Steven Crowder is a smart and witty voice, generally a happy warrior who has been in the battle against the cultural and political progressive movement for over a decade. He’s been in the fight for quite a while and deserves a great deal of praise for bringing a generation of younger people into the fold. I respect his long-established time in the trenches of the cultural war, and we are helping him deliver his message.
Crowder’s audience, the “Mug Club”, is likely a mix of Gen-Z and Gen-X rebels throwing sand into the machinery. He does a great job producing content that deconstructs the insanity of the political left in a way that works and expands his audience. Crowder has almost 6 million YouTube subscribers and while I don’t follow him closely, the message he delivered yesterday is very pertinent.
The problem he outlines is an inside baseball dynamic taking place in the background of the conservative media. It essentially boils down to a financial issue CTH raised a long time ago when the first signals of this troubling trend started. Most of the “well known” conservative media outlets have been purchased and co-opted by a financial system that ultimately controls their content. If you have the time, WATCH:
.
What Crowder is discussing is the reason why Michelle Malkin dropped out of the fight. The “BigCon” Crowder notes is essentially like the Fox News of alternative media. They offer incentives to monetize the content provider (broadcaster, website, pod caster etc.) then lock the content providers into extremely controlling contracts that control the outcomes.
Ultimately, what the audience ends up seeing is an approved finished product that is acceptable to BigCon and Big Tech. In essence they are in bed together to stop bold and alternative conversation and filtrate the message to shades of soft pastels.
Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA (TPUSA), Posobiec, Tim Poole, Conservative Review, CRTV (Glenn Beck, Blaze), Mark Levin, Dave Rubin, Salem Media [Townhall, Hot Air, Twitchy, Red State, PJ Media], The Daily Wire with Ben Shapiro, Candace Owens, the list of names and outlets who participate in this overall system is very long. Upstream you will find the same financial underwriters, and all of them have a commonality.
Crowder is at an inflection point and obviously he is unwilling to capitulate to the guiding hands in control that no one is allowed to discuss.
Good for him. I hope he can leverage his influence to break the control mechanism, give startups an alternative, and continue the rebellion.
Proud Mug Clubber since 2020!!
Its Cultural MAGA.
Many of the influencers have been bought out.
Speaking of Big Tech
Please use Rumble over YouTube
https://rumble.com/v260f88-its-time-to-stop….html
Turns out that offer/contract Crowder was referencing came from the Daily Wire….they are in damage control now trying to explain it on YouTube.
Daily Wire have always been Cultural MAGA/RINO
and an amazingly punitive business contract
get de-platformed by your enemies and us, your contractual partner will decimate you further with our own deplatforming
its a deplatforming pincher movement
I’ve never been a Daily Wire fan, mostly because I can’t stand listening to Ben Shapiro. He’s like fingernails on chalkboard for me.
And isn’t he a lawyer?
Ben is, but what about Michal knowels, Matt Walsh?
Shapiro was at first a hard core anti Trumper.
Tells ya everything right there
There were a lot of principled purist types seeking out a Reagan, whereas some voices like Steyn and Coulter understood a brawler who fights on existential topics (mass immigration, CCP) had become necessary. No one else in the R list was going there.
Yes, and he openly said that he was wrong about Trump and voted for him in 2020. I long ago dropped out of the comments section here (still lurk, but don’t comment or reply), like many others. Too many comments like the above, which attack Shapiro for not having the “approved” political opinion, and which ignore the multiple times that he has apologized for being wrong, and never acknowledge that Trump supporting firebrands like Candace Owens and Michael Knowles openly state that they are able to say whatever they want on their own shows. The Backstage shows, which feature Boering, Shapiro and the other “stars” of DW,, feature debates that allow each one to express individual and differing opinions. But, that’s not good enough for the CTH crowd?
I have had my doubts about Ben Shapiro for a long time
Rumble does not download on my computer efficiently, I don’t know why. BitChute and others do just fine.
Exactly, we need to support free speech platforms like Rumble and not deep state, censorship loving platforms like Youtube.
Cultural MAGA is important, but you have to back it up with action. Just saying culturally MAGA words without following through is the problem.
Also, cultural MAGA needs to be joined with economic MAGA. Simply slapping a cultural MAGA veneer on establishment, global, neocon, RINO politics is not any good.
Cultural MAGA items like being pro-life, opposing gay marriage, opposing gun bans, opposing the transgender agenda, and opposing drag queen events geared towards children are all important things to fight for.
I have no interest in living in an economically MAGA world that is culturally woke. The culture war is important for quality of life and maintaining our culture.
In Crowder withdrawal the last few weeks. My routine is thrown out of whack anytime Louder with Crowder isn’t on.
Same. I watch him while I’m on the treadmill. Keeps my exercise routine interesting.
