Next time, PDJT WILL have a pool, he is developing it now. However, he must have some plan, for how to get his nominees thru the confirmation process, so that his second term is different from his first.

I have “shook my head” at all the focus on VAERS, because long ago I researched how adverse reactions are monitored/recorded for Rx. medications.
The company that MAKES and markets the medication is responsible for monitoring, recording adverse reactions including deaths of the medications it produces.
Bottom line is the FDA and Drug companies have been conducting drug tests on consumers, for YEARS.
Its called ‘marketing’.
If you truly NEED a Rx med, your best sticking with OLDER meds, that are also available in a “generic” version; not saying get the generic, but IF they are available in a generic version, that means they have been available for 20+ years, and so the drug interactions, side effects, etc. are well known.
Newer meds, they only learn about, once they start Rx them.
Dutchman: I worked in the pharma & biotech biz for my entire career and am very familiar with drug discovery, development, clinical trials and regulatory affairs. I agree with your comment. There will always be exceptions, such as with newer drugs to treat certain life-threatening cancers, yet, in all cases, the risk/benefit ratio should be considered.

I agree, but would add that even 20 year old drugs need to be questioned and researched before you take them. Drs settle into patterns, and will prescribe drugs they are comfortable with, without periodically reviewing efficacy and safety data.
Statins, steroids, antibiotics are prime examples I have personal knowledge of.
Levaquin/Cipro, for example, have been Black Boxed for over a decade and have left behind serious lifelong injuries, yet I’ve interacted with about a dozen medical professionals, including a compounding pharmacist, who were surprised when I told them to check recent literature on that class of drugs. They are routinely prescribed for UTI, sinus infection, when much less dangerous and effective treatments are available.
Many conditions can be resolved or improved with lifestyle, exercise, diet, and appropriate nutritional supplements. Sad that it’s so difficult to find a practitioner that is well versed in any of these topics.
We are willfully over medicated and under educated about our own health. Big Govt, Big Pharma, Big Medicine, Big Agriculture only care about us as commodities.
Be your OWN Dr, or at the least your own “Primary care physician”, and remember that all the Dr is giving you is his medical opinion; opinions are like “*ssholes, everybody HAS one, and at some points in their life, everybody IS one.”
I occasionally USE Drs, and I mean that in all senses of the word. MOSTLY I see to me n mines health, without using Drs, but occasionally, in certain circumstances, I WILL go to a Dr, in order to have them order a test I need, that would be impractical for me to obtain otherwise.
And yes, I should have clarified the “is it available in generic” is a GENERAL Guideline, no medication should be taken, JUST cause a Dr Rxs it.
I always tell my family that “doctors are well educated guessers.” Pay attention to them but do your own due diligence.

Actually it is not total garbage. The Harvard study said that it “under reported”, not that it was garbage. What can be gleamed by VAERS is it represents a lowest possible adverse reactions, which means things are very likely that that they are worst. Bottomline, IT IS WORST THAN WHAT IS BEING REPORTED.

How many people had covid that never were reported….cause it wasn’t actually checked; they thought it was just a ‘bug’ or the ‘flu’ so they just took care of themselves —–no medical help was given or asked for—–therefore it wasn’t reported or counted.
Having coordinated clinical trials, the adverse event reporting during the trial is absolutely necessary to determine safety and efficacy. Those reports are filed by the coordinator who has access to the patient, the drug, all medical records and the approved investgators (doctors) who are conducting the trial. The vast majority of events have nothing to do with the trial drug, rather they are related to other drugs the patient is taking, some other factor or an undetermined cause. Something as simple as a headache complaint will trigger an event report.
VAERS is worthless. There is no tracking of the patient. Have posted this many times here when people are hysterical about the growing numbers of VAERS. Can some of these events be related to the vaxx? Absolutely, but there is no way to accurately determine that.
Especially as there appears to be little to zero effort to investigate.

