I purchased my Canadian flag today. I will fly it proudly when I receive it. I don’t know why I waited this long. They deserve our support through funding or anyplace else.
I spent most of my day yesterday calling Republicans and school board members yesterday. Along with my perpetual calls to Larry Hogan. Funny, how he and Justice, just over the river here in West Virginia, have not lifted mandates yet. 2 RINO’s together. a little late reading today but most of the increase was due to the high cost of the new Alzheimer’s medication. after the increase was implemented, the drug company decided to lower the cost of the medication .so it looks like everyone is footing the bill for something that may not be needed or even work.
The FDA advisory team recommended against it, but FDA overruled and approved it. The drug is very controversial.

Mr Rainey was born into slavery. His father was allowed to work a side job as a barber. He saved enough money to purchase his, his wife and his two children’s freedom. Joseph not having any formal education followed in his dad’s footsteps as a barber.
After the civil war he helped form the Republican party in South Carolina and was later elected to congress to fill an open seat. He served for four terms. He passed voting rights laws, laws against the kkk and helped the Native Americans.
When he was up for election for his fourth term the democrats targeted him and the state offices for takeover. He won reelection but the democrats took control of the state.
In Edgefield County there were 2000 more votes than registered voters and about the same in Laurens County. They had riots and killed many black people to intimidate them from voting. The democrat challenger filed a protest claiming the blacks were rioting and caused whites not to vote. He lost his challenge.
The democrats began passing laws to prevent black people from voting. A black republican was not elected to congress for over a 100 years until Tim Scott was elected in 2010.

Correlation is not causation. You’d need more data than you’ve presented, including the average 4 comorbidities the reported covid deaths had, in 75% of those deaths. The recovered would likely have comorbs too.

group and the control groups, how many people had the vaccine, when they had it, and what

One year isn’t “years”. That does sound like the flu, some people get very sick and even die from the flu, and some don’t.

At my church council meeting, we heard we had a surplus in the budget due to the Payroll Protection Plan. Seems like free money? Not in the context of 7.5% inflation. Now the reserve fund, for rainy day purposes, is worth 7.5% less, and will be so every year.

Kohl’s has racks of year-old junk to sell, other department stores have dusty, old stuff no one wants. How they stay in business is a myster.
I noticed the really bare shelves in Publix Southwood in TLH, FL yesterday at noon. There are huge gaps in the shelves and other areas where they have front-faced with one or two boxes or packages, but it is obvious there is no product behind the ones they put in the front.
People are still rushing around with their baskets looking like they mean business, but there is fear in their eyes. You can almost smell the beginnings of desperation.

This is NOT good and a back door to enact parts of the currently stalled “Election Rights Bill” in the senate.
The other Federal Law (yes it is a LAW as approved congressional ACTS = a LAW), to keep an eye on is the Presidential election Act of 1845 and supporting amendments. This Act sets the DATE for election of the President and Members of Congress, which ALL States counting votes submitted after Election Day VIOLATE.
I had not heard of the 1887 Act until this comment but the action to alter this Act says there are allot of hidden Acts in the Federal code that STOP the stalled “Election Rights Bill” dead in its tracks. There are likely other “JOINT efforts” in congress, TODAY, to clean up the Federal Code.
Even a corrupt Supreme Court cannot easily dismiss these ACTS / LAWS if a competent lawyer raises them in court and PUBLIC, which are counter to the “Voting Rights Bill”.
A question : How does a ” Declared Emergency ” impact this ?
Good question.
It does not impact it. The CONGRESS or State Legislatures in the case of State Law, has to pass some sort of measure to create any “exceptions”, even temporary exceptions to the LAW, based on the “declared emergency”. Even the emergency declarations themselves did not include suspension of LAWS as part of the declaration.
Congress and legislatures had from February 2020 through October 2020 to pass “exceptions” regarding elections. They did not. Executive Orders by National and State Executives CANNOT Change an established LAW, if that EO contravenes an established LAW. Also that at least the Act of 1887 and Act 1845, cited in this comment DO NOT have provisions for States of Emergencies…in other words some sort of legislative action is REQUIRED to change them.
By the way, there were NO declared emergencies in 2018, for the mid-term congressional elections, when states illegally extended the voting dates for the congressional elections, covered by the Presidential Voting Act of 1845 and Amendments.
3 U.S. § 1 Time of Appointing Electors
“The electors of President and Vice President shall be appointed, in each State, on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November, in every fourth year succeeding every election of a President and Vice President.”
The above law is routinely ignored. Counting mail-in ballots for weeks after Election Day consumed the time for Trump’s team to do an investigation. As we have witnessed, by refusing to hand over the needed records, the investigation can be delayed for well over a year. This remains a loophole in our election system. You can cheat, then stall the investigation. If no officials go to prison, this will be repeated over and over.
Had Mike Pence sent this back to the States for confirmation, they would have confirmed the electors as is. How do we know this? Because not a single State has decertified their electors despite overwhelming evidence of widespread cheating.
I believe in habeas corpus for voting. You present a body and an ID, I give you a ballot, then you vote. Mail-in ballots are where 99% of the cheating occurs. Mail-in ballots should be eliminated for 99% of cases. If you wish to vote early because you’ll be out of town, come to the County Clerk’s office, present an ID, then vote. This is not rocket science.
It is crucial to note that there are also changes to this Section of the US Code you cite, which is the regulation or law writen to enact the Presidential Voting Act of 1845, and the the 17 Amendment to the US Constitution that aligns the DATE for Congressional Elections (House and Senate) with the date designated for Presidential elections.
This note is what the mid-term Congressional elections in 2018, in states extending voting date illegal.
I do not care what Mike Pence would have done, the fact remains Federal Laws were broken and of all the smart lawyers challenging the elections (e.g. Sydney Powell) NOT A SINGLE one even gives lip service the fact.
The only suit that addressing Federal Law was by AG Paxton of TX and courts said no standing. Don’t shove this off on just the State Legislatures possibly ignoring the law. This was a coordinated 3-Branch effort and I am wondering about the all the noise made by the other Lawyers.
I also fnd it interesting that suddenly there may be efforts underway to change all the EXISTING Federal Election Laws.
By the way, VP Pence also had the option to send the results back based on violation of Federal Law and HE DID NOT. The laws broken were FEDERAL LAWS, which State legislatures cannot undo or contravene.

The crapification of the U.S. economy is now complete. The only thing left is the tiresome waiting for the implosion of the entire travesty of a mockery of a sham.
The U.S. economy has fundamentally changed, and not for the better. There are numerous dynamics behind this decay, and I’ll discuss a few of the more consequential ones this month.
