Regarding the Murdaugh trial, there was cable crime show on this morning about the boat wreck and investigation/trial for the (I think) now deceased son…where someone died in the boat wreck.
It used to be that the lawyers or investigators all wrote books about their ‘trial of the century’.
Am thinking that the major network that included the Murdaugh trial, along with Nancy Grace and her input….another lawyerly way to capitalize ahead of book deals? Or in place of?
Kind of sad in many respects…I wonder how this really played out as I think the one boy killed by dad, was the one at the helm of the boat? And somehow, the wife’s ‘estate’ was who was being sued in the first lawsuit.

I’ll admit I was one of those cheerleaders. I thought he’d be a great VP under Trump and solidify 8 additional years beyond Trump. It wasn’t until SD started signaling alarm – that I stood back to look at bigger picture (thx for that SD!).
I learned my lesson a few years back (after cheering for Jeff Sessions😬) to pay close attention to the granular details outlined at CTH and finally started adhering to the advise from SD to CTH readers to ‘discern from what is known and factual not what is preferred’. It’s been life changing advise.

I was a huge DeSantis supporter from the time he was my congressman, I am just furious that he is out campaigning without officially announcing he is running in 2024. We Floridians voted for him to be our Governor for four years so his betrayal is not just to President Trump.

Allows setting up the fated train to simply derail at the site of the prepositioned tanker car where it will reliably begin burning no matter how the other cars tumble off the rails.
Essentially a squib, to set off a conflagration, essential to the narrative that a “controlled burn” was absolutely necessary due to this car, and subsequently adjacent derailed cars that the fire then spread to, risking an explosion of the more volatile cargoes, which they supposedly were afterwards seeking to avoid with the insane not-so-controlled burn.
Creating the justification for such an action based on how the cars might tumble and having the fire originate on one of those cars would be much more difficult to do reliably, as it’s possible the one they set up to catch fire didn’t derail at all; train wrecks are a metaphor for chaos for a reason after all.
It could also ensure that certain substances would make their way directly to the nearby waterway.

At the last doctor appointment, the front desk has forms they always went filled out, insurance info, HIPPA disclaimers, and such.

I drew a line through that sentence, wrote the words “No” and “Opting Out Now” and put the date. Not sure that will work but made a point that the front desk receptionist who types in the information will notice it. At least the doctor was willing to see me, not sure if that will last since lately doctors are actually firing patients who won’t comply with the new dictates of the administrative state.
Remember to always read the fine print when first being asked to sign documents before the doctor sees you and make your decision known before being assimilated and later having to find out you have to fight to get out of the hive mind. It’s a small step, but sand nonetheless.

Some day-after ruminations on President Trump’s CPAC speech last night.
First, politicians often engage in hyperbole. “This is the most important election of our lifetimes!” comes around every four years. I know, I know.
It is my assessment that President Trump’s pronouncement that everything rests on the next two years and the next election, is qualitatively different. It is a statement of the reality on the ground. The enemy is all in and is willing to go nuclear, in the literal sense of the phrase, to win the war that began long before almost anyone alive today was even conceived.
We made it to overtime only because of the miracle of the 2016 Trump victory, and now we are down to penalty kicks of the nuclear football.
Second, the four words from the speech that will ring out and amplify in the next weeks are, in my estimation, likely to be “I am your retribution. ” Those words are bait, and a trap, and a promise, and a smart choice.
I Am Your Retribution.
Bait, because the MSM will deflect its own terror at those words into a campaign to use them to terrify the Narrative Addicts. The same people who fell for the Covington Catholic hoax will swallow the reinforcement of the “Trump is unhinged” mantra, and the MSM knows it, so the MSM will spread it. It would take supreme act of will and considerable insight for the MSM to resist. I predict they won’t, and in spreading those words, they will be doing President Trump’s will.
