Well over 90% of gubmint employees are incompetent (I speak from personal experience). Well over 50% of private sector employees are incompetent (again, I speak from personal experience). The problem is that people in gubmint are so arrogant and confident of their ability, they do not recognize their own incompetence. They think they are the bees knees. They know it all and can do it all. NOT! I would not have them sweep out my garage.
A good friend of mine worked as meat processing plant inspector for fed.gov and I had to ask him to STOP sharing with me stories of incompetence, $150K / year no-show jobs, all-day internet surfing / porn watching, expense report abuse, unnecessary travel to nice places going first class all the way, etc., etc., etc., as it INFURIATED me!
A much better response would have been to take notes after each conversation and report to the agencies IG or even better to law enforcement and/or the press. The days of silent suffering and complaining on line to no effect need to be over.

They have a distorted vision of REALITY, fundamentally different FROM reality.
And yes, a part of it is their view of their capabilities, intelligence, etc.

I’ll cut the “Right” some slack on this…very few outside the teachers knew exactly what was being taught….kids are to do homework on their own without the help of parents.
The one positive aspect of the fake pandemic was the ability of parents to see the curriculum of their kids via zoom and to see what was being taught and shoved down our kids throats.
The left, while crafty, evil and cunning…never factored this and the incredible pushback from parents into their grand plan. This was the first tipoff as to the fraud that was being perpetuated upon the public.
When your children are born, THEY become your primary responsibility. No slack to the generation who, writ large, farmed out their children to indoctrinators and brainwashers and didn’t ever bother checking up on what was being taught. No other vigilance, no other responsibility, is more tantamount.
I applaud the individuals who saw through this since the 60s. I heartily condemn every parent who didn’t and now wants to complain about the messed-up Millennials.

My kids were all educated in suburban public schools and are all doing well post college. That being said, if I had elementary or high school age kids in this day and age I would be definitely looking at all alternatives other than public.
All levels of education have been corrupted.
A major aspect, in seperating Parents from their kids learning, that I observed first hand, was introduction of “New Math”.
It introduced the concept of using systems other than our “base 10” system, such as “base 8”; you count from -0- to 7, and then go to 10, which is 1 in the 8 column, and 0 in the 1 column.
The rationalisation for this cock-a-mamie system was that COMPUTERS are the FUTURE, and in order to work with computers, kids will need to learn to work in different ‘base’ systems.
The rationale was hogwash; computers work in the binary system of base 2, and only computer programers, need to know “base 2”; the vast majority of those “working on computers” do NOT do programming, and don’t need to know base 2.
And, even they don’t need to know how to do addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in base 8, or 6.
The only “benefit” this had, was parents, totally bumfuzzled by this bullshit, were no longet able to help their kids with the homework.
I remember when they “introduced” this “New Math”, and my Dad, who studied engineering in College, including Trig and Calculus, was totally baffled by this “New Math” crap they were teaching me.
Still remember how to “do it”, but have yet to encounter any situation in life where I needed to calculate anything in “base 8”.

Indeed, much like the steal of November 3, parents (myself included) were checked out on their children’s public school education. It is not only the subject matter CRT and gender fluidity that is shocking as parents have gotten more involved during the pandemic, but the students shocking lack of proficiency in reading and math.
Exactly what is being taught has never been more important than it is today. Kids are being set up to fail.

I believe these marks are tracked through social media, friended by behavioral influencers that play on their vulnerabilities and provide much needed false praise. Groomed.

AFAIK, The Common Core took the government tracking of students (the kind of tests we took in school, where they’d get data to compare fourth graders in one area with fourth graders elsewhere) to a new level- the students are tracked BY NAME. The data is made available to outside entities.
People bought the cover story that it was only “higher standards”, and not a curriculum. Most have no idea about the corporate data mining.
A red flag for me, as a teacher, was when there was the push to have the students (elementary) call the teachers by their first names. I declined to participate. When a kiddo would ask, ‘What’s your real name?’ I would answer, ‘Mrs. Packrat ‘. Then would come the ….well, all the other teachers let us call them by their first names and besides, you’re not the boss of me. Said I didn’t care, I wasn’t all the other teachers, and, yes, I was the boss. This was about the time I swapped over to private Christian school. Night and day difference in students, parents and teachers.

I spent a lot of time commenting at The Hill. Yes, the democrat drones were getting their asses kicked in the comments in increasing numbers. I was blocked, put in time out and deleted as spam many times. I frequently included links to all the sites which aggregated the overwhelming evidence of the stolen election, the Biden / Hunter laptop stories and it drove them nuts (albeit a short drive to begin with).

Chester County judge tosses 5 members of West Chester school board over masks

A monthslong dispute over masks in a Chester County school district culminated Tuesday in a judge ordering all five Democrats on the school board to be immediately removed from office.
The order stemmed from a petition a parent in the West Chester Area School District filed in February, asking the Chester County Court of Common Pleas to remove the school board members on the grounds that they had voted in August 2021 to make masks mandatory in the district’s schools.
