Today we had an American guest on Sky News Australia, named Hinderaker (or something like that).
He assures us that the Trump supporters in the GOP are only a very small minority. He wants DeSantis in.
Except that last time I saw the poll numbers, Trump was around 70% for the GOP primary and DeSantis was a very distant second.
I’m so sick of our commentators being either so removed from reality – or otherwise intentionally trying to distort reality.
If it was John Hinderaker, he is an attorney who writes for powerlineblog dot com. IMO and experience powerline is hit or miss-they can have insightful article but more often than not have real duds.
All the con, inc pundits are scrambling for face time during this dog pile. It’s very plain to see that it was the organizational Republican Party both national and individual state that allowed this redux of 2020 to occur. That will only be fixed by the residents of those respective states.

I have to wonder how much Candice Owens gets every time she is on FOX. Even Varney came out anti-Trump Wednesday.
They are all following the script. My stepson, a former Trump supporter, told me yesterday that Trump needs to step back and that he will not vote for him again. I’ve heard that from several people.

My personal opinion is that President Trump represents the majority of American citizens, however, the bought and paid for media, pundits, politicians, etc., would sacrifice Americans and our freedoms trying to prevent President Trump from getting back into the presidency.
He did a lot of damage to their cash cow’s the first time in, and now he knows more about who is friend and who is foe since their masks have come off. I live at the FL/GA line on the FL side. We go to Georgia quite often to various restaurants and stores. On Friday we took our grandkids to Georgia and within about 20 to 30 minutes we got text messages from Warnock. Touting Warnock for senate run off and asking for donations.
We have no way of knowing, but it appears we were geo-targeted? I know two people that recently moved to SE Georgia from PA back in July. They were at my house yesterday. One of them said they have been getting spammed by Warnock all of the sudden too.
I know this is anecdotal, but it looks to me like the dems are all in for Warnock, using any and everything. They appear to have brought in the big guns, the best they have and are laser focused on Georgia. The Republicans are trying to organize and sniping at each other. I’m not hopeful.
I should add, we crossed into Georgia during the campaign and early voting period, never got any campaign text messages. The people from PA, same. Only the past couple of days.
Years ago, when I picked up a new phone, I received a text spam from a pharmacy. I’ve changed the name and paraphrase for brevity.
“Hi Lebron, your prescription is ready.” A follow up and it ended. I knew my phone was new, it didn’t bother me.
Maybe a year later. “Hi Lebron, pharmacy has some deals.”
Over the years, I would get them and laugh. Somebody is buying inactive spam lists and being told they’re active. A con job.
During the 2016 election, I started getting election spam from Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Lousiana, and Texas.

2018, “Hi Lebron/black/vote”.
Then I started getting NAACP spam telling “Lebron” the end of the world was going to happen if “Lebron” didn’t donate to their legal fund.

Herschel already won along with Brian Kemp. THEY WON TOGETHER. They will not allow Hershel to officially win under any circumstance. Kari Lake needs 56% of the remaining ballots to win. Her people express confidence, but I sure wish we knew which precincts those remaining ballots are coming from so we could confirm what they are saying.
Regardless of what one thinks of Trump and his influence, it’s pretty clear that the GOPe-especially McConnell, McCarthy, and McDaniel (Romney)-threw the election to try to dump Trump and his candidates. They didn’t spend money in competitive races, they hyped a red wave (when they probably had internal polls saying otherwise), and they had all of the conservative media ready on cue to put out the message that the GOP needs to dump Trump. Trump lashed out at DeSantis and Youngkin because he knows what the GOPe is up to.
Interestingly, Tucker Carlson is the main holdout among notable media figures when it comes to dumping Trump. He hasn’t expressed that message (that I have seen). What makes me wonder about him, though, is that he was hyping the red wave big time, saying things like this or that candidate was certain to win next week. Surely he knew what was happening behind the scenes. And recall that when covid hit, he went to Trump personally and pushed lockdowns. He later changed course and is now against the lockdowns and vax, but his contradictory actions make me wonder what his game is. Maybe he has to please his masters some of the time but other times can do as he wishes.
It’s depressing to think that so many people want this authoritarian oligarchy the U.S. has turned into. People are willingly voting for their own destruction.
To add to the throwing the election point, I read some people who live in Joe Kent’s district saying they never saw any ads for him; all they saw was his opponent saying she was a small business owner and second amendment supporter. Similar to my congressional district-very competitive district for GOP but I saw no ads for the GOP candidate. I didn’t even know who it was until I researched it, and I follow political news fairly closely.
That maybe on the ads but he went door to door, town hall to town hall for outreach, personally. The Conservative base knew who he was. I suspect fraud. 3 days ago he was predicted to win and they slow walked the counts to make up the gaps, its obvious.
The Dems won elections through ballot management. Speeches, ads, debates, quality of candidate(dead guy won in PA.) had nothing to do with it. Guy died in Oct, Fetterman stroke occurred early in his campaign. Didn’t matter, Dem ground game collected the ballots, with poor chain of custody, and lax authentication looks like winning was easy.

Have to break up the big city, central counting locations and have precinct, micro counting only. But the Uniparty will never allow this. Our elections are selections. Voters are nonessentials.

Perhaps what Republicans should do is ask people to request a ballot, collect them where allowed and turn them in with a full count, verifying signatures before they are delivered.
I read something that said 200k ballots are left and she’s about 32k down so I believe she’s going need closer to 58-59%. I just don’t see it happening. I’m floored that they are so brazen to keep counting until they get the desired results. But why change if you have no resistance.
It’s beyond brazen. With no deterrent to cheating, why would they ever stop? In fact, why even even bother to hide it? Before you know it, election officials and “winning” candidates will be high-fiving each other and openly bragging about it in public.
I must have been looking at numbers before the latest update. I just saw the 32k difference. And of the districts remaining, about 41% were GOP blowouts in past elections and about half were districts in which dems had big leads in prior elections. The remaining 9-10% were close in prior elections. I don’t see the 58-59% happening. This is terrible. I really thought she’d win. Ballot harvesting has to be stopped.
Also it is reported that the votes put into box 3 we’re mingled with votes already counted and will not be counted.

