The drop in the ADP employment this week is likely responsible for paranoia in the WH economic expectations. The Atlanta Fed forecast for 0.1% GDP growth adds to this making some believe in a dire and abrupt economic halt.
Lost in the adherence to one set of employment reports misses the growth in the strong Household Survey employment trend. The Household Survey counts self-employed which has been sharply higher since the mandates forced firings of those who would not comply. If this Friday’s reports continue this trend, expect t hear the media moan about a collapsing economy when it is truly the rise in self-employed that is where the true economic strength resides.
So much for the Federal Reserve raising interest rates on Biden and the Democrats! LOL
They’ll raise them anyway. Following France, Germany, and other EU countries. According to the World Economic Forum, the people masses must experience a little pain to change the direction of the world into a global run society.
Also, it is very apparent that we are sliding into a recession so the interest rates must be raised, so they can be lowered in the future to offset the future compression of our economy. Quantitative easing must be stopped for the same reason. This is the standard playbook to rescue an economic failing President.
So, the Bolsheviks running the Federal Reserve are going to destroy the economy and stock market destroying Biden and the Democrats even more than they’re destroying themselves with the midterms and 2024? Seems like that’s a pretty hard reach after Wall Street spent billions to get rid of President Trump!
Either way, one of their narratives will collapse. Either the economy turns out to not be nearly as strong as they say; or, it turns out millions of people would rather be self-employed than be forced to take the “safe and effective” vaccine. Nothing says “cram it up your cram hole” faster than millions of people choosing self-employment over corporatism/fascism.
hokkoda: If a person is cut out for it, self employment is the way to go. Government has proven itself highly adept at imposing upon and screwing up the traditional, American-style employer-employee relationship, to the extent that many employees find themselves effectively working for the government, rather than for a private employer.
Either this trend reverses (seems doubtful), or the nature of work and the control of one’s future income stream is in for continued, radical change. Perhaps, this is what large employers (i.e., corporate America), want.
I’ve done both. There are pros and cons to each. I enjoyed the freedom of running my own business and being really only accountable to myself for the results. OTOH, I enjoy the colleagues I have at work now which my life as a small business owner just didn’t afford. I will likely move to a blend of both in the future, like a lot of people. We own our home and all our “stuff” (no debt), and the kids are nearly out of college, so we’re quickly approaching the point where we can step back into something that pays the bills and our savings will hopefully go pretty darn far.

My father died of the flu shot in the 70’s, so I would always refuse to get one. However, after that instance, I

I’ve had it twice as well, once two years ago and again last month. It’s a virus that mutates very quickly and will continue to do that until the end of time. For this reason, the natural immunity you gain from your first infection will not protect you a year or two later. It behaves like the flu. My first infection protected me against the original C19 and probably delta, my infection last month will protect me against omicron, but I will probably have no protection against the next variant. And the mass vaccinations are making it worse – they ensure that the virus will keep mutating at a faster rate than would have happened had we not tried to vaccinate against this.

The COVID strain circulating is not nice. I had it back in early January – fever for days. The sore throat was one of the worse I have ever had – felt like a knife had been scraped over my throat. I had trouble swallowing. For the sore throat, I sucked on Manuka honey throat lozenges, drank green tea with Manuka honey (twice a day) and gargled with Colgate whitening mouthwash because of the hydrogen peroxide (my dentist uses this brand to kill mouth viruses).
Oh, that sounds awful. It also sounds like you did well with how you treated it.
And — that’s so strange. We came down with it mid-January and did not have symptoms at all like yours. We had really no fever or sore throat — just started off with the classic tickle and dry cough for a day or so and then pretty intense body aches. We used most everything that has been recommended for early treatment, but my spouse still slipped into the silent hypoxia the second week.
I, too, treated with most of the recommended vitamins and supplements. My doctor prescribed Azithromycin. I did not have hypoxia, but I was short of breath with exertion for a few days (days 4-7). Very tired. That lethargy lingered for a bit. The worse symptoms I had were the gastrointestinal ones (acid, nausea, and the desire not to really eat for about 5 days). I may have caught Delta as it was still circulating in NYC at the time and I had spent a great deal of time at Mt Sinai Hospital for unrelated reasons the week prior to coming down with covid (despite the mask mandates). Some of the doctors I spoke to while at Mt Sinai mentioned the Delta variant presented with more GI symptoms than the other variants.

I thought I read somewhere that the original, in-the-wild coronavirus was actually a gastrointestinal illness, which makes sense with your symptoms. My friend caught it early on (Nov. 2020) and it was almost all gastrointestinal. Yet, others have completely different symptoms, which is strange. When someone gets chicken pox or the measles or whatever, the course of the disease is pretty much the same for everyone who gets it. With this, symptoms are all over the map.
We had a medical professional surmise we had delta based on our symptoms.

My symptoms were like yours. Worst body aches I ever had, no fever, no sore throat, but incredible fatigue, a sleepiness that went on all day long. The word “lockdown” in the study includes all Non Pharmaceutical Interventions,( NPIs). In the world of medicine, masks are included within the definition of NPIs.
Suggesting that mask wearing should be eliminated, as this study does, contradicts what, virtually, every scientist on the planet up to now has been suggesting. That’s one of the reasons the study is so controversial.
You bring up a good point about vaccinated individuals, namely, did the study include both vaccinated and unvaccinated people when they evaluated the data? I don’t know for sure; but, my guess is the study includes mostly, if not entirely, only those people in the year 2020, which means they were unvaccinated.
The authors of the study do not make a distinction.

