I think the major reason for the push back against MAGA and Pres. Trump has been that it makes the Democrat/Progressive platform look INSANE.
The model of the Democrats has always been San Francisco and the Silicon Valley… but the growth of the Silicon Valley (san San Francisco) was due to NON-PROGRESSIVE INTERVENTION DURING ITS DEVELOPMENT.
In the 1970’s-1990’s, there was no Rent Control that punished small Property Owners, also the Silicon Valley’s CHEAP LAND made it so Intel, Apple and HP could have large campuses. Progressive policies have made $3000+ rents normal for a Studio. It has also made it cost prohibitive to manufacture here. Thus why Tesla has built a plant in Texas.
In the 1980s up to the election of Gavin Newsom as Mayor of San Francisco, crime and Homelessness wasn’t a EPIDEMIC. But since he panders to the Progressive, he’s heralded as a Saint, all the while thriving at his personal VINEYARD in Napa with his AUNT Nancy Pelosi who started off as a “middle class” PTA Mom now worth 100 MILLION.
These Progressives are LITERALLY THE 1% THEY HATE, YET THE HATE MOB NEVER APPROACHES THEM! All the while, every time I go about my home town of San Francisco all I see is FILTHY, CRIME AND HOMELESSNESS.
I do not believe it is about “returning to common sense” but breaking the Cult Programming of the Progressives.
Only after they have been De-Nazified, then reality can come back, other wise we’re just twiddling our thumbs. We need victory to do that, we need to make them howl at the moon like they did in 2017 with Donald Trump’s FIRST VICTORY. We need MORE MAGA Conservatives in the House and Senate, and WE NEED President Trump back in 2024.

Demons scream loudest about when they are about to be Exercised. President Trump was that “Holy Water” to the Left. Thus the howling at the Moon that we saw in 2017.

I haven’t checked and my memory is not as sharp as it once was, but isn’t that about the same time we allowed them to take prayer and the pledge of allegiance to our flag out of schools?
Isn’t that around the Vietnam era when Ted Turner and Jane Fonda were leading the hate America charge? Maybe that is in the same time frame that Planned Parenthood started appearing in black neighborhoods, and the US “welfare” agencies began paying women for the number of illegitimate children they had? It seemed at the time that black “families” were encouraged not to work and mothers of fatherless children were rewarded.
I’m sure it goes father back than that, but I remember being in High School when JFK was murdered and it shook the nation. It seemed to me the entire world mourned the loss of such a leader. Respect for America seems to have diminished exponentially since that time.
Could the loss of respect be that we never brought the true perpetrators to justice, and since then we’ve allowed criminals to take over societies without fear of paying for their crimes?
The Left appears to be devoid of Love, Honor, Respect, and Courage. They seem to be demon possessed; filled with hate and rage.
Perhaps that is due to not having love and appreciation for God and His wondrous creation, or fear of retribution from Almighty God. Look at their leaders; renounced God in their chambers and took him out of their party platform. Willing to lie, steal, cheat and defame in order to grasp power. Disgusting lot with no honor or integrity. I’m talking Pelosi, Schumer, Obama, Clinton, et. al.

A president who ACTUALLY implements the desires of truly conservative voters, even via the far from perfect half-actions by President Trump (I’ve already detailed how a few sentences changed in the US Code on the hiring of aliens to close a loophole you could drive an 18-wheeler through, changes explicitly designated within the code as the SOLE responsibility of the POTUS, would END illegal immigration overnight WITHOUT a wall), is a HUGE threat to the oligarchy because he bypasses the FACADE (see below) of voter control and actually provides some control to voters.

A great deal of empirical research speaks to the policy influence of one or another set of actors, but until recently it has not been possible to test these contrasting theoretical predictions against each other within a single statistical model. We report on an effort to do so, using a unique data set that includes measures of the key variables for 1,779 policy issues.
Multivariate analysis indicates that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence. The results provide substantial support for theories of Economic-Elite Domination and for theories of Biased Pluralism, but not for theories of Majoritarian Electoral Democracy or Majoritarian Pluralism.
In the United States, our findings indicate, the majority does not rule—at least not in the causal sense of actually determining policy outcomes.
When a majority of citizens disagrees with economic elites or with organized interests, they generally lose. Moreover, because of the strong status quo bias built into the U.S. political system [that describes the overwhelming influence of the administrative state and lobbyists – W], even when fairly large majorities of Americans favor policy change, they generally do not get it.

