You are the Author and Giver of life, and her times are in Your hands, God.
Remind her, Lord, that all of her days were ordained by You and written in Your Book before one of them came to be.
You are not surprised, worried, confused, or powerless to help her. All things are possible with You, God.
Help her to trust in You with all of her heart, and to fix her eyes upon Jesus, the Author and Finisher of her faith.
You are faithful, God, and will not abandon Your child, BC, to fend for herself. You go before her, and are her rear Guard.
You are her Way-maker, and her Oasis in the desert…
Please give her Your Peace, Your Power, and an awareness of Your Presence.
Help her to know that Your Will is always good, righteous and perfect. And may she rest in that knowledge.
Lord, increase her faith in You through these troubling times.
May her faith never falter, because she looks to You – and not the circumstances.
Make her strong, O Lord. Heal her body, Jehovah-Rapha.
Hide her under the shadow of Your wings until this trial has passed.
Fill her heart with joy and a song of praise to You – because she knows that You love her and You do all things well.
You are a faithful God, Who does no wrong, upright and just are You.
We thank you, Gracious God, for all that You will do for Bc.
Please shine the Light of Your face upon her and her household,
And grant all Your peace and favor.
Lord, please use this circumstance to draw others to Yourself and into Your kingdom – an everlasting kingdom where there is no more sickness, pain, and suffering.
In the name of Jesus, and for His sake alone…Amen.
”You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”
Isaiah 26:3
Shalom, shalom = perfect peace.
🙏🏻✝️💕
Bc, I hope you will return for prayer in days ahead. God tells us to cast our cares on Him. – no matter how big or small – because He cares for you. It honors Him when we do….And He is waiting to help.
In unity for BC, in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Amen.
Thank you Casco Bay Boy 🙏❤️
Thank you JWoo🙏❤️
Oh my 😀
How utterly beautiful. Thank you so very much.
I have no words, Miss Della B.
I will print this out and read it before every appointment
by the way not one hour after I posted my prayer request I received a phone call from the cancer center.
I spoke with the physicians assistant and she is putting in a request for me to see an oncologist that is only 30 minutes away 🙏. The Lord works super fast when asked.
Blessings my friend ❤️
Bc, thankful the prayer encourages – and for checking back!
We sincerely do care about your heavy burden…💕
Remember, Jesus told us that the Father is ‘always’ at work.
And He’s already been orchestrating your future details!
I pray that the LORD
will bless and protect you, (24)
and that he will show you mercy
and kindness. (25)
May the LORD be good to you
and give you peace. (26)

Oh Eve, I am so sorry to be reading this right now. Praying for you Bcsurvivor2, hoping the treatments are successful and you.
Please pray for my son, whom you have prayed for before (December 2022). He has placement of his son, his lung cancer was partially treated by the extreme radiation therapy, but he told me Saturday that he isn’t going to fight it any more, that he has been given 1 to 5 years to live. He told me this the day before the 19th anniversary of his father’s death by suicide. I haven’t even told my sister yet; I’m still trying to figure out my own feelings.
My grandson is 7 going on 8 and my son is devoting the rest of his life to raising him and working to keep them comfortable. My son told me he is working with the VFW and other support groups in his area for making arrangements (he’s a veteran and this cancer is from the burn pits of Afghanistan), but he is still very angry with the government for throwing away his life and other veterans’ lives with their stupid policies. I visited him in March (drove 3500 miles round trip, I will not fly again) and while I was there he found out that one of his veteran friends committed suicide. A few weeks ago he caught his “finance” in their bed with another man and that was the end of that relationship.
Please pray that he finds some peace and less anger about everything. And pray for our country. Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam need it.
I lurk on the Open Thread page and it is wonderful to see the community there. I love Molon Labe’s pictures and the cat pictures and how gracious you all are to each other, Betsy and JWoo and Patience and GrandpaM and Garrison. Thank you for existing.
Thank you so much.
FollowingTheScience,
I’m so sorry to hear of this frightening and sad news for your son and grandson.
I had dinner this evening with, yet another, friend whose husband died while separated from family due to COVID.
We are witness to the utter insolence and contempt for human life by our government… and I’ve never been more convinced… THEY DON’T REPRESENT US.
In tears… all I could say to my friend… and that I can offer you now is….”The Lord Will restore the years the locusts have eaten.” I believe God’s Word with all my heart and I hope you’ll join me in this certainty. No one else holds the keys to death and nothing escapes the Lord’s notice.
I pray for your son and his son, as he continues to raise him. Science only goes so far… then comes God. God gives us our first and orchestrates our last breath.
I pray your son will, through God’s supernatural power, make every moment remaining the most robust and joyful experience possible. He doesn’t know how much time he has… and frankly, neither do we… but as Sundance repeats and we embrace… “live our best lives”.
I pray for lots of sharing for your family, lots of videos, lots of gut busting giggles. I pray for supernatural energy for your son to play with his son.
I lost my mother when I was 9 years old, but I still knew her grace. I picked up her cooking skills by just watching her in the kitchen… her use of aromatics…. and I like to think I went on to be an even better mother… because I was intent on giving my daughter what I could never have. I treated seniors with more respect because we didn’t have biological grandparents for my daughter. God Has His Ways of helping us persevere and to flourish and He loves you, your son, and your grandson more than know.
No crying, sweet sister. No defeat. Not today, satan… NOT TODAY. Your family and your son and his son own this day. I pray it infused with joy and peace beyond all understanding. They may kill and take our bodies, but our Spirit and our Eternity through Christ… is never ever, ever defeated.
Please keep us informed his progress. My prayers are with you all.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Thank you, JWoo! You are so strong, given everything you do for your daughter, I have to believe your prayers carry extra firepower!
My dear, sweet, FollowingTheScience,
My words carry no more firepower than your very own. It is through harshness and refining that we grow and strengthen – and that we grow more resolute each passing day.
Constant focus on our Merciful Father’s Faithfulness is full and complete sustenance. When walking through the fire – it helps to journal along the way – so that you have reminders of God’s Provision and acknowledgement when His Will comes to pass and you see that His Ways were so much better than anything (anything!) we could have imagined on our own.
Then, we boldly step forward and we SHARE HIS GOOD GRACES and BRING HIM GLORY – HALLELUJAH! He is worthy of our praise! Others need to hear how God is so faithful, despite all of our weaknesses and we can approach Him with anything.
He loves us. He loves you.
This is so saddening, FTS. It’s hard for me to even fathom what your son must be feeling after giving everything for this country & then this. I pray that the peace of God would rest upon him, that if it is God’s will that He would miraculously touch your son & heal him of this lung cancer. The doctors have given their report, but whose report will you believe? We shall believe the report of the Lord! It is He Who decides. I also pray for him to have great strength & for you & your family also no matter how things turn out to face this with the Lord to carry you. God bless you.
Amen.
Thank you for caring!
Thank you! Everyone here is so kind, thank you again!
Please pray for my husband Ralph. He has suddenly taken very ill. Won’t eat for the past 3 weeks after receiving an iron infusion because they said he was anemic. We had more tests today but I fear for the worse.
🕊️✝️🕊️

“Almighty God, you are the only source of health and healing.
In You, there is calm and the only true peace in the universe.
Grant to each of us an awareness of your presence, and give us perfect confidence in you.
In all pain and weariness and anxiety, teach us to yield ourselves to your never-failing care, knowing that your love and power surround us, trusting in your wisdom and providence to give us health and strength and peace when your time is best; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”

Father, God, Abba…
We petition before You today on behalf of Azrajo’s husband, Ralph. Lord, would you please touch his senses and eliminate any pallate issues causing an aversion to food. Through Your Holy Spirit that indwells Ralph’s body, Father, eradicate any illness or pestilence that is drawing Ralph’s immunity down or that is hindering his good health. Give him back a voracious appetite to gain back his strength and give Azrajo helpful ideas on easily palatable things to give Ralph nutritional support and sustenance until Your Merciful Healing is complete. Calm his stomach and give his body willingness to hold onto and absorb any nutrition and help him to crave beneficial foods that his body is needing.
Father, we ask this in The Great Physician Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Azrajo – will he drink smoothies?
Greek Yoghurt, fruit, bananas, peaches, mangoes, fruit juice, iceApple (remove the seeds – leave the skin), cucumber, fresh spinach, apple juice, lemon, iceGreek yoghurt, bananas, peanut butter, iceOrange juice (or OJ blend), fresh orange, lemon, ginger, tumeric, honey, beet juice (pour beet juice over last to make it “pretty” – serve on the rocks over ice)Any nutritional boosters you can add for vitamins, minerals, proteins? We do an Emergen-C vitamin powder “boost”Don’t forget the “days of old” when we used to eat puddings, tapioca, good whole fruit popsicles, and jello (I use unflavored gelatin in my coffee and teas – dissolve it first in cold water, let it sit, and then add as a liquid to your drinks for added collagen benefits)
Maybe these can help entice him to want to eat and gradually work his way up to more heartier things.
My prayers for you and your husband, Azrajo. Blessings
Azrajo, I’m sorry to hear about your husband’s sickness. It’s stressful when our loved ones suffer, especially when there’s uncertainty involved.