Steyn’s downtime from GBNews following this heart attack messed up my rythm. He was hammering topics verboten in in UK media like Pakistani prostitution grooming gangs, injuries and deaths from the jabs, and UK govt sponsorship of Islamic immigration. He has said on his Q&A that on Fox he couldn’t talk about anything core and was asked on there to riff funnily on some narrow topics.
You might want to listen to Tim Poole’s podcast from last night. He is not in the same boat as others. He’s independent.
He’s a midwit at best
If you believe Tim Poole is a conservative, you’re part of the problem. He’s the poster boy for milquetoast fence-sitters. I personally don’t care for his show, but I can see how some might like him. I noticed Steve Bannon and his War Room is not on that list.
Agree on Poole. Knows how to get clicks but never really takes a hard stance on anything.
His role is NOT to take hard stands. That’s why he’s able to reach people who are turned off by ideologues.
In persuasion its called pacing which allows you to slowly lead as trust is gained and maintained.
This format is a “we are on a journey of exploration TOGETHER”.
Fortunately, there are many options so everyone can find what suits their individual preferences.
While I appreciate what Tim Poole is doing, I personally find the food for thought he offers is mostly midwitted junk food. This is true for most ” content” creators.
One heck of a long journey we have taken together. The slow boat to nowhere and no results.
Thankfully, MAGA, like America, is a big tent that includes faaaar more people than those choosing to brand themselves with the conservative political label.
Instead of intentionally misleading and divisive political labels, many people, like President Trump, prefer to think of themselves as unique individuals and common sense Americans who love our country.
We are in a REAL Lord of the Rings survival war facing REAL saurons, death riders and orcs.
God bless Gandalf Trump and his Save America Alliance that includes more than just dwarves.
Tim Poole was a Bernie supporter. He may have changed some but that will always be part of his DNA.
Good point about the Warroom. In Steyn withdrawal I had turned to Bannon’s show for power plate workout sessions, cooking and such. The “Let’s take down the CCP” theme song transmits A flavor of the thinking, that the show goes after existential issues that threaten some really big rice bowls, the biggest of all being the gigantic skim off the lopsided trade with communist China.
He’s a fence sitter. I’ve listened for years now and while he isn’t a leftist anymore he still doesn’t like to rock thr baot and tries to maintain his in good standing status with the powers that be for public consumption. Does his hardest hitting, if you can call it that, behind pay wall. That’s how they win. If you will play by their rules for some of it now, then later you’ll be easy to control as they fence you in more and more.
Funny – Tim Poole is listed above as a participant in the cultural Maga takeover. Are the soft pastels that soothing?
Independent? Is that why he has a billboard in Times Square?
Wouldn’t surprise me to find Bongino on the list as well.
I speculate that he’s got guard rails from Fox. Thinking podcast > radio show > Fox show as far as creative control. I know for a while he was doing the show in NY but I wonder if he now does it remote from FL like Tucker does his show. Still, his Fox production people are separate from the podcast.
I listen to his podcast all the time, but not the radio show or the Fox show. I was not impressed with his replies to some of SD’s tweets re: Parler.
He’s definitely got guard rails on FNC, regardless of his assertion otherwise.
As for his podcast, I’ve been listening for a few years now: He has a pretty defined standard for what he talks about, even if he never articulates it. Pretty much anything he can back up with written/audio/video evidence he’ll discuss, everything else is speculation is his mind and not worth the time. I think that’s why he doesn’t discuss election fraud much, among other topics that are considered verboten by BigCon. IMHO, his biggest fear is having to retract or revisit something he couldn’t back up in the first place. It’s essentially self-censorship for fear of speculation, and not some control scheme.
My .02
Let’s remember even the ClearChannel monster The Rush Limbaugh show was instructing hosts not to speak of election fraud after the 2020 coup. Steyn did it anyway, essentially daring them to cancel him. Fox had equally banned such talk Steyn said. But hardly any franchise had the juggernaut power of Rush’s show. To the point that the broadcast network couldn’t impose. That’s gone.
And Gorka.
definitely
Even if not he’s terrible at radio
I wrote a similar post and would include Bongino in the BigCon list. His listeners skewered him about Ukraine (he was all in for it when I stopped listening to his podcast) and he ignored them. He finally woke up to the jabs. When the 2022 Midterm election results were coming in he actually said “I have no idea what happened in Nevada” (too cowardly to call it stolen.)
A friend turned me on to Mike Crispi Unafraid’s podcast on Rumble (LFA TV channel). He does not back down to telling the truth.
I would expect bongino to be one of the first one’s to team up with crowder
Very surprised to see Posobeic in the list. He doesn’t seem controlled.
