Planning ahead, I’m effectively off the grid with enough solar for the house, year-round via back metering in the summer, including about 10K miles for our electric car plus an 85% wood furnace. If they stop back metering then I’ll get batteries and/or change our use patterns. I don’t want to be a slave to random energy cost increases.
If NG goes much higher, deadwood will be a better deal. We have more than enough deadwood within a 500 yd radius, which, unlike CA, we can harvest with permit. I have two years already on site.
Plus very few people have wood-burning furnaces around us. Most of them are heated by NG and the older houses only have fireplaces or older versions where most heat goes up the flue. Great for ambiance, not so much for heating your house.
Look, I know that all the energy stresses above are based upon the false fossil fuel scarcity and demonization of CO2 (the key molecule of all life) all driven by the Satanists out of Davos and their WEF stooges. And I also hope that somehow we can get an honest election system in place to reserve this.
But still, all reading this, I want you and yours to survive what is coming. You are a rare breed, one that needs to survive, and one that needs to live somehow into the Spring.

Went to his presentation in the Tucson area last year. All we did was watch his movie. NO Q&A, etc. The movie content raised questions …..
Found his daughter’s twitter feed and there was a major difference between what we saw in his movie and what she posts online. She seems disturbed.
In his movie he shows a lot of info, but only law enforcement can actually do anything about the crimes. His organization doesn’t really seem to do much….that was my conclusion.
So we chose not to support as it seemed to be more about asking for money than having actual capacity to make a difference.