I think it’s pretty clear if we don’t want to just give up or play the wait and hope game, we have to be more organized and actually take action. Myself included. We need to analyze counties/precincts/ candidates and know ahead of time where we need to focus attention. Then we need actual boots on the ground collecting and harvesting ballots and putting a game plan into action. I think we have enough smart dedicated people on our side, we just have a leadership more than likely selling us short because they detest us and don’t want our chosen candidates to succeed. It’s going be up to us. Bottom line, we have to start becoming active in our own ballot harvesting and “get out the vote” measures. There’s 50% of people not voting, lots to pick up.
I’m not willing to give up either. However, there’s one thing that will never change: fake ballots will always be easier to obtain than genuine ballots from live, human beings. There’s an endless supply of the former, not the latter.
So if they can make fake ballots why can’t we?

The Republican Party is a private club, but a lot can be done at the county level. Some counties have gone to paper ballots. Decisions about purchasing voting machines are made at the county level.
It is time to find and get to know your County Chair. You may find that the County Executive Committee is dominated by RINO influence, yet there are probably a lot of vacancies of the Precinct Chairs.
A majority of MAGA Precinct Chairs are the very mechanism needed to stop the vote fraud.

taking over the county party does not allow you to make any kind of policy at all! I’m on our executive committee and this year we finally after 2 years took wide MAGA majority control and elected, with a strong margin, a MAGA chairwoman.
it’s great and we strongly control the county party now but we have no say in things like you are talking about! That’s for elected officials. Now, we are a deep red county and so yes, our Republicans getting elected are now almost all America First but, and this is a big but, county council legislators aren’t executives, they can’t just make major changes like that on a whim.
I suppose, though, perhaps over a few years we may be able to move the needle.
in short, it is beneficial to take over your county GOP but so far I haven’t seen that directly translate to any type of power on policy and law. I’m in SC, and our county (one of the more populous and prosperous ) and another fairly populated and prosperous one (both counties upstate, mine by Charlotte , the other Greenville) are hard America first. However the RINO/ Graham controlled state party apparatus just treats any MAGA county party as a nuisance as soon as we take them over and Charleston Republicans who are not MAGA still set the agendas and make a lot of threats to your county party. When they show up, it’s never to help us locally, it’s always just to push for more Tim Scott, Lyndsey support.

Joe you are spot on my friend. Most Republican politicians have no balls and are weak and pathetic. It literally seems the only person who fights for us is Trump and as we see he is one man and can only do so much. I just don’t get it. My understanding is that the Federal Law requires that voters for Federal Elections must:
1.Be a U.S. Citizen
2.Be 18 years of age or older
3.Vote in the precinct where you live or registered
The states manage their elections, but must meet Federal Law when voting for Federal Officials. Is there no oversight if states do not follow the law. And would not other states have standing to sue other states if the do not follow the Federal Law. Example-If one state allowed non-citizens to vote. That could change the balance of power in Washington.
This whole focus on just getting the most ballots in vs getting the most votes in would, to me, be I giant red legal flag.
But since the Rule Of Law is eroding in our country, Nobody Cares!

Retired Magistrate here: Some states are not paying attention to the federal law and doing what they please. Since no one is going to enforce it we have the current mess. Ohio just passed a state constitutional amendment which mimics the federal requirement and it passed by 70%. So now Ohio can enforce its own constitutional amendment.
Other states should follow suit if they have not already done so. Also, the Secretary of State position is very important because it is the State Secretary of State who makes sure the voting laws are followed. In our state each county board of elections is responsible for choosing the method of voting and then it is up to the State Secretary of State to approve it.
In Ohio Board of Election members are appointed by the Ohio Secretary of State; two from each party. So, you can see how important the Secretary of State position is.
I believe you are going to see more instances of the red states banding together through Attorney Generals and Secretary of States to fight the federal government. We might even see trade agreements between red states (maybe there already are, I don’t know). We really don’t have a United States of America anymore; we have a divided States of America: Red vs. Blue.

A Covention of the States is not a legislature. It can only propose amendments that must be ratified by 38 states to pass. That means 13 states can block any amendment proposed by it. It’s the work around an intransigent and corrupt congress.
Our founders put this Article V Conention of the states in the Constitution because they presumed the day would arrive where the federal government became corrupt and would need to be changed, but those corrupt and in power would never bend to the will of the people, nor propose amendments that would limit their tyranny.
We are there. This may be the last chance to save the republic. Doing nothing is what will shred the constitution once and for all.
The state legislatures (governors have no authority in the convention and amendment process) and local governments must be the prime targets for MAGA.

In 2015, JEB! looked like the probable winner of the GOP primaries. There were no truly conservative candidates that had any chance of winning.
Then Donald Trump came down an escalator. It took awhile for him to discover the scale of conservative anger and discontent. When he did, a glorious alliance began.
First, Trump whupped the GOP establishment big time to win the nomination. Then, he whupped the Democrat establishment to become President.
WE HAD A PRESIDENT WHO OWED NOTHING TO ESTABLISHMENT DEEP STATERS AND POLITICIANS!!!
I can’t think of any other time this has happened in American history.
The alliance of real conservatives and President Trump still stands. We have been uniquely gifted with a leader who fights our corner.
