The first article referenced links to video accusing the Mayor of Odessa of being a crook and selling foreign aid in the black market. All in all, both articles paint a stark picture of corruption at the top.
These articles have been out for a few days. I thought if they were Russian propaganda, something would be said by now. All I hear are crickets.
If Ukraine is heading toward defeat, why are we sending them $40 billion in aid? It is not our war, it was never our war.
The money laundering continues in plain view. Do they even notice the US public is not believing them this time?
The money is going to be parked in various government controlled “NGOs” to continue the fight against the common sense people of the USA. FJB will lose the midterms but the “NGOs” will have billions. That will last them some time.
As a side note, I’ve been digging into the history of the eurodollar. To me the eurodollar’s main strength seems to be the implied ability of mercantilist countries to hold current account surpluses in a currency other than their own. That may well squash their exchange rate and lower the volume of currency in circulation in their home country. Their currency is weaker and inflation pressures are lower.
I expect FJB’s team are trying to organize a relief rally into the midterms. Hence the stock market needs a monkeyhammer job right now. As Sundance has noted many times, once we get past June, the year over year inflation comparables should start to lower… FJB’s team can then campaign on lowering the inflation rate and get support from a relief rally. For the relief rally, all the media needs to do is take the rate increases off the table.

They recently ran a pilot program for Universal Basic Income- in several communities in Ontario, Canada. After several months it was canceled. It was unsustainable due to the high cost…Many recipients filed a legal action against the govt. in an attempt to have the program reinstated. The program was NOT reinstated.
Social Services Minister, Lisa McLeod stated that the program failed to help ppl become independent contributors to the economy.
There was a European country that tried it and ended it as a failure also.
But, that is the beauty of America. States can be laboratories of experimentation to see what works or doesn’t (without taking down the entire country in the process).
I know what it will be. $1,000 a month for every illegal. Our homeless citizens have no address to send money to, but alas, many homeless have mental health and drug problems. Just think if they spent some of this printed money on mental hospitals and care facilities to help get people off the street and back on their feet.
Solid point though that would allow the continuance of printing money out of nothing.
And how much does the non-profit get for administrative services? And who runs the non-profit and how were they selected? And how were the recipients chosen? And what is the supposed end goal of the program and how will they determine if the goal was met? And will the taxpayers be on the hook for the program if it continues after the first year? (C’mon man, it’s a government program. Of course, it’s gonna continue!)
So many questions and so few answers, I suspect!
Having watched these kinds of schemes play out over the past decade in Seattle, I can pretty easily predict the future of this program as well…
A handful of people who have “connections” will be very well paid to “oversee” the funds, there will be no accountability for how the funds are spent, the people who get the money will not use it to improve their situations at all, and will, in fact, complain that it isn’t enough. At the end of the trial period, the city will announce that it was a huge success and they will therefore be expanding it, at taxpayer expense. And if anyone questions any of that, they are a racist who hates poor people!

Well, I think I’m done with Tucker Carlson. That is the last show on FOX I watch since Hannity continuous blabbering is a turn off and Laura Ingram is just too into herself.
Tucker did discuss important issues on occasion and is quite entertaining, but I think he just dabbles in the real issues facing our country. I gave him two days to mention the 2000 MULES documentary and was disappointed once again last night. That told me a lot about Tucker and, of course, FOX.
So after many years of wall to wall FOX watching I whittled it down to Tucker because of their non coverage of important issues. Now Tucker is dead to me. I find other sources for Fair & Balanced coverage of important issues readily available.

I was reading an article yesterday that talked about tanking numbers for CNN and MSNBC. Included in the article was the tidbit that FOX numbers have dropped too by 14%. We can do better. Sadly I can’t do better because my former Dem mother is hooked on Fox whilst I hide in the office. (big sigh)

Another great article by Emerald. Interesting comment about Bill Barr’s secret meetings with Murdoch. Barr has still been getting face time on Fox recently. He even appeared on Gutfeld’s show. Despite the bravado on that show Barr wasn’t asked one tough question.
Gutfeld is going downhill. We turned it off immediately when barr appeared and have only watched it a few time since.
Barr is getting too much face time and air time and interview time… no more $$$$$$ via book deals for bureaucratic tic’s who ignore their obligation to America.

