O/T but re: Kyle Rittenhouse trail. The judge, with prosecution agreeing, has dropped the gun charge. The curfew charge was also dismissed. Sounds like small potatoes, considering the much more serious charges. That said, these two charges are the cornerstone of the left’s argument that makes their entire argument of “Kyle had no business being there” and “Kyle was in illegals possession of a firearm” and of course, the early confirmed fact that Kyle did not “cross state lines with an illegal weapon.” So therefore, one must look at the charges and claim of self-defense in the context that when this took place, Kyle was doing NOTHING illegal when someone began to chase him down, threatening to kill him and he acted in self-defense.
Now, we all know those were all ridiculous arguments to begin with, and most of us knew he did not commit any underlying crimes either. Not illegal to possess the gun. Not illegal to be in Kenosha “across state lines.” He never chased anyone. He never broke the law period.
I predict 100% exoneration. And Kenosha will burn again, for what, I have no idea. But reading the crying from the left it appears, as usual, that they don’t care about the law, they only care about getting their way.

Prosecution was hoping for “provocation”. Without the gun charge, that is much harder case to make.

I think there is a law that says self-defense is not a valid argument if you are committing a crime. If Kyle were committing the crime of carrying an illegal weapon, the defense could argue he can’t claim self defense.

Efficacy of a tetanus shot can be shown.
If 100 unvaccinated people get tetanus, 90 will die. If 100 vaccinated people get tetanus, none will die. That’s efficacy, and it can be shown.
To show statistical efficacy of the Covid vaccine, how many humans would you have to study?
Let’s say 1 in 1,000 will die FROM Covid-19. (99.9% survival rate. ) Not WITH Covid, but FROM Covid.
That means 10 in 10,000 will die.
That means 1,000 in a million will die.
So, to do the study to show efficacy, you must take one million vaccinated and one million unvaccinated with the same characteristics, and you must get ALL of them infected. (Not just 170 out of 40,000. You need ALL of them infected.)
Then you want to show that in the vaccinated sample of one million sick with Covid versus the unvaccinated sample of one million sick with covid, significantly fewer than 500 die in the vaccinated sample.
And to get statistical significance with numbers that small is impossible. It can’t be done. You can’t control for the confounding factors.
So, efficacy can’t be tested.
The numbers we’re seeing in the news media that compare vaccinated with unvaccinated in various countries don’t even qualify as observational studies. That is junk.
But doctors and medical students and biologists with PhDs still push the “safe and effective vaccine.”

The studies were never set up properly, nor followed adequately. Lacking numbers and many demographics and NOT ENOUGH TIME. They were all in on vaccines from the beginning even though survival numbers never warranted an EUA for experiments on humans. NEVER did they address therapeutics, other than to prevent use of those that might work.
Now that demand for vax is waning, new therapeutics will start getting pushed.

In the further comment box, I said that the healthcare system in the US broke faith with the people of this country by not providing early treatment for COVID using repurposed drugs. Instead, there has been a push for universal vaccination using vaccines that have been outdated since the delta variant arrived. I opined that the Christus Health system should encourage their affiliated physicians to practice medicine, not merely hew to CDC guidelines.
To end, I stated that the Christus Heasthcare system is owned by the Church, not the CDC. Act like it.

Eric, I just got word this morning of the 9th person I know to come down with cancer. That’s 9 people ranging in age from 19-77 in the last 6 months. The common denominator is they all got the vaxx. It’s all different forms of cancer from skin to stage 4 full blown. One of them died several weeks ago as I posted here. The person I found out about today is only 35.
Those cancer cases are accompanied by 5 friends and family that have had heart issues. Myocarditis (sp) for 3 of them, one person with blood clots and deep vein thrombosis (or something like that), and another had a massive heart attack.
Some people will never agree it’s the shot. And those are the people that brandon and the commies are counting on.

In June, I blogged about an unusual case. A U.S. District Court judge held in contempt several U.S. Marshals. The dispute, which always seemed murky to me, centered around the Marshals’ refusal to disclose their vaccination status. And the judge required everyone in his courtroom to be vaccinated. As a result, the Marshals removed several prisoners from the courtroom, because the Marshals were not in compliance with the judge’s policy. The Marshals were then held in contempt. The United States refused to prosecute the contempt case. The district court judge appointed a special prosecutor, then recused. The case was then assigned to another district court judge.