My town also had a local department store equipped with pneumatic tubes to pass cash and coins between the cashiers and the accounts receivable office. And a little, old fashioned grocery store where you told the clerk what you wanted and he pulled the items down off the shelf, behind the counter.
Good memories, spent many a day at the Woolworth’s lunch counter in the 60’s. A lot of the house bric-a-brac came from there, along with some of my clothes. The five and dime name spread far and wide and many local stores included it in their name.

This sounds like part of a good strategy to sue the hospital. I’m not a lawyer, but individual hospitals and doctors are not Big Pharma, they still have legal liability. If the hospital’s protocol was not working, and they were made aware of another peer-reviewed protocol that does work, but they declined to even try it anyway, it sounds like a pretty clear case of malpractice.

Someone tell me why this is suddenly news? If I’m not too mistaken, this has been going on for years…..in fact, I can remember in years gone by where “farmers” used to be paid big bucks to NOT farm their lands. In fact, they used to use the money they were paid to take big long vacations instead of farming their land. So now people are starving because governments decided to pay farmers not to farm?
Seems to me that “government” is behind the killing of people by starvation, not the farmers alone. All one has to do is “FOLLOW THE MONEY” and you will find where it all starts.
I know some commenters have said they stopped reading articles at AmericanThinker, after AT cowtowed to Dominion threats,..even though its obvious AT didn’t have the financial resources to engage in a protracted legal battle with an opponent with a bottonless war chest.
In any event, I continue to go to AT; I don’t agree with every article, but do find it a good source for commentary, and reading articles I don’t agree with, which challenge my views, HONES and refines my views.
At any rate, 2 articles I urge every treeper to read, today.
The First is by Jay Valentine;

He has been working with “True the Vote” grass roots efforts, Nationwide, by purchasing voter rolls in every State, doing detailes data analyses, and then passing the info on to these grass roots groups.
The info he has compiled is priceless, and IS being used, by these groups. This is his second such article, and he is letting out the info he has uncovered in a strategic way; in stages.
And he makes it clear there is “more to come”, and we really should “stay tuned”.
This is one responce among many to the eeyores who post “No point in voting, if we don’t address 2020 Fraud; it IS being addressed!

I don’t have a lot of heartache with them generally, but before the Dominion stuff I would call them “American Overthinker” because some of their stuff is a real stretch. The ballot mule stuff has the potential to be pretty explosive, but I think people are very jaded about the whole “well THIS time, we’re going to get them” stuff.

This article lists, from Campaign donation disclosures, those in Congress who are donating to the R candidates who voted to Impeach PDJT, thereby ‘supporting’ them and their campaigns for reelection.
Scalise, McCarthy’s second in command, has recieved Praise from PDJT, and a ‘pass’ from many, because he got shot and survived.
Based on his donations, we need to put aside that emotional responce, and apply LOGIC in evaluating Scalise; He is R House WHIP; second in line after McCarthy.
Of COARSE he is a RINO, just like McCarthy was Ryans “second” (whip).
Also, Stefanik who gained attention during Impeachment, by her donations to Liz etc is showing her true colors.
Point is, this is yet another way the Swamp works, and one which WE don’t normally pay attention to; How those in office in Congress pass $ to each other for campaigns, in order to preserve the status quo.
I have long known Scalise was a snake, and suspected Stafanik as well.
We can’t recall or impeach those in Congress, which makes cleaning out the cesspool a seemingly insurmountable task.
However, any in Congress CAN resign,…and with an OVERWHELMING DEMAND from their constituents, such as HAS occured after a “scandal”, many over the years HAVE.
WHY do we ‘allow’ THEM to detirmine what does or doesn’t constitute a scandal sufficient to justify resignation?
Sure, the Weiner texting young girls photos of his member, qualifies.
Or the comedian from Minnisota having photos of him molesting a sleeping reporter.
But how about blatantly and consistently supporting and advancing policies which A) the majority of their constituence adamantly don’t support, and policies which directly harm their constituents?
Rememmber “Taxation without Representation”?
Focus on the last two words, rather than the first
WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.
Isn’t the underlieing complaint we have, a LACK of Representation?
Therefore, isn’t a long history of consistently not representing their constituencies, at least as sound a reason to, by overwhelming public pressure DEMAND resignations, as any “Sex scandal”??
THIS is an alternative way to drain the cesspool that is Congress, even as we marshall a second “Tea party” attempt to drive out the Rinos thru Primaries.
With it, we are not “stuck with” McConnell or Graham, McCarthy or Scalise, for another 5 years.

Denver is hilarious. We had to go up there to pick out appliances for our home builder. The appliance place had 42 signs saying “wear a mask”, but we never wear them and we never even carry them down in Colorado Springs. So the lady at the desk asked if I wanted a free one, and I said “Am I required to wear one?” She got pissed and retorted, “NO! You are not REQUIRED to wear one!” so just laughed and said “okay no thanks” and kept looking at appliances. It was 30 minutes of getting the stink eye from the people in the store…very fun!!!

63% feel employers SHOULD FORCE employees to be vaccinated.
A rise from end 3rd Qtr 42% to 52% surveyed in December 2021 are concerned about rise of COVID.
33% would bias their buys to companies supporting mandates, while 48% don’t care.
Given the Green Line Forum membership are Fidelity customers and investors, this is somewhat a surprise.
The questions NOT asked, wwere; “How many are vaccinated and/or boosted?”

The comical part is that the CDC then goes to great pain to say COVID-19 is different and special form of Coronavirus.
As we have know since the PCR Test became the “Gold Standard” back in December 2019, there is no way to tell the accuracy or truth of a single number publish since January 2020.
A Combination of a Test Set Used to detect, that indicates any of the 57 viruses listed combined with a wide open symptoms list means the numbers are whatever the CDC and NIH say they are. Add to that the CDC has STOPPED counting anything Virus and ignores the season swings that occur even among the viruses you list.
