Let’s start with his first of three suspicions.

He is talking about deleting a sequence from GENBANK. Would it surprise you to know that GENBANK contains millions of “virus” sequences and those millions of sequences are changed/deleted constantly by the people who put them there in the first place.
To the ignorant, it might seem that one out of the millions of changes to GENBANK is, as Redfield says, highly irregular. But, to the informed, a change to or removal of one single sequence is evidence of nothing more than further research revealing a letter was out of place in the sequence. It is not evidence, as Redfield suggests, that some bad stuff happened which should make everyone’s hair stand on end.
Let’s go to the third one- a real laugher.

I am personally of the opinion that railroads are now running trains that are simply “too long.” They insert one or more locomotives into the middle of trains that are sometimes nearly 200 cars long, manned by a crew of two. There also seems to be insufficient attention to the maintenance (lubrication) of the individual cars in the consist.
I suggest that the Federal Railroad Administration should begin “asking reasonable questions” about these practices. Maybe they should “offer guidelines (sic …),” with the understanding that railroads should “get the message quickly.”
While every enterprise should be entitled to run their operations as cost-effectively as they can, it does seem to me that they maybe have now gone too far. They’re not running short of available locomotives.
Just a little bit i learned from CSX friend in south georgia. Locomotives in the middle of trains is called distributive power.
When I was growing up the trains would pass on the tracks in northern Ohio, and I would count the cars while we sat there. I never counted more than 120 cars. If they had to stop for a long time, someone would come along and break the train for the roads the tracks were crossing, which was nice. The trains also had cabooses.
200 cars is lunacy. We don’t keep up our tracks THAT well.
As an adult I liked reading the contents of the tank cars, but after 9/11 they started painting those names out so terrorists wouldn’t know what was being transported. They still keep the 4-number codes on them, but to read those you need a little book that all fire stations have, that tells you what chemical each of those codes represent and how to deal with spills and fires involving those chemicals. It’s fascinating reading.
Trains are much more efficient at transporting goods than semi-trucks, for bulk and long haul. We need the trucks at the ends of the long hauls. But safety has to be a high priority when you’re hauling large amounts of not-good-for-you chemicals. It would be good business sense (to me) to keep maintenance standards up and the infrastructure in good shape.

He absolutely believes and gives sworn testimony to the effect that Dr. Fauci and Jeremy Farrar, director of the Wellcome Trust and soon be the chief scientist at the World Health Organization, covered up the lab leak information. How Dr. Redfield himself was excluded from the meetings when the processes, strategy and tactics for covering up the lab leak were developed.
This winter, we had a high level Federal employee on the farm. He/she came to me anonymously to express their concerns with what has happened in the execution of this corrupt and failed public health response, and in particular to how the vaccines were developed and implemented. She/he discussed how all of the high level meetings on the clinical trials, the safety of the vaccine, public health response were all done under complete secrecy. That recorders were turned off, plus cell phones and computers were not allowed into the meetings. So, there is literally NO RECORDS of these meetings.
This person believes that finding evidence of the malfeasance, in the meeting minutes or recordings, is going to be difficult. So, when the New York Times headliner (above) cynically states that the Republicans lack a “smoking gun,” I believe they know damn well why. The New York Times reporting and editorial staff is many things, but they are not stupid.

I traveled overnight for business so this morning I was in a hotel and had CNBC on. They had a segment with Jeremy Siegel, a Wharton finance professor and a sharp guy I pay attention to. He normally discusses stock market conditions, but today, they asked him about the Fed, and boy did he give them an earful. He pointed out how the Fed is ignoring the slowdown in home sales, the decline in rental rates, and the drop in durable goods orders, and is instead single-mindedly focused on wages. As Siegel pointed out, the wage increases the Fed is so determined to crush haven’t even kept up with inflation. He said that the Fed should back off and let labor market conditions adjust. If there aren’t enough workers, then wages go up and a new equilibrium is reached. That’s how free markets work. He’s absolutely correct. The Fed is trying to crush wages and energy demand and is risking a massive economic slowdown. The uniparty elites like to spout off about free markets but they sure don’t like them. As soon as wages go up, they open the border and tighten the money supply to stop it rather than letting the labor market adjust.
As usual, the Wall Street Journal editorial page loves what the Fed is doing (no matter what conditions are, the editors want higher interest rates), and I couldn’t help myself and left a comment. Surprisingly, I got some likes and comments agreeing with me. I figured I’d get ravaged by the neocons and Rinos that newspaper is popular with.

Now that the turtle has fallen off of the fence post, it is time to start the process of picking his replacement in the senate leadership.
He may not vacate his seat with this “fall off of the post”, but it is just a matter of time before he will vacate his leadership seat.
No doubt the senate’s good-ol’-boy system has someone to put in his place to protect the RINO GOPe gang.
We have to be ready to reject that selection and have a MEGA MAGA senator ready to support.
