School District Sends Letter Saying They’ll Label Unmasked Students a ‘Clear and Present Danger’ and Prosecute Parents for Truancy

In a letter distributed Thursday, Ripon Unified School District told parents to “remove your students from campus unless they wear a face covering,” and that failure to do so “would force the District to consider taking other potential actions which the District would rather avoid, if possible, including”:
▪️ Labeling the presence of their child a “clear and present danger to the life, safety, or health of a pupil or school personnel,”
▪️ Contacting county Child Protective Services without even contacting the parents first “as they have been abandoned on campus by you,”
▪️ Identifying the children as truants and refer them to a School Attendance Review Board “which could result in criminal charges against” parents,
▪️ Dis-enrolling the children from school,
▪️ Filing for a restraining order in Superior Court which would prohibit children from attending District schools unless they wear a mask indoors on campus.

They somewhat dismiss it, but say the Democrats have a weak bench of possible candidates. She went on to say the Republicans have a strong bench and named a few governors.
She never mentioned Trump. I wonder why-hmmmm? I think FOX will start subtlety trashing Trump and then ramp it up if/when he announces and we get closer to choosing the Republican candidate.

The simplest solution is to stay with the unmasked child, for the entire day, if necessary, to insure the child presents no DEFINABLE “clear and present danger to the life, safety, or health of a pupil or school personnel.” What will they do then?
Clearly, the child isn’t abandoned, is present and therefore not truant, cannot be disenrolled without cause, and filing any kind of restraining order takes more time than school officials have to solve their immediate “problem”, especially if a few dozen parents do this.
You want these people to teach your children anything?
The simplest solution is to find a way to homeschool your kids
The public school system is seriously broken and not to be trusted.
It must go down and be reborn.
At least in some states as I understand it, public school funding is partially based on attendance. What happens if 5-10% of the enrollment drops due to students being home schooled or some other version? There may be other ways of inducing pain in these institutions. Now that might force lay-offs or cuts in some form that even the tenured might feel. Pain induced at the bottom with job/pay insecurity and pain at the top, school board elections, could possibly induce change brought about by concerned parents.
I would not send my child to that school.
If nothing else they are teaching them to conform to the will of the state.
Homeschool. Form pods. Neighborhoods, family whatever.
Get your kids out of there.

This is most likely the only way forward. Homeschool if possible. Find like minded parents, pool resources and hire a teacher who has been vetted by the group and have them teach your children as a group.

He asked stupid questions which the bloviating idiot took forever to ask. I’d estimate his questions took more time in the far too short segment to ask than Dr. Malone had to respond.

Ex-Blackrock fund manager Ed Dowd is in the former camp, and has spent the last month analyzing breadcrumbs associated with a rise in excess mortality vs. pre-pandemic levels.