Oh he will be! China
Posobeic speaks freely but his background smacks of Intelligence plant in right-wing media as a gatekeeper of sorts. One of the smarter ones, of course, who maintains a low profile while maintaining his credibility.
Don’t fool yourself – the Intelligence agencies often seed both sides of the political media divide. The ones who keep getting promoted to places like Fox News and NewsMax – watch out.
So glad you mentioned Newsmax. They are FNC lite. Notice how all the TV and Twitter talking heads won’t even utter the name of One America News. They have shunned them completely.
The million dollar donation to the Clinton Foundation may have been a clue. This has been going on a while.
sage advice.
^^^This^^^
POSObiec was outed years ago. He’s part of the Alex Jones, Cernovich crew.
Usually he’s undercover busy gaining followers with banal bs, but he occasionally gets activated for an op.
However, he’s savvy enough to quickly distract his followers when they start catching on and in following him. Plus hes skillful at rapidly repairing his camoflauge
Really? Cernovich & Posobiec are still basically running free on the web; whereas AlexJones was unceremoniously banned from most everywhere more than 4 years ago.
Received a $10 bill in my change just the other day that had been stamped with Alex Jones’ Prison Planet logo on it.
Two more weeks!
I often wondered why he was never kicked off Twitter…hmmm
Everyone has mortgages to pay and families to support. The conservative ecosystem is controlled from the top-down by a handful of wealthy backers and likely Intelligence plants.
What happens is they grab the voices willing to play by their rules and amplify them, attempting to drown out any unapproved wrongthink on the conservative side.
Any voice who becomes popular and poses a threat is either deplatformed or attacked by a consortium of mainstream forces.
How much you wanna bet underneath those small black bars are the letters FNC?
He was with them way back in the day. He talked about never going back to them. So I doubt it was fnc.
He got kicked off for saying something at Fox and was never invited back. Might have been with O’Reilly.
About damn time, Crowder. He was fully arm in arm with Con Inc. for some time. At least he finally woke up and realized were being played into serfdom.
Rush Limbaugh
Rush was an entity of his own. He owed them nothing and he knew it.
They couldn’t control him, but rush was an old school guy.
He was a Reagan guy who followed the deal of don’t speak bad of the party.
Unfortunately at the end of his life he realized the party was rotting by the way they treated Trump.
Rush lead the way for all of this. Without Rush, there would be no Hannity or Beck or Crowder etc ~ period.
What I heard Crowder say is he wants to stay independent. The “Big Con” is no more than the fascist state that Trump has unveiled. Back in the Rush days the deep state never came up to the surface of the swamp. Maybe a few of the Clinton people who died were the outcome. Now we have been blessed to see the actual muck at the bottom of the swamp. How many Trump rallies did the folks call for draining the swamp. The swamp is being drained. It’s not pretty!
Brace yourself ~ it going to get even more shocking. The know the game is up, this is for all the cards.
God is moving.
It sort of reminds me of a dream I had years ago where I fell into a river in a green and stagnant part of it over to the side. There a horrible monster was pulling me down under, but my head was still above water enough to see out toward the center where the water was clear and boats were gliding along on it. I wonder now if it wasn’t in some way prophetic; swamp and all.
As long as Salty Cracker is not compromised, I’m happy.
I love Salty Cracker. I’ve also recently started watching programs on Badlands Media.com.
Anything with Burning Bright is a treat.
Love Salty Cracker! He is definitely one of my most favorite podcasters.
Who or what is Salty Cracker?
Sure would like to see Crowder’s list!
I say, good on him! I signed up on his stopbigcon.com website immediately. Let’s back him and prove that we’re all sick of this phony RINO pablum we’re being force-fdd.
Sadly, you seem to be ignoring the fact that many of those watch, listen, support, and encourage you are NOT Gen X or Gen Z. Not even close. I’m 73, by the grace of God! There are others.
For goodness’ sake, someone somewhere MUST have a copy of Peter Hotez’ interview with Zdogg. It can’t have been scrubbed completely. It is diametrically opposite the utter bs, filth, and hatred that he’s been rather influentially ever since Fauci granted half a billion dollars to him for his lab. I have never seen or heard any mention of it. Please find it and publicize it.
Keep up the good work.
I’m a little confused by your post, but I think what’s cool about CTH is that it has a range of ages that read it. Sometimes the replies have wisdom, and sometimes new insight. I don’t care how old my fellow travelers are.
I think this is the interview you were referring to?
https://zdoggmd.com/peter-hotez/
Zdogg, is that the doctor out of Vegas?
Beat you by 6… 79yo.
FIGHT LIKE HELL
in this sense hell means: VERY MUCH.
and is also an ironic expressions of scorn or disagreement.
