I see much being said today about the Stillwater post…………
Over the years God has step by step been removed from the USA..from government from schools……it has been written that a day will come when God is called evil and evil is good..
anything positive is often under attack ..I am sure some here will soon be calling for my Be Well post to be taken down..
For those that still love God and try to remain positive ..you are not alone ……as for me I STAND WITH STILLWATER AND LOVE OF GOD.

If you purpose to give thanks for all the good in your life you would never find an end. Do you breath, does your heart beat? And then there is the atheist. A mass of perfect cells and will from…..nowhere. You have to laugh when you think about that. I, created myself, in perfection. But, I cannot even keep my bed made, house clean, or create another human.

Perhaps my age is showing, but if I should run across a post I don’t care for, I have no problem with ignoring it. In today’s technology, that means my finger rolls that little wheel thingy atop the mouse thingy and “presto”, I don’t have to read something if I don’t choose to.
Our society has become so thin-skinned that we are offended by just about everything. We have been indoctrinated to believe we must erase whatever offends us: a post, a statue, a book, a person. “Cancel Culture”. More like “Social Cancer Culture”.
Although Sundance is gracious enough to allow us to lounge around the Treehouse, it is, ultimately, HIS Treehouse. He gave us a few rules to help us get along. The amazing admins help police things and take care of business promptly when needed.
This is exactly the type of place We The People need in today’s world. I see the Treehouse as the modern day town square. We should be able to discuss anything here and remain civil to each other while doing so.
And by the way, bjorkdream, I may have to call for your posts to be taken down because they make me want to go outside and watch a sunrise over a lake or go fishing or put up an American Flag in the yard. I’m far too busy to be bothered with any of that trivial stuff.

Athiests and Agnostics object to OTHERS making references to God
Many Atheists, like myself, do not object to religion. We simply lack belief. I’m not anti-religion and I’m not offended by religion or references to God.
As a child,my Mom told me the difference between an Atheist and an Agnostic was that the first didn’t believe in god, and the second just wasn’t sure since they had never seen Him. I’ve seen him work in my personal life, so I’m a believer. Don’t really know how to pray, but I’ve always talked to God in my own way and still do….and I call it praying

Although I don’t read the Stillwater prayer word for word every day, I still appreciate that he is loyal and an anchor here on the Sundance blog just like you are. I was dismayed over the negative comments regarding Stillwater’s prayers. I believe they had to have come from very negative people.
We need those anchors in this awful world of turmoil. I, for one, appreciate Sundance, Stillwater and you as well as many of the regulars. My world would diminish without you.

I do not believe it is the prayers and praises that are in question.
I believe the reminders of all that has transpired, and the identity of those responsible (that so many have known for so long), makes some uncomfortable.
Imho, it is not the repetition of certain “prayers and praises” that some find burdensome, but the repetition of facts that some find “Uncomfortable”.
Anyone who wants to (and I HAVE, on occasion) can post their OWN prayer, to “add variety”.
Stillwater WAS posting daily updates on the border wall project, that were quite extensive, while Granfma cofeve was poting the daily prayer.
When GC left, Stillwater volonteered to “step in ” and take over the prayer.
If any wanted to volonteer THEIR time, to assist, I suspect Stillwater would welcome the assistance.
And, of coarse we have the open thread, where prayer requests are always welcome.

How right you are. I sometimes put mine down here and never even bother to look and see if anyone has even bothered to look at it let along agree with my sometimes snarkey remarks. Hey, I live alone with just my fur friend to talk to, so I really use this to let off a bit of steam at times, and don’t expect a response to my snide remarks…..good bad or indifferent. I just do them as if someone was talking to me right then….and most people can see they are just off handed remarks and I don’t really mean any harm….just my own way of letting off steam.

