“Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know
His voice, who ruled them while He dwelt below.”
A simple but beautiful version of “Be still my soul” by Katie Petersen:
Thanks
Sundance relentlessly pursues truth. In some of the dark times when it feels that so much is lost, he reminds us of what is still good and right. CTH continues to be a daily read for me.
Thanks to Sundance for the hours of research and digging to ensure we receive unbiased truth.

How blessed the MAGA movement in this country is to have Sundance. We have many voices that claim to speak for us, to teach us and to lead us, but only a handful actually do. Among those few, is Sundance, a true wise patriot and benefactor of our movement. May God send His angels to surround and protect you, and may His mother and Saint Joseph keep you in their prayers and care. God bless you, sir.
Amen sir.. God bless our wonderful Sundance and wonderful staff..
I’m unable to view the post.
Is this the case for anyone else?
Thanks
If you could not view it on CTH, did you try the “Watch on Youtube” link?
No link appearing for me, thanks. Just Menagerie’s text.
Or search on Youtube for “Carrie Underwood How Great Thou Art”
Thanks, no I didn’t as I did not know about the link. The only thing that is appearing for me is this:
“For Sundance, who never fails to give thanks, in all circumstances. He has posted versions of this many times.”
I’ll search for it, thanks
One of my favorites too. Thanks for posting it.
My favorite version is the a cappella version by Home Free. It’s on YouTube, if you are interested.

He’s got you………….in the palm of His hands.
As for the rest of us Treepers? Well, you can count on us. We’re praying for y’all.

How great thou art, indeed! Amen!
the prophet Haggai; “For thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts.” (Haggai 2:6-7) And again the LORD says; “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain” (Hebrews 12:26-27).
I don’t realize how much I rely on Sundance until a hurricane comes… and then there are others who REALLY rely on him!
May God Bless bountifully ALL of Sundance’s efforts! Thank you Lord!

Lyrics
Oh Lord, my God
When I, in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
And when I think that God, His Son not sparing
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing
He bled and died to take away my sin
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration
And then proclaim, my God, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
How great Thou art, how great Thou art

Sundance –
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and
until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
As an old Irishman, this Irish prayer works well with the great rendition of “How Great Thou Art”. Please you, Sundance, and all the Treepers.
“Bless you”. It’s late and has been a very long day.
Psalm 8
King James Version
8 O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
9 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
And “What if the trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise?” Blessings. All are in my prayers. For all victims of Ian…
Love this song. It tells how one person — Laura Story — spoke of God’s goodness while she and her husband, Martin, dealt with Martin’s brain tumor.
What if God’s blessings come through raindrops?
I pray that all those whose homes and lives were overwhelmed with raindrops this week see God’s goodness come shining through.
How beautiful! Thank you, Texas, for sharing this amazingly beautiful song with such wise and wonderful words. I will be playing this one often.
Wonderful; thank you posting this.
Simply beautiful….Thank you !!

Thank you for posting this thread, Menagerie.
For Sundance and his colleagues’ unending mission to relieve people of hurt tonight, please accept this Divine version of ‘The Song of the Volga Boatmen’.
While somber, it is a hauntingly beautiful, exceptional vocal display of a team performing an impossible task…and this men’s chorus is one of the best I have ever heard. Garrison and I exchanged this one night. It needs reposting tonight.
“Yo, heave ho!
Yo, heave ho!
Once more, once again, still once more…
As we walk along the shore,
To the sun, we sing our song.
Ay-da, da, ay-da!
Ay-da, da, ay-da!
To the sun, we sing our song.”
Bless all of you first responders…Heaven sent.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage;do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

My family members… those are the ONLY people who I care more about than the guy who goes by the name Sundance.
The Planets by Horst- Jupiter – God Beyond All Praising
Hymn sung at Princess Diana’s wedding, funeral, and Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. Of Inspiration!
Two Versions:
O God beyond all praising,
we worship you today
and sing the love amazing
that songs can not repay,
for we can only wonder
at every gift you send,
at blessings without number
and mercies without end.
We lift our hearts before you
and wait up on your word;
we honour and adore you,
our great and mighty Lord.
Then hear, O gracious Saviour;
accept the love we bring,
that we who know your favour
may serve you as our king,
and whether our tomorrows
be filled with good or ill,
we’ll triumph through our sorrows
and rise to bless you still:
to marvel at your beauty
and glory in your ways,
and make a joyful duty
our sacrifice of praise.
your music posts are are OUTSTANDING!!!!!
Awwww!! TY, Kitty!!! All heartfelt! So are your heartfelt ears!!!! TY!
❤️
Thanks Sundance & Team.
Prayers up for my friend. Thank you, Menagerie
There is no where else that we can turn toward to calm our spirits when events that we cannot control reshape out life. It is these trials and how we meet them that shape who we are. I have some touchstones, besides my family, that I reach out for to pull myself back and assess where I am, and where I need to go next. This takes a lot of re-evaluation of what is really important, and what is not. I have three songs I would like to share with you, dear friend Sundance, for all those times you have made me step back and begin that reassessment.
The first is a piece that I use to remind me what I need to do first:
(2324) Slow Down – Sissel (2019 Pioneer Concert with The Tabernacle Choir) – YouTube
Once I have recognize where I need to keep my focus, I turn to this piece to reaffirm my commitment to a plan:
(2324) Corrinne May – Be Thou My Vision (Official Video) – YouTube
From there, I can begin to establish and rebuild the means as to how I will regain my course and get back on track to achieve what this great piece acknowledges is out there:
(2324) Peace Like a River (2012) | The Tabernacle Choir – YouTube
Sundance, you are going to face some real challenges in the time ahead, and I want to assure you that as long as you keep your family and your mindset in the right focus, there is nothing that can rob you of that true peace. A peace that only God can bring to our lives! You have a lot of voices from your work on the Treehouse so far who are making the case to God to rebuild.
May God richly and fully bless you and your family in the days ahead! And thank you for giving so much to all of us who are joined with you in seeking out the Truth. It is the only thing that really sets us free!
WOW! Just beautiful in every way.
Thanks Sundance, we all needed this.
May the Lord Bless and Keep You.
Three versions.
First the Philippine Madrigal Singers. This version was not my favorite until I heard this group. A Divine precision of voice…
Messiah College, 2012…fluid…
Edison Lopes…
May God bless SD and everyone tonight, and please say a prayer for a sunny day this coming dawn…
Thank you for posting this, Menagerie! This particular version always leaves tears rolling down my cheeks. Carrie Underwood at her amazing God-given talented best. Vince Gill’s beautiful guitar work — all inspired from above.
Blessings to you and to your friend too.
