Those of us who obey the law are being punished while the illegals are pampered and protected.
They do not acclimate or even try to learn our culture, our way of doing things and our laws.
And our biggest enemy, the US government, is now promoting the protection and the elevation of these illegals.
This is more our problem.
The problem with Islalm in America…Islamists here want sharia law and to rewrite our constitution worse than the libs do. And they do not mix well or shall we say “assimilate” with the gay, lesbian, queer, trans etc lifestyle and its participants.

Yuup, you are correct. The new invaders don’t have to follow any of the rules the legal immigrants are expected to follow. Besides, the invaders don’t really want to be Americans, they just want to have what we have. There are many great “new” Americans, but they all came the legal (hard) way. The new ones just want to take over what has been built here, and don’t want to do it in their country …..much easier to take what someone else has built.
Legal immigration is not always the best, but it does mean they have more invested. If they don’t want to become Americans, they don’t need to invest, and that is what is going on now……no investment. These new invaders just want what we have without working for anything…..just hand it to them already done.

And watch as the campaign proceeds, how RDS doesn’tseem to have the same problem with “throttling” of his posution statements or policy initiatives.
He writes a letter, saying he is calling for a Grand Jury, and its banner headlines.
Its still early in the 2024 campaign, but its obvious one part of their attack on PDJT will be this throttling of his campaigns message.

Back to Holiday retail sales for a moment… I’m a seasonal for UPS running a rural route near New Ulm, Minnesota. This is my second season and let reinforce the conclusion in yesterday’s post by SD… volume is way down.
Last year probably 25 of my 50 or so UPS stops got deliveries 3, 4, or 5 days a week…this season I stop maybe twice a week at a few of those same homes with the same owners but it’s mostly down to once a week or less. Plus, everyone is ordering less… everyone.

We get regular deliveries from UPS, also FedX and USPS. I just wanted to point out that misdeliveries seem to be unusually high this year, including lost, damaged, wrong address, stuff delivered that should have gone elsewhere, stuff that should have been delivered delivered elsewhere. Not sure why. One would think that if volume is down, there would be fewer errors.

I leaned the following after returning miss-delivered mail and mail dropped in the street to our local post office.
It is not just the quality of the drivers …. drivers deliver mail as loaded into their vehicles via the sorting process at the POST OFFICE.
Mail is sorted and loaded into vehicles via an address based GRID system. If the sorting process is OFF by a grid zone … mail is loaded improperly in the trucks and gets sent to the wrong address. The driver s today are not trained to even look at addresses, but to just shove stuff into the mail box. THE DRIVERS have no part in this process for larger postal delivery areas. The quality of employees supporting sorting process has also dropped and this will have a much larger impact on the delivery issues than the drivers.
Our long term of many years regular mail delivery man went from bringing our mail consistently very early in the morning until later … and later … and he finally shook his head in disgust when he told me it was the sorters holding him up. He eventually requested a transfer.
Now I have no idea when to expect our mail and find myself checking the box all day long.

Let me add Amazon. Three deliveries here in the past two weeks that were meant for other people. Two accidentally opened were children’s Christmas gifts. I had to deliver them myself after discovering that there is no way to contact Amazon to tell them that you’ve received someone else’s package! (I’ve also been newly re-aggrieved because people no longer have listed landline phone numbers so you can even call them.)

Amazon truly couldn’t care less about customer service anymore. They’ve “won”. Back before they won, they would give a credit if the delivery didn’t meet Prime delivery times, and at least try to give some compensation/care for bad CS. Now- well, you are truly on our own with them. Ask for a credit now and they laugh.
Amazon was on the track to win anyway, but the COVID debacle absolutely accelerated their victory. But of course none of it was planned…

With no disrespect intended toward you tax2much, I disagree. At UPS most drivers are 20+ years doing the job. The holiday season is a grind and we all just slog through it but we all do care about doing the job right. We don’t want to drive “4 miles” back to someone’s 🏠 to get a misdelivered 📦…it affects our efficiency rating and our personal pride.

Agree. One on my best friends has been with UPS going on 30 years. They have a killer retirement plan and pay MUCH better that Fed Ex and others.
The employees, according to my friend, are very driven to do a good job. Many long time employees. He sometimes can’t get the route’s he wants( over the road semi driver who pulls twin trailers every day) because many guys have more seniority than him, even as long as he has been there

Seriously, I see about one or two mixups/week and it’s usually easy to see what happened. Net result, the correct package gets delivered to the correct address… just one day later.
Our former mail lady would leave packages hanging on the mailbox lid, wide open. She drove like a bat outta he11 as well. The most awkward nerdy kid is now delivering and he will bring packages up a flight of stairs and place by front door, and is extremely nice and courteous driver. So an example of better service in my case. UPS guy is top notch as well, puts a plastic bag over packages if it’s rainy or drizzly and carries up 6 boxes of heavy water to door. Guess I am very lucky!
My UPS driver did the same thing. I prefer UPS to the nasty USPS.
Arminius: Thanks for your report. In Los Angeles, UPS is using private contractors, many of whom seem to be using their own private vehicles to deliver packages. UPS has also rented a lot of vans and trucks on a temporary basis. I have had multiple instances of UPS losing packages and delays are now so common as to be expected.
Quality of UPS, FedEx and the USPS service has gone way down over the past five years or so. I don’t think the problem is all volume related. I think the quality of management and the quality of workers (not you!) has gone down. The long-term UPS and FedEx people used to be totally on the ball. The newer people are a mixed bag.