Today I prayed for you and asked God to give you both healing, peace – and most of all – strong, persevering faith for life’s journey.
Hope you can let us know about Frank in days ahead…
🙏🏻
O Lord, You are the eternal God, and Your kingdom has no end.
Your love for us is infinite — we know this because You gave Your perfect, righteous Son, Jesus Christ, to die that we might be saved.
We thank You, dear Lord, for this indescribable gift;
Please help us to live by the power of His cross.
O Lord, You are El-Roi — the God Who sees.
You see Frank and all his troubles. He needs You, dear God.
Because of Your great mercy, please grant him comfort and relief.
Strengthen his body; restore Frank to health and wholeness. And may Your will be done.
Please provide Frank with everything he needs, including expert medical care.
God, please give Frank and Azrajo Your divine Grace as You lead them in the days ahead.
Give them both a strong sense of Your Presence and Your goodness.
Help them to remember that You are with them and will never leave.
Remind them that You are in control of every detail of their lives.
Help them to trust that You will give only what is best and good — because You are God, and Your ways are higher than our ways.
We thank You for that.
Lord, You know how difficult it is to battle physical illness. And harder still, when our emotional and spiritual weaknesses come to the surface in our time of sickness.
Please calm any fear or anxieties – and carry them, dear Lord – in Your strong, everlasting arms.
Help them to remember the words of Jesus: Do not worry about tomorrow, because You are already there, Father.
And You will take care of them on that day, too.
Give them Your Peace, not as the world gives, but the Peace that comes from You.
Please encourage them that whatever afflictions may come, You will sustain them by Your mighty power.
God, You are faithful and Your Word is truth. You keep all of Your promises to us.
Help them to believe with their whole hearts.
Strengthen them to be brave for future days; give them courage like You gave to David, a young shepherd boy.
He killed a giant with a stone, not a spear.
Although our circumstances change from day to day, You are the same yesterday, and today, and forever, O Lord.
You do not change, and You help us like You did those in ancient days.
We can always depend on You for whatever we need. Forgive us when we forget or doubt that.
We thank You for that.
Be their Refuge, their Rock, and their Anchor in the storm.
God, Your Word says that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think.
Increase their faith in You, dear Lord, to trust in You with all of their hearts, and not lean on their own understanding.
Help them to not focus on things that are seen – because they are temporary.
Rather, turn their eyes to things not seen – which are eternal.
And that’s where we want to be, O God…where You are. With eternal God in Your eternal kingdom, where there is no more tears, pain, or sorrow.
Help them to walk and not faint; to run and not grow weary; and lead them to a place of quiet rest with Thee.
Please help them to watch and wait patiently for Your help, O Lord.
You have promised if we call upon You, You will come.
We are humbly calling, O God, and thankful that we can – only by the blood of Jesus.
O Blessed Redeemer, may You be glorified and honored through this situation and for all of Frank’s and Azrajo’s days.
May the Peace of Christ dwell richly in Frank’s and Azrajo’s hearts, forevermore.
In the name of Jesus — and for His sake. Amen.
Dear Lord, please give Frank and Azrajo ‘Your song’ in the darkest of nights …
By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life. (8)
Why, O my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God. (11)
Psalm 42
🌷🌷
Azrajo, please forgive me for calling your husband Frank. I’m so sorry – it’s been one of those days!
The good news is that God knows who I am praying for, Ralph!
Apologies…
🫢🫢
Praying for Ralph and you Azrajo;that his illness will pass with the help of good doctors, and that your fears will be quelled with the strength and love of our Almighty Father.Amen.
Praying in unity with all here that the Lord Jesus will touch Ralph & restore him to full health, & that He will cast out all your fear with His perfect love. The Lord bless you both, Azrajo.
God morning Treepers and Prayer Warriors,
My reading and posting may become a bit more infrequent. Things are heating UP in Central IN. I am asking for your prayers for us.
I had a meeting with a private, Christian, online school on Wednesday of this week. We mapped out a potential course schedule for my daughter, who still needs her Junior and Senior year in High School. Talking with them, each 1.0 credit course takes 3 hours of online instruction and 8 to 10 hours of independent study and homework. We picked out the 4 cores; English, Math, Science, and History – and two – 0.5 hour courses SAT/ACT Preparedness and a Bible course Savannah wants to take.
What is giving me great pause: This is about a 50 hour course load for a neurotypical student. My daughter is not neurotypical and what takes a standard learner 10 hours – with my daughter it may take 14 hours. Now you see my great concern! In her current high school – they read two really terrible adaptation books this whole year – whereas in this new school setting – she will read eight. This school also offers Constitutional Law, Trial Law introductory courses, Business Fundamentals, and Web Site development and management – which she has high interest in and are not offered in traditional school anymore. It’s a premier school. It is homeschooling – using their curriculum.
I am a single mom and work a full time – very demanding job. I am the only administrator for my company – and I handle all aspects of bookkeeping, sales, customer service, marketing. We’ve grown 300% since I started there 5 years ago and it has been challenging to keep up. My days are never 8 hours – they are 10 and sometimes 12 – with the exception of the winter, where things can calm down – however, we have been doing a lot of system development and it gave me no respite the last three years over the winter.
I need serious prayers for the following:
I’ve been out on a cliff ledge with God a lot – so leveraging full faith IN HIM is a standard practice for me. I’ve been a single mom with no family since she was conceived. God has been so merciful over and over again to us. I expect Him to do more of the same and I believe my daughter is creating her great and lasting powerful Christian legacy. The Lord saved her life at birth – and He hasn’t stopped caring for her ever since – and she has honored Him accordingly.
Father, God, Abba – help me to do this. Help me to take this stand for my daughter and to not throw away the blood, sweat, and tears I have invested in her since she was in my womb 18 years ago. You have grown her and given her a great mind and Spirit for You and her country. You Will great things for her.
For all parents out there struggling, struggling over these same decisions – grant us all peace of mind and surety of foot – to together take this stand against the evil indoctrination and overtaking of our educational system that has let us all down at the great sacrifice of our children’s academics, mental, and Spiritual health. Father, You gave us stewardship over these young minds – and if You bring us to it – You Will See us through it!
Thank You, Abba, for the blessing that is these children. I pray these things in unity – through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior – AMEN
JWoo…You have a lot on your plate my friend.I will pray for you. Each one of us has different ideas about many things. For example…FOR ME,failure is a human concept, only to be judged by that individual themselves…not according to others definitions. Not getting a degree,or getting into college is not relative to what one might call being a success…. it may be different for you.
I believe that,no matter what, knowledge and experiences are invaluable,so regardless of what the outcome is,you and your daughter will not have failed.
Secondly,I believe that you both are already tremendous successes. What you have had to go through, and all you have done,TO ME,is already the definition of success.
I happen to believe that the Lord Almighty has blessed your daughter by providing such a wonderful mother as yourself. You have so much to be proud of…what you have already accomplished, and what you will continue to achieve.
The Lord has provided you with the strength to persevere, and you have done so.Congratulations amiga;you and your daughter are total WINNERS!
Please forgive me if I come across as being presumptuous in regards to your feelings and definitions of things. If it seems hurtful or overly forward,I apologize. That was not my intention.
Stress is a terrible thing, and I personally know it quite well,so I can identify with your concerns.Keep on keepin’ on… 🙂
“Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.”
Proverbs 12:25 Blessed be God forever!
Casco Bay Boy,
No insults taken – I promise. To clarify… I am not necessarily an advocate of college education. I, myself, only had one year… and still held… in my history very important jobs… due to my aptitude mechanically, intelligence, trainability, and attitude.
I know with all my heart – that not every person is a prized mathematician. Not everyone a scientist. Not everyone needs to be.
Savannah has an affinity for flying. She has flown a Cessna twice – and when she’s doing it – she is free. She is calm, relaxed, and very good at it! She loves cargo helicopters – Hueys. I could see her working as an EMT copter pilot, an oil and gas transporter to platforms, and even in missionary work. MikeRoweWorks.com has an excellent list of open positions for pilots… so there’s a demand for her skillset.
SHE wants to pursue flying. Wants to pursue mechanical engineering (a bit of Mom’s industrial engine electric power generation experience rubbed off on her). We will let the career dictate the college education as those two really go hand in hand. Our Purdue University is premier in both areas.
SHE also loves the law. Loves the Constitution. Loves righteousness and holy judgement. Even tempered compassionate yet just. She also wants to be a judge.
Well… can ALL THOSE THINGS HAPPEN?
With GOD – yep. Absolutely.
I was one of two women in the country in my electric power generation job and sang in Carnegie Hall in 1989 as one of three in my cohorts qualified to go. I know from my own experiences – anything is possible and nothing is unattainable. You want to be an Astronaut – you start doing what astronauts do – you start learning what they know – you build your experience based upon good practices of those who are proficient in their profession.
You know how HARD it was for me to climb in the back of an airplane and let her go? She has loved aircraft since she was 4 years old.
My girl has no desire to drive a car (that’s really scary)… but she was this ethereal being behind the controls of an aircraft. Her trainer kicked back and took a drink of his drink – and I thanked him for his patience in working with her. He said “My job is easy – when she knows how to fly the plane already.” She has not taken off or landed on her own yet… but she is now working her Chick-Fil-A job to save money for pilot’s school.
