Radio host Dennis Prager sums up Democrat voters as women and feminine men. In particular, single women.
Canadian Liberal leader (Prime Minister) Justin Trudeau has the same categories of supporters.

Only property owners (men and women) should be allowed to cast a ballot. Non property owners who want to vote are free to put together some money and buy a home. Visited the grocery in my WNC small town yesterday, was shocking to see fresh vegetable area completely empty of grapes and berries, potatoes, carrots, onions and most all lettuce. Apples nearly gone along with limes and lemons.
Diary cases nearly empty as well. Wow just wow.
Some of that has to do with the snow storm. I had no problem with fresh produce, also in WNC, but lots of empty shelves which have been there since the beginning of covid. But, I did see big price increases everywhere.
Same here. My produce section was stocked to the brim. After discussion here a few days ago about there not being green bananas, I made special note on that. Banana stand was FULL with green/ripe/ and a bit over ripe.
So far I am seeing the same shortages on the same items for the past 6-12 mos. Proceesed meats, frozen foods, soups, crackers. New is the scarce dairy. In our area we are surrounded by dairy farms. Time to throw off those regulations and sell the milk. If we can eliminate clinical trials, we can sell milk.

Grocery Outlet on the Oregon Coast has tons of fresh meats, veggies, salads, cheese from all countries and everything else…shelves are loaded. Their headquarters is in Washington.
Grocery Outlet is awesome! They specialize in overruns and closeouts to supplement the basics so you can find great prices on unique foods, especially imports and organics. Even though we jokingly refer to it as the “used food store”, it is our first stop! Support local businesses.
Wine selection and prices are amazing there as well.

Part of the problem might be due to a very damaging late freeze in early spring 2021 in western NC. Some of the usual apple outlets were shut down the entire fall 2021, no crop.

According to my brother-in-law who acquisitions cattle for a large family slaughterhouse operation in our home town are expanding. I remember when they were slaughtering 750-head of cattle per day. They are now expanding their operation capacity to slaughter 4,500-head of cattle per day. It is mind boggling to say the least.

My family is part of a group hoping to have a new one up and running in McPherson soon. It will start very small due to not having the knowledge base at 50 head per day. Their goal is to get it to 5000 as they train new employees within 2 years. As long as the water is there (takes a ton of water), and labor is there we will get it done.