Congress does not have the STATED authority to “disqualify”. Congress only has the STATED authority to “remove” a disqualification via 2/3 majority vote.
Only a criminal trial conducted OUTSIDE US Congressional purview can establish the “disqualifying” situation or finding of President Trump and/or his associates being insurrectionists and traitors. Hence the Insurrection Charges for 1/6 protestors and Political Prisoners. The DoJ will link President Trump to them as well as use what evidence is found and/or created from the riads on facilities owned by President Trump’s.
There is an indictment and prosecution coming, make no doubt … no matter if chances of success are very low … if for no other reson than to give the RNC an excuse to disqualify President Trump from being able to use RNC in the coming primaries.
Even the Supreme Court cannot go along with this legislated declaration of a crime being committed … unless they go the extra corrupt mile to rationalize a finding based on the “absence” of words saying Congress cannot make this declaration and that congress is legislating an election a general election requirement vs the back drop of President Trump supporting CONVICTED INSURRECTIONISTS.

And reclaim is a very important word in this case because they’ve taken it away. In recent weeks. bombshell reports have confirmed that a sinister group of deep state bureaucrats, Silicon Valley tyrants, left-wing activists, and depraved corporate news media have been conspiring to manipulate and silence the American people.
They have collaborated to suppress vital information on everything from elections to public health. The censorship cartel must be dismantled and destroyed, and it must happen immediately.

The federal government should immediately stop funding all nonprofits and academic programs that support this authoritarian project. If any US university is discovered to have engaged in censorship activities or election interference in the past, such as flagging social media content, for removal of blacklisting, those universities should lose federal research dollars and federal student loan support for a period of five years and maybe more. We should also enact new laws laying out clear criminal penalties for federal bureaucrats who partner with private entities to do an end run around the Constitution and deprive Americans of their First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendment rights. In other words, deprive them of their vote. And once you lose those elections, and once you lose your borders like we have, you no longer have a country.
Furthermore, to confront the problems of major platforms being infiltrated by legions of former deep staters and intelligence officials, there should be a seven year cooling off period before any employee of the FBI, CIA, NSA, DNI, DHS, or DOD is allowed to take a job at a company possessing vast quantities of US user data. Fifth, the time has finally come for Congress to pass a digital Bill of Rights. This should include a right to digital due process. In other words, government officials should need a court order to take down online content, not send information requests such as the FBI was sending to Twitter.
Furthermore, when users of big online platforms have their content or accounts removed, throttled, shadow banned, or otherwise restricted, no matter what name they use, they should have the right to be informed that it’s happening, the right to a specific explanation of the reason why and the right to a timely appeal. In addition, all users over the age of 18 should have the right to opt out of content moderation and curation entirely and receive an unmanipulated stream of information if they so choose. The fight for free speech is a matter of Victory or death for America and for the survival of Western civilization itself. When I am president, this whole rotten system of censorship and information control will be ripped out of the system at large. There won’t be anything left. By restoring free speech, we will begin to reclaim our Democracy and save our nation.

Wow-thanks. Anybody who knows even a minimal amount about that region- and presumably John Kirby should- knows Russia considers Crimea a part of Russia. It’s a whole other level of antagonism toward Russia to make such a statement. What does Kirby hope to accomplish here? Statement like this may end up ensuring Kiev is functionally leveled. But I guess real Ukranians’ lives “don’t matter”…

I just want to say that NOT voting is a vote for democrats. So, if your actions or inactions are contributing to democrat wins, couldn’t you be considered a RINO? Isn’t that your definition of RINO? Any republican that sides with or helps democrats?
We all want perfection in candidates but it is unlikely to happen.

For me, voting for a RINO vs. voting for anyone else or not voting at all (I’m presuming no MAGA candidate in your stated scenerio) is all the same thing.
By my own logic, voting for a RINO *IS* a vote for the “Democrats” (a vote for the Globalists to continue doing business as usual).
Personally, I would probably write-in President Trump’s name (at least, that’s my current plan).
That’s because I really do see no difference in the choices.
So.. consider me a RINO if you like – but I’m not playing the game of “vote for a RINO because it’s better than a Democrat” – because I don’t believe that AT ALL.

I just want to be clear. Voting for a RINO is necessary to control congress. Maybe you think that won’t make any difference but it certainly won’t be worse. Consider the last 2 years and what the communists pushed through. Would it have been half with Republican control, 20%, or 75%, who knows, it is still better than total leftist control. Also, does anybody think a democrat will change their mind if thousands of republicans contact them? Isn’t there one small chance that a republican will change if thousands of republicans contact them? The odds favor having that one little chance. I’m going with the better odds.
I inadvertently left out an important other part of my current position on this – I make exception for any President Trump-endorsed candidates:
I will vote for anyone President Trump endorses, regardless if they are (what I consider to be) a RINO or not (obviously, of those being in my political milieu to vote for or not).
That’s the only exception I have at the moment.
The rest are all the same to me – ending in a difference between the pot boiling at 11 or it boiling at 9. Which, to me, isn’t a difference.

A ruling has been issued in the Kari Lake v Katie Hobbs case allowing for the inspection of Maricopa County ballots with certain provisions.
(One provision is that the order will be vacated if the motion to dismiss the case is granted.)
The hearing on the motion to dismiss is scheduled for Monday the 19th.
If the motion to dismiss is not granted, a two day evidentiary hearing is scheduled for December 21st and 22nd.