Right now, my main prerogative is to teach my daughter how to study and stay organized. If she stays in the school she is in – she’s no hope to go to college and she will hate the educational system and turn from it. If I can do this for two years – and get her in good patterns – I believe she will be able to attain and sustain college entrance.
If she doesn’t – if she fails – then she will do so honestly and having done her very best. The girl can put the work in – but she needs real guidance – and schools are failing our children at this.
My message to anyone and everyone – don’t ever let anyone – including the government tell you that you can’t be or do something. Be your best you. Use your God-given talents and God Will absolutely complete in you – HIS Divine Purpose.
Love to you, Casco Bay Boy.
Hi JWoo – I could have written this same prayer request for my children 15 – 20 years ago although I believe the challenges presented for kids currently in high school are much much more, well – challenging.
I will pray for you and your daughter.
It sounds to me as though you have very strong values and parenting fundamentals. These shine through to your daughter whether you realize it or not. Sometimes, when you wonder how you’re going to get up in the morning and keep it all going – somehow you do. Because there is no other option except putting one foot in front of the other.
Steadfast in prayer, relentless in parenting………….it will never fail you. Because the bottom line is, you are doing YOUR BEST. This is all we are in control of – trying and pursuing the best………..day after day after day.
Thank you, MTeresa. I appreciate your prayers immensely.
Amen.
Cascoe, such a beautiful response …
Also, you mention the word “success.”
Years ago, I heard Pastor Tony Evans define success: “Success is knowing God’s will — and doing it.”
So simple and it stuck with me – now, that’s how I view it, too!
Only God judges me as being a success – or not.
Amen.
Woo, prayer forthcoming … Haven’t forgotten.
In the meantime, asking the Lord to please help and guide you.
🥰🥰
Thank you, Della.
Some work ahead.
For now, my prayers are consumed with Trump.
We all have so much to pray over.
I hope your healing has continued, your sinuses are no longer bothering you, and your sight is fully restored, Sis.
Thank you, Woo.
My sinuses are much better – but don’t think they’ll ever be normal.
I’m learning to accept and live with it. Could be much worse.
Vision has not improved much, but will see eye doctor end of June. Hoping new glasses will correct.
Don’t know if you read that my vision was harmed by a medication the ENT gave me during the sinus procedure. He did not inform me of possible side effect or I would have declined.
Vision went from 20/20 to 20/40. Have hard time seeing small print.
Again, It’s all in God’s hands, as my eyes belong to Him. He allowed for His purposes.
🙏🏻🌷
Miss Della, I couldn’t help but see JWoo’s post below. Praying for your complete healing from the Lord with respect to whatever the issues might be. God bless you.
Thank you, kindly, Joe.
May the Lord richly bless you!
🌷
Joan, your love for your daughter comes through with each word you write about her & all the sacrifices you’ve assuredly made in your life. For what it’s worth, I believe you are absolutely doing the right thing here. There is nothing more important than our walk with the Lord, & anything that would jeopardize that must be excised from our lives with extreme prejudice. If the school environment is so toxic (& I have no doubt that it is) or could even cause her to lose her way should she remain in it, then this is definitely the right course of action. That doesn’t make the realities of it any easier though, I know.
But that’s when we lean on the Lord. You don’t have to be superhuman, just super-yielded. Yielded to the power of the Holy Spirit Who lives inside of you to accomplish His good will & purpose for you & your daughter. I’m believing right now that the Lord will strengthen you beyond all measure & open those windows of heaven & pour you out a blessing you won’t have room to receive. I feel the presence of the Lord as I type this. Yes, your blessing is coming through! I proclaim it tonight, & ask it all in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen & amen. God bless you, dear sister.
Praying in unity, Joe … Amen, amen.
Thank you, Joe Blow – you are the furthest thing from “just a Joe Blow” – “super yielded”… yes, absolutely yes. Fully dependent and fully yielding… and fully TRUSTING HIM. We see no ways through our Jerichos except through God.
I pray my testimonies, weaknesses, prayers for help… inspire others to reach for collective prayer.
It is an honor to pray for others and we are stronger in unity.
Thank you for being my good and faithful brother.
Today after taking banana to work, I will begin working on her schedule for the curriculum. I will proceed in total faith that we can do this.
How do you climb Everest – base camp to base camp. Getting small and not thinking of the whole – just the next few steps ahead always striving for small progress in each step – until the overall achievement is made.
THROUGH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
Amen. Amen.
Woo, The little song below came to mind while writing my prayer.
Don’t know if you’ve ever heard, but it has words of Truth!
I know your responsibilities are huge during this season of life – it’s not easy.
But one day, you and your child will look back and tell the Lord, “It was all You, dear God. All you – that brought us through.”
And He will smile upon you.
Please come here anytime prayer is needed. That is only what will get us all through. Just let us know!
(Song)
God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way
a prayer:
O Lord, We lift up our eyes to the hills. Where does our help come from?
Our help comes from the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth.
Thank You, O God, for watching over Woo and her daughter, Savannah.
You do not slumber nor sleep, and You have promised to take care of them all their days.
Lord, thank You that You know all things from start to finish.
You see the whole plan for Woo and Savannah – Your plan – from Your eternal view.
And You are all-powerful, God — nothing can thwart Your plan.
You know Woo’s heart and her strong love for her child – and for You, O Lord.
Remind Woo that the love You have for her and Savannah is boundless, having no end.
And You love Savannah way more than Woo is humanly capable of.
So, help Woo to trust in You with all of her heart, and not lean on her own understanding,
but in all of her ways acknowledge You. And You will direct her paths.
Teach Woo in the way she should go, and guide her with Your eye upon her, O God.
Strengthen her faith as she makes decisions for Savannah’s education and other matters.
Give her light for every step, and remind her that You will lead by Your Spirit and Word – not by giving her the whole plan.
God, You tell us that we make our plans, but it is You that directs our steps.
Strengthen Woo to believe this and not waver, especially in those times of uncertainty.
Lord, Remind Woo of Abram, Your servant and friend.
You called him to leave his country and his family to a place that You would show him.
He followed You by faith, not knowing where he was going.
And You blessed Abraham, and ultimately all believers in Christ, because of his obedient faith.
Remind Woo that You are Jehovah-Jirah, the God Who provides.
You have unlimited resources and You are All-sufficient.
You are her Father in heaven Who will always be there to make a way.
Especially when there seems to be no way.
We thank You for that.
Help Woo to commit herself and Savannah to You and the Word of Your grace day by day.
Remind her that they live, move, and have their being in You.
Remind Woo that You are responsible for Savannah’s welfare — and You do not fail.
Lord, You are faithful and will keep them from falling as they stand on the Rock of Christ.
Help Savannah’s faith in You to grow; give her Your wisdom and favor.
Lord, please give Savannah the mind of Christ and help her to think like He does.
Please protect her from evil and dangers, Lord. Be her Shield and Defender.
Cover Savannah with Your strength and dignity; may she be able to laugh at the days to come.
Lead Savannah to grow into a woman who fears You, O God.
May she will glorify You with her life.
Lord, please remind Woo in the days ahead to not be weary in well-doing as she trains her daughter in Your ways.
Remind her that she will reap a harvest of righteousness in due season – if she does not give up.
And, we humbly ask You to hold her up, carry her heavy burdens, and save her by Your Mighty hand.
Lord, You are the Good Shepherd Who leads His sheep to green pastures and still waters.
Your Word tells us that You tend Your flock like a shepherd;
You gather the lambs in Your arms and carry them close to Your heart;
You gently lead those that have young.
This is precious, Lord, and we thank You.
God, You know that Woo is raising her child by herself, without any help from family and friends.
You know how hard it is.
Please provide Woo with everything she needs in the days ahead to see this enormous responsibility and labor through.
Please shine the Light of Your face upon Woo and Savannah, and show them Your favor, O Lord.
Establish a hedge of protection around them.
Lord, may You become their song in the night, especially in the darkest ones, as they sing of Your goodness and beauty.
Please comfort them every day with Your Peace, Your Power, and Your Presence.
We thank You for all that You are doing – and will do for this family.
You are good, O God, and what You do is good.
And we honor You alone.
For Christ’s sake, and in His name, Amen.
Shalom.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you; I will surely help you;
I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10
Della…
Years and years ago… I mysteriously started seeing 111 and 1111 on clocks and in the strangest places. I have never been “into” numerology… at all. Not into suspicious hocus pocus. However, there are some numbers that stick out to me due to personal meaning. For instance: 10:10 was the time of the pronouncement of my mother’s death. So, naturally seeing those numbers 10:10 make me pause in mind and honor her.
So… for years and years… randomly… (which we know is not so “random”)… I would see 111 and 1111 and after doing so repeatedly for a very long time… it became a thing that I would consider it God saying “hi”. So, in my mind…. I would say “hi, God. I see You and I love You.”
About 4 or 5 years ago… the sightings increased… a lot! And it was really gnawing at me and I started asking “What, God? What do You want me to see or to learn? Show me!” I searched into Scriptures and it lead me to Chapter 11 of Hebrews – the faith chapter.