I thought of separating them out a while ago because of their importance and the verse you mentioned but, as of yet, have just left them captitalized in the prayer below so they stand out a little bit. I’ve been a Christian a long time now. And have had more interactions with God than I can count at this point. Just through all of that stuff, including almost dying a couple times, the one thing that ever mattered was His Love.
We all have a God-like superpower…Love.
And that is so cool.
Think about it Still, what is the one thing that always solves so many problems? Love.
Love for your neighbor. Love for that joker that stole your cig from your hand. Love for the ex-wife. Love for the government flunkie at the DMV.
Love man. I have never partaken of weed or anything like that, but I think them hippies were onto something.
Especially when I consider our Lord could have just abandoned us if He had more of a human response to it. He didn’t.
He chose Love.

I agree that Godly love is the most important… and should be kept foremost in our thoughts in relation to God, other believers, and our fellowman. Even among New Testament believers, the primary importance of love played a central role as they prayed for other attributes as well.

Just so you know, a couple days ago someone asked me to define Love.
I was just basically riffing it at that point, but I think I had a decent definition.
I went through a lot of things, but basically what Love is, is the fact that we all (Mankind) left God.
And God had the absolute right to leave us at that point.
He chose not to. He didn’t choose tortuous way to get us back, He went through Christ.
He didn’t give up on us, even though he had that right.
THAT is love. When someone hurt you bad, betrayed you completely…and you choose to come for them anyways.
I also pointed out when Christ was in the Temple and all he did was throw a hissy fit and toss a few tables over. Knowing His power, what he could have done…and didn’t. THAT is love.
We deserved so much worse, but God found a way to get to him. That is Love.
It’s not a small thing man. It’s everything.

I do think that much of what of what you were attempting to convey at the spur of the moment came close to the mark as pointing to God’s willingness to reconcile with us through giving His Son in sacrifice despite our sin:

In such a scenario when trying to share on such things, it seems good to be careful with colloquial terms, as “hissy fit“ seems to be generally used as a dismissive or even disrespectful term for someone acting unreasonably in a petty and uncontrolled manner.

the frustrating thing is that almost all the articles that are “peer reviewed” are in countries other than the US and are not restricted by the political agendas of higher education etc which is often here, the power behind the peer reviewers and whom ever, in America, sets those “standards” for us.

We need to hear more from them, going deeper into the covid debacle. 97% is supposed to be statistical significance. Based on a lot of other mumbo jumbo out there…I will take a 92% death reduction rate for a virus that 99% survive. And 100% reduction of hospitalization…can’t beat that. Going into the article, it does present a good case for Ivermectin in older people with hypertension and type 2 diabetes…

I have my name on a couple papers. The peer review process is…lame to be honest. It doesn’t mean much. Only the actual study does. How in-depth and widespread it is.
Nothing is conclusive. Not the vaccines or the masks, or the ivermectin and other medicines. Basically, it was impossible to really do a solid study anyways, so whoever is in charge can claim what they want.

Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine are anti-parasitics. They physically hurt a certain type of parasite. They are highly effective in that regard. Massivley produced to combat both Malaria and River Blindness. Both cause by parasite. These are macro-organisms.
Covid is cause by what effectively is a cold virus. A nasty one to be sure, but a Cold Virus. It is NOT a parasite. It makes no sense from any biology standpoint that an anti-parasitic would work on it.
There is no study showing it does, as far as prevention. There are studies showing it might a far as treatment. This might be, because immune system response is similar.
None of that is proof of taking either drug as a preventative. It’s possible that Ivermectin or Quinine-based drugs given after symptoms might work. It’s inconclusive.
What you and others need to realize is that the top-touted vaccines are no better. mRNA vaccines have been the holy grail of medicine. They can be used to tailor anti-cancer treatment. They are used to “train” your immune system.
But so far do terribly against viral infections. Which hasn’t changed.
I’m not here to give you a solution, I’m here to give you the bad news that none of this stuff works for prevention. It’s possible that Ivermectin or other anti-parasital medicines work for treatment, but there hasn’t been enough time for a good study for Covid.

I know that is the popular statement among our political persuasion, but that isn’t actually true. They are anti-parasitics. Have nothing to do with viruses. My point in talking about them is that they may have an effect on certain viral infections as far as immune system reactions. Every time you get “sick” it’s usually your immune system reacting to something. If it goes overboard, it’s because it doesn’t really understand the virus or bacteria or parasite.
What something like Ivermectin might be able to do is to calm that down a bit. But, just from the studies, that isn’t proven.