“like HELL, I will ever watch or listen to these paid and bought controlled opposition jackwagons”
I like his shirt. I think I will make one with real red paint.
2022 election results come in and the message is “It’s Trumps fault; he is finished”. Letters from BigCon calling for Trump to go away. Yeah. Now you know.
My local Salem outfits(Twin Cities’ NARN) have been pushing the message that Trump lost Georgia in 2020 for years, etc. These people include Powerlineblog, Hot Air(Ed Morrissey), etc. These are good people for the most part following the masters’ orders; and some of them genuinely hateful of Trump which means you and I.
For two years you were threatened with your loss of income if you didn’t heed ‘their’ commands whether it be vaccines or demonetization. This is just the other form of it. Bravo as usual Sundance for sharing this.
Big RIGHT and Big LEFT both despise this guy.
Yet we are constantly told Alex Jones is a kook. He reads, he listens then he talks about what he read and what he heard.
I follow The Gateway Pundit. In 7 years they have been pro Trump. They have extensively exposed the 2020 coup and the Jan 6 scam plus supporting the more than 600 jailed Trump supporters by interviewing them in jail and fundraising for them. They place great value in reporting the truth. They have been slandered and blackbanned and shadow banned.
The other valuable site is Telegram which does not censor. I follow many of the covid19 banned doctors and scientists on there.
Also 2020 mathematicians, and news on Ukraine and Russia from original sources and languages as it has easy and quick translation to English.
Many photos of the war are on there posted by Ukrainian soldiers and are graphic and heartbreaking. but are not censored.
Rebel news and Mark Stein are truthtellers and reliable also.
One thing I like about GP is that they haven’t (so far at least) started hiding the good stuff, or the comments section behind an overpriced paywall.
Nature abhors a vacuum. Sounds to me like the majority of the void left behind by Rush is going to be filled by Crowder, and the big Con guys are trying to find some way to exercise total control over the whole process. Fortunately Crowder will have none of that crap. Ultimately Crowder will be to the video camera what the CTH is to the internet forum for those who seek the unbiased truth about our country and its issues.
Many of the people on that list I once listened to but stopped almost two years ago. I didn’t know anything bad about them, but they became boring. When you don’t self-censor, especially in a video format, you can say some pretty wild things and offend people, but honesty and genuineness come through.
Sometimes it’s good to listen to those who are your enemy.
You will know what there plans are.
I still listen to Mark Levin. Yes, at times he annoys me, but he calls out the creeping Marxism that is slowly strangling the life out of our country. I also like to listen to Stacy Washington. She is always calling out those who are preying on our kids.
Mark Steyn had been in a media thing called CRTV with Levin and Crowder, and came out of it via a law suit with its zillionaire founder Gary Katz. Since then he mentions Levin only when reiterating that Constitution thumping isn’t enough. (It hasn’t prevented the universal corruption we live in and is inadequate on its own because culture is upstream from politics and Western culture is rotted out.). On Gary Katz and billionaire sponsors of conservative media he is blunt that it must be avoided. But Mark Steyn has enough of a brand and ability to stake out his own shingle on the internet and have it work. Sounds like his heart attacks have put a dent in the quantity and type of output he may be able to sustain going forward, including maybe even his epic free speech battle in federal courts with warmish fraud Michael Mann.
This reminds me of how so many existing CONservative Luminaries went full NeverTrump in unison and marched lock step through his Presidency disavowing all things conservative, things they had preached for decades, all because Trump was doing those Conservative things.
People fled their CONtrol. People created new avenues for getting the word out to influence and new business opportunities to gain revenue. But the CONtrollers are asserting their influence over all.
BTW, did anyone notice that the sum of penalties exceeded 100%? The CONS are abusers.
If you listen to Mark steyn he tells you what happened between him and Mark levin, also how they told steyn when he was guest hosting for rush limbaughs show that clear channel media told him not to speak on election fraud.
Steyn doesn’t go on fox because they only wanted him to speak to stupid matters.
Where can we listen to Steyn? I always loved it when he stood in for Rush.
Steynonline.com. Join the Mark Steyn Club to support what he is doing.
steynonline.com
I was wondering what happened to malkin, did levin try and sue her also.
Mark steyn mentioned her one day but didn’t elaborate.
All I know is him and her didn’t see eye to eye.
Thanks for posting!
Hate to say it, I’m younger GenX and had never heard of him… excited to check it out.
That is crazy bad BS on the contracts/big tech…. Things that make you go hmmm, certain things now make more sense.
Good for him to be taking a stand!!
God Bless.
My first thought was surely this can’t be legal; how are they getting away with it? Then I look around and see how lawless our country has become, and I get it. Those we trusted to keep the order have perverted their jobs and forgotten why they’re there. It’s long past time for a shakeout, and I hope Crowder is successful with it. Maybe next somebody brave can go after Hollywood.