Wouldn’t you know it… way back in 2008 when I first had started my Facebook profile keeping track of friends all over the country… I wrote two phrases that were important to me.
Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is to be sure of what is hoped for, and certain of what we do not see”
Hebrews 11:11 “By faith, Abraham (Abram) even though he was past age – and Sarah herself was barren – was enabled to become a father because he considered Him faithful who had made the promise.”
My Facebook is long since gone once I realized they were data mining our precious memories – but those verses were the two… way back in 2008… that were most important to me to describe my profile… and The Lord was bringing them continually back to my mind. My Spiritual gifts had shifted – from #1 Leadership and #2 Hospitality to #1 being FAITH, because I have been tried!
I find it no coincidence that you referenced Abram here. I thank God so much for the Faith Chapter in Hebrews. Over and over – it describes yielding that Joe so kindly and astutely mentioned. Yielding.
Thank you for your strong prayers – to see you write them – I know they are in the Lord’s Throne Room.
I had not heard the song you posted – but I am sure glad to have heard it now. You bring to mind another:
1
Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God.
Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I’m standing on the promises of God.
2
Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God.
3
Standing on the promises I now can see
Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me;
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,
Standing on the promises of God.
4
Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,
Standing on the promises of God.
5
Standing on the promises I shall not fall,
List’ning every moment to the Spirit’s call.
Resting in my Savior as my All in all,
Standing on the promises of God.

Woo, God has brought you so far – and He will never let you go…
Even now, He is growing your faith so it can move mountains!
I love Hebrews 11 … there’s a wonderful on-line Bible study for Hebrews I did last summer.
It’s free and will look up the link for your resource file.
This hymn has always been a fav, too. Standing on those promises! That’s what I’m doing!
Blessings…
Interesting. I see 9:11 on clocks all of the time. I had associated it with 9/11, which was definitely a watershed event in my life. But you inspired me to look up Bible verses. The one that resonated with me was Proverbs 9:11 For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life.
Woo,
Prayers for your daughter and you!
Amen.
floraofsolomon – I sure appreciate it! Blessings on you, friend.
Not once have I wavered in my committed prayers for the safety and well-being of our rightful President Donald J. Trump.
I will fast and pray again for this most recent round of indictment that he will NOT be taken into custody under any circumstances and that no weapon formed against him will prosper. As a matter of fact, they will backfire.
Weapons formed against Trump will turn and attack… at a rate unfathomable to the evil perpetrators and the evil doers… all liars, cheats, and those repugnant… and they will be eviscerated. Not just harmed – they will be destroyed.
They will lose reputation, wealth, affluence, influence, protection, and they will be revealed treasonous. The traitors should be given no quarter and should be immediately expelled from our country – dropped over the border like an illegal alien – for they, too, are illegal – and they shall be stripped of their American citizenship and have no protection under our great Constitution of these UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
We must purge our country of traitors and illegals.
This will be my prayers.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
NOTE: If you are unfamiliar with prayer and fasting – please take great care in protecting your health through this process if you decide to join in. I personally have never fasted more than 3 days, but will be aiming for today through Tuesday of his supposed court hearing. I continue to drink water throughout – some herbal tea with maybe a teaspoon of honey – and may include clear fruit juices depending upon my body’s response to this extended time. Please use caution.
(I pray the court throw out this nonsense and return to judicial propriety and good sense immediately!!! How is this not double jeopardy?!)
Amen, amen.
God morning, Treepers and Yielders to Faith and Truth,
This morning entering into my third day of fasting and praying for PDJT and our country – my prayer with God was that I don’t want our country to go back to the way it was – I want it to be better than before. I want us out of debt. I want us to thrive and not enslave our children’s children to nonsensical and militant spending on the military industrial complex in a bloodlust for power.
Interestingly, and as God’s Spirit so often does when we seek Him with all of our hearts and lean not on our own understanding… I was led in Spirit to a book of a minor prophet, Nahum.
I’ve not much experience in the minor prophets, so I am looking forward to learning more.
I have Zondervan NIV Study Bible that I am working with and I spent much time in the historical notes. I will try to give you some quick notes that may inspire you to dig further independently.
Nahum prophesied Ninevah’s (the capital of Assyria) fall between 663 and 612 BC. It came to pass in 612 BC.Assyria (represented by Ninevah) had destroyed Samaria taking captive the northern kingdom of Israel 722 to 721 BC.During the reign of Josiah and making Nahum a contemporary to young Jeremiah and ZephaniahAssyrians were brutally cruel. Kings gloated over gruesome punishments of conquered people. Uprooted whole populations and deported them to other locations in their empire. Leaders of conquered cities were tortured, mutilated, and executed.
Jonah had announced Ninevah’s destruction earlier in Jonah 3:4, but the people put on a show of repentance and there was a temporary reprieve. However, Ninevah reverted back to its cruelty, pride, and wickedness.God placed judgement on Ninevah for her idolatry, wickedness, cruelty and oppression (sound familiar?)
In Nahum, God is not only “slow to anger” and “a refuge for those who trust in Him” but also “will not leave the guilty unpunished”. Kingdoms built on wickedness and tyranny must eventually fall, as Assyria did. God is Lord of history and of all nations as such, He controls their destinies.
THIS WAS JUST THE INTRODUCTION – it’s a short book – can’t wait to dig deeper!
Holy and Heavenly, Father, Abba –
You hear the cries of Your people. You are fully aware of their weeping, pressures, stresses, afflictions, and oppressions. You don’t take kindly to it. You don’t tolerate illegal, nefarious, wicked, demonic, and subterfuge. Only evil cheats.
You have Your Final Way and Say.
I implore You, Father… do as You Will with our country… the United States of America… and if You must destroy her… I pray you rebuild her in Your Glory and Honor.
Do not ever let us feign repentance, be granted temporary reprieve, only for Your Righteous Anger to strike out on her again.
Your people are here. Like Sodom and Gomorrah – You saved those worthy.
We are here, Father, and like voices crying out from under the altar – “When, Lord, when?”
We have no worries sheltered under Your Wings. Our prayers are not for our selves. Sure, we have minor day to day challenges and decisions which we rightly come to You for guidance and counsel… but this Lord, is so much bigger.
We love our country and we love being Americans. We love other countries, too, and we want their people to be their people. You’ve blessed this earth richly with great cultures – we ask You to thwart and remove permanently the military industrial complex and the evildoers within all earthly governments who seek global power and reign and rape this planet for their enrichment.
You set the rulers on their thrones, Father. So it is – so shall it be done by the Word of God – from the Giver and Taker of Life and Breathe.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Woo, it’s so encouraging to hear of your hunger and thirst for God!
I highly recommend Pastor Chuck Swindoll’s messages on the minor prophets.
He did a series of twelve last fall.
Think I’ll revisit them myself.
I love to study on my own, but he may provide additional helps.
Sure wish everyone in our nation could hear these words!
You can click to place where sermon begins, and bypass music.
https://www.stonebriar.org/watch/listening-to-the-prophets/
ps: Pastor Swindoll is 89 years of age, and he’s still at it. Have to give him grace.
Hi Della,
It has taken me too long to respond to your response. I am sorry for this. Thank you for the link to the Chuck Swindoll teachings. I hope I can chisel away some time to be able to listen and research further with these. I really need to be keeping a file of these links.
Life is traveling about 300 mph right now. In the thick of working on the Potter’s School criteria for Savannah. It is so daunting. It is going to be a real stretch for us and the curriculum is intensive. Which is good, because I want her to actually learn something but I don’t want to burn her (US!) out.
Hugs to you, dear Georgia friend. Heading up to read your prayer now. Thank you for taking your time from your day and demands to keep us in mind and heart. I am humbled with your willingness.
Love to you.
Hello Woo, no worries, you’re fine!!
I knew from your posts the pressures you’re under, in the midst of a fast! I can only imagine!
But I did want you to know that I was thinking of you and Savannah – and prayed for you.
Swindoll’s messages are a treasure. Hope you can listen to the minor prophets. So worthy.
Maybe when things settle down for you …
🌷🥰
Woo, here’s link to Hebrews Bible study, taught by Michael Krueger, Reformed Theological Institute, Charlotte, NC. It was free and a blessing.

Amen, amen
In continual prayer for our President Donald J. Trump – let the flappy jaws cease chattering – may they be silenced by God’s Holy Hand and Presence. Let Truth be spoken and may it burn sinfulness to the ground into ashes that ultimately disappear into the cleansing wind.
May those who speak and do evil be permanently stilled. Remove all power from the evil and sinful.
For those who might be saved through God’s Word – let it be so! May they turn, come clean and confess their sins in the blessing of spiritual awakening… and may they go and sin no more! There is still time! Just TURN, confess, and sin no more! You will enter the space and freedom of clean and contrite Spirit. There’s no greater freedom than in the shelter of our Lord.
But for those who are beyond all salvation may they sit in the helplessness of their own insane minds – traitors without a home country and with nowhere to lay their heads peacefully – subject to enduring public ridicule and disdain. May the bread they eat of fruitlessness be mealy and full of worms. May they waste away back into the dirt from which they were drawn.
