A Manufactured World Crisis?
Few people today ask the most important question about the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Many people want America to stay out of the fight, but even they don’t ask the vital question. Why does the world face a crisis today? Why has a border dispute between Russia and Ukraine escalated to the point where people fear nuclear war?
The answer is simple. America, under the “leadership” of brain-dead Biden and the forces controlling him, has done this and, by doing so, brought the world to the brink of disaster. As always, the great Dr. Ron Paul gets it right: “Three weeks into this terrible war, the US is not pursuing talks with Russia.” As Antiwar.com recently reported, instead of supporting negotiations between Ukraine and Russia that could lead to a ceasefire and an end to the bloodshed, the US government is actually escalating the situation which can only increase the bloodshed.
The constant flow of US and allied weapons into Ukraine and talk of supporting an extended insurgency does not seem designed to give Ukraine a victory on the battlefield but rather to hand Russia what Secretary of State Blinken called ‘a strategic defeat.’
It sounds an awful lot like the Biden Administration intends to fight Russia down to the last Ukrainian. The only solution for the US is to get out. Let the Russians and Ukrainians reach an agreement. That means no NATO for Ukraine and no US missiles on Russia’s borders? So what! End the war then end NATO.”
Let’s look at an analogy that will help us understand Dr. Paul’s point.

Unlike what has just happened, the Ukrainian attack did not result in US sanctions on Ukraine. There were no meetings of the UN to condemn Ukrainian aggression. There was no talk of world war. Disorders of sexuality come in a variety of forms. They are gradually accepted into society by means of steady pressure through media, particularly movies and television shows, where characters with some of these disorders are depicted as likeable and sympathetic so that they are perceived normally and positively. The audience becomes accustomed to seeing the disorder in a positive light and then develops a new opinion about the disorder. This is a process which is like brainwashing. When public sentiment about a disorder becomes sufficiently favorable, normalization of the disorder occurs. Society creates pressure on everyone to accept previously unacceptable practices; and now we are challenged with ideas like there being no exact definition of a woman, there are numerous sexes and institutions must change prior definitions to fit the ever changing norms.
This is a slippery slope which is rapidly getting steeper. For example, there is growing pressure to “understand” pedophilia and to create sympathy for it. Most people are repulsed by pedophilia but the public is being softened up to eventually adopt the position of “who am I to judge?”. This gradual pressure previously was applied to homosexuality and is how it slowly changed from being considered a disorder to being commonly accepted and is why the American Psychiatric Association (“APA”) bowed to pressure to remove it from its list of mental disorders. Homosexuality has moved beyond mere tolerance and is now considered to be something that is commended and a source of pride, but no authority, such as the APA, can show that it is not a mental disorder. The APA’s definitions of mental disorders cannot be taken as always reliable and true since it functions as a weathervane concerning mental disorders and sexual deviancy. This is because science surrounding mental disorders is a “soft science” that deals with what beliefs are considered appropriate and inappropriate based on how they affect one’s mood and one’s satisfaction with daily functions. Therefore, such science is malleable and can be changed with sufficient pressure to meet public opinion of the day.
People ought to pray and take care that deviant disorders such as bestiality and pedophilia will not be gradually accepted by the public and removed from the APA’s list of mental disorders. That this is a real possibility is evidenced by the fact that transsexuality is now becoming accepted and celebrated and children are being taught in public schools that they can change their sex with surgery and hormone therapy. This was unthinkable in recent history.
The progression of the formerly unthinkable into current reality makes it relevant to reflect as to how homosexuality was reclassified from being a mental disorder under the APA to being an acceptable behavior. At one time, homosexuality was unacceptable in the same way that pedophilia remains unacceptable now. Yet both are sexual desires. Individuals in both categories cannot help how they feel and many claim that they were simply “born this way.” But pedophiles will argue that both categories of individuals have the same basic sexual impulses that happen to manifest in different ways and that neither type of manifestation is inherently morally wrong from the perspective of their emotions; nevertheless, the pedophile is the victim of unfair value judgment by a society that is oppressing them and denying who they are. They will further argue that the only fundamental differences between the two categories is the age of partner they desire and the ability of that underage partner to give consent; however, there is current advocacy for children to be able to consent to sexual relations with adults and this is an effort to transform public opinion from long-held and strong moral beliefs. If this is successful, the “soft” science will be pressured to conform to the new beliefs.
Instead of people hopelessly submitting to further degradation of societal norms and beliefs, they ought to determine what is sexual deviancy according to long-standing established principles that are found in Biblical scripture which has withstood millennia and the deep scrutiny of the best scholars of history because those principles are accurate and trustworthy. Scripture is authoritative and will ground people in what is correct behavior, unlike the shifting sands of public feeling. Those who decry scriptural principles as restrictive and judgmental often include the same people who, ironically, are beginning to decry the slide into unimaginable degeneracy; yet they still resist the foundational wisdom of those principles. Such people will eventually find it impossible to navigate a middle course, and they will inevitably flounder until they acknowledge the sheer futility of believing that human judgment can supply an adequate compass to navigate cultural norms.
If such individuals will suspend cultural prejudice and intellectual doubt long enough to turn to scriptural guidance contained in the Bible they will find eternal truth in which to ground their belief system, and then they will not be subject to shifting norms that have led to our current predicament in which previously inconceivable deviancy is directly affecting our children and their future. These topics are now such hot-button issues that it can cause hysteria among some to even question the prevailing narratives. It cannot be denied, however, that increasing forms of deviancy will progress into the mainstream following the same course as homosexuality did and that these evolving issues deserve to be scrutinized as well as the manner in which homosexuality became mainstream over time. Even though we might feel emotional resistance, including hostility and even fear, over the need to examine homosexuality as the impetus for what followed afterward and what we are presently being conditioned to accept as further, unacceptable decline of normality, it is necessary to engage in this arduous and painful reflection because we are heading toward a reality from which it will be nearly impossible to recover. That scrutiny might be offensive to some is not a sufficient excuse to look away, even if it could affect your own identity or the opinion of someone you care about.
It requires a brave individual to look into the abyss and squarely face a problem without fear of the facts and of others’ opinions and to diagnose a problem, especially when the damage has become so deep as to cause many others to give up hope. But refusing to address the problem will not cause it to disappear but will only allow it to further metastasize and destroy the hopes of our children and their future. It also takes a humble person who can recognize that we are all flawed creatures while evaluating how to proceed with such an enormous challenge so that we do not create more problems with people who disagree strongly concerning this overall subject and who might sometimes violently oppose those even willing to discuss it.
