I think some of these stores don’t really care. I think they want us all stuck in our homes, waiting for our delivery, because we don’t have any means of getting to the store.
Target’s stores have been getting dumpier, and their online site has been getting junkier and harder to use.

We can’t shop locally owned clothing stores anymore, they don’t exist.
I was near a Walmart yesterday, and decided to pick up a few grocery items instead of going to my regular grocery. I was shocked! I tell you. Shocked. Walmart is always less than my grocery except on weekly sale items, but Walmart’s prices have very much increased. A can of Del Monte corn was $1.94 and that is the shrunken can. Other items were more than my grocery. the French and Italian bred that was a $1.00 each was $1.47, and I needed Dawn detergent large size for refills and it was $9.94.
I could foresee a time when I am living on free range eggs and cow milk if we become Venezuela. Unless the starving multitudes steal my chickens and cow.

If Americans need this relief, and many do, Liz should be calling for a full investigation into the racketeering going on in Higher Education. Liz KNOWS this very well.
She also knows that the president does not have the legal authority to cancel anyone’s debt.
The reason she is lying so much about this, is that she has been a major beneficiary of the racketeering going on in Higher Ed, and does not want it exposed.
The proper thing to do when people have been victimized or claim to have been, is for our justice system to investigate the alleged crimes. Then the proper thing to do would be for the racketeers to pay for the crimes, and if anyone who got gouged for a degree has already paid for that degree, they should be reimbursed as well.
Since the government is already involved with our universities, I believe it is proper for the government to have a full accounting of what it actually cost as school to provide an education, and what students were charged.
People who make big money from speaking fees don’t want such an investigation to happen, because it would be found that students could have done quite nicely in getting an education that made them competive in the labor market, without hearing from aging gasbag political has-beens like Hillary Clinton and Colin Powell, or paying the bloated salaries of high-profile politically connected professors like Liz who frequently don’t teach more than a class or to.
This would be a good thing for a true MAGA candidate for president to run on- making our once-proud university system the greatest in the world again.
It was brought low with a lot of help from slimy politicians like Liz.
Or we could just continue bashing anyone who goes to college and has trouble paying off their debt, and make sure people like Liz continue to get votes that should have gone to the MAGA candidate.

President Trump is still the only one capable of re-establishing the beachhead for the people within the halls of power in DC.
He will implement policy and decisions as is possible but his biggest contribution will still remain … shining more sunlight on DC and other lesser levels of government …. to physically demonstrate and activate more of the electorate and more importantly raise up loyalists within the Executive.
It is not going to be some panacea of progress when he regains the Presidency, it is not going to pretty and we are not going to like compromises he has to make to govern … we know this will be another 4 year slog and battle.
As Sundance emphatically states in his dedicated thread … Donald Trump remains the only one at this point in time who will shine the light, awaken more people and cause the havoc needed to counter the weapon of the Corporate Puppet Masters, the Uni-Party.
He has become the embodiment of Clint Eastwood’s character in “the Good, the Bad and the Ugly” as the Good (Eastwood) actually embodied ALL 3-charateristics, in true Sergio Leone fashion.
Suck it up, if you do not like a decision he makes, or a compromise, or what ever he may say at times … he was and will be the guy in the hot seat taking the risks and deserves the latitude of understanding as he maneuvers. Ballot Harvesting
Ballot harvesting is now legal in some states and even in the states where it is illegal it still occurs. I think 2000 Mules pretty well shows that it does occur and the states seem to be generally OK with that it seems.
What is to prevent Democrats or for that matter Republicans to sponsee “ Get Out The Vote” Rock Concert-Bring your ballot and get in free.
My concern is that if we allow mail-in voting and ballot harvesting the Democrats will invent some new schemes to get ballots harvested. They will be much more aggressive and bend or not comply with the rules.
As I recall in 2020 there were about 150M registered voters and 80+74 is 154M according to my high level math. Now how does that occur?
We need to fix this or they will just move to a show of hands to elect officials

Nonexistent/illegal voters are listed in voter databases deliberately. Lindell has created the means to identify and remove these prior to elections so that no ballot can be mailed to them, so they cannot be picked up, completed and mailed. This is the way. Help Lindell with this effort. Please pass it on. Cleanup the voter databases and the Demonic party fraud efforts will fail.

I’ve been watching all of the statewide and federal races in Arizona. The superintendent of public instruction never hit my radar at all until I noticed while watching the other races. Since the race was so close, I was curious to find out how these two candidates compared.
Wow. This race is worth winning.
It is possible that Kari Lake, Abe Hamadeh, and Tom Horne could all three pull out victories. Schweikert is leading in CD-1 by only 3,114 votes. That district is wholly contained within Maricopa County. I don’t know which precincts are involved, but Maricopa County has been sitting on an estimated 6,000 ballots that have been ready for tabulation for more than a day.

