People keep reacting to the statements about “what Trump is saying privately”. If he didn’t say it in front of the people who are passing that along, they don’t know that it’s true.
I can remember when people claimed that the President referred to certain countries in scatological terms. He was asked specifically about that, and he said no, that was not the language he used.
The funny thing is, every time somebody heard the rumor about what he said, instead of getting upset with him, it made them smile.
Anybody leaking what he says in private can only be looking to start trouble, so their accuracy is seriously in question.

I know this: The left hated President Trump because he was a business man who is extremely smart in handling situations that they knew nothing about. They could not stand that. He outsmarted them all. He is loved because he follows through with what he promises…not a politician.
He also said publicly that he didn’t want to ‘let’ others know ahead of time what he was gonna do. He knew what he wanted to “leak” and what to keep to himself, mostly.

Indeed, it is a plan to divide, hatched by the leftist political leadership. The intention is to create two camps for the conservatives, with enough fracture to allow the designated RINO to have strength. But, I also believe they fear DeSantis the most. Trump remains tarred and feathered, not by MAGA patriots and most conservatives, but with critical independent voters. The apparatus is confident they can make Trump even more radioactive if necessary (they still believe he will be charged with crimes).
Sadly they have succeeded in some of this, and will pour on the burning gasoline further if Trump runs.
Ron DeSantis is the greatest threat to their scheme. He is the rising STAR who successfully battled the forces of evil, prevailed in Florida over all the crap thrown at him and his state, and won significant support from the mushy moderates doing so. He faces reelection this year against some tough “made for TV” candidates who check all the boxes, yet he’s likely to dispatch them by a good margin.
Trump would be wise to lead MAGA into the next generation by supporting the rise of DeSantis. I suspect his ego will not allow that. If President Trump runs, and wins the nomination, I will gladly support him. No need for any hacking at each other by either candidate.

I would find it difficult for any observer, no matter how faithful, to deny just how powerful President Trump’s ego is. No matter how much he pushed through the hell he faced, his ego both helped him and hurt him. Heck, if I were him I’d probably want to take my rightful place again. However, what is going to happen that changes any of the conditions he faced previously? Even if he were to get elected, where will he prevail against a whole swath of evil possessed DIMS and the large contingent of RINO liars who plot against him while standing for their photos with him?
I just believe DeSantis has a greater capacity for turning this ship back in the MAGA direction while bringing aboard many who would oppose Trump. We get one shot at this. It needs to be our best.

ANY effective MAGA Presidency, in 2024 is going to require a major dismantling of the Administrative State and reduction of the Federal Buerocracy.
Such a massive effort can NOT be accomplished, without straight on confronting the Congressional Republical leadership, (McConnell and McCarthy) AND the interrelated RINO control of the RNC/GOPe at National level.

We need a battle scarred, seasoned warrior to return to the Swamp, fully prepared to be a WRECKING ball, and break the RNC/GOPe once and for all, working from the top down, even as a similar effort is working from the bottom up.
ONLY by finally wresting control of the GOP/RNC away from the Rockerfeller country club Republican Rinos, can we make the meaningful and sustainable changes of deconstructing the Administrative State.
Desantis can not do this, as a first time Potus. He MAY be a worthwhile VP, to assist in the effort, and continue it in 2028, OR to work within the admin as a Cabinet level, but he is NOT the one for the top spot.
Any who argue he is, and that PDJT is “tainted” are deluded into furthering the GOPe/RNC talking points, as part of a desperate campaign by the GOPe/RNC fighting for its survival, against MAGA.

Governor Desantis would be a great President but I don’t think he has the national recognition right now. I want him to remain my governor after he wins his second term.

I understand your concerns about the capacity for a nationally untested DeSantis to kick the swamp’s gonads; agree it may be an impossible task.
However, as much as we love President Trump, to deny his damaged status among folks outside our lovely Treehouse is a mistake. Even during the election season, there were numerous people one would consider “moderate” (If that is a better word than independent) who leaned toward MAGA but had little regard for Trump. We love him for his “damn the torpedoes” approach. Fact is sometimes it was just too caustic. After the evil cabal hung multiple BS on him, they permanently tainted him for some of these mushy middlers.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley has tested positive for Covid. The four-star general is “fully vaccinated” and has taken a booster shot.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff issued a press release on the development late Monday night.
“Gen. Milley’s most recent contact with President Biden was on Wednesday, January 12 at Gen. Odierno’s funeral,” the release noted. “He tested negative several days prior to and every day following contact with the President until yesterday.”

I really don’t believe any of those “tests.” In fact, I openly question whether many of them are actually being run. I think that by now people are making up “results” out of whole cloth to assert that healthy people are actually sick.

