I had a conversation with two friends who are hard left. After a little conversation about contemporary political issues, I simply asked this question: can Liberty and Freedom survive under progressivism? Tellingly—and keep in mind that these are friends I’ve known for decades—they couldn’t answer this essential question. The obvious answer is that, “no” Liberty and Freedom cannon survive under progressive politics. The two are completely incompatible.

Trump also: he never lost touch with the working classes and ordinary people and is considered a traitor to the luxury belief class.
Basically the thesis is that trouble occurs when the elites of a society detach themselves from reality and live in a world apart from ordinary people.
So, you might want to niggle your progressive friends with this hypothesis the next time you talk to them and see how they respond.

OK, I’m trying to work out the math of how many lethal doses of fentanyl are in 1,044 lbs that were captured in just 1 month.
According to multiple sources a lethal dose of fentanyl is around 2 mg.
That would mean 500 lethal doses in 1 gram. There are are 453.594 grams in a lb = 226,797 lethal doses per pound.
226,797 x 1,044 lbs confiscated = 236,776,068 lethal doses of fentanyl confiscated in just one month at the border.
Have I got that right? Please, someone check and tell me my math is way off!
Good Lord, just how many drug addicts are in America and just how much drugs are they taking?
And this is just for 1 of the drugs being used by the American populace! Then we’ve got the meth, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and who knows what else!

2mg could kill a person with no tolerance to opiates. Please stop lumping cannabis in with the hard drugs category if you aren’t going to include alcohol, which kills more people on a yearly basis than all drugs legal and illegal combined, that is, until this Control/Kill/ Sterilize Jab came ’round.

I’ll agree with you that cannabis is not a hard drug and that I should not lump them together.
As to the alcohol deaths are more than all combined drugs deaths, nope, I do not agree. They stretch alcohol “related deaths” to include alcohol “contributed” to 57 different categories of health related deaths to come up with 94,000 deaths(2019) per year. Some of them are quite a stretch.
But when they list deaths from all combined drugs at 70,000(2019) they only list deaths from overdoses. They don’t list auto accident while driving under the influence of drugs, or accidents at work due to be under the influence of drugs, or drowning, hypothermia, recreational activities, gun handling, or any type of violence, contributing to other health problems, and etc., like they do for “alcohol related deaths”.
So I think it is a poor comparison. Deaths strictly due to “alcohol overdose” are way lower than deaths from “drug overdose”.
I believe in drinking and taking prescription and legal drugs responsibly. I do not partake of any illegal drug.
I remember hearing many years ago that properly prescribed pharmaceutical drugs accounted for the greatest number of deaths in the U.S.
Yes, you have that right. Enough to kill every adult plus some in this country. And, that’s just one month. We’re in big trouble.

One of my brothers almost lost a finger like that. In an “accident”, one of my toddler twin brothers got his finger literally almost CHOPPED off. Very quickly my parents wrapped it all carefully, put it on ice, and took him to the hospital to have it stitched back together. It was hanging by a sliver of sin. They only went to the hospital because the family doctor was out delivering a baby.
Hours and 7 hospitals later, after each had removed the wrappings and passed sentence on the full removal of the finger, my parents finally left this crazy environment and met up with the now free family doctor who stitched it up and all was normal thereafter.

Robert Barnes said tonight it would be very unlikely the Feds will go after Kyle as there is no charge they can levy. Kyle Rittenhouse crossed the state line to go to work, 17 miles from his house. Eric Holder didn’t find anything to charge Zimmerman with in the Trayvon Martin shooting, and I doubt that Garland will either. In this case, the shooter and assailants were all white, so it isn’t a case of racism.

Real facts matter.
How about this – possibly they died not due to lack of vaccination, but failure of the medical profession to treat illness at its earliest onset.
I know this first hand – my own primary physician essentially said, “I cannot give you any treatments, call me if symptoms worsen to where you can’t breathe, or go to the hospital”.
That certainly is a real possibility because they have refused to even see COVID patients, let alone treat them.
I have another friend, desperately needing surgery for an issue that keeps her in extreme pain, the particular surgery is routine for her doctors yet – the surgery has continually been put on hold, always told that ‘in 3 months we should be clear to proceed’ and 3 months later told the same thing. This is a cruelty, this isn’t medicine at all to continue to put off treatments as if that’s going to do any good.
I know of seven who have died within 1 month of injection by the clot shot and zero from the CCP/Fauci virus bioweapon. Of the seven, five were healthy and in the prime of their life.

Kyle Rittenhouse is an amazing person and was there to help others. The fact Kyle Rittenhouse is only 17-years old makes him even more amazing. Kyle’s deftness handling a gun under extreme unbelievable life threatening duress is in another league of its own.
There were three criminal felonies adults threatening his life and one with a gun pointed at his head close range ready to fire. Kyle accurately beat him to the draw and managed to kill two others with pin point accuracy from an awkward, compromised position.
A movie script couldn’t had made it all as dramatic. Kyle handles himself with a maturity and decorum far beyond his age. How many anyone could handle it all from start to finish as Kyle? Ask yourself that question, especially the next time you encounter a 17-year old.
Kyle Rittenhouse is a true American hero in every sense of the word. Can you imagine what America would be like if every American was as Kyle Rittenhouse?

The jury got it right—finding Rittenhouse not guilty on all charges. The fact that charges were brought before any serious investigation is evidence that the government was motivated by politics, which itself should be considered criminal.