I am very happy w/myself that I have turned off Charlie Kirk. After years of listening to Rush it was a habit to tune to the radio daily. Kirk is nothing more than a player like all of them, an unelected arm of government. It is nice being talk radio free, cable free, still working on being internet blog reading free. I have a few YouTubers that I enjoy because they are citizens doing the job the media should be doing.
My Congressman pointed out how so many in the so called conservative media outed themselves during the McCarthy vote. If we can get rid of the MSM, we might get our country back.
BRAVO & Kudos to Chowder. Like Carlin said…”It’s a big F’in CLUB and we ain’t it”. All bed bugs being controlled!
😅 chowder!
Uh…strangely, I have been banned from almost all of the websites mentioned in the Big Con.
Only TGP and this joint haven’t banned me.
Boo.
Post and candace.
I don’t understand why someone as big as Crowder needs to sign with anyone. Build your own website and publish across multiple platforms (Rumble, Foxhole, Theta, Rokfin, etc.). Don’t tie yourself to anyone.
Exactly, there are many high quality, independent personalities who have thousands of followers on alternative platforms like Rumble. If one is good enough, they don’t need a media organization behind them.
This is especially true for someone like Crowder who already has a large fanbase.
Having a media organization behind you is only necessary if you don’t have the skill or patience to build up a fanbase on your own.
He doesn’t, and he said it more than once.
He does not need to sign with anyone. He is trying to build a conservative force of true voices that can speak all the true so everyone understands what is happening. Telling half truths is slowing down our movement. The election is the core of the problem. The election is not discussed by most conservatives. Just my opinion.
That terms sheet – not contract – from The Daily Wire offered him $50 MILLION dollars over 4 years.
And $25 million to renew for 2 additional years.
So this initial ‘terms’ sheet, not contract was just to get the conversation going.
Daily Wire Jeremy Boreing discusses the details of the terms sheet.
But YES, lots of strings attached.
I can see why Jeremy Boering thinks this was a fair way to start the negotiations, but truly it would be living up to a contract with advertisers.
There’s no free lunch in the BigCon content space: DW is a business, and like any business, they’re in it for the money. In Crowder’s case, they were planning on staking a big chunk of their business on his success, hence the terms. Whether they’re fair or not seems to be up to interpretation on both sides. Kudos to DW for coming clean.
The most striking thing here is that the guy is reading in detail parts Steven had no problem with to obfuscate the parts he did. He also stresses over and over how much pay they were offering. The bottom line is they want to own Steven for a large price and Steven is not up for it.
Interesting that we now know it was Daily Wire. This after all large numbers of people assured us that it was NOT Daily wire! Second, who cares if this is an “offer” and not the final contract? This is what the Daily wire wants. How much their willing to settle for is not revelvant. Maybe its really an all or nothing deal. Who knows. Who cares.
Why should I give you points for MAYBE be willing to settle for less than your first demand? Your starting point is what you really want. And you’re going to be happy as a clam if I give it to you. Daily wire wants everything they offered to Crowder in the “terms”.
As someone else wrote, what this really shows is: (1) Daily Wire is an business. Their first goal to make money on their “investment” and (2) They want to control the talent and what they say and do. Pushing “Conservatism” is in 3rd place, if it exists at all.
This is why Daily Wire wants Crowder to do whatever Youtube/facebook/Apple wants him to do. They can’t make $$, if he’s off Youtube and these big Tech platforms. So, if Youtube demands Crowder not say this, or not say that, Daily Wire will back up Youtube and penalize crowder. Daily wire, is in efect, in bed with Youtube. They are the production company, Youtube is the “network”. And with that, you end up with Leftwing youtube controlling conservative Crowder.
What probably upset Crowder, is that not only was Daily Wire not going to fight Youtube for him, they were going to penalize Crowder if youtube decided to ban/demonitze him. It would be dailywire AND youtube vs. Crowder with Crowder paying Dailywire possibly $millions in penalties because Youtube or Facebook went after him.
Just to reiterate, this means Crowder’s show had to please youtube or facebook. If youtube tells Crowder to jump, he says How high? or he’s banned and has to pay Daily Wire possibly $millions.
I’m just past the first 30 minutes of listening. Will finish listening in a bit. So far, I have claustrophobia listening to the terms. I don’t think 50M or 100M would compensate for the authority that DW (or other corps.) would have over me.
I don’t know if Steven Crowder is able to support himself and family and his employees and pay his bills on his own right now.
If he got money-fat working for Blaze, then maybe he could be willing to sell-out to DW or any corp for money. And so Steven would be just sour grapes.
