Let me put this out there, because some of you may be thinking the same thing…
I’m sick of people with foreign accents advising me on American politics.
Worse yet, are people who speak English as a 2nd language, telling me how to think about American politics.
More specifically, I resent those who speak English as a 2nd language being infiltrated into positions of political power within the U.S.A. It’s bad enough if they manage to get elected, but unacceptable when they are appointed by means that we voters cannot change.
The U.S.A. has been the free-est and most welcoming nation in the world. That came to be, by the sacrifices of many of our ancestors. Those who were here to found this nation, or those who fought in our wars.
When you have no stake in that history, and you have loyalties to foreign family or country, you cannot possibly understand my identity as an American with NO allegiance but to the nation I serve.
All have been welcomed to the U.S.A, but it seems that many have taken advantage of our generosity. Too many are seeking prosperity without regard for our culture and Constitution. Others have sought our freedoms, yet bring their failed ways of thinking. Some, yet, come here to wreck havoc.
I have learned much from my immigrant friends about their history. I do not rely upon them for my history. I want them to wait a couple generations before being entrusted to hold political office, or to be appointed to a political position.
Another reason for America to be a pro-life country. To preserve our heritage and culture.

Anyone who is pro death/ pro choice should be on the receiving end of our scorn even if they did make us laugh for a living .
More illegal came into the US last year than were born here.
And they aren’t coming here because they know our history better than we do or that they love this country. They are coming here because they have no respect for our laws, no regard for our culture, and they intend to exploit and destroy this country .
When I was in a Kaiser facility a few years ago the majority of the staff were imports. I called it Carnival Cruise lines because it had the same feel as a cruise ship staffing all the way down to Jamaican ladies to clean the toilets and empty the trash.
One morning a girl named Martha came in the room and introduced me to the staff that would be taking care of me. She gave me a speech on globalism. Some from India, one from Italy and she ended by saying her name was Martha and she was from Mexico.
Then Martha says “and Trump only likes rich people.”
I am lying in bed thinking “Get me the hell out of here!”

I can remember not that long ago, any ad for “help wanted” stated one had to speak ‘another’ language if you wanted to apply for a job in many places. We were searching for a place to move to because of that when we left Commifornia over 17 years ago.
PJ, I agree with you and furthermore, I am of the belief that our founding fathers had a different definition of a “natural born citizen.” Different than is the accepted definition today, anyway. I do not believe Obama, Kamala and Cruz meet the constitutional requirements for a “natural born citizen.”

Dear Lord! Yes, and another reason to be embarrassed about Washington. Christmas week, Spokane, where l live, took the prize when Catholic Charities required vax cards to receive a meal of charity. I was, however, heartened to see that a bunch of decent folks jumped in and provided breakfast burritos out of their own generosity to all comers, and also passed them around to the homeless.
“Catholic Charities” is not a charity. They are a blood sucking, money sucking puss-bucket on the American citizens. They are headhunters who survive and thrive on our gubt tax dollars. Their sole purpose is to break down our immigration systems and flood us with illegal aliens for whom they get paid by the head and by the service provided. Of course they would deny food paid for by our tax dollars to needy Americans.

My family and I lived in Central Europe back in the early oughts. We were able to do some traveling. Two places we visited were Rome and St. Petersburg. We toured the Vatican, well, as much as the public is allowed to see. When on a Baltic Sea cruise, we were in St. Petersburg for two days and went to the Peterhof palace.
Both places showed us obscene wealth on full display. The Catholic church has been taking money from people for many hundreds of years and it shows. The Peterhof Palace was just as obscene, if not more. Obscene, throw it in your face, wealth that was stolen from ordinary people.
That is what the libtards and globalists want. They want to implement feudalism in the USA.
I’ve read many stories about the Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, and other religious organizations getting hundreds of millions of dollars to resettle “refugees” in the USA. This is horrible and must be stopped. I was raised a Lutheran and was literally sick to my stomach when I read a couple of articles and then did some more research. And the people running the churches wonder why people are leaving in droves.
In “The Outline Of History” (non-fiction) by H.G. Wells, the author finds that “history” can be described as “The Science of Thwarting the Common Man.”
Going back further than what Wells studied, recent analyses of discoveries in what were Sumer, Akkad, Babylon, etc. indicates that the practice by ELITES in stealing EVERYTHING OF VALUE from poor people may actually predate the development of written language. This is because it was quite apparently very well entrenched in the earliest histories seen in clay tablets.
How right you are, it isn’t just the Catholics….it appears to be most of the so called organized churches.