May this all be a message that God is not pleased by evildoers and He does avenge on behalf of those wrongfully accused and persecuted. No good deed or bad deed goes unnoticed.
2 Samuel 7:27-29 (NIV) – a prayer of David
“O Lord Almighty, God of Israel, You have revealed this to Your servant, saying ‘I will build a house for you.’ So Your servant has found courage to offer You this prayer.
O Sovereign Lord, You are God! Your words are trustworthy, and You have promised these good things to Your servant. Now be pleased to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever in Your Sight; for You, O Sovereign Lord, have spoken, and with Your blessing the house of Your servant will be blessed forever.”
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, I pray, AMEN
Am asking for prayers for my son…for problems he is facing…with his marriage, among other things…cannot go into details but it is kind of stressful….for all involved….
Praying for Aggiegirls’s son…that he may find resolutions to his issues and return him to a less complicated life, filled with hope and joy.May she and her family know peace and calm that comes from Your everlasting love for us.We ask this in Your Most Holy Name.Amen.
Aggiegirl, I pray that the Lord would help your son regarding his marriage & all other issues he might be dealing with, that He would bring healing & restoration wherever necessary, & that He would set him on the path that he should go. I also pray for a diminishing of the stress surrounding said issues. Blessings to you.
Father God,
We ask Your Spiritual binding in the marriage of AggieGirl’s son. A three wound cord is not easily broken but Lord its tensile strength can sure be tested when two are pulling opposite ways.
I ask that something strike them in their marriage… a movement, a remembrance… that sparks and ignites the reminders of their first love together. The innocence and wonder of it. That they have a deep understanding that they are on the same team and that they have the power through You to uphold and uplift and encourage one another to strive forward past any obstacles.
Keep their eyes steadfast on You and on one another.
Bless them Father with many favorable years, bound tightly with You… in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Aggie, I’ve been thinking about your request for a bit. I have adult children, too, and understand your mother’s heart.
It’s an intimate place where only God can reach into its deepest recesses.
He is the One Who gives a mother’s heart, which is a tiny portion of His heart.
Although motherhood is a glorious honor and privilege- it’s the hardest job on earth.
Not as much physically – but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Yet our dear Lord promises to help us.
a prayer:
Lord God, Thank You for Your tender mercies for us – they are new every morning.
You are gracious and kind, God – showing Your love throughout all generations.
You loved us so much that You gave Your One and Only beloved Son, Jesus, to die in our place.
We thank You, God, for saving us and redeeming us by His precious blood.
Lord, You tell us: >>
Arise, cry out in the night. Pour out your heart like water before the presence of the Lord!
Lift up your hands to Him for the lives of your children.
We are here, Lord – humbly seeking Your face and Your help for Aggie’s son.
You are All-wise, All-knowing, and ever-present.
You know exactly what he needs, and when. Please provide that for him.
Gracious God, bring him to his senses in whatever circumstance he’s in.
And do the same for all those involved in his life.
Help them to turn to You, with a broken and contrite spirit.
Please restore each one – their body, soul, and spirit to Your righteous ways.
Lord, please open Aggie’s son’s ears to hear Your voice and not harden his heart.
Reveal Your truth to him; help him to understand it and choose the way of truth.
Give him the mind of Christ, and help him to think like Christ.
Please give him Your spiritual wisdom and revelation that he might know You better.
And live his life worthy of the Lord.
Please help him to know Your will in each situation- and then, give him a desire to do it.
Help him to seek You with all of his heart, and find You.
Lord, please guide him by Your Spirit and lead him in the way everlasting.
Give him a hunger and thirst for You.
Feed him with your Words – Your Words are life. Help him to hide Your Words in his heart.
Make him like a deer who pants for streams of water.
And give him Your Living Water, the Holy Spirit.
Help him to become a man after Your own heart, who will do whatever You tell him.
And may he bring You glory all the days of his life.
Lord, you know the evil times we are living in, and the darkness surrounding us.
Please deliver Aggie’s son, rescue him, and set his feet on the Rock of Jesus Christ.
Give him a firm place to stand, and strengthen him for all of his days.
Please equip her son with everything good that he may do Your will.
Work in his life that he may be pleasing in Your sight, through Jesus Christ.
Shine Your Light upon her son; help him to see You, follow You, obey You, and love You with his whole heart.
O Lord, please strengthen Aggie’s heart, and give her Your Peace.
Help her to trust You with her child, that You love him more than she does.
Bless her and keep her in the days ahead.
Help her relationship with her son to flourish and grow stronger through all of this.
Give her Your Living hope, O Blessed Redeemer, that You are at work and will take of her child.
Help her to cast her cares upon You and not worry, because You are in charge.
Remind her to wait patiently on You, while trusting You with all of her heart.
We thank, O God, for Your goodness and faithfulness to this family.
They all need You, Lord.
Please show them Your mercy; give them Your Peace, Your Power, and Your Presence.
May You receive all the glory in this; may they become more like Your Son, Jesus, as they help others to know Him, too.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.

I’m writing in the hope that you could offer a small prayer for my mom. It sounds like a minor thing: she recently had dental surgery and seemingly developed an infection, which has caused her face to swell and has been painful. (She has been through a lot recently, being hospitalized last fall before being diagnosed with A-fib and gastritis.) I said an extra prayer of healing for her this morning (because I usually pray at night), and two things came to mind: this prayer site and my sister’s ex father-in-law, who had dental surgery, got an infection, and ended up hospitalized when the infection traveled to his heart. Because one of my prayers about myself is to recognize the nudges God gives me, I decided to act on these thoughts and write a prayer request. If you could find the time to give a small prayer for healing, I would be most grateful. Thank you.
I will say a big prayer for you friend…and I also just recently completed 2 years of dental surgery to fix a small problem.
Lord of power and might, may you heal MRoubaix’s mom of her current infection.May you see that she responds well to antibiotics, and has her inflammation reduced and her pain subsided.
Please protect her from all ailments,so that she may continue to bear witness to Your glory.
Asking this in the name of Your Only Begotten Son,Amen.
Thank you, Casco Bay Boy. This was very kind. And I hope you are feeling better after your own dental surgery.
Amen, MRoubaix and Casco.
Casco, I’m sure you’re relieved the process is over!
My dear hubs has had lots dental work in recent years – it’s painful and costly.
Thankful you’ve reached the end.
Dear Lord, Thank You for all the ways You have helped Casco and his household.
Thank You for giving him a desire to care for others – and advancing Your kingdom.
Continue to bless him with everything he needs for life – and more abundantly.
Strengthen him, encourage him, teach him, protect him, and lead him in Your way, O King Eternal.
Show him Your favor, and grant him your Peace.
Shine the Light of Your face upon him, and his household.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom.
🙏🏻🌷
Hello MRoubaix, so glad you listened to God’s nudge and came here … but, sorry about your dear mother’s suffering.
My mother went through many various illnesses in her later years, and it’s painful to watch.
Your words made me smile: that you decided to act on your thoughts.
When we draw near to God, He draws near to us — says the Bible.
In being still, quiet, and meditating on the Lord, He will lead us rightly – if we ask.
And you responded beautifully to His way.
🙏🏻
a prayer:
Gracious God, we give thanks that You alone are our Rock, our Salvation, and our Refuge.
You are our Good Shepherd, O Lord. You lead us to green pastures and still waters.
You guide us in paths of righteousness – for Your namesake. And You restore our souls.
You tell us, O God, that Your sheep know Your voice – and they follow You.
Thank You for all of this. You are good to us – showing Your lovingkindness.
O Lord, please touch MR’s mother and give her relief. You know all about her ailments and what she needs.
You know the number of hairs she has; You know when she lies down and when she rises up.
All of her times are in Your strong hands, O God, and You love her. And we thank You.
You alone are the One Who heals; please help her with whatever she needs, according to Your good and perfect will.
Please send MR’s mother Your Grace and Your Peace to help her in this time of need.
Please provide excellent medical care and any other support that will comfort her.
Lord, please assure her mother that You are with her and will never leave, but You are by her side.
May she be content and strengthened with the knowledge that You are present.
O God, thank You for giving MR a desire to know You in a deeper way.
Help her to earnestly seek You all the days of her life.
May her soul thirst for You, and her body long for You – as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Satisfy her, dear Lord, with Your everlasting love.
Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, like an overflowing river.
Give her abundant joy, peace and Your power as she daily lives in Your presence.
Help her to grow in Your grace and knowledge, day by day.
May the Light of Christ shine brightly through her in this dark, decaying world.
We thank You, O God, for helping this family. Thank You for Your faithfulness to each one.
Please keep them and be gracious towards them, O Lord.
Grant MR and her mother Your mercy and Peace all of their days.
May You be honored and glorified in their lives.
For Christ’s sake, and in His name, Amen.
Shalom.
🙏🏻💕
Thank you, Miss.Della.B, for both of your prayers. Writing the request this morning was cathartic, and your response was both kind and heartening. Ministry comes in all shapes and sizes: how nice that you do it in this forum!
You’re welcome, MR! I’m happy to advance God’s kingdom wherever He needs me.
Hope you will come again if prayer is desired.
Blessings…
I will come again–not just for my own prayers, but to read and pray for others!
Yea – excited bout that!