I haven’t been able to keep up as much as I’d like to lately so I was unaware anyone had issue with Stillwater‘s post. I’m always greeted first thing in the morning with SW posts, reminding me to pray first every day. I can’t imagine any Treeper here would ever take issue with prayer. We need it more than ever! Me and Grant had mutual friends. I keep telling them it was probably the shot and all the travel, not poisoning from Qatar. They are all dismissive of course.
And too boot, my coworker went to Qatar for the first two rounds. His flight back on Monday, the guy in the seat behind him died of a brain aneurism on the flight home. And I told my coworker who has gotten the shot and booster that that’s going to happen to him if he keeps getting the shots. He is finally starting to believe it.
I can understand people wanting the shot because of its supposed effectiveness.
But they have to think that whatever safety profile normal vaccines have there is less of one for these shots due to the speed of development and tests that were done/not done. If you choose to have it then hopefully you’ve weighed all that.
If you have to get it, I guess to travel internationally now? — again, decisions have to be made.

I’m pretty sure I am of “right mind”, and I would certainly not hesitate to travel internationally, should the opportunity arise. For me, to live in fear, and to decline opportunities to live fully – due to fear, is unacceptable. I suppose that’s why we value Freedom so highly.
I think you miss the point of peace’s post. It has to do with vaccine passports and taking the jab to travel internationally, not an irrational fear of travelling internationally.
I love travelling to other countries and have been blessed with visiting 19 so far, but I’m not going to take the jab to do it. I’ll wait until this nonsense goes away.

Too many employers still demand it. What bugs me the most are the elite universities that still require it and are demanding the new booster. My niece was harassed by her supervisor but she held her ground on the religious exemption. She is still a working nurse. There were lots of threats but none of them came to fruition.
My niece was supported by me, but also had a friend in her thirties, a personal trainer, who developed heart issues after the shot. My niece knew she already had beat a Covid infection, and would NOT be persuaded to take any shots!

The shot is not the mark of the beast. Revelation 13 and 14 clearly indicate that the mark of the beast is received with understanding and is considered by God to be a willful act of rebellion against Him. I also believe it may fairly be seen as a precursor, but is NOT the actual mark of the beast. In order to assert that it IS the actual mark of the beast, you have to believe that every Christian who took the shots, regardless of reasons, will (according to Revelation 14:9-10) “…drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.”
I have a dear Christ-follower friend in Minnesota who took the shot so that the family of an elderly friend would allow her to visit the old woman and spend time with her. If the shot itself is the mark, then my friend is subject to the eternal wrath of God. You wanna tell her or should I?
It matters what is done when bits of Scripture are either ignored or taken out of context and mis-applied. The Book of the Revelation must be allowed to speak in its own words and not have either words or assumptions applied in a way that violates any truth of Scripture.
And it is “the Revelation”–it is not “Revelations”. The first verse of the book clearly indicates WHAT/WHO it is a Revelation OF: “The Revelation of Jesus Christ,….”
I have never thought that the “things which must shortly take place” (1:1) could not occur in our lifetime. I have understood since the early 1960s that all of these things could easily take place, very quickly, once things get rolling. Long before there was international/worldwide television transmission, I knew that there would not be any problem for things to be seen around the world in real time, as indicated in Rev. 13:3 as one example. I didn’t know how that would be done, but I believed what the Scripture said. Our Bible instructors in the 1960s explained and taught what Scripture says about a cashless society, so color me not surprised with how things are closing in regarding the freedom to control and keep our own money.
Neither I nor any of my immediate family have taken any of these shots and never will. That’s a no-brainer as far as I’m concerned. I knew in April 2020 that (1) there had not been adequate time to do the research, development, testing and release of a legitimate vaccine and that (2) all levels of government, from local up to national, were far too eager to dig their talons into everyone’s lives. Whether or not they “caused it”, they were far too eager to take advantage of what was happening. It smelled wrong at the very beginning. I never even considered taking any of these shots and neither did immediate family. None of it made any sense to any of us, even before we talked with each other. Our initial conversations were along the lines, “Good grief, did you see what they’re saying NOW??” NO conversation was along the lines, “Oh, dear, I guess I better the shot.” Nope. Didn’t happen.
How many people took the shot simply due to listening to proven liars (Lucifer)? Isn’t the Great Reset all about setting up government as the god to be accepted and worshipped by the masses?
For the ones “forced,” did they set aside their religious concerns for worldly benefits?
I don’t know because only God can judge hearts and decide who accepted the lies of Lucifer instead of remaining strong in God’s guidance. if you live in a State that has closed primaries it may be more prudent to stay registered with a chosen political party until after the primaries if one wants to vote to make sure their preferred candidate wins the primary in order for them to make it to the general election.