How about just a fake test and saying it was a good test. (you know, to make some more big bucks). It all came up too fast to be a true test in my own opinion. It was a test before it even had a name? Or was even announced that it was a ‘disease’.
I’ve wondered why anyone would get tested when they were going to be denied any therapeutic treatment.
Actually, monoclonal antibody treatment still works well against covid if you can get it prescribed. Regeron (what PTrump got) worked great against the original strains, but got pulled when it didn’t work well against later strains.
However, there is a new MA treatment, Bebtelovimab, that works well against the new Omicron variants. A friend in TX said her friend who works in medicine says she has successfully given it to patients, and that it knocks out covid in a short time, sometimes a day or two. But you have to have a positive PCR test, and you have to get the MA treatment early — like within a week of getting covid, and before any serious symptoms happen.
I am 67 and my 92 yo mom lives near me in the same apt. bldg, so I got tested last year when I had a nasty cold/flu that had overlapping covid-like symptoms. My primary doc said she could get me hooked up with MA treatment if I ever tested positive (I am unvaxxed — the MA treatment works with vaxxed or unvaxxed folks.) So far, I haven’t needed it, but I have had friends who had severe or long covid, so I figure it’s good to know about what there is that can help, and that doctors are more likely to offer if asked.

I will say however, if they are a new drug, and not just a new use, they need to go through years of clinical trials, in order for me to use them. Therapeutics like Zpak, Ivermevtin and inhalers all provide relief or cure but are being denied to patients.

thedocoo: Do you still plan to visit West Point? As a kid and teenager, I found visiting (football game) and staying at West Point (one week lacrosse camp) to be a thrilling experience. However, that was decades before wokeness and Covidiocy.
I am a graduate of West Point and the answer is NO.
I attended a class re-union a few years back and left highly dissatisfied with the experience. The events of the intervening years have changed my ambivalence to visiting to outright hostility to the institution.
I have foregone my class 50th re-union (for academy grads this is a BIG EVENT) and will not attend anything further as things stand today. I refuse to help with local recruiting as well as well refuse requests from parents who know I attended the academy, with prejudice.
Good on you. My hubby is a USAFA grad and ignores any and all info from them (with a few exceptions for life-long friends). People have asked him to talk to their kids about attending and he flat says no, no, no.

Here is a legitimate question; When a State sues the Federal government and even if the State wins, no amount of any financial judgement solves the problem. It just moves more funny money around, does it not? So, unless the lawsuit forces a change in behavior, what’s the point? Sure the State might offset some costs with a financial judgment but ultimately the people who created the problem in the 1st place are not impacted at all. Wouldn’t a better solution be for States just do their own border enforcement and force the feds to piss off?
States cannot do their own border enforcement without legal sanction and FEDERAL MONEY.
International borders and immigration are the responsibility of the Federal Government.
The suit would give a state grounds to do the work but money is needed to pay for the effort. Even TX does not have the money to pay for the assets needed to handle the flood crossing the border.
Sanction and even Federal FUNNY MONEY is needed. The law suits are needed.
So in short, it does force a change in behavior. When the fed prints all the money they want it is funny money

I do believe there is a law that allows the states to defend their borders if the federal govt. isn’t doing their job of protecting the borders themselves. Allowing invaders for e.g. It’s been mentioned before on a number of blogs that the states have more power in the border issues than most know.

Retired Magistrate here: Well, some good news. We have a good friend that lives in the eastern part of the State of Ohio and oil and gas leases are being activated and drilling/fracking is starting up again. Our friend received $10,000 for his lease rights and his neighbor, who has more land, received 1.5 million for his lease rights. These leases are on private land. A lot of land in that area is old strip mine land so I expect to see more and more leases put into place. That part of the state is part of the shale ledge that runs up into Pennsylvania. This particular ledge is rich in oil and gas.
It really does depend on what state, county, township or district you are in concerning how bad/tolerable the economic condition will be.

