Up and until 11/3/20 I had a basic trust in our government, that at the end of the day we were all Americans and after the election got on with my life. This trust has now been shattered…once trust is lost very hard to restore for me. My education is in CS so I am very aware of the spying potential of the internet and cell phones.
I have absolutely no social media presence, no Twitter, Facebook or any of the many other data mining/tracking apps.
My daily web browser is a modification of a normal browser that routes my connections randomly through a series of servers that are worldwide so my apparent IP address changes every time I start it and can’t be backtracked. It also has the ability to spoof my OS as either Microsoft, Mac, or Linux and spoof browser identities at my discretion. I can assume a new IP address with the click of a button.
I have space on a server in a foreign country ($4./mo) that is neither US or EU aligned and has rock solid privacy protections and that is where my *real* email originates and is received.
This can be problematic at times as some websites block me if they can’t data mine and execute Java script as much as they’d like. My privacy is more important to me than their webpage so I’m good with it, but if I choose to, I can just use the another browser/computer.
My phones are two prepaid (cash) flip phones that I change every other month ($20./ea) and the entities that have my current numbers are few (I’m retired) so updating my contacts is simple .
My mobile phone stays off unless I need to use it and inside a faraday cage when at home. The other phone stays on but remains at home as an answering machine.
I keep a sticky note in my wallet with Nancy Pelosi’s office number (202-225-4965) for those occasions when a business *requires* a phone number just to process a transaction.
My system isn’t “leakproof” because I still have to interact with medical, DMV, pharmacies and the IRS but compared to how most people give their data away freely, I’m fairly secure.
I’ve always suspected that corporate America/gov’t hates me because of the lack of identifying bread crumbs that I leave behind but I wasn’t fully aware of what lengths the gov’t would go to to get me “into the system”.
I filed my federal taxes in February and was due a small refund. When it still hadn’t shown up by August, I suspected our local post office employees of making it disappear much like our DMV tags regularly do in my rural town so I decided to check with the IRS.
Knowing that the IRS would not accept a connection from my secure browser, I went online with a normal one but no matter what I tried, the IRS server would reply with “Permission Denied”.
Using the phone and following the menu’s got me a “You’re return is still being processed”.
Five days later, I received a check from them and couldn’t ignore the coincidence especially since the date on the check was the day after I called.
Then it struck me, they were holding my refund to force me to call them so they could harvest my phone number.
It looks like the yolks on them as in a couple of weeks it will be time to change phones again. 🙂
I’ve had the idea that from time to time of doing a cell phone swap with others that I trust. My thinking is that the different destinations that the cell phone would be traveling would throw the predictability algorithm off. A slight way of throwing sand in the machinery.
When the cell phone is on the road, have a burner phone available to cover any calls you may need to make.

how about you using your expertise to write a simple program that automatically routes and interacts with random, or user-selected websites, to produce an erroneous ‘picture’ of the users? The user could pick a group of websites for BLM, dem, wealthy, poor, radical left, smart, dumb, teenage, retired, etc.
Rather than hide, this would a positive step to scramble the monitoring system if enough people did it.

Any recusal concerning a defendant or participant in a case should require the recusal in all cases involving that defendant or participant. An ethical conflict can’t be conditional. Yet that is just fine in her experience in our system.
Furthermore, the two are interrelated. The FBI took away legal documents under attorney-client privilege undermining the case the magistrate thought he should be recused from. Yet he approved that in approving the unconstitutional general search warrant.
The corruption runs deep.

Unfortunately, the ultimate arbter of recusal is the Judge, if he/she determines they aren’t going to recuse, they don’t.

Biden thinks he can get away with tossing three hundred billion dollars, more or less, on the taxpayer’s tab with his “student loan” cancelation order. He’s relying on a post-9/11 law which applies to times of national emergency and attempting to piggyback on the Covid one which was declared in 2020 along with the HEROES act — and of course that “emergency” has not been lifted.
The law post 9/11 was intended to by used to take care of people who decided to leave college and join the service, either after graduating or abandoning a collegiate degree, both of which could leave the person who did that with a serious debt burden.
It was never intended to be used as a means of excusing someone “just because” there happened to be a national emergency which had nothing to do with their either taking on the debt or what someone was doing related to same.
I would expect that in any fair hearing this goes up in smoke in the courts.
But — there’s a problem: Standing to sue.
You see, to bring a case before the courts you must have particularized injury. Further, the anti-injunction act (an actual law) prevents bringing a case regarding a federal government action until the injury occurs. That is, let’s say you believe some tax or penalty is unconstitutional. You must first be subject to it, pay it, and THEN sue. You can’t sue because you’ll have to pay it next year for example, even if the law has passed and has a definite date on which you will have to pay.
This marks one of the more-serious problems in this sort of instance: The Executive can do something it knows damn well is illegal but it also knows that identifying specific injury by a specific person is either difficult or even impossible. That is, “that this will cause inflation” or “this will raise the deficit” isn’t particularized injury.
This of course leaves them free to act with knowing disregard for the law — and not care.
Is that the case here?
We’re going to find out, it would appear.
And then the debate begins: What do the American public do in response when the Executive steals $300 billion — effectively taxes it — from every citizen in America? Those funds were not appropriated by Congress as, according to the Constitution they must first be via a bill originated in The House.