Anecdotally , it DOES seem like many 1 st generation LEGAL immigrants are the most patriotic of Americans.
Maybe its because they have their “lived experience” of their homeland as a frame of reference, and so have a profound appreciation for America as a result.
But, MAYBE its because they had to go thru a citisenship class, which TEACHES them about the unique form of government we have, and instills in them a love of this country.
That test for that class can not be passed by MOST college grads, and that right there might be the problem?

Sad thing is, most native born folks couldn’t pass the Citizenship Exam is their lives depended on it.
Do you know that many states lowered their Bar exam standards in 2020, and some were even granted diploma privileges?
Standards and test scores have been lowered for many things all over the USA. Including getting a high school diploma, college degree, getting into college, becoming a firefighter, police officer, becoming an airline pilot, getting into the military and on and on and on. Some areas not so much as others but high standards have become a thing of the past. Just like taking pride in something manufactured lasting for many years. Everything is made to be replaced.
Here in Oregon, they have basically eliminated the standards for a high school diploma. Because POC are at a disadvantage for completing high school according to the Guv and her merry band of communists.
I worked my butt off to get mine. Well most of the time I worked my butt off. LOL But I passed with a B average, which considering I was in from 1972-1976 was pretty dang good. Probably could have pulled an A but I was just not into it and while I had planned on going to college, I ended up in the Air Force instead. Best thing I ever did.

POC students in Oregon are perhaps 15% of the population. Even if the premise was correct they trashed the education of 85% of their students to benefit 15%. Wasn’t that long ago Oregon was on the cutting edge of of educational innovation (CIM, CAM). BTW Oregon POCs are a pocket of Blacks in Portland and the progeny of illegal immigrants spread throughout the state. Expect home school numbers to skyrocket.
There are still some small USA companies hanging in there making fantastic durable products meant to last a lifetime.
Example: My sweetie bought me a Vermont Cart for the garden a couple of years ago. It not only revolutionized how much work I can do in a shorter time, but nothing is too much for it, even heavy loads of logs. It turns on a dime. The surface remains impervious no matter what junk I throw into it.

As a recovering attorney, I am far from surprised. The legal profession is a parody of its former self, and it wasn’t that great back when I started. People who couldn’t have found gainful employment at McDonald’s back in the day now fill courtrooms and HR departments with perverse notions of justice based on no reasoning or precedent whatsoever. Just the same as our political class. Handing out law degrees and bar privileges to the proudly ignorant is one of the very serious root causes of our current national illness.
And there are the attorney generals; a motley crew of affirmative action with no sense of the law or constitution unless they are using it for nefarious means (ala New York vs. Trump family).

Most foreign born AMERICANS do not approve of the illegals arriving. Yes, they do know more about our country than most of the last few generations of the American born. Like all the politicals’ who ‘swear’ the oath and then break it. Federal state or city. None of them “obey” that oath.

It is a paradox that I was discussing with friends the other day.
The US started a freedoms based society, with elites dragging it towards totalitarianism, thus the requirement to NOT teach history, culture preserving subjects and things related to critical thinking in the US, to destroy the base as well as dumb down the inhabitants. This is also the reason for enabling a flow of immigrants used to living in repressive societies who are poorly educated.
The EU, other Western Style Democratic Nations and many others started out repressive and have cycled through repressive – democratic – back to repressive over the years. These nations actually have a need to edcuate their citizens to “materialy” advance their societies and can safely teach history.

