Last night I received official recognition from the Ontario Party that I was the candidates for my riding.
An email was sent out to our constituents introducing my candidacy. I have never been on society media, but I am using Twitter as a way to gain name recognition.

Anyone wanting to help my campaign can do so in a couple of ways. Prayers. We as candidates meet every Sunday evening for prayer. Please join our campaign in prayer that God would intercede.
Another way is to research and find key issues that Doug Ford is doing wrong in Ontario and providing bullet point lists of cited info that I can use in debates.
I’m currently work eleven hour days, and trying to campaign. I’m struggling with time.

[NEW YORK – Apr. 13, 2022] Project Veritas announced today that Apple and Google came forward and provided documents showing that President Biden’s Department of Justice issued nine secret subpoenas to them for multiple Project Veritas journalists’ private information.
The subpoenas and warrants even extended to the journalists’ security detail.
In addition to compelling Apple and Google not to disclose that the constitutionally-protected information of journalists was being surveilled by the highest levels of our government, the Department of Justice sought payment information, MAC addresses, browsing history and other personal information from multiple employees of Project Veritas.
The shocking revelation from Apple and Google comes on the heels of last month’s news. Microsoft Corporation was similarly compelled by the Department of Justice which filed a series of secret warrants, orders, and a subpoena to surreptitiously collect privileged and constitutionally-protected communications and contacts of eight Project Veritas journalists.
In a statement, the ACLU said they were “deeply troubled” by the “secret electronic surveillance” conducted by the Department of Justice.
Paul Calli, an attorney for Project Veritas, pointed out that the actions from the government were disproportionate, in addition to arguing the DOJ violated the Privacy Protection Act, the First and Fourth Amendments, and Common Law Reporter’s Privilege.
“By no reasonable measure can the wholesale seizure of newsgathering materials, attorney-client privileged communications, and irrelevant personal information be considered a proportional response to an alleged low-grade larceny, much less to a non-crime,” said Calli in Project Veritas’ motion filed in response to the disclosures from Microsoft.
The DOJ’s spying campaign represents the latest example of governmental misconduct in, what appears to be, a politically motivated investigation. President Biden’s Department of Justice has placed its crosshairs squarely on Project Veritas’ newsgathering activities pertaining to apparent allegations against then-candidate, Joe Biden, which were made by his daughter, Ashley Biden, in her diary.
“The government knows the truth: Project Veritas engaged in journalism protected by the First Amendment,” said Project Veritas founder and CEO, James O’Keefe, echoing a line from Veritas’ most recent court filing.
“As the Reporters Committee has requested of Federal Judge Analisa Torres, it is time for the DOJ’s affidavits, by which they obtained these unjustified subpoenas, be unsealed,” O’Keefe added.

Musk’s best and final offer was to pay $54.20 per share for 100% of Twitter, and said that if his offer was not accepted he’d have to reconsider his position as a shareholder, according to an SEC filing.
He wrote in the filing that he’d want to “transform” the social media platform as a private company.
“I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy,” Musk wrote. “However, since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form.”
Musk said the takeover attempt is “not a threat, it’s simply not a good investment without the changes that need to be made.”

I like the idea on enlisting the pro-free speech public in the takeover. I’m just not sure how many of us have extra money to buy enough shares to be entitled to a vote, much less be able to allow Musk the proxy on it. With inflation the way it is, money is tight for most people; even more so for conservatives that aren’t on any kind of welfare program (and I’m sure the likelihood of that becoming more common is sure to come the way things are going – one can only avoid it for so long before it becomes a matter of keeping your family alive or starving to death, which may come sooner rather than later at this rate).
Musk’s offer is made in good faith and public. Twitter must demonstrate to its shareholders that it is reviewing the offer in a fiduciary capacity. If Twitter rejects, and Musk bails, the stock will drop in price (he owns 73 + million shares) and watch the lawsuits against Twitter ensue.