I wonder whether “tested positive for Covid and will be isolating at home for the next week” is just code for “tested positive for CCP.”

I am beginning to think my husband had COVID and one dose of ivermectin early killed it.
Some of you Treepers may recall that last Sunday night ( early last Monday morning) I woke up to hear my husband breathing extremely rapidly and shallow in his sleep. I have never heard that from him in over 20 years of marriage.
I was concerned so I woke him up. He got up..i felt his head and it was hot…I took his temp and it was 101 …he normally runs a 96-97 degree temp. He said he felt a bit queasy and he had a lot of body aches but no sinus or chest congestion and no sore throat. HIs queasiness subsided quickly.
so we did a covid test immediately..it was negative I was relieved..until my doc told me the next morning that these rapid home tests aren’t reliable until at least 5 days into symptoms.
Anyway, I assumed covid and started treating him…one full round of Ivermectin and the usual supplements ( zinc, quercetin, D, C, NAC, Black Seed Oil)
He ran fever all the next day and it broke that night. That day we couldn’t get in to do the PCR test but the following day we did and it was negative.
Now, at that point he hadn’t run a fever in about 24 hours and he had no other symptoms other than fatigue and achy joints.
Weirdest thing I have ever seen. He is never sick…in 20 years of marriage he has only had diverticulitis…no colds or flu…this was just strange.
I honestly think he had very early covid and the ivermectin dose knocked it out quick.
Isn’t it great that we know what to do, what to take! I’m glad to hear that he’s improving.

Zinc + Quercetin can do it, too. We thoroughly understand the biochemistry of how Zinc disrupts viral replication, and we also know that your body naturally uses this strategy. Same thing happened to our family Tues after Christmas. My MIL (who lives with us) started showing COVID symptoms, but negative home test (very faint line). All 5 got sick by the next day, fevers, fatigue, headaches, then no appetite, but no chest congestion. My MIL took the Ivermectin, but wife and i toughed it out (we are mid 40s) with soups. Vitamins and zinc gummies for all. Kids recovered in 1 day, and adults in about 5.
Then a nasty sinus infection sets in, cough from post nasal, but again no chest congestion. Back to headaches and stuffy nose. I found Sudafed daytime worked wonders in drying it out. I did not have much effect from Xlear, but my wife swears by it. YMMV. Today, we are all sniffle free.
Having recently had a similar experience (THINK I am recovering from Covid, not sick for 25 years) I now think that, in addition to their rigorous suppression of Ivermectin and HCQ, their pushing the “NO initial treatment of Covid, just stay home and wait till symptoms get worse” was BECAUSE the KEY to beating Covid IS early aggressive treatment.
It is contrary to any medical protecols for any other virus, to delay treatment like this, and was ONLY justified because of the ‘Danger’ of hospitals being ‘over run’, and yet actually CREATED the problem OF hospitals being overrun.
i.e. the way to prevent hospitals being overrun, is to aggressively treat at first sign of infection, so that patients don’t require hospitalisation.
I noticed the greatest improvement form nasal ‘douches’; warm some water, so salt will dissolve, doesn’t need to be a lot of salt. Then added a couple of drops of iodine.
A “snort” up each nostril, and I noticed immediate relief of pressure and irritation in my sinuses and the back of my throat.
And yes, I did HCQ protecol as well. Anyway, I now think early aggressive intervention is the key; I kept it out of my lungs, by killing it while it was still in my sinuses.
And, I think THEY knew early intervention was Covids vulnerability, and hence discouraged it.

Firstly, in order to charge “Conspiracy to” you MUST refer back to the original ststute, and detirmine what are the “key elements” of the crime.
So in order to charge “Conspiracy to commit” burglary, murder, etc
you have to first detirmine what constitutes burglary or murder, and THEN see if you have evidence to prove a conspiracy to commit that crime.
Now, if you read the actual statutes on “insurrection” and “sedition” you will see that they both include direct identification of ACTS OF VIOLENCE.
Murder, assasination, etc.
If you read the statutes, leaving out these references to specific acts of violence, ALL the behaviors listed are behaviors protected by the Bill of rights.
So, you CAN legally advocate for the overthrow of our government, so long as you don’t advocate for the VIOLENT overthrow of our government.
Not a “distinction without a difference” this is one of the KEY things which makes America, as founded Unique in history.

Agree with what ‘catturd’ says. Take the state of AZ. Most of the transplants originally moved because of health problems and were told the ‘change in climate’ would be good for them. But, they had to bring all the plants and grasses with them cause AZ is (was) mostly desert and they had to have their grasses and trees even if that was the cause of their allergies. Too many move but bring what they are trying to run away from with them.
