I just had to post this – it’s so powerful and positive. A great morale booster to start the new week:
I hope you are right and I’m wrong below. These crowd protests will likely continue but the more militant strategies seem to be coming to and end.
I hope so, too. I’m a firm believer in positive thinking. It’s what brings positive results. Far more powerful than many realize. Plus I think there’s a lot going on we don’t know about. I think that the numbers of people increasing over time and the very upbeat energy continuing are very good signs.
It really is hard to say.
I was literally at ground zero yesterday ( twice)
Earlier in the morning the wife and I and our Bichon strolled down the Pacific Hwy and on to the U.S. border.
The roads were closed, but the RCMP had a subdued presence.
We happened upon a few patriotic Americans that had parked somewhere South of the border, and walked up.
They brought up pastries and coffee and a small group of us sat on or around plastic barriers right at the border.
We had a terrific and very uplifting visit.
We returned home did a few chores and took our older grandson to the park and enjoyed our FREEDOM!
Later in the afternoon the Bichon and I returned to the border..the mood was tense.
I took the same walk down the Pacific Hwy ( on the sidewalk) as the RCMP had a tactical unit standing approximately 12 abreast across the vehicular lanes.
They were set up, approximately 300 yards from the border, where maybe just 5 or 6 hours earlier we had a friendly coffee with patriotic Americans.
Several hundred Canadians were milling around maybe a hundred or so yards north of the RCMP.
The Bichon and I walked alone up to the RCMP line, and I politely asked why I can’t walk to the border, and explained that had done that earlier in the day, and had had a lovely visit with Americans.
A young member said I could be charged with a couple of offences. ( he was wrong on both) I very politely asked him if he was sure about that.
He waffled and the senior officer interjected himself.
We got on okay, and I’ve shared a few experiences and I left saying how saddened it was that we had all become pawns in a dangerous political game.
Walking back through the freedom seekers, I sensed more anxiety.
As darkness descended and the Bichon and I headed homeward. A mild sadness overcame me.
It was short lived however as the visions of the many ethnic groups that were participating in the freedom rally came to mind.
I prayed as we walked back to the car, and the short drive home.
Not far from our car a family of Sikh supporters were gathered on a sidewalk, they smiled and said “hi” I replied with a Punjabi greeting and their faces lit up.😎
It’s as always in Gods hands.

The Fridman et al v Bean lawsuit (Alfa v Fusion GPS) may actually force some of this to the surface. In discovery, Simpson turned over his spreadsheet outlining his plan of attack (it is on Gateway Pundit 2/9/22).
The most egregious omission (to me) is no mention of Felix Sater (the raison d’etre for the investigation of Trump’s Russia ties, per Simpson’s senate testimony). Roughly the time Simpson was brought on board for the scam, Loretta Lynch was getting grilled at her confirmation hearings for (along with Andrew Weissmann) “forgetting” to request $40 milion in restitution to Sater’s victims). Sater was an FBI informant for years, I have always presumed Simpson wanted FBI files on Trump.
During his testimony, Simpson also made an intriguing coment: “When I went back into the history of Peter Star I realized that Bill Browder did business with the mayor’s office in Saint Petersburg when Vladimir Putin was the deputy mayor and was responsible for dealing with western businessmen and corporations. I then went and looked in Red Notice, this was a large deal, it was the biggest deal ever for Salomon at that time, they sold $98 million worth of stock on NASDAQ. There’s no mention of William Browder’s deal with Peter Star in Red Notice. I can’t tell you why, but I can tell you that Peter Star later became the subject of a massive corruption investigation, Pan-European, that I exposed a lot of and that led to the resignation of Putin’s telecoms minister. “[emphasis added]

The state has all the physical power in a peaceful protest so it’s not difficult to determine who will win this Freedom fight in the end. Any physical response by a protester, no matter how slight could result in an assault charge, resisting arrest and so on. It’s unlikely that any over zealous police officer will be held accountable for rough tactics at this point.

I was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. We are very different from a lot of the people on the island. One of the nicknames for Ponce is ‘The City of the Lions’. FREEDOM!
My dad was a wonderful, heavenly guy. At his funeral, a lot of people spoke about him as being a ‘one in a million’ type of guy. He absolutely loved peace, freedom, and nature.
One time when he visited my place in Jacksonville, Florida, I took him to the Jacksonville Zoo. Wide open spaces, almost no cages. Wonderful. He loved it. As we were walking by the lion’s open space, two lion brothers were playing. And then, one of the brothers roared. The air vibrated, the ground vibrated, our bodies vibrated. It was so loud it was probably heard for at least one mile. Astounding, beautiful!
I looked at my dad, and told him, “He knows we are from Ponce, the city of the lions. That is his way of saying Hi!”. My dad laughed, we both were so happy we both got teary eyed, from happiness!
