And I just felt that this showed a detachment from reality that was stunning to me. He was willing to accept anything no matter how fanciful as long as it didn’t make him a loser in the election.”
When asked what he would say to Trump supporters, Barr said, “I say the truth is important, and the truth is he lost the election.”

So Trumps detachment from reality was that he didn’t agree with Barry version of reality and became visibly upset.
A good question, that didn’t get asked, is with all the evidence of vote fraud right after the election and the growing evidence of fraud with audits of AZ, WI, etc, don’t you think the DOJ shouldn’t have investigated ? And, with the new information coming out do you still believe that Trump did not have a point that the election was quite possibly stolen.
One last question. Do you think our current elections are safe, accurate and has no widespread fraud and corruption other than a few dead people vote ?

And another question Mr. Barr. Do you think it was unlawful and unreasonable for people who truly believed that there was significant evidence in certain states to rally and protest the election certification? Was the demand that the certification process be delayed for 10 days to allow certain states to investigate any election fraud and audit the vote count for recertification of their electors? Is that unconstitutional?
Oh, and since your DOJ did not take all the evidence of election fraud serious enough to investigate and since you told state AG’s not to investigate, did that contribute to the frustration and passion of those that was in Washington on Jan 6 ?

Some states are still requesting and being approved for pandemic SNAP augmentation from USDA. For some recipients it amounts to a surplus to their normal household allotment maximum, for others it brings their benefit up to the allowed household maximum. People have long lied to get benefits of all sorts and fraud is rampant and has always been rampant. The numbers are what change. Back when I was young in the 60’s the ‘welfare Cadillac’ was the common pejorative term used.
What I noticed personally as a retired person on fixed income with a tiny allowed benefit due to income being relatively high for such benefits, was that the pandemic surplus benefit has greatly increased it, like on the order of 3 to 4 times the normal benefit.
The state also for some reason adjusted the base benefit up substantially and I’m at a loss as to why. I was expecting perhaps 15-20 bucks a month, for me 3 or 4 days of groceries since I eat on about five bucks a day even now, but it’s been quite the windfall so I’m taking it and stocking up; built a nice outside pantry building from recycled materials to store everything.
Times are about to get really hard IMO. Expect it. I expect benefits to go away at any moment too. Health is wealth. Stay healthy and the Lord will watch over us.

Like CONgress, I guess they let a few real ones in to pacify the rabble. They would never allow enough in to make a difference. This archbishop is important to stay at his post. If he weren’t so integral to the truth and the ones lucky enough to be in his flock, the proper course would be resignation to show disdain for the current leadership. But he is very important where he is and is much needed as a foil against the evil ones.
