Here is a funny story that really happened about 30 yrs ago. A friend of mine worked at a large hospital in Downtown Seattle. During certain times of the year, Pigeons by the 1000s would be everywhere around this place leaving cars covered with droppings. The hospital administrator asked my friend if he could do anything about all these Pigeons? He was maybe a little to fast to react and had his night shift security employees mix old fashioned Decon with bird seed and put it up on the roof. By the next morning there were 1000s of dead Pigeons covering every part of the place. They had employees outside for hours running around trying to catch dying Pigeons that were falling from the sky with large plastic garbage bags. It did make a small dent in the Pigeon population but he was quick to discontinue the birdseed.
Abatement falconry also helps and there is no possibility of poisoning a person or other unintended species.

Sundance posted Oliver Stone’s documentary “Ukraine on Fire” yesterday and if you go to 1:11:00 or thereabouts, Stone interviews Putin about Ukraine and NATO . Putin is quite well spoken and intelligent about Russia’s own self interest , not crazed at all,especially in the context of Ukraine’s historical connections to Russia in the eastern provinces and the harbour of Sevastopol on the Black Sea. Putin also gives his perspective on the US leadership.
The whole documentary is great, but it is especially revealing to understand the differences in east and west Ukraine and the atrocities committed by Ukraine during WWII by nationalist Ukraines against Ukraine Jewish citizens.Really, shocking and sad.
Of course, Stone has a reporting bias but this documentary is a good place to start understanding today’s conflict.
In any case, the turmoil in that country around 2013 during the Ukrainian elections has the fingerprints of our own CIA on it. Now the intel agencies are obviously doing similar things here in our own country, with Antifa, Ray Epps type instigators planted in our own peaceful protest, Dominion corrupted elections.