Yes I think so — the purse strings is one power available to a majority controlled republican congress (if they have the backbone). The GOP could refuse to pass a budget or continuing resolution or any bills until x, y, z is done -such as defunding the 87,000 IRS agents. Another power via a GOP majority Senate would be to block all nominations for activist judges (basically blocking 100% of Biden’s nominations). So while Biden has veto power to block bills, the GOP would still have these two powers and possibly other means of impacting things. Absolutely need to replace McConnell and McCarthy with MAGA leaders though.

Brains are one thing and laziness and ethics are others.
What people aren’t saying is the ones that don’t graduate are still on the hook. A lot of my sons friends went to college and didn’t make it pass their first year. My son graduated debt free. His friends were heavily recruited with partial scholarships, (volleyball, rugby, water polo). They dropped out after a year with 20-30 grand of loans. I’m not saying they shouldn’t pay it back………but at 17-18 years old and being heavily recruited, I also think they were taken advantage of. I don’t have the right answer, but now they have 30k-50k a year jobs paying 400-700 dollars a month for ten years. The whole system is FUBAR.
Learning a trade and perhaps going to a affordable County College at night and getting a Associates Degree in Business/Accounting is a good route
I totally agree. Watched these kids getting recruited was stunning. Most had single parent house hold. Multiple big schools going after them…..UCLA, SDSU, Etc. Only the big three get full rides (Basketball, Baseball, Football). They blew so much sunshine up their butts, it was disgusting. On the bright side, I got some of them to join the military……..at the time, the military would pay off students loans if you joined.
Private schools often offer better grants and scholarships for students in need. U.S.C., Stanford, The Ivy League schools. They cost $50,000 or more a year but students may get a grant of $50,000, plus Federal Student loans also have some, although lesser grant money available to those without any means. That means no home ownership or bank funds available from parents. Otherwise they expect parents to leverage their homes to pay.
In many ways, a student is better off going to a more exclusive college, that may cost three times more than a state school,because they do have alumni donors and grants to help out those who qualify.
The old school movie “Johny Be Good” (80’s) shows how ridiculous college recruiting for football is.
Where were their supposedly fiscally responsible parents who could have done their homework, read the recruitment details and said absolutely no unless the money is not loaded onto the back of my kid if he doesn’t make it. Or how about just plain no to any huge student loans that would cripple the graduate under mountains of debt when they graduate?
I have no patience with excusing people of making very bad decisions that are not thought out beforehand and then expecting others to take the burden for these poor decisions down the road and I’m not talking about loan forgiveness either. Terrible financial ignorance and so unnecessary. You have the money you play. You have to borrow you don’t or you make darn sure you can pay the debt off in a reasonable time on your own.
These young adults are being used and their parents are not being the responsible party and telling them the truth about the financial details. Stars in the eyes to go to a .’prestigious’ university rules the mindset of so many and then the roof falls in. Completely avoidable with some sense and discipline.

Hard to find responsible analysis on Ukraine. Foreign Affairs is just as biased as anywhere else, but sometimes it puts up a piece that is worth reading. This is one of them.

Not the primary focus of the piece, but should be. Putin threatens to use nukes in response to any violation of Russian territory at the same time he is holding a sham “referendum” in the Donbas in order to claim the people there want to be absorbed into Russia. Once the area is declared annexed, Putin will claim the right to use tactical nukes against Ukrainian forces fighting there. Not that hard to figure out putin’s scheme.
The real question is, what will NATO and the US do when (not “if”) Russia nukes Ukrainian forces? And let’s be REAL clear about this. PUTIN is driving this. He is the only one who has invaded another country and threatening to use nukes to keep it.

Actually, if you study the real situation in Ukraine … including the long and bloody history stretching back hundreds if not thousands of years … you will understand that “a referendum” is something that these people have been calling for, for almost ten years. Even as they are still being savagely attacked by western Ukranians because they want to speak Russian. Even as they create mobile polling stations so that large collections of people gathered waiting to vote won’t be shelled.