I suspect that the “real” reasons that dementia has increased significantly over the past 30-50 years has less to do with “plaque tangles” and is probably directly related to changes in our food sources/cooking methods (more preservatives, more chemicals, aluminum cans, non-stick cookware, etc.) and a massive increase in the number/type of medications that people are taking, at younger and younger ages!
We eat highly processed foods – filled with ingredients most of us can’t even pronounce, get almost no exercise, stay up too late (and need drugs to go to sleep), stare at screens all day, and then go to the doctor to demand a pill when we don’t feel well because it’s way too much work to change our diet and our lifestyle!
How many people do you know who are on five or more prescriptions? BP meds, cholesterol lowering drugs, thyroid medication, Type II diabetes regulators, anti-depressants/anti-anxiety prescriptions?
But, preventative care is too much work and doesn’t make any money for Big Pharma so no one is allowed to talk about that!!

What that appears to indicate is that posts with the actual graphic of the social media post see to attract and are viewed by more readers than posts on the same subject but that only have text and a textual URL.
Admins here may have more info on that since my observations are unscientific and I have not “kept score” for the aggregate.

WHATS missing from the MAL Raid? (cause its a biggie).
I have HAD search warrants served on my residence, before.
Granted, it was many years ago, but I don’t think the fundamentals have changed that much.
NORMALLY, the LE file the application for the search warrant, which includes their “P.C.”; Probable cause, making the case that they have reason to believe a crime has been committed, and that there is evidence in the residence.
For instance, our C/I or undercover officer was invited into the residence and observed,..
illegal gun sale
illegal drug sale
fake i.d purchase, and observed materials and equipment for making same
or evidence “making the case” the subject murdered someone, and the residence is the location where they were murdered, and they believe there is evidence,
They serve the warrant, and search for the items specified in the search warrant.
If they find the evidence, and the subject is home, they immediately ARREST them.
If they are not home, they immediately issue an arrest warrant for them, basically “arrest on sight” ALL POINTS BULLETIN, and seek the person to make the arrest.
Thats why officers go in “guns drawn” as when suspects hear “Police, Search Warrant!” they tend to flee, I once jumped off a balcony and got away, long story.
Granted, they weren’t searching my home for “Classified documents” but it SEEMS like the same thing would apply.
The Search warrant is supposed to be ‘looking’ for something which is evidence of a crime, like a murder crime scene with forensic evidence, or something which is evidence of a crime, because possesion OF the evidence is, in and of itself, a crime, such as drugs, materials for making fake i.d.’s, counterfeit stock certificates, or in this case Classified documents either improperly stored, or which the subject doesn’t have qualifications to have in their possesion.
They DO NOT,….NORMALLY execute the warrant, sieze materials listed IN the warrant, and then say, in effect “We’re not going to arrest you, now. We’re going to take these drugs to the lab and test them, or trace the serial #’s on these guns/stolen property, etc. and,…you know arrest you LATER.”
IF the search warrant yielded evidence of a crime, WHERE is the arrest?
And, if it did NOT yield evidence of a crime, …that IN AND OF ITSELF is ‘no biggie’ LE “come up empty” with search warrants, it happens all the time. What I mean is, so long as they had “P.C.” to believe there was evidence of a Crime, they aren’t “in trouble” just cause they didn’t find any.
They executed the search.
They confiscated materials, covered by the warrant. (Granted, FAR too broad, Magistrate should never have signed off), materials they allege either were being improperly stored (unsecure location) or that mere possesion of is a crime.
WHERE is the ARREST?
Dutchman: Good points, but, we must keep in mind that the FBI raid was entirely political and had nothing to do with suspected criminal activity. Therefore, the normal precedents and procedures of criminal law do not apply. Instead, we must look toward political prededent and procedure, which tell us that anything to be done will be done for maximum political effect.

My broader point is, I don’t think any arrest IS pending.
I think the raid, and specifically the seizing of the documents WAS the goal.
I think they believed IF they had been successful in seizing the documents that Sundance has outlined, that it would be “Game over” for PDJT.
I think they had absolute confidence they WOULD seize the documents, and with that victory, PDJT wouldn’t bother to make public the raid, because “Why bother?”
All this is conjecture, but that they fully expected PDJT to NOT announce the raid, is apperent from how obviously unprepared they were.
Everything coming after, including public scrutiny of the search warrant and affidavit, the patently rediculous “dog ate my homework” series of attempts to explain, the only conclusion to be drawn; THEY did not announce the raid, and they had good reason to believe PDJT would not.
The warrant and affidavit and Judge would therefore NOT be publicall scrutinised, therefore they didn’t need to be “solid”.
Given PDJT’s nature, WHAT could have caused them to misjudge so badly?
And the only rational explanation I can see, is they were fed ‘false’ info as to the exact location of the material.
And, falsely led to believe that IF they were able to get that material away from PDJT, that he would percieve he was defeated, and give up, hence would NOT make the raid public.
Anyone have an alternative explanation, I am all ears!

The correction is to only use secure, verfiable paper ballots, no preelection day harvesting of unverifiable ballots,
and
to triple count,
to verify / cross check the real count, with 3 sets of people
so that the voters know the real result, the real tally, of legal cast votes.
[ no black or silver, or blue or white or red box machines ]
Also, aside from counting the results, a simple operation; as they are recieved, count the # of BALLOTS recieved.
After the polls have closed, they publically disclosed this final tally on “the # of ballots recieved.”
That way, they can not “find” or add ballots after that point.
No ONE or two measures will yield transparently secure elections, it will require a “shotgun” approach.

This “Count the ballots” is his idea, one of many in a comprehensive approach.
Not everybody that votes votes for every position. That will eave cheat room in the less voted on races.