You are absolutley correct Keln, these agents are anti parasitic agents. Hydrox, antimalarial and Iverm. intestinal worms. Like with many other drugs, over years of use and actually collecting data, it was discovered that the agent had more than one use. My best friend has been taking Hydroxy daily for over 5 years. She has sjogrens syndrome (auto immune) and found a doc who was involved in “off label” studies and uses. Happens all the time. At least, it used to by real docs, with real practices and real patients that actually got treated for a disease.
There are many other examples of multi use drugs, minoxidil and wellbutrin just two of them.
FWIW, this friend refused the vax, takes hydroxy daily and has had 2 bouts of COVID. One quite severe, the other not too bad. Believe only what you see.
There is a good precentage of off label uses of many of the drugs we use. Scinctific method is not perfect by a long shot. Medicine is an art too.
Agree and a licensed physician is within the scope of his practice to prescribe off label as is the pharmacist within his scope of practice to fill it as written, UNLESS the pharmacist believes it can cause harm, in which case he consults with physician.

I have done mine and it consistent with treatment using hq and Ivm plus even if it did not work (since there is over 99% recovery rate) it is less risky than the clot shot. Just in my circles I have seen lung clots,vax deaths, Bell’s palsy, shingles after the shot. Additionally Remdisvar was used on my mother in law which is consistent with killing people in three weeks.

We throw up a lot of headlines that can be very misleading. “Peer reviews” are a mutual admiration society. As soon as I see that, I am skeptical.
As far as taking anything prophylactically, that needs to be narrowed down to a duration at the very least. From what we have witnessed, COVID is not seasonal like the flu. Do we take a med, year round, forever, for a virus that has an overall survival rate of 94% without taking anything? From the very beginning, we approached this half assed backwards. Do you have any proof that doctors are now prescribing this? There are at least 5 major hospital systems in my area and not one of them is prescribing this, other than a few renegade docs.
My neighbor recently died of Covid. She was morbidly obese and probably had other medical conditions I don’t know about. According to her husband the hospital gave her Ivermctin at the end, but it was too late to save her.

I instead turned towards nuclear science. The idea that you can literally split an atom and get energy from it for me as a young guy was exciting.
So I went that path instead.
But I can still read papers. I have a nuclear engineering degree, and even tried to work towards nuclear physics. Ran out of gubmint money for that.
Ivermectin is…interesting, but there is nothing conclusive. I wish I could tell you better on it. The studies just aren’t there. Nor are they there for Quinine derivatives like Hydroxychloriquine. It’s possible they work, but there isn’t an actual observational basis for it.
At the same time, it was well known before Covid that mRNA vaccines are problematic, so…I think all around everyone is being fed a spoonful of sugar to get them to accept a reality that isn’t actually there.

There are over 250 articles here going back several years. The vax ( and Covid) can cause serious future problems, but the vax accelerates them, where as natural immunity give far greater protection. I know where I will take my chances.

There was a Michigan hospital study that was actually pretty good, but they shut that one down too. Ur sample size theory is flawed. Collectively, there is enough study’s to show there is some benefit from Ivm and Hq. if the standard that vax testing was used they would be a miracle drugs. Risk benefit is higher than either vax or no treatment. Note that other drugs must be included, so u can not just look at hq or Ivm. U have to look at the complete package. Think of Dr. Zelkco. The number of people actually killed because of Covid is a tiny fraction of the reported numbers. If the case and death counting methods had remained the same, it’d be comparable to a bad flu year or swine flu. But unlike swine fu in 2009, covid mostly killed people who were near death anyway-those who would die within 6 months without or without covid. That makes it difficult to do a solid study on ivermectin or HCQ. The overwhelming number of people who get covid aren’t going to die whether they take ivermectin or HCQ or not, and those near death regardless of covid probably aren’t going to be helped by ivermectin or HCQ. That said, experts had a reason for trying ivermectin or HCQ-they knew that the properties of these drugs could have an effect on the virus replicating. They didn’t just pick them out of the blue. I haven’t read extensively on the ivermectin studies. I read two studies purporting to discredit it, but they were poorly designed and could also be read as suggesting that ivermectin helped. I suspect ivermectin and HCQ have some effect on helping with covid symptoms and perhaps shortening the time one is sick with the virus, but I doubt either would have had much effect on death rates simply because most people claimed to have died from covid really didn’t, and those who did were going to die soon anyway because of co-morbidities. One thing that is bizarre to me is how Alex Berenson is so anti-ivermectin. I just don’t get it. He has done great work in exposing the covid and vaccine frauds yet seems to be on a crusade against ivermectin and HCQ. He’s no more of a medical expert than I am, but a review of the studies and anecdotes from docs who treat patients clearly suggest that they probably have some effect on lessening symptoms and the time one is sick. Yet he won’t say that and seems eager to champion poorly designed studies saying ivermectin doesn’t work while ignoring others.

My husband had Covid. He had some underlying medical issues and took Ivermctin early on. He felt better within 24 hours and fully recovered in a few dys.
