At some point they hold elections in the Central Valley to see if the residents would like to rejoin the United States. They vote to do this. Would not the United States be in the right to help these people, and reabsorb them back into the United States.

Our community is truly multi ethnic, and I am afforded the opportunity to speak with individuals from many countries.
Russian, Turk, Lebanese, Punjabi ( Indian) Chinese, ( Mainland and H.K.) many other neighbours and business associates believe BRICS with the likely addition of Saudi Arabia and Argentina in 2023 will “ do in “ the U.S. dollar.
As many will know the U.S. dollar has soared in value over the last several months.
Only IMO because it is the reserve currency. The Euro etc are getting hammered.
I certainly don’t have the expertise to appreciate where this is all headed but the financial fallout here in Canada is already precarious

THE serious problem our nation faces the continued ease with which massive election fraud can be accomplished nationwide. Nothing has not been corrected or secured.
In fact, there is NO trustworthy election security; and, there will again be 10s/100s of millions of mail-in ballots.
EXAMPLE: you mail in your ballot 3 weeks before election day. The county election board checks your signature on the envelope against your voter registration signature. Ok.
They then SEPARATE the identifying envelope from the ballot. Toss the ballot into a box to be STORED (where?!) Until election day. On election day in-person votes are counted FIRST leaving the parties to know how many mail-in ballots they need to steal the election.
Foolish voters can login to see that their ballot was RECEIVED. They feel great… but there will be NO WAY to know that THEIR ballot was not replaced, in the middle of the night, over the 4 weeks political operatives have to break into ballot storage rooms and replace real ballot boxes with fraud ballot boxes.

Yesterday I had to drive somewhere that was about 450 miles. In my “old gas-guzzling SUV” loaded up with stuff that I needed to deliver, it took me just under 6 and a half hours including one quick stop to fill up when the tank was 3/4 empty. I cannot fathom having to deal with charging an EV.

Local Cable News used to screen out great callers also. C-Span was one of the few outlets back in the old days that did not censor. Trump is the person most needed and necessarily for these times. But I think it is fair to look down the road a little and think about a successor. He can’t go on indefinitely.
In fact, we don’t even know if he will be a 2024 candidate.
His endorsements for various offices have done remarkably well mostly. And his new social media presence is flourishing.
But beyond this, I just wonder if there will be enough legitimate acolytes of his that will be able to fight the way he has. And effect serious change in the GOP apparatus.
Or perhaps the longer term objective would be to form an authentic Maga-centric third party. Obviously a third party would face enormous logistical, financial and cultural issues. But history is never static. And radical changes do occur. Often unexpectedly. Usually in stressful and violent times.
It probably is more difficult in the U.S. than elsewhere, with the embedded assumption of the two party history. But in other multi party countries new alliances and parties to form and sometimes win elections.
In Quebec Canada I witnessed first hand how a band of literal terrorists, the FLQ, went from being a fringe movement in the late sixties to the ruling provincial government in the seventies. With a name change to the Parti Quebecois. Ironically, Pierre Trudeau, father of the current evil and inept Justin, invoked martial law to fight those terrorists in their early stages. But they still morphed into a populist, socialist entity that won multiple elections and even now is currently in power. And a number of their objectives have filtered into all provincial parties there.
I just do not trust the GOP establishment to morph into a Maga-centric party. Any Trump endorsee will have a major uphill battle. Too much swamp/elite power, noney and influence right now.
But on the current trajectory towards chaos and the ‘reset’ you never know when a turning point will lead to a powerful populist movement that overwhelms the status quo. Whether as a transformed GOP or a new party.
I am not taking anything away from your fine post but speaking from experience the biggest obstacle facing third parties which doom them is ballot placement. Getting slot A or B is key. Third parties in almost every instance get doomed to C or lower.
Old models don’t apply anymore in unprecedented times. A new party which MAGA and others flock to could be very successful. Should have happened a long time ago when the stolen election happened, but that’s also an old story that did not materialize.
If PTrump is not there at the front as the candidate, all MAGA changes unless a back up is ready to go. So far, there is no one.
I remember when the Globalists in anticipation of Heritage America’s reaction to their upcoming Free Trade treasons commissioned the forming of a third party called “The Reform Party” to split the anti-NAFTA movement. This was also done with the Bull Moose Party to split the Taft vote so that arch traitor Wilson could get in and throw us right into WWI after promising not to. And the America people went right along with it, which according to some was an example of Mass Formation Psychosis.
In your defense I agree with your assessment of this being “unprecedented” times, but having spent time on my own campaign, and others, and being involved in a third party movement, its a very difficult uphill climb. I still think its much better to work to take back the Republican party from the billionaire globalists who control it just like the Democrat party is controlled by billionaire globalists.

Old models do apply, and that model is called self-interest. Who is going to go through the trouble and expense to set up a third party to make you or me happy? Nobody. They will only do it if they see a payday for themselves. Same thing with the FLQ party in Canada, they did it for themselves and populist appeal was a means to an end.
You want a third party? Then be prepared to contribute mightily and often so the party knows whose interests are paramount. But most people figure they’ll save money and still get the benefit so why contribute, forcing the third party to look for big donors and then their interests will supersede.

AS for the MAGA movement, 2 years ago I expressed concerns for its longevity, because it WAS so dependent on ONE man, DJT.

The Republican party grew as a grassroots party, a “3rd party” initially, but it attained political power, standing and longevity by absorbing a traditional party, the WHIGS.
And that was WAY Before all the roadblocks to a new 3rd party were put in place, after Perot.

Given a choice among a Uniparty System, a Two-Party System or a Multi-Party System, Uniparty is worst. I bet we agree on that. The other models each have some advantages to offset their disadvantages.
In a true Two-Party system it seems to be a trend that the biggest issues of disagreement stay on the table until resolution. Even if it takes generations. Whereas in a Multi-Party system they seem to jump back and forth from one issue to another.

In my area the republican (MAGA) running for house has a very low budget to work with and can’t afford to pay for polling, but at the end of the primaries he said he first discovered he had a chance of winning the primary with two weeks to go –when door-knockers reported back what people were saying.
I’ve always been a bit nervous about door-knocking solo and in the past have instead chosen to make calls or put up signs -In my city and surrounds the safety of the neighborhoods shifts greatly from block to block. Guess if they would group us up so we’re not going alone, I might do it —know now how important it is.
There are numerous groups that do orientations for GOTV operations, charlie Kirks organisation is running them Nationwide.
Unless you live in Death Valley, there is such an operation in your area.
And yes, I know there are some here saying kirk is GOPe, personally i don’t see it, and an orientation on doorknocking is going to give you the “how to’s” no matter WHO is putting it on.