I grew up with brothers and never had a sister. When my Granddaughter was born and I watched her grow up it was all new to me. She loved her dolls, she cared for them, she would put them in a stroller and walk them, she naturally nurtured them totally different than my Grandson! The UK and US have been pumping Naval and Coastal Defense equipment into the Ukraine for well over 6 years.
There are Truck Mounted Versions of both the US Harpoon (RGM-84A and derivatives, see Danish Coastal Defense Systems) and the EXOCET MM-38 and MM-40 versions). Both can be guided to targets by drone mounted sensors.
The UK had “offered” to include EXOCET missiles in their recent aid package.

This morning Elon Musk sent Twitter’s Board an offer to buy the entire company for $40B+. As I wrote last week, anything that explicitly has the aim of bringing more free speech to the internet for more people is a good thing.
Twitter has legacy problems that Gab doesn’t. They are fully dependent on third-party infrastructure. We are not. We “built our own,” everything. Hosting, email services, analytics tools, ecommerce, payment processing, all of it. We built it all.
You also have to consider that bringing free speech to Twitter isn’t as simple as buying it. Apple and Google do not allow free speech, so if you stop the censorship they will kick Twitter from both app stores. We already solved that problem and overcame it.
Twitter operates in countries where mass censorship is required by law. They have offices in these countries. They have no choice but to comply with the censorship demands of those countries or risk being shut down, fines, etc.
We understand this very well and have dealt with it, telling those countries to get lost.
Then there is the problem of Twitter’s community itself. It skews massively left and thus anti-free speech. If you allow free speech on Twitter again, those people are absolutely going to leave because their fragile worldview can’t handle the reality that free speech brings.
Another problem Twitter has that we don’t: total dependency on ad dollars. Gab’s business model is not 100% dependent on advertising. We have several other revenue streams including GabPRO, the Gab Shop, and GabPay our payment processor.
As a good friend pointed out rightfully to me this morning: “I highly doubt they will accept his offer. They would rather shares go to zero than hand over narrative control. If they do accept they will sabotage internally and to whatever degree he makes good changes Twitter will get the Gab treatment from the globohomo.”
In light of these truths, I’d like to offer Elon a counter offer to his very expensive and overpriced Twitter deal.

I founded Gab in 2016 because I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning constitutional federal republic.
However, since founding Gab I realized that in order to provide a free speech platform you must also have free speech internet infrastructure. Gab has since transformed from merely a social network into a free speech internet infrastructure company. We built our own servers, our own email services, our own payment processor, and so much more not because we wanted to, but because we had no choice if we were going to continue to exist.
What we are missing at the moment is an ISP. I fear that the next big leap of censorship is at the ISP level, with ISP’s blocking access to Gab.com. You solve that problem with Starlink. Together we can build infrastructure for a free speech internet.
I am willing to offer you a Board seat along with equity in the company in exchange for you selling your Twitter position and investing $2B into Gab. My offer is my best and final offer.

I posted this in response to the article on Biden’s poll numbers, but it is important enough to bear repeating. GP currently has a summary running (thanks to the Saker) of Dr. Philip Karber’s analysis in 2018 of the severe disadvantage at which the US military would find itself in a ground war with Russia. Dr. Karber’s analysis of the EW component is even more critical today than it was four years ago. In a word, the Russians would annihilate any force that we put into the field, and do so with relative ease.
So, it looks like NATO will fight to the last Ukrainian (or at least to the last Ukrainian who doesn’t seek refuge in the West) because the polling for leaders who lose wars tends to get really, really bad
So why aren’t the Russians doing this to the Ukrainians?
They are. Russia achieved total air superiority in the first hours of the war, isolating the Ukrainian forces in place. Ah, but the Ukrainians spent eight years supplying underground bunkers to sustain a force in place. Mariupol offers a good example of this kind of warfare– it’s block by block, indeed, apartment building by apartment building. The only way Russia can expedite matters is to blow everything up, but they want the infrastructure intact because they don’t have the financial resources to rebuild it.
Realistically, NATO’s only option is long-term, resistance style warfare in whatever territory the Russians end up occupying. Put a force in the field and, as Dr. Karber concluded four long years ago, the Russians would wipe it out.
I think Dr Karber has listened to too much Russian propoganda about how good their forces are.
NATO’s modern weapons have been making mincemeat out of his armoured forces, and his air and sea forces are also suffering.
If NATO did put a force on the ground it would also supply air cover as well as anti-aircraft systems.