There seems to be a common situation going on with voting since 2020, and that is the significant difference between top level candidate and down ballot. This happened significantly in 2020 and it appears to be happening again in 2022. And I say this because of also what happened in Brazil, how Bolsinaro lost but his party ran major sweeps across the country. Robert Barnes who knows his stuff was on The Duran yesterday and explained how the difference between the macro (top level) and micro (down ballot) has never been this big of a gap in our history.
Also, there is some really evil and sinister things happening with senior care facilities and nursing homes with regard to ballot harvesting. A sheriff in Racine, WI blew the whistle on this one from 2020, but this is a huge ballot operation for Democrats in all states. So, all Republicans that are clamoring to get into the ballot harvest game, are you going to sign up for going to nursing homes and looking an 88-year-old veteran in the eye and steal and harvest his ballot? Democrats do not have a problem doing that……..

This is the law we need:
Anyone in or upon going into a nursing home or hospital/rehab facility for a period of time that is anticipated to extend beyond the election day personally must request an absentee ballot. That request must include the exact name and address of another individual who is designated on a witnessed and notarized formally executed document to collect the voter’s ballot and deliver it (along with showing that individual’s own ID) -in person- to a polling place. The law must provide that this designated person may only be an individual who is a family member or if a non-family member then someone who already otherwise formally was the voter’s plenary attorney in fact or health care surrogate prior to the voter entering the health care facility.

There’s already quite a collection of statutes in the ‘elder abuse’ area, and some of them include fraud. It varies by location but elder abuse is a felony in some locations. I was advised of this by my lawyer when I was caregiving in California. They take it seriously.
What is needed is law enforcement actively prosecuting suspected elder abuse. As long as the Communists benefit from their operatives in law enforcement facilitating such abuse, such abuse will continue.

I’m not interested in another law about “elder abuse”.
We need a law that will prevent ballot collection and also obviate the “need” for mailing of ballots from people who are in nursing homes and medical facilities.
This is NOT a law about elder abuse but a way to stop ballot collection/harvesting while addressing the complaints that “it’s unfair they can’t get to the polling place”.

Have a voter ID chip implanted into a picture ID such as a driver’s license. This chip would be readable by a smart phone, which would then present a ballot for the voter to fill out and send. Computers would then confirm the voter as registered and valid and has not already voted, and tabulate the votes. This system should be federally mandated for elections to federal office.

That would mean a federal mandate for people to have “smart phones”, which I and a lot of other people do not have.

At risk of me doing the speaking up…..and removing all doubt thing, I wanted to get some Treepers opinion on the following:
I recently saw MTG explain how we had to get behind McCarthy to avoid having Liz Cheney elected to the Speaker of the House (on War Room).
She is smart so I’m sure she has some sound logic on her side (slim majority, Trump supported, etc.).
If this is in fact the case, why can’t the following compromise be made for us to go along with McCarthy:
1st: The Reps acknowledge in advance that they work for the people and not vice versa.
2nd: Get rid of the secret vote crap for leadership.
Have a vote 1st that includes options such as Gates, Jordan or MTG for Speaker of the House. Let us see who voted against Gates or MTG or Jordan for Speaker before we go along with approving of McCarthy.
Because again, the Reps work for us!
I think the only honest reason why they won’t let us know how the votes stack up is because votes against Jordan, Gates or MTG would put them in line to be targets for getting primaried.
Why shouldn’t this be the way this goes down?

Last night before Trump’s announcement she explained that the Dems are actually trying to get some “weak Republicans” to come to their side to vote for a Dem Speaker. And we know we have some weak Republicans. To avoid problems, the Speaker is going to need to be someone who has widespread support, like it or not. Some of the people WE would like to see become Speaker do not have that support and it puts us at risk of mayhem.
I hope everyone understands that the Speaker isn’t necessarily someone from the majority party. The entire House votes for the Speaker. It’s most likely that the Speaker will be someone from the majority party though because they have more votes. But if the GOP is just at the majority, 218, that makes it easier for the Dems to persuade the weak Republicans to vote for their pick.
Just to add, the person who is voted in as Speaker of the House doesn’t even have to be a member of Congress; hence the threat to install the already-voted-out Liz Cheney.
They know we despise her and want to be rid of her, so the threat has real animus.
Also, the vote taken in January, the real thing, is not secret.
But I don’t think the vote in January will tell us how many would have voted for/against Jordan, MTG, or Gaetz.
Which in the long run seems to be the information that we really need in order to plan our way forward.
That might work if the designated Would-Be Spoiler isn’t an automatic career ender like Cheney for the designated 2-3 traitor Repubs.
I’d say that the Dims would be smarter to pick someone who is actually a Dim but flies under the RINO radar well instead of being a dumpster fire like Cheney…

