His pastor parents were friends with the pastor owner of my house and they would travel all over and go from church to church and became very good friends. Biden, in his hateful speech, clearly dilineated there are “Mainstream Republicans”, and then there are those “MAGA Republicans”, threats to Democracy, etc.
So, saying there are the Colas, Dems and mainstream Republicans, and then those “UnColas” the “MAGA Republicans” that are DIFFERENT (and ‘extremist’).
And his speech layed out the Dem plan, for the Nov. elections. In Az they are spending $14 million, to make sure voters know Blake Masters, Kari Lake etc. are “the Uncola candidates”.
Az. Republican voters already HAD, and made their choice on whether they want “Cola Candidates” (Robson, etc. mainstream Republicans) or “Uncola Candidates” and their choice was clear.
So, the advertising campaign of the Dems is NOT appealing to Republican voters. It is no doubt AIMED at those Dem voters left who still believe “Orange man bad” (don’t drink “the UnCola” its POISON!) and the few Republicans and Indies left, who are deluded enough to think Bidens policies are good for America, and PDJT’s were bad.
The same non-existent constituency Liz Chaney was appealing to when she positioned herself as the “savior of the Republican party” and lost bigly.
In effect, this is like Coke or Pepsi running ads, pointing out how 7-Up is “different, the UN-Cola”.
Presumably this is the same approach being pursued by the Dem party for the next two months, Nationwide.
Given the MAGA movement is where all the energy is in the R base, the Dems are using their big $ advantage (in Az $14 million to $5 million) to tout the virtue of their opponents!

Not that I agree with it, but the Federal pre-emption on States enforcing Immigration law holds that State and local Governments can not enforce immigration law.
That is, they can not arrest someone who’s only crime is being here illegally.
If they commit a burglary, drunk driving etc. they can be arrested for THAT, but if not, no.
Az passed a law, making it a 10 year sentence felony, to “conspire with one or more individuals to engage in human trafficing” i.e. smuggle someone across the border.
If a group of ten are apprehended, crossing the border, this law obviously applies to the coyote, guiding the illegals across the border, and to the cartel the coyote works for.
Az has taken the position it OBVIOUSLY applies to each of the 9 illegals, as well.