I had a difficult time trying to convince an employee from a communist state in India that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican not a Democrat. She never was convinced. And she was highly educated Masters degree and law degree.
Some of the dumbest people are “educated” people. When someone tells me how “educated” they are. I always tell them “I will do my best not to hold it against them”.
My most successful friends went to work right after high school and never slowed down for college. Those who received their college degrees are classic sheeple who go along to get along. They are always a day late and a dollar short.

There is something very wrong when first-generation immigrants come to the USA seeking top government positions. Really, there isn’t another way they can make better lives for themselves, than to enact laws and set policy?
I cannot imagine moving to another country, and expecting to get employment paid for out of the hard-working citizens’ tax dollars. There are other opportunities for gaining wealth and power.
I don’t care. If you don’t have family buried here, you don’t have ties here. Even the most anti-commie immigrants the 1st generation Cubans that fled Castro where loyal first to Cuba.
It takes several generations for most immigrants to Americanize and feel tied. Unfortunately with our schools and media, we now have multi-generation immigrant families who barely speak English, fly another country’s flag, and cheer for their real country at soccer matches, etc.
Spend time in one of the many UN like suburbs in the US now and you won’t even think you are in the US – nobody celebrates Thanksgiving, Independence Day etc. Nobody flies American flags. Nobody speaks English when given the choice. The public schools will have up 80+ country flags to represent their students.
And don’t even get me started on the muslim families in the malls or other leisure sites during the work day with one adult male 2 or 3 adult women (wives) covered head to toe and like 6 kids.
The US is dead due to demography we are just fighting over what happens to the corpse.
That is originally why we left CA for the last time. We were in a city that had a huge CINCO DE MAYO (sp?) celebration and parade, but “couldn’t afford a 4th of July celebration at all. We left shortly after that, and I was born in CA as were all my kids.
Nobody said they didn’t know more. Let’s face it, Our Children have been brainwashed for many years….and still are. I’m old, and one of the things we ‘HAD TO PASS’ to graduate to high school when I was in the 8th grade was a test on the Constitution. I was out of state with the family at the time, so I didn’t ever even have to take it. It started before that even.

One of my friends teaches English as a second language in their local community college and has for years.
She told me that there are people with so many different languages in the class that it is difficult for her
to keep up.
Who do you rather have as your repetitive, an American with an accent who knows and loves America or a representative who speaks American, but screws America every chance they get…such as 80% of the representatives today?

I have many immigrant friends from various countries around the world; India, England, Ireland, Puerto Rico, Honduras, et. al. I love them dearly, but their ways are not my ways. While I respect their culture, my culture, history and belief system should be respected and revered as well.
My beef is with the people who come here, live off the tax payer money I’ve worked all my life paying into the system, and then having no respect for people like me and who want to change or destroy what I’ve worked to build.
Immigrants should not be getting elected or appointed to political positions, paid for by American tax dollars. No one should come here for a cushy gov’t job, setting law and policy for those who have paid into the system our entire lives.
Here in IL, I hear so many state politicians and administrators who speak with a foreign accent. I don’t like ANY of them, and resent being forced to pay their salaries.
If they’re so smart and love the American way so much, let them prove it by contributing in the private sector.

That’s why I have been paying more attention to Jesse Kelly recently. His bold remarks about women in the military have set the needle back where it needs to be.
We can’t have a frank discussion of any of the issues when we allow other to set the ground rules, and tell us where the starting point has to be.
We see right now, the GOP trying to pretend they can adopt the whole trans agenda while saving an eensy little piece of normality, no boys in girls sports.
Why do they even want to do that? Who is stupid enough to actually believe that is possible? Once you accept that boys can become girls, you cannot keep them from taking over anything that belongs to girls.