And, if you feel so led, please join in … prayerers are always needed!
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Amen!
MRoubaix,
It would be our honor to pray for your mother and what a blessing you are to her to seek others in unity.
Abba, Father,
You direct oceans where to go and set the stars in their place. Not one hair on our head is moved without Your full knowledge.
Every cell in our body is engineered by You and we are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Father, I ask that M’s Mom be ministered to in order to heal whatever adverse reaction she is having to her surgery. May the antibiotics given prove effective and arrest any infections that are striving to afflict her.
Give her Divine Healing to restore full movement of her mouth without pain, and give her good nourishment to aide in her body’s healing. Grant her restful and restorative sleep, so that she may be comforted in her time of healing and need.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
I’ll thank you twice, JWoo: first for your uplifting opening and also for taking the time to share a prayer. Both are very much appreciated.
No such thing as a small prayer, as all petitions are important in the eyes of God. The Lord bless you for your care & concern, MR. I pray for your mom that our Heavenly Father would touch her with His healing power & take away any & all traces of infection, restoring her to full health. God bless.
Thank you, Joe Blow. I was thinking of the scale of my request versus the many issues and tragic situations in the world, but that was a beautiful reminder about all petitions being important in the eyes of God.
please pray for Jim Burns
he is a regular treeper going in for a heart afib procedure
please pray for him
O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth!
You are a Stronghold in times of trouble; our Shelter from the storm.
Some trust in chariots and some trust in horses. But we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
Thank You, God, for making a way for us to come to You for help.
We are grateful to You for redeeming us by the blood of Your perfect, righteous Son, Jesus.
Thank You that He is seated on the throne – at Your right hand – and interceding for us.
That is so humbling and precious, O God. We give thanks to You with our whole heart.
Dear Lord, we bring our friend, Jim, to You for help.
You know all things about him and his heart procedure tomorrow.
You are in control of every detail and You know best what Jim needs.
Please help the medical team give him excellent care, with compassion.
Please provide Jim with any support afterwards during his recovery.
God, remind Jim that You have a good plan for the rest of his days – and nothing can stop it.
Grant him Your peace that transcends all understanding, because he trusts in You.
Remind him, Lord, that he belongs to You and You are responsible for his times.
Please strengthen his body – physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Remove any fear and anxiety from Jim; help him to sense Your Presence with him in a special way.
Thank You, dear God, for Your tender mercy toward us.
You understand when our bodies are weak and susceptible to worry.
Please lead Jim to a place of quiet rest – near to Your heart, dear Lord.
Hold him close to Thee, and strengthen his faith in You.
Comfort Jim with the knowledge of Your boundless love for him.
Lord, please give Jim Your perfect Peace, because his mind is fixed on You.
You are the Author and Finisher of his faith.
You mighty to save, and faithful to Your promises.
We are obediently calling on You, Father, because You are the only One from whence cometh our help.
You will watch over Jim’s coming and going – and over his life forevermore.
We thank You for all You will do for him.
Thank You, Lord, that You tell us You will never forsake those who seek You.
Cause many of those involved experience Your lovingkindness, O God, and turn to You.
Please use this circumstance for Jim’s good – and for Your glory.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom.
🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻
Amen, brother Mo.
Praying for Jim for a successful procedure, that the Lord might guide the hands of the doctors, & for a swift & peaceful recovery. God bless you, molon.
Prayers up for a successful rescue of that submarine and its passengers.
a prayer for the lost submarine passengers and rescue teams.
Lord God, You are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.
You are good to all and have compassion on all You have made.
You, O Lord, are the Author and Giver of life. You are the Sovereign Lord Who rules over everything.
Power and might are in Your hands, and nothing is too hard for You.
O God, You are All-wise and All-knowing. You are always on time – never late.
You are the Eternal God, who sees and understands everything from beginning to end.
Lord, please help those passengers lost in the submarine.
You know what they need, and we ask that Your good, perfect, and righteous will be done.
Please draw each one to Yourself. May each call upon the name of the Lord and be saved.
May they be at peace with You, Gracious God, and receive Your salvation.
Please comfort them, and their families, and lead them to trust in You.
Lord, please help all the rescue teams to find them.
We ask that You will be glorified in this terrible circumstance, and please bring good from it.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
I would ask for prayers for my son. He has congestive heart failure at 39 yrs old. He is currently trying to get ssi disability and keeps getting turned down for one reason or another,it doesn’t help that the people working on his case tell him it should’ve already been approved months ago. His latest bout almost cost him his life as his heart was at 5% function. I know God is with him because he is getting stronger but now there are problems with Dr visits running out and also medications. I know i shouldn’t worry but things seem very dire at the moment. Thank You
Just Me, So sorry to hear of your son’s serious health issue. My son is several years older than yours, and I’ve witnessed him go through several health crises. Thankfully, the Lord gives us His mercy, grace, and power to watch from the sidelines, as He works in their lives.
God is faithful to help those who call on Him.
a prayer:
Our Father in heaven, You are our Creator, Ruler over everything, and Sustainer of life.
You graciously pour out Your kindness and mercy on us every day.
You have given us Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, that we might be saved.
He lived a perfect, righteous life, died sacrificially, and rose triumphantly from the dead.
He is now seated on the throne, at Your right hand, and is continually interceding for us.
We do not deserve any of Your goodness, dear God, but we gratefully thank You.
Lord, we humbly bring Justme’s son to Your throne, where he may receive mercy and grace.
He needs Your compassionate help, Father.
Your Word tells us to call upon You in our day of trouble, and You will deliver us, and we will glorify You.
Lord, please provide for all of her son’s needs – physical, emotional, and spiritual, through Christ.
Please give him relief and comfort. Help him to not be anxious about anything, but to ask You for everything, even the smallest care.
Remind JM’s son that Your eye is on the sparrow, and You also watch over him.
Help him to know that his times are in Your loving hands, and that You are faithful.
Lord, help her son to trust in You with all of his heart and not lean on his own understanding.
Help him to cling to the truth that You have a loving purpose for his suffering.
Strengthen his spirit so he will become more than a conqueror in Christ.
Grant him contentment in every circumstance because he knows that You are with him, and You will not forsake him.
Fill him with a living hope that You are in control of his life and will make a way when there seems to be no way.
Teach him that Your grace is sufficient for all of his needs. Remind him that nothing is too difficult for You.
Lord, You have determined the number of the stars, and you call them each by name.
Because of your great power, not one of them is missing.
Dear God, please put a song in his mouth, a hymn of praise to You, because of Your lovingkindness towards him.
Help her son to see and hear You wherever he goes, because You go before him, and You are his rear guard.
May Your Presence be so tangible, Lord, that he knows You are certainly near.
O Lord, please minister to Just Me as she (he) watches her son suffer.
You know all about this, as You watched Your Son experience horrible things, including death on a cross.
Please grant her Your grace and mercy for the days ahead.
Lord, You came to heal the broken-hearted and bind up their wounds. Please do this for JustMe.
And we praise You and thank You for all of Your goodness to her and her dear son.
Gracious God, please minister to this family and provide for their every need.
Teach them what they need to know; give them perseverance and endurance to run the race that You have set before them.
Help them to always remember that Your love is endless and You know what is best.
Draw them near to Your heart, dear Lord, and may they rest in Thy faithfulness.
Lead them closer to You; give them courage and perfect peace because they fix their eyes upon You.
Help them to remember that even the wind and the waves obey You in the storm.
And You are their Anchor in this storm – their solid Rock.
Lord, please use all of this great trial and hardship for their good, and for Your glory.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom, shalom.
”God is our Refuge and Strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Psalm 46:1
Amen.
Amen
First, thank God that you said he’s getting stronger. Lifting up your son in Jesus’ name for healing of his condition, & until such time that he would be able to continue seeing the doctor & getting the meds he needs. Also praying that his disability will get pushed through by means of intervention from the Lord. God bless, JM.
Amen.
Just Me: I’ve prayed for healing for your son, that there will be a sudden loosening of the bureaucratic tangles that have so far stopped him from getting SSI disability, and that he gets the medical visits and medications he needs. Also, I know personally how hard it is not to worry about a family member. Don’t be hard on yourself and remember it’s a sign of love.
Amen.
Father bless every one that prayed for my son and everyone else here. Thank you for taking time to do this for others.
You’re so kind, JustMe …
My time is His time! Trying to invest in His kingdom best way I can presently…
Please keep the faith, JM.
God has got this. And He loves you both!
🙏🏻
Prayers up! He’s got the whole world in His hands! 39 with heart failure should put him on a transplant list if there is only 5% cardiac function.
St. John of God, Patron of the Heart, please take our prayers to the Father!
Today going to divorce court with a young friend. He is representing himself and the judge doesn’t like it. Lots of conflict over custody. He had to stop traveling for custody issues and lost his job. Had new job for 2 months and is paying support again. Please pray for favor and the judge to search for best interest of the kids. Thanks, Robb
Robb, My heart breaks for all involved. Divorce seems like an easy resolution to problems; yet, it only opens a can of worms, leaving lifelong scars.
I will pray:
Lord God, You are merciful and full of compassion. And this family needs You.
Only You can heal the broken-hearted and bind up their wounds.
