It’s being pointed out that potential would-be IRS agents must have at least some knowledge of accounting before being able to join the IRS.
Given that the big accounting firms are having a real hard time recruiting personnel right now, it would seem unlikely that (under the present hiring rules) that they will quickly be able to recruit 8,700, far less 87,000 new agents.

I really don’t trust early voting. The 2000 election here in Florida was my first available experience in exercising my Civic Duty, and I was not at all excited by the advent of digital voting whatsoever that followed the Hanging Chad fiasco. I saw the HBO Documentary on the Machines, and I bet they wish they didn’t make it. I think in my State it comes down to the County Election Supervisors who make the contracts with the Vote Software pushers. For some reason there is a statute that says all elections must have an electronic tabulator.

I intended it to be “tongue in cheek”, but the more I used the phrase, the more sad I became. Your comment does a lot to remove some of the $ting ($200K+) from my experience of the last 2+years.
I took consolation in being “my own person”, and the occasional handshake from people I might divulge my “status” to..
I’m sure I haven’t suffered nearly as much as those who had to endure being disowned by their own families though. I’m not sure I could have “weathered that storm”.

I know I didn’t have to fight as hard as many to remain freeblood. I am retired, so risked no loss of employment.
I did get the social blowback to a fair extent because of being in a solid blue area, and from brainwashed family too. But it simply made me more determined.
Therefore, this seems a bit over the top to me personally. But it definitely applies to many who had it so much worse than I did.

I also am retired and was thus not as affected as many were due to ‘mandates’. I do know of many who were under enormous pressure to either ‘obey’ or suffer loss. Some suffered losses to various degrees. The above quote is primarily for them and others in similar ‘mandate’ predicaments. I am no ‘hero’ or feel ‘made of the stuff of the greatest….’ but I know of those who fall under those categories.

I have two daughters in law that also held fast and refused to get the vax.
They are RNs and were suspended for several months each.
They were finally “allowed” back to work but must be tested weekly.
One of them is now expecting my sons and hers first child.
This is one of the reasons she held out , she believed the vax would be damaging to her chances of having a healthy baby.
The stats now trickling in about the damage this joke of a so called vax has done to the health of those who accepted it are going to be horrendous.

I don’t feel like a hero for not taking the experimental injection.
I just wanted to live, and that meant not taking an experimental injection with no long term safety data and with full liability protection for the manufacturer.
Also, I called my health insurance company, and was told that if I took the experimental injection and was injured by it, I wasn’t covered.
So, in case of injury, I would have to pay all medical costs out of pocket, which I couldn’t do.
So, no injection for that reason as well.
It was just being prudent.
I’m still amazed by how many people took it, with all the obvious risks involved.

The way to overcome is to have the eligible voter numbers in each of the areas that they cheat. They probably do not have enough votes even if they give the chosen one 100% of the vote which we know is bs. They can do this with SS and census checks and dmv info.

Rove is a tool, but you have to admit Trump does not always pick the best candidates. Dr. Oz is one example. There was also some candidate in NE who lost his primary, but he had all kinds of issues. The RNC is actively involved in getting Democrats re-elected. Walker is not the perfect candidate but he is mountains better than the communist Warnock.

Florida happens to be the Envy of every other state in this country, and I am so grateful that I have resided in this state for well over 45 years.I actually have never felt more freer and safer. I’m a very old native Floridian. I voted for DeSantis and will do so again if given the opportunity – for Governor. He has been good for Florida and, in my opinion, will continue to do so. As with any politician, he needs to be monitored carefully and called out when he strays from what the citizens demand.
As for a presidential candidate, I cannot support him. When he was in congress, he was not a reliable vote for MAGA issues. Now, he is being groomed by the private Republican National Committee for a possible presidential run due to his immense popularity. We simply don’t need another GOP-elite politician in the White House. If he takes the GOP money necessary for a campaign, he will be beholding to them for the duration of his tenure. Not an acceptable situation.
For Governor, I’m all for him. For President, we need Donald Trump or someone who truly understands the ideals espoused by him.
It’s hard to hear negative comments about our Governor, and I certainly don’t condone a lot of them. Here’s hoping all Florida citizens remain staunch supporters of what he has accomplished as well as his potential for doing even more for our state.

I can, at the same time, be crestfallen that this was a time of choosing for him; and, in a time where I am looking for someone who can lead in the AF/MAGA movement…he seems to be aligning with the wrong people.

Sad thing is, he is just doing normal Governor things, like looking out for the best interest of Floridians. That is somehow an oddity.