I totally agree, my father inlaw came from Greece in the early fifties and I can’t tell you how many arguments we would get into because he never lost his socialist mentality. Sometimes they would get heated and I would say if you think socialism is so great why don’t you move back to Greece. He eventually did go back after retiring but said he missed the US so he came back.
I’ll take issue with this…there are a number of conservative voices from other countries…Nigel Farage/Dinesh Disouza as a couple… who has seen and experienced liberalism in their countries and are warning America as to it’s destructive tendencies. And because of their experience are trying to give America a playbook as to how to avoid the trappings of the left.
You can’t broad brush everyone… yet there are a number of grifters and sleazebags who do take advantage of our generosity who are on the media channels or in print. Judge on an individual basis.
Both Nigel and Dinesh are fantastic. I choose to listen to both of them, because their thoughts and knowledge appeal to me.
That is a far different thing than having them set the laws I must live by, or being paid from my tax dollars.

Peoria, while I understand your position in general, it is very unfair to paint all people that speak English as a second language with the broad brush of not being worthy of serving in a position of power or teaching us history.
I know many real good people that have been in the US for 40 years and still have a Spanish accent, just like I know people in my neighborhood in Florida that moved here from the Bronx 40 years ago and drive a Toyoter Camry.
I would love for Melania Trump to teach my children American history. I would love for her to be in a position of power beyond that of the First Lady.
Melania was a perfect First Lady, who didn’t inject herself into politics.
For any immigrant who desires a position of power in the USA, there are plenty of private sector jobs.

Is framed as intolerance toward people with foreign accents. It’s an attribute of the statement itself. I would agree that all citizens should be self-sufficient. I would not condemn individuals that are not.
And here I thought I was alone in my thoughts about those who are not originally ‘from here telling us what they want us to listen to. I’m sure a lot of them are probably more knowledgeable than many U.S. born people on what our “history” is, since they had to “pass the exam” and our people don’t have to any more, but your words describe one of my reasons for NOT PAYING much attention to the news. In fact, I get more news here than any place else, so thank you for saying it “out loud”. Those who were born here don’t seem to care if we have a heritage or culture. My computer has had a cover that says “If you don’t like our heritage and culture, leave”; that I stole from someone and copied for keeping on the computer. . . . . so thank you for saying it. Not that these people don’t know more than most Americans do, but that people born and raised here don’t seem to give a sheet.

Two officials in Madison, Wisconsin, have been subpoenaed to turn over communications and other records relating to the 2020 presidential election and report to the office of former state Supreme Court justice Michael Gableman for questioning in February.
Gableman was hired by state Republicans last summer to investigate the 2020 election over claims that President Joe Biden “stole” the state and the larger election from former President Donald Trump.
Part of Gableman’s investigation is focused on whether Madison and other Democratic-leaning cities in Wisconsin improperly accepted nearly $9 million from the Facebook-funded Center for Tech and Civil Life to help administer the election.

The trio are trying to avoid being forced to testify under oath in a civil investigation, saying their statements will simply be used in a parallel criminal investigation that could threaten them with prison time.
Earlier in the day, court documents were made public showing that New York Attorney General Letitia James had set her sights on the former president and his two children for refusing to cooperate with her civil probe into potential tax dodging and bank fraud.
Although these kinds of investigations tend to be quiet matters until a formal lawsuit is filed—or both sides reach a settlement—this is starting to become an airing of dirty laundry.
As such, the Trump family has used this as an opportunity to start exposing details about the AG’s investigation.
In the filing, the Trumps also accused the AG’s office of leaking to reporters that Trump was asked to show up for a deposition on Jan. 7.
“To their credit, [AG] attorneys on this matter apologized to counsel for Mr. Trump. The leak was clearly made from the administration of the [attorney general’s office,”] Trump family attorneys said in one footnote.