Well no high horse here CJ. Tucker did give Englebrecht time on his show to overview some of the corruption they found. Just found it odd that the documentary was being released that week and it was not even mentioned or maybe not allowed to be mentioned. Plenty of people come on FOX shows hawking their books, no problem. Bill Barr comes to mind.
To me there are probably just a few really big stories that impact us that should definitely be covered by creditable news organizations. The potential of Trump colluding with Russia to win the 2016 election was a big story and was covered wall to wall throughout the Muller investigation, as it should have been.
Then you get the possibility/probability that an election coup occurred in 2020 to steal a presidential election that has had a horrible effect on our country and the news media including FOX is virtually silent. Most say it’s a Big Lie that there was any widespread election fraud.” The most secure election ever”
So I watch Tucker, as I said, because he does cover interesting topics and is entertaining. Maybe he was not allowed to mention the name of the documentary which means he is being controlled by FOX. I didn’t expect Tucker to advocate or promote the documentary just acknowledge that it was coming out. Like they do with books.
So in either case FOX lawyers and/or Tucker chose to not even mentioned it’s existence is not a good thing. I know media and FOX have become information sources that give us the news slant they want us to get.
Anyway, that’s my take. I’m sure many will disagree, but no high horse Holier than thou attitude, just my opinion.

I served in the Army in the late 1970s, first under Ford and then Carter. Things were much worse then. Double-digit inflation, double-digit unemployment, double-digit interest rates. It didn’t actually start getting better until a couple of years into Reagan’s presidency.
I got out of the Army in 1978. Went back in in 1982. The difference was like day and night. We actually had money to repair our vehicles and our gear was no longer falling apart.

TPTB recognized that WWII came from economic conditions following WWI, AFA Germany was concerned. NATO was a good idea AT THE TIME. We are headed for a recession, then probably depression…which will ripple all over the planet.
Well, when Europe was a market for our products it made sense. Our trade turned negative around 1960 and by 1971 we ran out of gold because mainly our trade deficits with Europe. The US became the target market for the rest of the world.
If our trade with Europe is negative, why exactly are we trying to save it? NATO was an adventure that was to ensure we would not have to go back and that has turned out to be a total failure.

Who is putting the small family farms out of business good for?
The people who want their land, and who will do anything to get it.
Lived in a small county in the midwest 2003 – 2019. Farms are being consolidated into corporations all over rural America. It’s a natural process…old farm folks die, many have kids who left for careers and have no interest in farming. Other farmers buy the land. It has become common for the former ordinary farmer with 180 acres to now farm 3K acres or more. And there’s very little “farm work” available for ordinary laborers. Everything is mechanized and managed from grain to livestock. Working on farm equipment (of all types) now requires a technician.
My family’s farm started with 160 acres in the 1850s. Now it’s 20 sections, plus a lease on another 8. Farming is tough, and we do it but ranching is our preference.
Not a minutes rest, I am sure, but rewarding like nothing else!
Out in the pastures and woods is where I prefer to be! Granted I don’t live on the family farm anymore and moved south to start my own small operation. However I could see myself back up there when guys like my uncle hang it up and retire.

I noted that I did not have a link nor done confirming research. I have looked at the Federal Reserve H6 reports which show both the M1 and M2 figures over time. In March, 2020 the M2 supply (which is the total) was $15,989.9 (in billions). In March, 2022 the M2 supply was $21,809.7 (in billions). The increase in the money supply was $5,819.8 (in billions), or a 36.4% increase. In other words, that 40% isn’t far off. Over 36% of the current money supply has been created in the last two years. And the House just passed a bill to create $40B more and send to Ukraine.

I can’t believe the amount of places hiring, it’s everywhere and every industry. Hard to ramp up when no one will show up to work. A plastics manufacturer by me has a sign up looking for workers, a month ago starting pay was $15, now it’s $17.50.
Sadly the discussions I have with much younger associates, who manage and direct businesses, also lament the quality of the people they have to hire as well. Good people willing to make decisions, take responsibility and apply some form of logic are at a premium as well. The last point is one of the reasons for so much job hopping … good people can improve the income via job hopping.
Even $7-18 in this economy is crap wages unless or until something gets better. Young adults with families are really suffering. It’s awful.
This is a repeat of 2009-2016, when entry level jobs that are normally “part time jobs” held by the 18-24 year group have been elevated to be primary sources of income – the new professional class of “skilled” labor. People are competing with illegal immigrants who see $7-18/hour as a fortune when coupled with; Obama Phones, medicaid, free social services, subsidized hand-outs from churches or pantries, free apartments and US Government Issued Debit cards.

What I have in mind is just a short piece, an observation on the phenomenon that so many people seem to be getting the covid virus, even for a second time, despite being “vaccinated”, and that was not what they were led to believe would happen.
Also that it is very strange that so many well-known people who spoke in favor of the vaccine, instead of becoming angry that they were misled, even lied to about the vaccine, are all reciting some version of the Pfizer prayer, that they are thankful that shot they took doesn’t work at all.

The whole hearing was very enlightening; it’s over 1 hr 50 min in length and had reporter Sharyl Attkisson and a few other witnesses too. The entire hearing was on Facebook and don’t think sharing FB links will work for those not using that platform, so if the entire hearing shows up on another platform hope someone can share the full hearing.
At the least, since it is being held by Republican representatives so not much will happen since the Democrats have the majority, as each of the witnesses point out, this will give the Republicans a place to start when they next get in power.