You know each person’s heart in this situation.
Lord, even though the adults are hurting, the little ones suffer terribly.
We bring this broken family to Your throne and humbly ask for Your help.
Please direct the judge’s mind and decisions that will be best for the children.
Please, Gracious God, intervene on behalf of these precious ones.
O Lord, comfort all of these family members and lead them in Your way for the rest of their days.
Please restore to them what the devil has destroyed.
Give each one Your grace, mercy, and peace for the days ahead.
Help them all to look to You for everything they need. Continue to draw them to Yourself, surrendering their lives to You.
May You received glory and honor from this heart-wrenching situation.
O God, You have said that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Please usher Your blessings and favor into their lives and give them hope — Hope in You for better days of peace, joy, and comfort.
Lord, You know satan enjoys breaking up families, but You have the last word. You are the Word.
Please move and intervene in a mighty way to bring good out of this.
Thank You for all You will do for this family. We humbly ask that Your good, perfect and righteous will be done in their lives.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom.
💔🙏🏻💔
Amen. Miss Della…you are the best pray-er! You put into words what most are feeling and thinking. Thank you!
Indeed…. Amen.
🙏🏻🌷
Hello, Nana – good to see you! Have been thinking of you and yours … hope all are well..
Thanks be to God for the prayers! Nana, I ask the Holy Spirit to give me the words. Then, I just type them.
(Am going to make them shorter, tho – get carried away!) 😁🥰
Saw this pic and thought of you and your dear sis.
Blessings to you,
Thank you so much Miss Della. That is so sweet and very thoughtful of you to think of my sister and me.
laying a bit low lately…oldest son has a GI appointment on Monday. So far lab work and stool specimen are normal. Praying this is nothing serious. Of course I think of Alex and all he went through as well as my sister and brother in law.
my days are prayer filled but none so eloquent as your prayers!
Nana, it’s understandable to feel low when our children experience problems. And more so when there’s nothing we can do!
I’m sorry, but do not know about Alex – must be before my time here?
I will pray for your son, and please check back with us if you can.
a prayer:
O LORD, You are our Rock, our Fortress, and our Deliverer. You are our Refuge and our Shield.
Lord, You are our Maker, full of compassion and mercy.
You are Sovereign over everything, even the smallest detail of our lives.
We thank You for your tender care for us, and that You bid us to come to You for help.
We humbly bring Nana’s son to Your throne. You know all about his health problem and what he needs.
Please provide excellent medical care for him. Guide the medical team to properly treat him that he may be restored to wellness.
Please give him relief and lead him to recovery.
Lord, please fill him with Your peace and grace during this trial.
Please strengthen Nana and all other family who love him as they watch and wait for his diagnosis and treatment.
Help them to not worry or be anxious, because You are in charge, and You love them.
Cover this family, O Lord, with all that they need. May You be glorified in this situation.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom.
🙏🏻🌷🙏🏻
Thank you Miss. Della. You are a gem on this limb! You give voice to so many of us here that pray for each other in their own way and then read your written prayers and pray them as well. At least that’s what I do. I shouldn’t speak for everyone and if I offended, I apologize.
My nephew Alex was 39 when diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. This branch of the treehouse listened almost day by day and prayed and prayed for Alex and prayed for my sister and me as the cancer overtook him. I will be forever grateful for so much support. The love of Jesus from the treepers here held my sister and me up. Even still…I see the love of Christians on this limb and love for one another is boundless. As we are called to do and we do it willingly and humbly knowing God is in control.
Now my oldest son is having GI problems and I hope and pray it isn’t CA. He is a vet and served in the surge…his entire deployment I felt like I was holding my breath. Once again I am holding my breath. Quiet. Prayerful. Gratitude. As it is written, be not afraid…yet..I am afraid and chastise myself for feeling so.
I thank you for your prayers as well as all prayers given here for all who need them. It is a real comfort.
Reading your thoughtful prayers for all here articulate what my fingers can’t type but my soul does and I trust God hears them all.
Blessings to you my sister in Christ.
Nana, praying for your son that this is nothing serious & that the Lord will keep & sustain you both. May you be awash in His perfect peace.
Amen, amen.
yes, His perfect peace.
Bless you, Nana. I understand about holding our breath for adult children. It probably will be this way till we take our last one! However, mine was not deployed and can imagine your time of testing!
Please don’t berate yourself for feeling afraid.
God made us, and He understands that we are created from dust.
While on earth, Jesus told us multiple times to “fear not” because He knows our weak frame.
Give yourself grace – as God gives us His grace. And each day, He will strengthen that grace and faith.
It’s a process – many times a slow one. But He will help you.
Dear Lord, please help us all to grow in Your grace and knowledge.
Help us to believe Your promises, especially during our trials and fears.
Strengthen us, day-by-day, on this journey of faith until You call us home where faith will become sight.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Nana, I am adding your son to my prayers!
Praying that your son receives good news today NanaB.May the Almighty bless him and you as well.Amen.
Amen.
Thank you CBB and Miss Della and Joe Blow. My son’s appointment went well..GI doc thinks it is a norovirus post infection irritable bowel syndrome. She was not alarmed. He is on an Rx to control episodes. She gave him a list of foods to avoid. Scheduled a colonoscopy…soonest he can get in is November 2!! She did expect he would be feeling better in two weeks and if not to call her office back and they would see him again. So an uneasy calm for me..wait and see. Thank you for all of your prayers and kind words. May God continue to bless all of us on this branch of refuge and hope and love of our savior and each other.
Praise God for that, Nana. Continued prayers & blessings to you.
Blessed be God Forever.
So glad to hear that, Nana! Please don’t worry about it … besides, the Lord may return for us all before November.
Seriously…
Praise You, Lord!
Thanks so much for the kind word and effective prayers..
Thanks be to God, Robb!
He hears all of our cries, and puts our tears in His bottle.
He is at work, and loves them all.
Blessings to you for being a caring friend…
🌷🌷
Asking for prayers for Gerald. He was just diagnosed with cancer in his esophagus. That is a tough one to treat.
thank you 🙏❤️
Hello BC, I’ve been thinking of you and still praying! Hope you’re doing okay!
So sorry to hear about your friend, Gerald. My aunt had esophageal cancer, too.
I will pray…
O God Most High, You are the God Who fulfills Your purpose for us.
You are our Creator and You sustain us by Your powerful word.
O Lord, You are our Healer, and the Great Physician. We thank You.
We humbly bring Gerald to You for help, dear Lord.
You know all about his cancer and what he needs.
Please provide excellent medical care and support in every way.
Help him to trust in You with all of his heart, and not be afraid.
Strengthen his spirit, heart, and mind as he battles this disease.
Please give him Your sufficient grace for all of this affliction.
Lord, please lead Gerald to surrender his whole life to Your Will.
Help him to understand that Your Will is always good, perfect, and righteous.
You always know what is best for him and will provide accordingly.
Gracious God, please give him relief from suffering, and give him Your peace.
Lord, You are merciful and faithful. Please make a way for Gerald as he faces this great trial.
Please show Yourself strong on his behalf, and may You receive glory and honor.
Help others to seek You for salvation, as they witness Your tender care for Gerald.
We thank You for all You will do for Gerald, and his loved ones. You are our only Help.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom, shalom.
”I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.”
Psalm 16:8
(Bc: the above Scripture carried me through a great trial years ago. I had lung tumor and went for a biopsy. When they put me in the scan machine, the tumor was gone! All of this ordeal went on for six weeks, and many prayers went up. God healed me. He can do that!!)
Amen.
Praise God for your healing, Miss Della! What a wonderful testimony!
Bless you, Joe … It was an amazing time 17 years ago, and will never forget it!
The nurses and, especially the doctor, were in disbelief that morning.
I told the doctor that God had healed me. He just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn’t know what happened.
I try to encourage others that God really does have the last word.
But in some instances, His perfect decision for us is that our time on earth is done. But mine wasn’t then.
Even when we KNOW God’s promises, times like these can put a person into a “trance-like” mindset.
Thinking about your possible mortality, while going thru the testing and keeping your emotions in check, make this season extremely hard.
I know about your father with cancer, and certain you have experienced these things, too.
Been thinking of you, Joe. Pray you’re doing well.
🙏🏻
Thank you, Miss Della. Yes, I definitely have experienced this before. Your testimony also made me think of my mother’s own healing from the Lord which was what finally propelled me to accept Jesus as my Savior. He had been chasing me down for years but I was always resisting. She was scheduled for surgery but had a scan about a week or so before. When the doctor read it he found that her mass had “inexplicably” shrunk down to almost nothing & he cancelled the surgery. That was the moment that eternity changed for my entire family. Thank you for reminding me of it again. 🥰
Such a beautiful testimony, Joe! I love hearing how God works in people’s lives.
Of course, He had been pursuing you from birth, and redeemed you “in the fullness of time.”
The Lord knows how and when to deliver each of us into His kingdom.
Praise You, Lord …
Blessings…
Asking for healing for Gerald in the mighty name of Jesus, to be healed completely of this cancer. May he be upheld & strengthened by His might & receive the best possible earthly care.
Amen.