But if he has been frugal maybe he really is concerned about others and warning them to decide to value their product/message and lives enough to remain independent.
I wish the best for Crowder and will sign up to his new site.
Everyone listed is exactly who I would have expected to see on the Big Con list (sad to say). Dan Bongino is another one who fools listeners into thinking he is not part of Big Con, but his views on Ukraine, the jab, and refusal to say out loud the 2020 and 2022 elections were stolen in swing states tells you otherwise. I now listen daily to Mike Crispi Unafraid (LFA TV) on Rumble. Also enjoy In The Litter Box with Jewels and Catturd.
Saw this when Candace Owens turned on Trump. She knows who pays her paycheck from The Daily Wire.
Love Candace !!!!
But unfortunately….you are right.
Yes, I was so disappointed when she did that.
I thought Shapiro fired Candace over the most recent Kanye mess.
I’m glad that Steven Crowder is willing to speak out against Big Con. I haven’t listened to Crowder in a while because I had thought that he was actually part of Big Con. Perhaps, I was wrong or maybe he changed. I’ll have to give him another chance.
I knew that Charlie Kirk and his Turning Point USA were part of Big Con because he supported Gary Rabine for Illinois governor instead of the grassroot Darren Bailey. I had followed Darren Bailey for years and knew he was consistent and walked his grassroot conservative talk.
Rabine deleted a post I left on his campaign’s Facebook page asking him why he only campaigned in the Chicago area and not the rest of the state. I hate censorship and those who censor.
Kirk is a former Illinoisan from the Chicago area and I could tell that his take on Illinois politics was establishment and Chicago centric. I emailed him to ask that he discuss the New Illinois movement to separate Chicago from the rest of the state on his show and he ignored me.
Salem’s hosts outed themselves as being RINO because they refuse to discuss electronic election fraud. They only discuss traditional ballot stuffing and ballot tossing type of election fraud as Dinesh D’Souza did in his 2,000 Mules Documentary.
D’Souza is to Salem as Tucker Carlson is to Fox. He seems to be their personality who is given the longest leash to stray from the establishment narrative and tell the truth.
Mark Levin outed himself as part of Big Con by supporting reverting back to having the state governments choose U.S. senators. I realize that is how the Constitution was originally set up, but I like having the people choose U.S. senators as it gives the people a greater voice.
Having the people elect U.S. senators also makes it more likely for grassroot candidates to become senators.
The state governments would most likely appoint establishment hacks as U.S. senators.
The state governments would choose more establishment U.S. senators like Mitch McConnell and less non-establishment senators like Rand Paul.
Levin also supports having a constitutional convention, which is dangerous as it could turn into a runaway convention where establishment friendly changes to the Constitution could be made.
There are few media personalities and outlets that seem to be legitimately grassroot conservative. The Conservative Treehouse is foremost among them.
I’m a fan of Zak Paine of Red Pill 78 News. His show is independent and consistently grassroot conservative. He’s intelligent and doesn’t get belligerent or sucked into petty personality disputes and drama.
Zak now also has a separate show on Badlands Media. Badlands Media is also a great source of grassroot conservative news.
Zak was banned from Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter for refusing to self-censor, which I greatly respect. He’s on multiple platforms now, of which I prefer Rumble.
Brannon Howse on Frankspeech / LindellTV produces a lot of good content, but he can be a braggart and I hate how he discreetly deletes opposing comments and occasionally bans users on the Frankspeech chat while publicly claiming to be a free speech platform.
As mentioned above, I abhor censorship and I also hate people who hypocritically claim to be for free speech, but really aren’t.
I have to wonder if the owner of Frankspeech / LindellTV, Mike Lindell, knows that Brannon is engaging in censorship on his platform. I remember Lindell saying that he wanted to allow all speech on his platform unless it was obscene or used the Lord’s name in vain. His platform has fallen from that lofty goal.
It appears that these deleted posts and bans occur when a poster strongly, respectfully, and intelligently disagrees with a closely held viewpoint of Brannon or when someone strongly, respectfully, and intelligently disagrees with the official narrative on the Russia / Ukraine War.
Posts have been deleted and users banned from Frankspeech for stating that Putin invaded Ukraine because he knows that Zelensky is a global deep state puppet and that Ukraine is a de facto vassal state of the global deep state and that Putin wanted to change that.
The “people” already have a voice, a representative, in the, ah, House of Representatives. The states -had- their voice, in the Senate. Now the states are readily controlled and steamrolled by an enormous centralized government grown out of control. We’re supposed to be United -States-. Plural. To dismantle the monster centralized state the state legislatures need that power back. Then you’ll have weighty matters to vote for in your state and local elections, power having devolved back closer to the people.
“Things are not what they seem”
(Pink Floyd, “Sheep”)
We are bombarded 24×7 with media designed to manipulate. To herd the masses.