Let me state right off the bat, what is called ADHD now and what used to be called “hyperactive” IS a real condition. Some kids really do benefit from medication as well.
However, I know for fact there are people who were diagnosed for this condition (and the criteria is way too broad) who have later discovered they had some other problem, but certainly not ADHD.

Has there ever been a study to find out if the children born these days with varying degrees in the autism spectrum had parents who were put on the ADHD meds during the time they (the autism child’s parents) were in elementary and/or junior high school ages?
Asking because I know of two very autistic children who’s fathers were put on those ADHD medicines when they were in 6th, and 7th grades and they were really just young boys with tons of little boy energy and their teachers didn’t like that, and now their children have severe autism, needing to live in separate supervised homes created just for autistic children.

Michael Callahan, the Department of Defense’s virus intelligence expert in Wuhan, was key to the initial panic and ventilator guidance that killed thousands of Covid patients in spring 2020.

That same day, terrifying videos began filling up social media feeds all over the world, showing Wuhan residents spontaneously collapsing and dying, their bodies piled high in the streets, and doctors forced to make apocalyptic decisions like having to weld residents into their homes or even shoot them as they tried to escape—both for their own good and, more so, for the good of the world.
All of these videos were later revealed to be fake, and nothing remotely like what they showed occurred anywhere else in the world. But people didn’t realize that at the time, and the videos went a long way to shaping the world’s initial terror of Covid.
Despite the fact that these videos were all fake, what Callahan reported about what he saw in Wuhan was remarkably similar to what took place in the videos.
Based on his experience in Wuhan, Callahan then advised the White House on the procurement of new ventilators, as Borrell writes, “offering up his medical expertise on purchases for the stockpile.”
Callahan supposedly treated hundreds of patients while he was in Wuhan, apparently without realizing that ventilators were killing them. By contrast, some doctors including Cameron Kyle-Sidell, a young doctor in New York City, began noticing the harm ventilators were causing soon after they began treating Covid patients in March 2020.

I remember a Chinese doctor interviewed early on, a video that quickly disappeared off of Youtube, probably as close to a whistleblower as there is in China, and him dying shortly thereafter, purportedly from the virus.
Back then I had yet to begin downloading anything that popped up on Covid, not realizing that big brother would begin deleting stuff. It didn’t take long to change that.
Never underestimate the amount of chicanery humans in government will perpetrate. Thank goodness for CTH and the sage wisdom shared here. However, having the knowledge is quite separate from acting on it. The latter takes a conscious choice.

The rush for mechanical ventilators that killed so many thousands of Covid patients in the early months has thus far been something of a mystery. In early March 2020, the World Health Organization issued provider guidance to healthcare workers based entirely on the “Chinese expert consensus” to use ventilators as the “first choice” for Covid patients. Rubber stamping this guidance was one of the WHO’s many atrocities during the response to Covid, and it goes a long way to explaining why ventilators were so widely used all over the world.
But as Jeffrey Tucker has rightly noted, there had to have been other sources aside from the WHO recommending ventilators for there to have been such a mad rush to procure them within the White House and at the federal and state levels more generally.
Callahan’s advocacy for ventilators based on his experience in Wuhan goes a long way to answering where that initial rush for ventilators came from. In Callahan’s defense, he says that Jared Kushner’s procurement of hundreds of thousands of ventilators had actually been inspired by “models coming from the academic world,” independent of his own input, indicating that other modes of influence had been pushing for ventilators as well.

The guy who composed the twit on which that blog post is based made a serious analytical error that wrecked his conclusion. The guy on twit did not recognize that early in-person votes and ballots by mail are grouped together by the states under early voting.
In-person voting, whether on election day or in the early voting period, are in-person votes and equally safe. Mail-in voting is the problem and the devil’s workshop.
In the county where I live, only about 1/3 of the votes are cast on election day. The rest are deemed to have been cast early. When you break out what the state reports as “early”, you will find that there were 14,037 ballots cast in person during the early period and 566 votes by mail. This was the experience in the top of the ticket race for congressman.
Don’t worry about early voting as a general term. Worry bigly about ballots by mail.