Also, the referenda going on this weekend in eastern Ukraine are by the iniative of the residents of 4 regions. They are voting yes or no to become part of the Russian Federation. The government and President of Russia did not set up these referenda. If the votes are yes, the regions immediately come under the Russian constitution, and Russia will protect the new citizenry.

Frankly, I tuned the Sandy Hook conspiracy out soon after the shooting. It was clear the shooting actually happened. It was not some event staged by actors to challenge Second Amendment rights.
I had listened to Jones’ radio shows 15-17 years ago, and seen some of his videos about rich people colluding on something. The videos were boringly innocuous, despite Jones hyping a conspiracy with zilch actual evidence.
It was quickly apparent that Jones was a hustler, pursuing, exaggerating, and making up shocking stories to build an audience. I ignored Jones thereafter.
The present trial testimony of harassment of the Sandy Hook victims families by Jones’ followers surprised and shocked me.
I had though of Jones as just another celebrity seeking hustler trying to get rich from outrageous stories. Not any more.
The hostile harassing tactics of Jones’ followers and his posture as a persecuted victim elevate him to cult leader status.
The simple fact that my posts pointing out Jones’ flaws attracts much hostility from his dutiful followers confirms for me the truth of Sandy Hook families testimony of being harassed by Jones’ followers.
Alex Jones is not the first cult leader scamming frustrated, angry conservatives for profit, and he won’t be the last.
Greedy hustlers are always with us, exploiting despair and anger for profit and fame.
We are our own watch towers of caution. We must be massively careful when people tell us exactly what we want to hear. And, doubly so when they are raising funds from our fears and anger.
If we are not cautious about our loyalties, we risk destroying the values and good of conservatism by chasing after false prophets.

There are many, many things that don’t add up with the Sandy Hook incident. It didn’t happen the way we were told, and that kid Lanza wasn’t the shooter. Professional soldiers said there’s no way an untrained kid such as him could’ve done it.
Tell that to the parents of dead first graders. Think it’s a conspiracy theory to them? The thousands of people who would have had to be”in on it” to make it all turn out the way they wanted is not feasible. The sheer numbers just cannot be compromised or comprehended. A whole town and many others outside the town. Really?
You may be right, but I don’t think so. But, I don’t see how Trump has withstood the hate and legal challenges he has faced over the last 6/7 years. His opponents are so disgustingly evil while claiming to be fair and just. Hopefully the masses will see how absolutely corrupt these people are.
But, if he were to decide not to run and DeSantis is nominated, DeSantis would lose against Hillary IMO. The MAGA people would be deflated and possibly not come out to vote and the Democrats would cheat again. We would probably have another result like Romney or McCain. The Washington Establishment would be overjoyed with a Hillary Clinton win-That’s what they wanted in 2016.
That won’t happen. The MAGA supporters will not allow it despite so many here saying it’s only PTrump or nobody else can measure up to fill the bill. Some other person needs to be lined up right now to step in if needed. A true and acceptable MAGA candidate but doesn’t have to be a perfect one. Nobody seems to know who that might be, but someone has got to be found and soon to be ready to go. Just in case.
We are playing with fire if we do not get ready for anything that might happen because you know the opposition is working to create just such a situation to wipe all MAGA out of a win in 2024 if PTrump is not available to lead the way.
Trump has endured because of our overwhelming support and protection for the his family and business empire and country.

There is an extension called “Behind the overlay” When you get blocked, you hit CTRL SHIFT +x, and that overlay goes away. I am currently using it on Brave, works on chrome as well.

The US and NATO are attempting to activate hostilities in the Balkans as well as between Azerbaijan-Armenia and using Afghanistan to stir up issues with the Independent Republics bordering Afghanistan.
Then there is the issue of Baltic States threatening action as well.
I also suspect a major reason for Ukraine gains in their recent operations is a healthy influx of WHOLE “Western Volunteer” Units, at least in company or battalion size. That recently published list of US Equipment sent to the “Ukrainians” would equip such a force and equip a few Ukrainian Units making the “compatible”.