All media is filled with this manipulation. Even media from “uncompromised” sources, which is then used by others serving further manipulation.
And this Information Warfare system is 2-way: Responses to the manipulation are collected by the complete surveillance fusion system, in real-time to near-real-time. Feeding super powerful AI analytics that are part of the IW system.
Monitored responses include more than just expressions – behavior is also monitored and analyzed. (Behavioral analytics)
Ultimately, the tectonic plates slowly moving under our feet are continuing their glacial movement. While everyone is distracted and manipulated with all the noise.
Look forward to the end state of the tectonics. That reveals clues about who is behind all this. (WEF globalists are a prominent element, but they present a front, together they and the US Govt/western alliance/IC are symbiotic with the hegemon executing its 100 year Plan.)
Mug Clubber, reporting in!
what he says makes you want to look at people currently producing content, and ask which ones are on this treadmill…not just the named sites above (crty/the blaze, ect) but others.
I’ve noticed several people who have signed on to rumble are suddenly doing ad reads during livestreams after years of saying they would never do ads like that. then they do livestreams when they are under the weather, when before they would just cancel or make it up when they were feeling better.
so I’m wondering if rumble is part of this as well…
Follow the money
Salem Media nothing but TDS garbage.

Most MAGA influencers are paid Democrats, the stop the Steal guy is a prime example. I also believe these types work with the feds and are social engineers. Everyone likes money. Candace dropped Alex Jones as soon as her Red Pill Black shtick took off. I was watching the first time he had her on, same with Navy Intelligence Officer Jack P.
I do not like Kirk or Shapiro. CPAC Shlapp is about as corrupt as they come and it sounds like he will be embroiled with his own sex scandal if the text messages are any indication. Beck is a total weirdo in my opinion. Levin is, well, Levin.
I like Crowder and think he should go out on his own. He has the talent and could be a refreshing media company.
We have people on our side who think that Q is real, Juan O Sabin is real, aka Wayne Willot, and Con Inc doesn’t lie. Heck, people have no idea who Tucker’s Dad is for gosh sakes.
I hope people get outraged over that contract and understand the importance that most of the stuff he or she watches is a government operation. Fox News was taken to court a few years ago and the lawyers admitted the public should consider FN as entertainment and not liable to have to tell the truth about news journalism.
Fools who want to get on a reality TV show have to sign a contract that affirms a 5 million dollar penalty, up front, for any breach of disclosure about the show. When you watch any of that crap, all of the participants have taken that pledge.
Turns out it was the Daily Wire that Crowder used the contract as an example of the BigCon. The Daily Wire has responded going through the contract in more detail.
I was ready to cancel my DW subscription, but not now after listening to Boering’s response. I am going to sign up for Crowder again also. I’ve seen this kind of thing happen in my business with many fewer ‘zeros’ involved. Crowder doesn’t understand business and/or he has no experience running a business. It took me 12 years to build my company to a point where it had value and I could sell. I wasted the first 7; I had no idea how to get it to that point, nor did I understand how incredibly expensive that is. Crowder is a good guy, obviously, but he just doesn’t know what he doesn’t know.
I see many posts here that pick a side and are quick to shun those who they perceive as unpure. I hate to see that. Nobody is right all the time.
Gold star for your last sentence Gordo. Just too much common sense for too many people.
They were speaking different languages. Crowder was focused on Big Tech’s influence on the contract bid, and Jeremey was focused on the full contract money offer. Their priorities were and still are different. Either they are willing to seek understanding, or they are looking to win. This shouldn’t be about winning against the other though.
Do we want speech directed, controlled and blinkered for business, sacrificed on the altar of business? That’s how we got here.
Great insight into behind the curtain operations. Thank you, Crowder!
Like James O’Keefe he was a discovery of Andrew Breitbart. I first saw him on Big Hollywood. Many that you listed off above were Breitbart alumni and have slid into the dark/gray side. Steven Crowder keeps in his lane. Very few can resist the money.
Right on!
The number of “conservative” websites or news outlets I could trust dwindled down to a mere handful in the wake of the Covid1984 roll-out and especially after the suspiciously weak response to the Crime of the Century. Where are all the other Crowders who should be exposing the corruption instead of playing along with the charade?
The dearth of true whistleblowers has been one of the most ominous Bad Signs during this whole tragic Great Pretending era. May Crowder help reverse the trend in 2023 – time is fast running out.
I like Steven Crowder, but resent the subtle swipe he took at “older conservatives”. We are not the enemy of the conservative movement, we STARTED it.
Older conservatives, if they lived conservatively, have accumulated vested interests of all sorts. Younger ones have little and are on the make, ready to shake things up.
