My understanding is that there is a very detailed and secure process for people to read classified documents. Check out to read in a secure SKIFF and must be returned to before departing. Someone or some department is in charge of that process.
Anyway, it obviously is not working since there seems to be an abundance of Classified Documents everywhere. And that’s just with Trump, Biden and now Pence. With all the government officials that have the clearance to read Classified Documents and with an apparent lack of security, Classified Documents may be everywhere. I saw that this morning and my first thought was that any ‘new building’ should be half as big as their current break room, if even.

Sure, selling oil to China is particularly abusive. But why not enforce the prohibition on politically-motivated sales, which would have stopped sales to China and everybody else?
This bill carves out an exception prohibiting sales to China, while normalizing “Biden’s” price manipulation – that is, ‘defining deviancy downward,’ as it was called in the 1990s.
Presumably, the GOPe plans to manipulate the price of oil themselves, when it proves to be electorally convenient.
The way the word is used in the press implies Rs doing what the Ds want.

Andy Biggs is introducing a new impeachment article against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, accusing him of violaring his oath of office and failing to enforce U.S. immigration law.
Someone should certainly be held accountable for all of this.
But will they ever be?
Even if articles of impeachment are passed in the House (which is not a certainty), we would still need a conviction in the Senate.
Is there one Democrat in the upper chamber that would vote to convict either Mayorkas or Biden, to say nothing of enough of them to reach the required 2/3 margin? Sadly, I wouldn’t bet on it. But, there has to be a pressure point in all of this that would get Mayonnaise Myorkas to resign.
So, we’re likely facing two more years of the same ongoing crisis, and it might be even longer than that if the GOP can’t rally an actual “for real” red wave in the 2024 Presidential and Senate races.
Eliminate his pay.
A person may be tried on State charges as well as Federal charges for the same crime, the rationale being that there is no double jeopardy because the State and Federal governments are separate sovereignties. That’s a two way street. The Federal government likes to pile on charges for what are State issues while they themselves commit criminal acts. That needs to end. States need to assert their sovereignty from the Federal assault conducted by Mayorkas. States should in their courts bring criminal charges against Mayorkas. Not lawsuits in Federal courts, criminal charges in State courts.
Mayorkas could be charged with a second degree felony under provisions of Texas Penal Code Sec. 20.05
Okay. I have to admit – outstanding choice to speak at the State of the Union for GOP.

Rep. Jordan has been in “Washington, DC politics” for many years. This question was loaded. So, he simply declined to answer it. “We are a long way off from what you just described, Shawn …”
How is it a “loaded question”? The elections were three months ago. They had two months to prepare and have now been in office for a month and nothing has happened. They’re sending “request letters” some of which mention the non-compliance with previous “request letters”. He can’t even bring himself to say they will issue subpoenas and enforce them.
They’ll bat around request letters and defiance for a few months then threaten subpoenas and by then it’s time for summer break, the subpoenas will have to wait until the fall. We’ve seen this charade far too many times already. Republican weakness will be the death of the United States.
Just heard on the radio the democrats screaming like the stuck pig banshees that they are about Ms. Omar (do we still call here Mrs because she married her brother?) being removed from her committee assignment. I can’t wait to see the video with popcorn.
