I couldn’t watch the video, but read every word put down here, and if it was at all possible, someone should make sure that all young people see her video….. Every young person has doubts, but none of them can be “cured” by surgery. Hey, I’m just an old lady, and I’m not sure I ever wanted to be this old, let alone called a lady. So even us old folks are not always happy about the way things are. Children need to know that it is OK to not like how things are for themselves….to question how things are etc.

What is being missed here is that communists want to purge useless people. My ex, the mother of my 2 youngest children, was a registered nurse. It seemed for maybe a whole year, at least, her primary reason for living was to get my 2 youngest ones on a prescription for Ritalin. She was an extremely intelligent, quick witted, attractive woman who knew the right doctors.
When my kids spent the summers with me, my gracious ex gave me the option of keeping them on this drug regimen or withholding the Ritalin. I gave her back all the unused pills at the end of the summer.
WHO … more than a babysitter … would like nothing better than to babysit 2 comatose kids? My babysitter thought they were 2 normal active kids and was appalled that anyone would want to drug them into submission.
My ex had a legal prescription from a board certified physician so all my arguments fell on deaf ears. These 2 children have grown into adulthood bitterly resenting that they ever took these medications. My youngest son ended up to be about 5 ft 8 in tall so he wonders about Ritalin’s reputation for stunting children’s growth. My youngest daughter developed nervous tics that only disappeared when she went off Ritalin for a time.
Both kids had problems with substance abuse and were at odds with the the criminal justice system.
My ex, who couldn’t stand raising children, would never let me raise them. Her scheme was to keep primary custody and the attendant child support but not actually have to be around them. Between her parents and myself, she was a wiz at only having to actually be in proximity to them when they were sleeping. The rest of the day they were at school or with someone else.

Those particular drugs are the devil. I’d say 75 percent of the men under 50 years old that I interview in substance abuse counseling had a stimulant prescription for ADD/ADHD as children/young adults. Only female counselors interview females so I can’t speak to their numbers.

But there have been over 100 studies on ADHD stimulant meds (long and short term) evaluating the potential negative effects on height. The negative effect on height for those impacted, which isn’t everyone, is a whopping 1-3cm total. This small amount is due to the tendency to suppress appetite in some patients. Frankly, I would worry more about possible cognitive risks.

1 – 3 cm might not be trivial to many young men. I am 5 ft 7 inches so height was an issue and another source of insecurity for my son who was already living through the breakup of his family.

First, these athletes do not speak up or walk out because they likely were admitted to these colleges on athletic scholarships. Without the scholarships, some cannot cut it either financially or academically, and even those who can may have bypassed other opportunities because of the scholarship. This has nothing to do with “internships” and is a huge hit for an 18- or 19-year old.
And I’m not into “courtesy” regarding pronouns. I’m old enough that I have difficulty sometimes remembering people’s actual names when meeting more than a few at the same time. I cannot deal with the nonsense of remembering — when subsequently referring to them in the third person to someone else in their presence (how often does that happen — almost never) what “their pronouns” are.

I have noticed that those students returning to face-to-face classes after the covid lock downs are not doing very well on average. Some students taking my Calculus 2 class do not have even a basic understanding of concepts from Calculus 1. Online learning was not a sterling success -a lost year – too many distractions , too easy to coast ( skip assignments /share answers etc .) I think you had to be a self starter to get the most out of it and for many ,which no one really wants to admit , it was just an easy out. Especially true for older students – JHS , HS and College , where parents generally weren’t as involved , as was more the case with parents supervising their primary grade students . Just my observation .

That settles it. Trump will be standing by Herschel Walker even after his son Christian, a prominent DeSantis supporter, publicly turned against him.
Team DeSantis should take this as a warning. If they try to sabotage Walker now, Trump may just retaliate by attacking DeSantis BEFORE the election, which would all but ensure he is a one-term governor.
Trump and Herschel’s friendship goes way back for decades. I am sure Trump knows what or whom is behind this.

Herschel Walker’s son Christian, who previously made waves by suggesting that Ron DeSantis run in 2024, has publicly turned against his father.
In a series of tweets, Christian accused his father of being a serial philanderer who was physically abusive to his family, and stated that he knew that all his “dirty laundry” would come out sooner or later once he decided to run for office against his family’s advice.
Christian also said that he is “done” defending his father against all the attacks on him.

Given that Christian once supported his father’s campaign, I don’t know what to make of it.
I wouldn’t rule out the possibility that he’s telling the truth, but even if he is his support for DeSantis makes me question his motives for doing so.
If more prominent DeSantis supporters start coming out against Herschel now, we’ll know which team they’re playing for.
