When I was in first grade, one of my very first accomplishments coming out of Kindergarten was to craft a very colorful and elaborate portrait of one Han Solo and his trusty galactic sidekick Chewbacca covering the entire surface of my assigned wooden desk. Crayola Crayon was the medium of choice… and it was beautiful, if I don’t say so myself.
To my dismay, my teacher was aghast at the product of my free-flowing artistic expression (though classmates were suitably impressed, I might add). For my effort, I was forced to spend an entire recess scrubbing the desk clean of my masterpiece. It was hard to let it go, to be honest.
I feel like maybe my skills would have been more appreciated if only I were born several decades later.

No enemy military this close to his border or in this case, no NATO on his border so a commitment from Ukraine they won’t join the EU or NATO.
He also will want Crimea and possibly the two eastern provinces of Ukraine who are predominantly Russian people in order to save face back home.
Ukraine gets peace and most likely because they now know who is NOT their friends but their abusers and users, they economically work more closely going forward with Russia and China.
In essence, Zelensky and Putin cut out the US and EU and do their own deal.
This seems like the most logical Occam’s Razor outcome.

Retired Magistrate here: Just got back from the local Kroger Store here in Central Ohio. Big gaps in a lot of the shelves on numerous products. However, as we were checking out the manager made an announcement that none of the employees had to wear masks anymore. We were being checked out my several nice young men and they shouted, smiled and ripped off their masks.
Everywhere we looked we saw happy employees saying it was good to see their fellow workers faces again. Of course some people in the store still looked like scared rabbits and will probably be wearing masks until they die. Still, it was good to see some semblance of freedom come back to the Kroger store.
I’m happy for the young people, who had to bear the brunt of these crimes against humanity.