Back in the day I was a US Customs Inspector, and I routinely and successfully went after duty evasion fraud. As you might guess, Chinese shippers and importers were well represented.
Typically, these scams involve double invoicing ( presenting an undervalued invoice at entry), purposely misdescribing merchandise and classifying it at a zero duty rate, false claims of USGR (US Goods Returned), false claims of GSP (General System of Preferences), and hundreds of other cheats that I will not mention. And there are undoubtedly some that got past me.
The American taxpayer was and is entitled to Customs duties, which are paid into the treasury. I along with a (very) few others went after the crooks to the limit of our skill and knowledge. There is a huge amount of revenue involved.
Then after President Reagan left office (and Customs Commissioner Von Rabb), our FP&F Office (Fines Penalties and Forfeitures) stopped issuing the penalties I wrote. I fought with them fairly constantly.
Finally, the ADDIC (Assistant District Director for Inspection and Control) had to intervene. He ordered me to cease, and added “Headquarters does not want this”
So we were shut down. But I marvel that our current Administration seems intent on beating every last dollar out of our small businesspeople, while vast sums of import duties go uncollected, much of it to the benefit of the CCP

My adult child was apparently exposed to the vid over the weekend. Today he is rushing out to get tested and wanted to let me know because he is so worried that he may have exposed me and put me at risk (not the rest of the family who are more enlightened and protected/jab than me).

The fear-porn pushers have succeeded in persuading people that something which for nearly everyone is “a really bad cold” is a death sentence – not only for themselves but also for everyone around them. They have persuaded healthy people that they are sick. Damn shame that they did not bother to inform all the Senate chamber staff, workers, officers, and young teenage senate pages not to brave those same treacherous conditions, because they were all there and waiting for the exalted ones to show up!
And of course if the senators actually show up today, they will take a 2 hour break from Senate business for party caucus luncheons as they do every Tuesday.

Government and other medical authorities declared that the covid injections were 95% effective in providing immunity from the virus and people with the shot didn’t spread it, now they say the symptoms of the virus will be less with the shots. They haven’t become truthful or believable over time. This is just one example and then they pretend that they never said what I know they said.
It is all about the m-o-n-e-y. Nothing more, nothing less. FDA, CDC, NIH, and Fauci himself are all beneficiaries of patent royalties. Those “jabs” which might be free to you cost about $125 apiece. Those useless “tests” at least $50. And part of the proceeds of every sale goes into those pockets.
“Big Pharma” has arranged things so that they can sell a potion without having gone through the expense of actual clinical trials – or enduring the possibility that it won’t make it through. (These would not have: too many dead ferrets, and now, too many dead humans.)
Now they want to use government power to force you to buy it, while also claiming “medical emergency” as a justification for making it impossible for you to sue them for damages.
It has never been anything else than this one concern: Money.

It is ALL relative to the definition the word “vaccine”. We covered it here on CTH weeks ago…the definition went from “prevent disease” to “addressing symptoms of the disease”. Thus the claim is saying that 95% of time SYMPTOMS are reduced.
The reason for the change removes the scientific “animal reservoir” comparison from the discussion as well as drops the standards for defining a vaccine to zero.
They have changed the definition of the V word to where it is meaningless. It should be eliminated from use.
Problem is it cannot be dropped or eliminated from discussion (use) because the “new” definition of a Vaccine is the actual basis for claims of effectiveness. One cannot discuss one without exposing the other.
The basis for the 95% effective claim is that in the Pfizer control group of 22,000, there were 19 Covid deaths. In the Pfizer vaccine group of 22,000, there was one Covid death. This may have been statistically significant, but the total deaths in the two groups wasn’t. Also, Dr. Fauci has a record of setting up these control groups to obtain the results that he desires. Also, the experiment was cut short and members of the control group were vaccinated, so we may never know what the true effectiveness of the vaccines are, though something tells me that insurance companies may be giving us better data soon.

The NEW definition has NOT been legally challenged, thus insurance information will be next to useless. The the standard for performance claims is next to zero based on the NEW definition published by the US Government.

On a separate note, this week will mark one year from the riots at the Capitol. As we have said from the start, the actions of that day were lawless and as wrong as wrong can be. Our Capitol should never be compromised and those who broke the law deserve to face legal repercussions and full accountability.