Interesting Dutchman…I changed from “r” to “I” right after the mid-term “election”. Live in a very “red” county in PA. Received a call from the “r” committee asking why the switch…gave him an earful. He asked what would it take to come back into the “party”. Gave multiple reasons, including growing a set to buck the RINO system engrained into the politics of the party. I have a couple of computers that run Windows 10 and a newer one running Windows 11 OS. I am sure there are multi millions, if not billions of them around. There is a Microsoft weather app with a current local temperature button, with the local weather that appears in the menu bar or the task bar, along with a “news feed” that Microsofr, Bing. Edge, etc. puts on in the software and updates.
After reading some of that garbage, I turned the news feed off so I don’t have to see it in my face, (and totally deleted it on one laptop) but kept it on one hidden, so I can see what and how the “woke” twist the so called news.
IMO, MSN articles on Windows OS are as bad, if not worse than, (MicroSoft)NBC, CNN, etc , of twisting, spinning, omitting and out & out lying about news and in particular about President Trump, the Covid scam, and The Jab. Never Trump and Coverup central in my book. Some of the worst, twisted “misinformation” I have seen.

I had a conversation with a physician friend…asked what he will do for a living when a large percentage of his patient panel is dead. Silence. The most unfortunate part of all of this is that data is out there for anyone to find it. OneAmerica Insurance reported a 40% increase in deaths in those aged 18-64 in Q 3 and 4 of 2021. Yes, the sustenance matrix now compared to pre-Covid is like a different planet trying to maintain a similar budget. Very austere and quite an effort to maintain. It’s like a job now. Before it was just something to do once in awhile with little care, particularly when factoring in fuel to drive to/from town to shop in person. Breathtaking.
OTOH, I’ve found that austerity has impelled a return to manual labor. Two hands and the wheelbarrow versus firing up the tractor. An axe and hand saw versus the chainsaw. Good exercise in old age versus the labor saving devices of the past. Still have them but they rest now as the challenge is to stretch the fuel as far as possible.

With bakery & restaurant owners in my family (small business owners) this is crushing especially for them. Who knows how many small business owners lost their businesses, homes, families, lives etc etc because of that. We must not ever forget that and justice needs to be served.
That probably explains why my liberal brother told me this week that inflation is BS. He thinks Trump is responsible for everything that is wrong and that Trump and his MAGA friends are hyping inflation which makes the prices go up. SMH.

Grocery prices are scary high.
The week before Thanksgiving I was in the grocery check out and chatting with a lady who had a good sized turkey in her cart.
She said the turkey was actually for her cats.
After calculating the price per ounce of canned cat food vs turkey –the turkey turned out to be the much cheaper option.
So she cooks the turkey and each day puts some of the turkey on top of the dry cat food. The cats are happy and she claims she’s saved a lot of money!
The prices of canned pet food are what’s absurdly high. I help take care of many rescue cats in-transit and we do similar things.
Maybe soon we’ll have another of our ground reports thread to share our inflation survival strategies.
I’m realizing I need to rethink how I approach shopping. It’s not sustainable. I may need to find a completely different way of eating that builds on the food items that are better holding their prices.
One way I’ve been extending the budget is to delay the next grocery run by a day or two. When the pantry is near empty I make do with whatever odd items are still in the pantry –a noodle day or peanut butter on bananas or a can of tuna. (Bugs are out, before anyone suggests.)
If I lived away from civilization I might learn about identifying safe, wild growing plants and forage for veggies. In Crete their longevity in an old think 1950’s study was attributed in part to the wild greens they foraged. Where I live I wouldn’t trust what street runoff or doggie poo would be one the “wild” foraged greens.
People say grow your own food. But a few plants in containers would not really sustain a family or even an individual.
