I’m thinking DeSantis should empty Florida’s prisons and send those folks to places like Martha’s Vineyard, Aspen, and Malibu. It would save a lot of tax dollars that could be used for infrastructure necessitated by all the people moving to Florida.
This is a great move by DeSantis and Abbot. Put all these illegals in every neighborhood where those who make the decision allowing them. It is simple and a solution solver.
I think that he should put Fairfax , Tyson’s Corners, and the northern Maryland Counties on speed dial. Think how many beaurocrats live in the vicinity. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
Also. I just had a woman knock on our door to leave campaign literature for the Democratic party. When asked if I was interested in receiving any of it, I told her not in the least. She then informed me that the literature was for my daughter, who has lately been annoying me with wanting to have discussions about
how white supremacy exists. She asked if she could leave it for her. The woman was very pleasant, so I
felt like somewhat of a jerk when I said I preferred not to have any of it in my house. On the other hand,
touchy feely democrats like this particular woman are used to everybody being in complete agreement with
every word out of their mouths. I was very polite with my wording about not wanting any of her materials in my home. I wonder how much of a complete shock to her system my actions were.
This one might bite me afterwards, if my daughter asks why I turned the lady away.

I’m a boomer and I believe your opinion about large % of boomers. We grew up in an era when the USSR was decidedly hard communist and the USA and them were mortal enemies. As school kids we had nuclear bomb drills every semester… as if that would provide any shelter …yet it formed a pretty solid attitude in our minds. Don’t blame a generation who came of age being made (by our own propagandists) deathly fearful of Russia. If Russia joined NATO, then NATO has no reason to exist….no raison d’être.

I generally agree with Mr. Hanson’s viewpoint, but we are on opposite sides with the Ukraine-Russia situation. Mr. Hanson seems to be overcome with the ‘red-fever’ in his analysis. Some times we just have to agree to disagree. Hanson should listen to the boots on the ground in Ukraine to get a better grasp of the facts & truth on what is occurring. Retired Magistrate here: For those who took the covid shot and are worried about blood clots here is a simple way you can check to see if you might have blood clots in your legs. You can take your pulse on the inside of your ankle near your ankle bone. If you can feel a good strong pulse in that area the blood should be circulating just fine in your legs; therefore, the possibility of blood clots is slim. If you have trouble finding the correct spot or don’t feel a pulse you might want to make an appointment with your family physician or a nurse practitioner to help you find the spot or confirm that there is no pulse or a very weak pulse.
Also, invest in a good blood pressure cuff. Don’t rely on the ones in the grocery store; they tend to be inaccurate. Take your blood pressure for a week and determine what is normal for you and then monitor it every couple of weeks. If you see a prolonged spike in your blood pressure, clots might be an issue.
Finally, some research has shown that drinking green tea is beneficial to keeping arteries/veins free flowing and bolstering your immune system. I drink three cups every day sweetened with honey, and it has helped a lot.

I followed that advice for several years and ended up with a hole in my stomach and the lining of my stomach bleeding. Not fun. Once I stopped taking the baby aspirin my stomach eventually healed; however, I was anemic for a year.
Just be very careful in taking any type of aspirin especially if you are an older individual.

I have found very informative studies on Pub Med, unbiased and great methodology in many. There are many studies about the efficacy of Ivermectin for example. There were many studies that were extremely helpful when fighting Stage 4 cancer as well. Why not keep an open mind and not denigrate everyone that may have a different experience and different circumstance.
I take a baby aspirin every day as prescribed by my doctor, along with my other meds. I have been doing so for three years, and don’t have a hole in my stomach or anemia.
