A few months ago, our 75″ TV went black, but still had sound, about 3 months past the 1 year factory warranty. We couldn’t find any TV repair shop that would touch it. I finally found 1 out of town guy that asked me if I had paid by Credit Card, which I had. He told me to call them, as many CC companies have extended warranties of items bought with their cards. I called, and sure enough, they did. I had to send them my store receipt, and a copy from him of an unrepairable TV because the parts weren’t available.
Within a few days, I received a refund for the full amount, including the taxes, almost $800. He only charged me $40 for the unrepairable TV form that I needed to file. He said the reason no parts were available, was that you have to buy whole mother boards, or other similar large electronic boards that are more expensive than a new TV, rather than a small component of those boards.
This is exactly what this guy is talking about. I’m in CA, so they must have some of those same laws.

I have been ruminating on the SWA debacle….and their tech for shorter plane flights…I know nothing about airlines and how they run (other than when studying HLS, I was “selected” to “participate” in “additional security” ….on SWA…going to Mom’s funeral….and Dad’s after Dad left out 8 weeks later…I hever flew again. SWA was my go to airline due to the lots of available flights….that said….I refuse to fly.
Maybe 20 years ago, I recall, that there were increased or extra fees that the airlines had to pay for each landing and take off….and if I am not mistaken, it also had to do with the length of the flight, shorter flights, lower fees…which is either the how or why, SWA had a multitude of short flights rather than non stop…plus a greater availability of ‘destinations’.
I welcome the insight from those in or near the industry….asking for a friend!
There were some stories on GAB I believe from SWA employees saying the entire glitch is that SWA uses outdated employee scheduling software that went haywire. They were unsure why SWA won’t spend the money since they got big bailouts like the other airlines during KungFlu

Exactly what I heard from a friend of a friend. 1990 computer technology went belly up under the stress of too much re-scheduling demand due to the storm.
FWIW, a caller on the AlexJones show yesterday claimed to work for an un-named airline and said that a LOT of pilots have been deemed unfit to fly because of heart problems that likely came from getting vaxxed. His explanation showed that it was a pilot-availability issue not simply a scheduling problem at Southwest.
And no news media is asking relevant questions like that.

They started out as a regional carrier no frills airline that made the short flights other larger airlines did want to mess with.
A jet plane cannot land in five foot drifts of snow on runways. The smaller, regional airports likely don’t have all the equipment they need to clear runways right away.
It was dishonest for the MSM to show Southwest aircraft parked at a pristine terminal. This was somewhere not in a snow region. Tarmac was bereft of any snow banks.
The very same picture came up on multiple TV channels every time journalists talked about delays and Southwest. Pathetic dishonesty.
The key problem with Southwest’s architecture is that they completely rely upon every flight being completed successfully and on-time. Because crews are aboard those planes. If something actually “goes wrong,” the situation can turn into just so many dominoes. And this is what happened: “complete system failure.” And it is persistent. Basically, a new meaning of: “airline crash.”
Did somebody for whatever reason put a “hit” on Southwest? Did they refuse to go completely “woke”? This sounds like retaliation and perhaps a hack.
For what it is worth, SW Airlines did not mandate the death shots for pilots. Many pilots quit other airlines to go to work for them.
Related? I would think so. Given what we know about systemic corruption, it would not surprise me at all.

I live near Dallas — home base for SWA and AA. I used to fly SWA almost exclusively. They were cheap and great customer service. Customer service is still good, but they now cost way more than AA in most cases for me and fly much fewer places, so I nearly always fly AA these days.
All flying has become incredibly painful, by design I believe.
Does that include all the ‘extra’ fees charged for every bag that allowed the normal airlines to look as cheap as Southwest?

A local supermarket has become a target for Mexican predators. Has anyone ever read the message called “1963 Communist goale for America? If not, it should be read by anyone who really wants to know and understand what is going on in the United States these days. I found a portion of a paper I had tried to save from back in 2015, but don’t have the whole thing….missing page 5 of this particular paper. The whole thing evidently was a speech, and was entered into the Congressional Record on Thursday, January 10, 1963.
Not sure why I kept it, and not sure that I read the whole thing or if the title attracted me…..but If I read it, it didn’t register in my pea brain at the time evidently. I believe you mean deaths shortly after injection which are easier to correlate to the injection vs deaths from long-term effects which are difficult to prove.
Sort of like tons of old men could die from myocarditis yet nobody would say it came from the injection, but once young men started dropping like flies, there was no way to hide those deaths. Even short term effects could be hidden if there are alternative causes that are possible.

Unless you live under a rock you have heard the Supreme Court has agreed to hear a challenge to the lifting of Title 42 restrictions on entry for the purpose of immigration.
Go read the dissent. It is worth the time and not all that long, since its simply a stay and a decision to take cert, the petition for same can be found here.
I am forced to agree with the dissent for one simple reason: The Supreme Court is not the arbiter of political policy, only Constitutionality. At the same time I’m forced to agree with the majority: Biden claims Title 42 is no longer required because there is no longer a pandemic emergency but he has not dropped the Public Health Emergency order and in fact recently extended it.
Therefore it is BIDEN who is trying to have his cake and eat it too, because were he to drop it then all of the EUAs, all of the mandates currently in litigation that issued out of his Executive and all state, local and commercial mandates that rest on that PHE justification instantly expire.
In short you can’t claim there’s a pandemic only when it suits your political and economic purposes, and not when it doesn’t. Either the underlying event still exists or it does not.
Somewhere, somehow, we must force to the forefront the fact that this was always the case all the way back to the summer of 2020 and in fact it was repeatedly used this way — when it suited someone there was an emergency, including censoring opinions, and when there was not there was no emergency.
In other words by their own actions they prove the so-called “emergency” from roughly the first few months onward was a lie.