“Brought to you by Pfizer”
As I’ve detailed previously, the ONLY way to get enough people riled up in great enough numbers to demand change is to show them how they and their children are and will continue to be physically damaged by every infection they experience from a virus that never should have existed in the first place as well as by the fraudulently tested injections if they continue to take them.
EVERY other political issue will fail AS THEY ALWAYS have. PERIOD.
I’ve previously said only an economic collapse will do this, but this would, too. The fact that it is being ignored despite the evidence of the truth of it growing daily is a clue to how effective the powers that be believe it would be.

Long COVID stemmed from mild cases of COVID-19 in most people, according to a new multicountry study
https://medicalxpress.com/news/2023-01-covid-stemmed-mild-cases-covid-.html
Even mild COVID-19 cases can have major and long-lasting effects on people’s health. That is one of the key findings from our recent multicountry study on long COVID-19—or long COVID—recently published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
We found that a staggering 90% of people living with long COVID initially experienced only mild illness with COVID-19.

However, STILL a 1 in 22 chance even with omicron. Long COVID = sign of LINGERING DAMAGE.

Risk of long COVID associated with delta versus omicron variants of SARS-CoV-2

Among omicron cases, 2501 (4.5%) of 56,003 people experienced long COVID and, among delta cases, 4469 (10.8%) of 41,361 people experienced long COVID.
I hope Crowder is enormously successful.
Money still talks and for most, it always will.
I quit Faux News over a decade ago. I saw the way the wind was blowing. So it is no surprise that many (most) of the so-called conservative news sites/outlets are taking money over principle. That’s assuming they ever had any principles to start with.
I don’t watch any broadcast news except to listen to the weather each morning to see how often they get it wrong, sometimes by a great deal, sometimes they get accurate 3 hours out.
That’s the whole thing with the Uni-Party (lower half) aka Repubicans/RINO’s. Again, money talks BS walks.
The Treehouse is my first stop in the morning. I hope it holds the line.
I spent just under 30 years working as an auditor and fraud examiner. Both taught me to be skeptical about what people tell men. In the case of business systems both in and out of government they are easily compromised.
Trust but verify. Don’t blindly trust anyone, not yourself, because we are all fallible.
Put your trust in God, spend time learning about his ways, and emulate them as best you can.
We had dwindled down to just the opinion show Tucker, Fox having sabotaged MAGA from the get go.
I used to listen to Dennis Prager, until I actually took the time to listen to Rush (mostly broadcast in the same time period). I expected I would return to Prager after Rush passed away, but Prager’s boss at Salem Radio ordered all his on-air personalities not to discuss the theft of the 2020 election, so I ‘ve never listened to Salem or read Townhall since.
Appearing before corporate audiences, making speeches, is a huge part of the income of conservative radio people, so they do not rock the boat. And the biggest golfers (Tiger, Mikkelson, Greg Norman) actually make more money from endorsements and playing friendly rounds with corporate executives. Follow the money.
Steyn ignored the omerta order on election fraud, openly challenging his pay master to fire him, while hosting Rush’s show. He called out the fact that so many other hosts had caved to big business directives not to speak of it, for example at Fox. Steyn ended up doing his own hour long show on new network GBNews, where the gloves were off and sacred cows were massacred live on air His show crushed everything else in the time slot. His heart attacks knocked out a disruption juggernaut. TBD if he can recover to that level. Convalescing in a hospital in France where he was during the heart attack that nearly killed him.
Matt Taibbi reflected on the Twitter File dump and wrote this 12/24/22 on Substack:
“Sometime in the last decade, many people — I was one — began to feel robbed of their sense of normalcy by something we couldn’t define. Increasingly glued to our phones, we saw that the version of the world that was spat out at us from them seemed distorted. The public’s reactions to various news events seemed off-kilter, being either way too intense, not intense enough, or simply unbelievable. You’d read that seemingly everyone in the world was in agreement that a certain thing was true, except it seemed ridiculous to you, which put you in an awkward place with friends, family, others. Should you say something? Are you the crazy one?”
Bingo.
With Crowder’s revelations, another piece of the puzzle falls in place.
BEN SHAPIRO
Nuff said, Daniel.
This is a fascinating discussion. Explains why so much of BigCon or Con, Inc is so ….. so vanilla and just nibbles around the edges.
I have not seen any comments regarding Bannon/WarRoom. Curious what the opinions on him are and where you see him falling in the big scheme of things.
I have not yet listened to the Crowder clip. But Raheem Kasaam put out a podcast in September of 2021 where he pretty much lambasted Conservative, Inc and really we have heard very little from him ever since.
And Michel savage too
I would guess that OAN stands with Crowder, and it’s the reason why they aren’t allowed on major platforms.