Praying that doctors are able to treat Gerald’s cancer and return him to good health.Asking this in the name of our Lord and Savior,Jesus Christ.Amen.
Amen.
To my beloved Treeper Prayer Warriors…thank you…! Please keep those prayers coming!
Though I once made it a habit to read & post in the prayer requests often, I have not done so in a long, long time. Even though the last 2 years have been the most difficult I’ve ever encountered.
My beautiful, faithful, and devout mother died April 1. My equally devout and loving Daddy passed away just 6 weeks later on May 13.
The grief is unbearable. The stress is just as overwhelming.
Alone I am having to clean out a 2200 sq ft home with a full basement.
Worse still, Mother had 6 cats she loved like children. I love them too. I am driving an hour round trip every day to care for them. I have to find them homes- loving homes, not cages where they’ll sit, waiting for someone to adopt them. All 4 girls are older- 9, 13, and two 11 yr olds. People just don’t want cats unless they’re a long-hair or a kitten.
I am asking for prayers that I will be able to find them a home quickly, before my siblings sell the house, or that a certain rescue will agree to take them. This rescue has been incredible at finding good homes for older cats. I don’t yet know if they’ll agree to take them. I’ve been turned down by others.
I took 2 of her cats that are even older and have issues. I can’t afford to take the others nor do I have the room.
Please ask God to intervene and find homes for them. I am so desperate and overwhelmed.
Thank you in advance for your prayers. And please know that I ask God to bring healing, peace, and comfort to each one here who is suffering.
My deepest sympathy for your losses LLL.I pray that your desperation will pass, and peace and calm will be returned to your life.God bless you for taking the time and effort to try and care for the kitties.I had one, among many neighborhood cats that I feed, that just died Saturday. The owners moved and just left him.He was a beautiful golden cat that looked like he got hit by one of the boom boom crowd that likes to drive down the street at 60 mph.My wife was so distraught.Very sad…I gave him a final rest and a prayer of St. Frances.May our Lord bless you for trying to find them homes where they will be loved and cared for like your mother would…They are God’s creatures too…
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy.
Be at peace…
Casco….see my kitty saint upthread….LLL, am praying for you and your efforts!
Thank you Aggiegirl.
Cascoe, Sorry to hear about the loss of your little cat friend.
It’s heartbreaking when people neglect their animals – leaving them to fend for themselves.
Bless you for tending to those who need help.
Father, Thank You for all creatures You have made – big and small.
Our lives are richly blessed by our various animals, and we are grateful.
Lord, You know about Cascoe’s kitty friend who died several days ago;
You know when a sparrow falls to the ground – nothing escapes Your notice.
You love all of Your creatures, God, and You care about them.
Please comfort Cascoe and his wife; encourage them as only You can do.
Provide all of their needs, as they desire and attempt to help other cats who have no caretakers.
Lord, please bless Cascoe and his household; make the Light of Your face shine upon them.
For Christ’s sake.
Amen.

You are so very kind my friend…Blessings be upon you!
I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother and father so close together. May they be resting in peace with God our Father together.
im sorry too for the huge tasks before you. I pray you call upon Jesus to help you through all of this..something your parents home as well as finding good homes for the kitties. Through it all, may you feel the presence of Jesus by your side and give you peace. Blessings to you.
Sorting through not something.
LLL, I sympathize with you very much. I would often tell people of the peace of the Lord that surpasses all understanding on these very pages, & while I knew it to be true because it is God’s Word, I hadn’t necessarily had the chance to experience it for myself until my own father passed last year. I can assure you it is real & He is with you now. I pray for that magnificent peace of the Lord to cover you like a warm blanket, & for His guidance to help you find a solution for these poor precious creatures. God bless you so very much.
Prayers up!
O holy St. Gertrude of Nivelles, Patron Saint of Cats,
I ask you to pray that my sweet kitty(ies) will always be content,
energetic, curious, playful, and good-natured.
I pray my cat(s) will be a joy to me and those I love.
Carry my cat(s) to the throne of the Father and ask Him to bless my cat(s)
with long life and great happiness.
Pray dear saint that my cat(s) stay free from illness and that my cat(s) always feel safe,
protected, and loved.
Thank you for asking blessings upon my cat(s).
Ask the Lord to pour out special graces upon all cats and cat owners.
May they bring great love to one another and live companionably in peace.
Amen.
I am so sorry for your losses….May you find comfort from the Lord. May He hold you in the palm of His hand….
My own parents departed in much the same way….mom first, daddy, 8 weeks to the day later…it does get easier…takes some time…just remember that you are never ever alone…
May our Lord bring you peace and clarity as you face these these tasks of life.
On an aside….there are some communities that have “pet” food pantries….look into one of those if you are lucky enough to have one close by….you might be able to get some temporary assistance with kitty litter and kitty kibble.
Lake, you have my deepest sympathy for your great losses – both parents.
These events are some of life’s major traumas. And I am sorry.
My mother died seven years ago, and as an only child, I was the one left to handle all her affairs.
It was indeed overwhelming, and some days, I didn’t think that light would be at the end of tunnel.
But the Lord stood by my side, and gave me strength…
He will do the same for you, Lake, one day at a time.
a prayer:
Gracious God, Thank You for making a way for us to come to Your throne … by your Son, Jesus.
Thank You for Your mercy and compassion for us.
Thank You for Your all-sufficient grace to help us in our time of need.
Lord, we humbly bring LakeLureLife to You for Your tender care.
Lord God, You know all of his needs and upcoming responsibilities. Please make a way for each one.
You tell us that man makes his plans, but it is the Lord Who directs our steps.
Please shine Your Light upon his path, and guide him day-by-day, according to Your will.
God, You tell us that the Lord is near to the broken-hearted and You bind up their wounds.
You tell us that You are our Comforter, and our Strength.
Lord, You are close to those who are hurting and You save those who are crushed in spirit.
Please help Lake to be strong in the Lord, and courageous, as he believes Your promises to help him.
Please minister to Lake in the days ahead with Your Peace, Your Power, and Your Presence.
Help him to hear Your small, still voice as You lead him to green pastures and still waters.
You will restore his soul to a place of quiet rest.
And we thank You, dear Lord.
Thank you, O God, that Lake’s mother and father are now with You – in Your presence.
Jesus said that where He is in heaven, we may be with Him, also.
Thank You for leading them safely to their eternal home.
Lord, please give those kitties a good, loving home.
You know most people don’t want an older cat, but You can do all things.
You care for Your creatures, and Lake is concerned for their future.
Your Word says that a righteous man cares for the needs of his animals; Lake is doing that, dear Lord.
Please bless him, as he helps the kitties…
O God, please use all of these circumstances to draw others to You – and into Your kingdom.
May You be glorified in all of this.
Please pour Your love into Lake’s heart in the coming days, as You lead him by Your Mighty hand.
Lord, You invited us to come to You, all who are weary and burdened- and You would give them rest.
We are bringing Lake to You, by faith in Your Son, for all of these things.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Shalom, Shalom.

Thank you! Thank each of you for the beautiful prayers. I know The Father hears each one and I am blessed.
In a special way, I am praying to St. Thomas More for him to bring my prayers to the Lord. I believe he did, without my realizing it.
Everything is all mixed up right now.
St. Thomas More is very special to me…when I was first learning about the Tudor Dynasty and the demise of Anne Boleyn (and her successors). And the fact that I was married in a St. Thomas More church….
Thomas had the inner strength to stand for his belief.
June 22 was the Good Saint’s feast day….on that day in court, my son received a small amount of justice. I just now made the connection of the date…and court date.
Coincidence? I don’t think so…
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
English Standard Version
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Thank you Lord, for the many miracles and blessings bestowed upon my house.
Dear God, in a special way, please bestow your blessings upon the faithful here, who love You and pray, unceasingly, for others.
Could you please pray for my Aunt Sandra? She’s in a nursing home, and a few days ago she fell down and was incoherent after. She was already in very poor health. We haven’t been able to find out anything about her condition since then (she doesn’t answer her phone now, she’s in another state, and her children don’t want to talk to us).
I’m sorry to hear this, Joshua. I pray that the Lord would lift up your Aunt Sandra & provide her with His healing touch, that He would be merciful to her & restore her faculties, & that if at all possible communication might be restored to you & your family either from her, your cousins, or both. The Lord bless you.
Amen.
Joshua, I’m sorry to hear about your aunt. My mother was briefly in a nursing home, and it’s a difficult, sad situation.
Also, sorry that your relatives are not communicating, but bless you for caring about your aunt.
a prayer:
Lord God, Thank You for Your lovingkindness towards us. You are our Maker, the Author and Giver of life.
Lord, You are the Sovereign Ruler over everyone and everything. You are all-wise and all-powerful, our Mighty God.
Dear Lord, please help Joshua’s Aunt Sandra. She needs You to work on her behalf, and rescue her from this situation.
Please give her relief and may Your perfect will be done in her life.
Please lead Sandra to her eternal home with You at her appointed time.
Give her Your peace, and may Your Presence comfort her in every way.
Please minister to her family and draw them to You, Lord.
Restore these family relationships, and lead them all in paths of righteousness for Your namesake.
May You receive glory through this difficulty, and please bring good out of it.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
